Are you seriously comparing Dogecoins to Diamonds? lol.
Of course not, i don't compare them. Diamonds have no intrinsic value Yes they do. However, Dogecoins have no intrinsic value.

Bitcoin faucet is highly profitable and that is not insane to use them
bitcoin faucet is never been a highly profitable because its usually works for only newbies and now too many faucets also dead Higher profitable for the site owner maybe... I think marginally profitable as site owner has to pay back in Bitcoin as well But they pay out in dust. I don't think it matters what currency they use.

Does anyone know an exchange that supports shorting of alts?
Thanks!
What do you mean by support it? Offering it as a service. You mean somebody or something that automatically does it for you?

Is there something like bitpay for individuals? Meaning, can I sell stuff for e.g. USD using bitcoins as means of transaction?
Say, I would like to sell a car for a certain amount of USD, the buyer pays in BTC, and the BTC get instantly converted to USD that I can withdraw to my bank account.
Thanks!
Can't you just set up a bitpay or coinbase account? You could always just try sell the Bitcoins yourself too.

Currently trading @ $937 at Gox. The US arrests has hit the currency quite hard.
I don't understand why news like this has such an impact on the price?

What's the second biggest crypto forum to this one? The ones I checked were all pretty dead when I first signed up here, but maybe that'll change now since giveaways are banned here.
I think it's Cryptocointalk (and maybe Scificointalk in future, due to their new exchange) Cryptocointalk still looks pretty dead. I guess this forum is pretty much the daddy when it comes to cryptos. Even other big alt coins like Litecoin's forums are unlively.

the marketcap would have to be 200 billion = 20x bitcoins marketcap we can still hope for 1 cent per coin.
Say, you own 1b Dogecoins at the current price. You have 2 options: 1. Start selling, placing huge sell orders and break the market down. 2. Sell only part of it, but get bigger income. It's not all about the only market cap i think. Who owns 1 billion dogecoins? lol. And it is all about the market cap. If there's billions of coins, then they'll probably only be worth something if there's billions of people using them.

Doge, unlike other cryptocions, has a BIG supporting community. I agree that 2$ is way too high, but why not? If bitcoin is the "gold" of crypos, that doge can be the daily "dollar" for smaller transaction...
Having loads of kids who own a few hundred dogs and are desperate for more doesn't really mean anything.

This guy is more realistic, but still probably far off lol. after we mined it all maybe check out ripple which has almost the same amount of coins and is 2 cents worth its possible, but highly unlikely Ripple is completely different though as I don't think you can mine it. I read its a scam as well Ripple was written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter believe me there was no scam going on there just a couple of groupies and some questionable vegetables. From what I understand they pre-mined it before it was released. Questionable vegetables?

Or you could just use an escrow. This sounds like a lot of hassle and most trades are between different currencies so I don't see how it would work.
I didn't think about trades in different currencies, but if cryptocurrency is going to go mainstream, I do think that an option like this would be greatly beneficial...many people have never used escrow, nor would they know who to trust if they did not frequent crypto forums... So why would you be sending somebody money and they sending you some?

I like to play the free faucet on Primedice. You get 100 Satoshis to gamble with. Its fun but hard to win enough to cash out,

Yes I think they have no posting restrictions at all except the time period restrictions but I am not sure.
No restrictions but you have to wait 6 minutes between posts I think. Yes, but the time limit gets less and less the more activity you get.

You don't pay more than a lot of the other deals. And paying upfront isn't a good idea, nor is paying in with paypal. Just buy some coins with the money.
