I cant understand how a gambling site can take an advantage of the isolated people because of the corona virus. Although people will have more time to spend for online thing but it does not mean that they will be interested to do online gambling. Those isolated people will be focusing on finding news, updates about the latest situation as well as focusing on keep themselves safe in many aspects especially for finding daily needs.
Well, you are both right and wrong, depending on the people. There are some people who are like the people you think, they are isolated but they are looking at news, they are following whats going on, they are reading a book, find other ways to entertain themselves, or maybe like you said they don't have money, they are simply too poor to gamble right now, have more things to pay now and less money so they do not think about gambling.

However, there are also gamblers, gamblers who have money, gamblers who like to spend time here, gamblers whose entertainment is mainly gambling. Those people will gamble more, that is the topic here, people who are not mainly a gambler but just gambles for fun may not be around but the real gamblers would increase their amount for sure.

Honestly when you are offering 2x leverage, you might as well stick to 1x, it is still risky yet not making you THAT much money to worth it. If it was 100x I would kind of understand it though.

I know it makes no sense to leverage your investment to 100x for a gambling place but honestly when you get in now and have 100x leverage, you will most likely lose all your money, that is like 99% chance, however with that 1% chance you will probably make so much money that your initial deposit would be dwarfed by the profit you made from it.

It is an insane risk but to be honest gamblers and investors are basically the same if you ask me, no non-gambler ever invests into a casino in my opinion, if you are looking into investing into a casino that means you probably played there before as well.

1344  Economy / Economics / Re: Start investing so you can quit your job and retire early. on: March 14, 2020, 11:05:45 AM
Anyone who wants to be investing should know what kind of investment they should go into, and doing that means that you should know the level of risk you can tolerate and how much you can afford to risk in investment. If you’re the type that likes to take huge risks and you have a lot of money, then Bitcoin is a good choice to go with and there is a good chance that you can make huge profit from a long term investment, if you can put away a certain amount of money for that long.

It is not a must that everyone will invest in Bitcoin, there are also other investments like gold, bonds, farms and the rest of them. Do proper research and you decide for yourself what’s best.
1345  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: March 07, 2020, 08:27:13 PM
I prefer trading to gambling and binary options because it's a good and profitable domain despite the fact that there is reoccurring risks involved I can tell that it's pretty much better than gambling and binary options gambling on the other hand I see it as a deadly form of disease because  if a gambler loses and couldn't control his emotions he may end up committing  series of crime it's risky is way greater than the  others here
Binary options is not for me I found it more complicated which I cannot long on using it before. Still, I prefer also trading as long as you know how to manage your risks. This is the problem in gambling some cannot control his emotions that turn into losses.
Everyone has their own cons and pros. Even some might treat binary options as their whole and sole source of income as they might even make great profits from that. But for us traders, we always find major profits in trading as we have experience in this field.

Not each of us might be having same thought and that is the reason why there are a number of platforms available with cryptocurrencies to start earning our wages. I never think about gambling as it have never served me with profits but major times I only had loss perhaps only because gambling is not meant for me. We should understand where we would fit in and start giving our best in the selected field.
1346  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: March 07, 2020, 07:56:20 PM
There's no best way, everyone have different skill and perspective about their future. People will say trading is more profitable than freelancing, I agree but we must see many freelancing become success more than trader, that's fact. If you already success with trade/ freelancing I suggest share your method because this is what we need. Every day many people came into this forum to increase skill and money, help us by sharing your experience, it's more worth for us.
I do not really think that OP has any kind of experience so far as he is here to ask for suggestions. First of all, I would like to ask OP about which skills do you posses? The stream to choose would entirely depend on the skills acquired by OP. I see many people are quite bad with the graphs and hence trading is never meant for such people. OP should be having some interest in any field which would make him start earning a revenue in the same field.

Usually freelancing is best option for those people who have great hobbies like painting, writing articles, etc as you would actually be payed just to enrich your hobbies. Trading is never anyone's hobby but we need to gain interest as time passes by. Trading might seem a lot tricky for anyone at the initial stage.
1347  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have you ever lost access to your Bitcoins? on: March 07, 2020, 07:25:31 PM
I only ever get a case like this on the HYIP website. when I invested there and couldn't access the bitcoin that I had because I thought it was a scam site.
That is more a investing mistake rather than a technical mistake and yes even when I was new there were a lot of websites which claimed to send double back in 36 or 48 hours but I never fell for these scams because I was new to bitcoin but I was very familiar with online scams and there is no reason why someone will double my money in some hours.

in other cases, I have never had a case like that, except for a bitcoin theft because I entered a phishing site. however, so far I have kept my private keys well and my passwords stored in a safe place. so I can always access it.
That almost happened with me too when myetherwallet had some issues with certificate and users were being redirected to another website when they clicked the certificate. I almost fell for it but because I saw that something is fishy I decided not to access wallet that day and proved to save my coins, you may read about it here: https://www.theverge.com/2018/4/24/17275982/myetherwallet-hack-bgp-dns-hijacking-stolen-ethereum
1348  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can Bitcoin become a safe haven for corona virus economic impact? on: March 07, 2020, 06:34:44 PM
Corona virus is actually spreading more globally. Even some other major countries excluding china have been found symptoms of corona virus. This is really getting a lot dangerous. Corona virus was been started from china and also there are some leaked videos where chines people are intentionally spreading corona virus. This might have made the outbreak of this virus go more viral in china which then spread it's root in some other countries as well.

