1341  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price: Analyst Willy Woo Says Bears Still Have the Upper Hand on: January 11, 2019, 05:08:35 PM

Marathon sounds kinda like it has an ending and it will take long, I do not plan on selling all my coins even if bitcoin price is a million dollars each, I will sell as much as possible but will still keep some, or even if I sell a lot it is probably like buying back from 980k or something Cheesy.

No. When that time comes, we won't have to sell. Cool

Buy and hold, and spend as little of your coins as you can, saving most. The opportunity costs is too great to ignore, in my opinion. Especially when you bought your coins using fiat from work.

Exactly. In January when I was looking to sell at least part of my stash I was thinking what I will sell it for? Euro? What should I do with it? Wait that some crash kills it out. I was looking at Gold at that time. But then BTC price went down to much for me to bother with it anymore.

Best strategy is to spend more when price is high and to buy more when price is low as now. That is the best strategy there is!!!

Well i couldn't have thought otherwise dude. That's probably the most sound strategy one can come up with unless they're willing to take higher risk. Accumulation time for me with the market controlled by bears.
1342  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is it time to sell Ethereum & all coins , and buy Bitcoin on: January 11, 2019, 01:59:57 PM
There are some coins that I am still hold and I will still sell my bitcoin for them. Bitcoin is making some progress in price but it will not make much profits like those coins that has good intentions and high market capitalization.
I also witness this one since the market are quiet huge now with bitcoin and its not that profitable because of the small pump. So if you are holding a good altcoins better to stay on hold and don’t just put it on one place. Bitcoin is good, but there is also some altcoins that can be more profitable.

Right. Btc's been moving quite against where i'd want it to be and i don't think it's good to go all in at this point. Like trx right now. It's making considrable noise and has made good profits already for me.
1343  Economy / Speculation / Re: What will be the faith of bitcoin this year on: January 11, 2019, 01:41:56 PM
I will like to know any idea and news?

It will be a sad year. BTC can go as low as $1500. There are some chances that it could climb to $6000 . If new world crysis will happen this year, then it can go even lower - in that case big money will be out ofall high-risc assets.

Well you can't really say that for sure. 2018 was said to be bitcoin's break away year and it turned out to be a breakaway for bears. Now not many people are optimistic for 2019 but we may get a surprise by years end.
1344  Economy / Speculation / Re: BITCOIN in 2029 on: January 11, 2019, 01:39:48 PM
Bitcoin evolved a lot in it's first decade. We saw a lot of improvements in it's underlying code (SegWit, Lightning Networks, etc.), a lot of controversies and many more.

Hopefully in the next 10 years, there will be a much better improvement in it as well as better mainstream adoption in it's truer sense.
Controversy is always going to be part of bitcoin since it is impossible to have a new way to understand money and not have such problems but so far we have been successful in resolving those issues even if some people differed and created their own forks, what worries me is that as bitcoin becomes more popular more bad actors will come and will probably try to take control of the network so the next decade will be very interesting.

Indeed it will be. Though for me, growth will definitely come within that time. If i have that much to spare, i'd stock up on bitcoin right now to hold for the next 10 years.
1345  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the market will continue to fall on: January 11, 2019, 01:37:47 PM
I understood why the big players of the cryptocurrency market do not allow bitcoin to grow in price. They're waiting for the summer of 2020 to watch John McAfee eat his penis. After that we will see the real rally.

It's just a joke to lighten the mood. Please don't take this seriously. The entire cryptocurrency market is red again.

Lol. That's a good one. With old man mcafee all cocky with his predictions, i think even small players are waiting to see if he indeed will make true his bet haha. January's not proving to be better to start the  year.
1346  Economy / Speculation / Re: December 2018: Is this a good time to enter bitcoin if you have cash? on: January 11, 2019, 01:35:13 PM
.. snip ..

Price of bitcoin has not changed over the last 40 days. Sentiment has been low based on polls and opinions of bulls.

