Hey guys... just found out about Bitcoin a week ago... damn I was late!
I am very interested in it... if it was at 100-300$ per BTC like few months ago, I would probably invest some of my money there! But it went up so high and so fast... that I am afraid of it at the moment!

The coin itself may or may not be a scam, I just want to expose my problem with that specific pool, which as now seems more a technical problem than a scam attempt (the pool is still running and I have no notices of users not getting paid for recent shares).
However, you might be completely right, being scammed seems to be part of this game, sadly.It unfortunately is, sadly. Question everything around here and don't trust anybody. |

What happens once all the coins have been found??? How long will that take??? Would most the miners stop mining this coin??
There will still be miners fees, but most miners will leave. It's a simple pump and dump. Surely then since its script you could just kill the coin off with some big farm, because unless your holding coin you have no great reason to mine/maintain the block for the small miners fee. How quickly will the 42 coins be found?? Probably best to check the 42 coin thread. |

You can't compare BTC & LTC to all these dime-a-dozen coins that come out daily. This is true, and you can't expect coins to rise as much this year as they did last. And I also think LTC is over-priced/valued too. It's only because it's essentially just the second best thing to BTC. The price also only ever rises and falls with Bitcoins value. That's because the value is mostly pegged to BTC and has a knock on effect. Yeah I know. I do think Litecoin could become a decent currency by itself, but they need to get some merchants willing to deal with it. Bitcoin has the brand and Litecoin is just the cheaper tasteless alternative at the moment. Lol, a brand for people with no taste and too cheap to buy the best  . |

 or  or I am new to crypto currencies so my opinion is just a biased one. I see a lot of people moan about pre mining. Some coins are never going to make it long term so why fret over it. The ones which have which have a chance of last unless people keep hounding them for pre mining. SO its good for advertising as they can be given away free at FREE sites for promotion. They can be used as incentives to get the word out there and for merchants to accept the currency, and be used as a way to get good programmers, marketers, designers, etc on board. If the total number of coins is a huge number then a few to get it off the ground I don't see a problem. In the real world u gain for a good idea why is it frowned upon online They can be launched and mined normally then the devs can give away their own mined coins for promotion. |