BTC might help financially to get rid of this virus but even if this virus gets global than I think that there would be some financial crisis and it might even affect the price for bitcoins. People might sell their bitcoins just to have some cash on hand to get themselves cured with this deadly virus.

~snip~
You do know that people can ask questions about what they understand or do not understand and explain what they imagine it is and ask if it is correct and if not what part of it is not? Like for example even you were a bit contradicting yourself, you said "that is not the case" but then you read the following and realized that IS the case as well, as you can see there were wrong parts of my post and there were correct parts of my post as well, which means I got some parts of it right but didn't understand the other parts.

I kind of get it now and I have tried my hand in parlay here as well, didn't go as well as I planned and lost 3 our of 7 so I got nothing Cheesy lol. But, if this keeps up I will eventually get something in return as well and be right enough to claim a good return.
1350  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What p2p games will you play? on: March 07, 2020, 05:19:20 PM
I never encounter a p2p games
Quite surprising because you seem to be a regular in gambling section and even dice was introduced as PvP by primedice but I agree that there are not many PvP games out there now days.

but if ever had in betting games, maybe most of players dont try this kind of games because first peer to peer betting is legal but not accepted in some Law. Second its still better to bet from your crypto than using your fiat. But if ever p2p games betting become known then possible it will used of some player and maybe I try it, but for now i'll remain the old style betting.
Not sure about legality but player vs player games are much more fun because you are not playing against a giant house which is gonna eat your bankroll eventually. The main reason why not much casinos offer such games is because the house always wants to win and with player vs player games they will be mere spectators and live on tiny edge.
1351  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can writing how hard you worked for earning money restrict you from gambling? on: March 07, 2020, 04:47:37 PM
This is great, we don't know maybe a lot of people or gamblers specifically might see this and could change them from their addiction in gambling. Gambling addiction is a serious matter because, it is rooted within a persons character and is hard to control especially when the addiction have been long and embed deep in the mind of a gambler. It is indeed a good strategy to first consider the things you sacrifice and will sacrificed before and after gambling so you could think carefully and most probably make the right decision you would never regret.
Yes and that is why even though more and more threads in this section are made but I always feel like if even a single person is learning through each thread then it is worth to make such threads and the point made is very true : Are you gambling the money you earned awaking nights and putting tireless efforts? I would never gamble money made that way.

Gambling ultimately was made for the higher society people who waste their money in drugs and other addictions so to grab some money from them via casinos. I don't know anyone who makes money by such tireless efforts like working non-stop for 2 hours in night will ever gamble.
1352  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: March 07, 2020, 12:18:23 PM
Lebron being so good for so long is probably due to him taking care of himself better than any other person so far but also having the technology to do so. I am sure from now on we will see a lot more players who will play at around 40 years old as well because technology of sports science has improved a lot and taking care of body is a lot easier today than it was 30 years ago. Players who started the league today will be able to play for 2 decades without too many problems unless they face big injuries.

Obviously, there are still times like what happened to Kobe (rip) where no matter how much you take care of yourself you will never be like before, but without that type of career ending type of injury, many players will play until 40 without a problem. So, that means good players (many superstars from today's game like Giannis) could very well break into 40k points in the next 10 or so years if they do not get a horrible injury streak or anything and just play 10 more seasons with a decent health.
1353  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 5 mistakes every crypto trader should avoid on: March 06, 2020, 10:43:01 AM
Always avoid overtrading

This is something that I didn't had control on. When I started trading, I used to keep on checking the prices to see if I had made any profits. Whenever the price used to go low I would panic and start selling which eventually resulted in loss in most of my trades. This is why I left trading.
Absolutely vital to hold yourself in bearish market and making sure you don't get over excited and over-trade during the bullish market. I have had the same problem when I was new because I was a BTC price trader initially and I used to get so excited that I would buy more and more bitcoins during a bullish run and then obviously at some point the bullish market will stop and I would panic and sell the coins.

This also had to do with faith because when I was new to the bitcoins world I never knew if bitcoins would be 0 tomorrow morning and hence when it started to fall down I was so worried that oh no the time has arrived. Now, with time I have realized that bearish rounds will come and bitcoins is never going to be zero ever.
1354  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is Best Trading or Freelancing? on: March 06, 2020, 10:01:20 AM
I feel like trading must be started once you have build good enough capital because if you prematurely start trading then you will loose the small capital you have. There are times in trading when you will have to hold coins for even 1 month and you must have enough solidity to do so without stressing too much.

So, my suggestion would be build a bankroll by doing freelancing tasks and once you have build a big enough capital through freelancing you can always start trading but I would suggest always start slow and small even when you start trading because trading is such a thing that you won't realize where your money is gone in a matter of few trades. I have done trading for quote sometime and believe me I am giving advice from my experiences and you will relate to me once you are into trading for sometime.

There's only one word for a 9-leg win like this.... WOW 😲
Let's hear it for this sports fan 👏🏼

Honestly once again it is a 9 legged win and kudos to whoever managed it and of course any bet that is such high amount combined would be awesome but considering you are a whole sportsbook and there must be thousands of slips on the website every single day, it would be weird if none of them actually won. This dude literally played on 4 games that were under 1.20!! odds which is basically as guaranteed as it gets and total of 6 games under 1.36 as well!

So, as you can see there was really one big risky game with 2.85 odds which is really hard to get but all of the other bets were basically sure fire things. Still it is 23 odds combined and kudos to him for achieving but as a sportsbook you guys have to get used to being a place where thousands play and eventually some do win of course.
1356  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Age restriction in gambling on: March 06, 2020, 04:28:01 AM
It's so funny! Cheesy someone can play gambling starting from the age of 5. It is better to give no restriction than to give "5 years" restriction in casino platform. Does a 5 year old child have the ability to understand good or bad!
The age restriction limits show to me how greedy the casinos are and allowing a 5 year old kid to gamble is like considering him mature enough to know what is good and what is bad for them which I am sure is not true. I really hope there is a international restriction that should set standards for every casino.

Kids especially those who are young enough and incapable of making their own decision still needs further guidance and gambling is not a thing for them.
I agree that it would be a negative impact overall while they will learn the importance of money but at the same time there will be no fun in their life because they won't be able to able sports and other activities once they are into gambling.
1357  Economy / Gambling / Re: FORTUNEJACK.COM |Deposit 777 play with 1777 mBTC |Live Casino, Slots, Betting on: March 05, 2020, 05:57:17 PM
I didn't quite get the 7-1 100% return thingy. Now imagine I played 7 games and I have won all 6 of them, would it be like I won the 6 legged one and didn't played the 7th at all? If that is the case that is amazing for people who will play 6 legged parlays anyway because 7th one would be basically free to play even if you are wrong, it even enhances the chances because if you play 6 legged one and lose just one you would be 5/6 and still lose (well get 75%) but if you play one more you would basically get all of it back anyway.

This is really an awesome promotion if it is like I imagine it is. I will go out and try one right now, there isn't much to bet that I want to bet but this can't go for free and I can't just miss it, I really want to give it a try for sure.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Leave gambling, if it destroys you. on: March 05, 2020, 05:27:06 PM
I had a different situation.  I loved going to a nightclub.  There are a lot of girls in the night club, and that's great!
I was laughing while I was reading your situation and would love to be in your place Grin. Indeed it is great and gambling has always been related to glamour and girls.

But on the second floor of the club there was a casino ... At the entrance to the club, when I bought the entrance ticket, I received free chips in the casino.  And then I won at the casino!  And I forgot about the girls and started playing all the time.  I stopped dating girls.  I had money.  I often won at the casino.  But I had no more sex.  That was bad.
So how did it end actually is what I was curious about, I mean do you still go there and win money? If not did you try to put your own money lately to gamble? I mean if you only won for once or twice then you must be still going to the club because you would have more money than before and I believe these free chips must be first time only or they offer such chips on every time you visit?
1359  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin can save some people's lives :-> on: March 05, 2020, 04:44:26 PM
True meehn, cryptocurrency can go a long way to help but I don’t think that’s still possible now for China because a lot of people in are making use of WeChat Pay and other platforms that are very popular there.

It will be difficult for Bitcoin to replace those payment methods because they are already very popular there. And moreover they are offering the same services that Bitcoin will offer, except in terms of fees, Bitcoin might possibly be better in terms fees and have a lower fees compared to those other platforms or maybe not. But in my country it’s not like that, there are lots of platforms are way more cheap than Bitcoin when it comes transactions fees.
1360  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can bitcoin halving make cryptocurrencies reach all time high again? on: March 05, 2020, 02:18:03 PM
Possibly it can make the price to increase and reach a new high. There are lots of speculations on the internet about an increase that would be coming after the Halving.

This might be true because if you watch how the price has been moving, it has been quite bullish and tends to be making moves upwards, I hope it keeps moving that way till it reaches a high price. And sometimes these kinds of situation can create a FOMO and when people starts rushing in and buying bitcoin it will cause a huge pump on the price. If you check the last time Bitcoin reached an all time high price you will notice it didn’t waste time on top before it started going down immediately.