It's because there's not enough volume, meaning just the same people playing around the market, either shorting or just long term holders or even speculators who uses bot to trigger another sell-off just like we witnessed in the last 48 hours.

So there's no fresh blood to pump the market and unless we hear some good news to come this month, we might see the price trading sideways or worst going to the lower lows or the edge of $3K.

Well that's something to expect since people have other priorities when it's holiday season. The price last december definitely would be a good time to take stocks but it's also giving time so many people don't have that much to spare.
1347  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Falling to mid 3K Will it go down more? on: January 11, 2019, 01:32:26 PM
It looks like Bitcoin price will not return to some steady growth so soon. After a short period of small rise the other day now it's again beginning to fall. Still I can't say that I'm surprised much although many thought this is the sign of recovery. It's possible that it will fall all the way to 3000$ although I hope this will not happen. Certain thing is that we will have to wait a rather long time for Bitcoin to fully recover.

It may not even happen this year dude. The almost 20k all time high seems like a different age now lol. I certainly don't expect to see another one probably in two years. Though i'd be happy to be wrong lol.
1348  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin recovering ? on: January 11, 2019, 01:30:31 PM
As we can see the bitcoin price is not look so good at least for me at 3600$, i never expected to have such a low price for bitcoin this time. I really don't know who or why manipulate, make the price to be in this zone. I think bitcoin will recover but we need more time, maybe some months.

Well there will be recoveries and there will be corrections. It's part of the cycle and with the current bear trend, a small recovery may come with a bigger correction. I guess it's just about setting up your exectations right. And yeah, it may take that long, even months for us to be able to make consistent recoveries.
1349  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will the price of Bitcoin hit 12 to 13k end of this year? on: January 11, 2019, 01:28:07 PM
It is hard to predict price but bitcoin as a master can easy go to 12k buy end of this year. I am realistic and not romantic that where i see the price. What price you predict btc will be by end of year.

Even in November this forecast looked fantastic. The market situation is now bad and in the next 2-3 months one should not expect rapid growth even from the strongest coins.

Lol i'd be thankful to see btc around 10k to end the year. It's going to be a long way up for us i think and there certainly would be a lot of obstacles that may even get us to new lows for this year. It's about having nerves of steel now to wait out the bears.
1350  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin Going To Zero? on: January 11, 2019, 01:25:18 PM
Bitcoin will not fall to zero, and even though there is a lot of negative news with bitcoin, but bitcoin will still survive and be able to recover even higher. I believe in bitcoin, and if bitcoin will disappear from the crypto market then I doubt it.

Yes bitcoin will not go to zero. This topic is wasting of time and panic the investors or people showing interest in bitcoin. We haven't seen bitcoin gone down last year below $3000 which shows the positive results. Kindly avoid these type of posts and don't hurt the lovers of crypto coins.

Well the topic doesn't have any credibility to back it up and we all know it's just here to stir some speculations. Long time crypto users know all too well that these kinds of thread spring out like mushrooms during bear markets.
1351  Economy / Speculation / Re: Could this be the inverse hNs ? Back to 5K Reversal ? on: January 11, 2019, 01:22:46 PM
Who knows what's going on in their minds. I'm not expecting any positive movements anytime soon but i'd be contented if the bulls make  their move. Patterns don't always indicate the right trajectory especially in a bear market.
1352  Economy / Speculation / Re: no 1 reason why the bulls are starting real soon!!! on: January 11, 2019, 12:45:21 PM
There is still no sign for bullrun even there are already uptrends in the price of bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. These uptrends are mostly on short term and is always followed by dump or decline so it means factors that will trigger a bullrun are still not there. I think the price of cryptocurrencies will go up or down whatever the situation in the stock market.

Right, the bulls is still nowhere to be found. Although we see some sign of the price spike in recent days, it's not enough to push it even further resulting into another dump in the last 24 hours.

So as much as we wanted to see the bulls forming around, it's not the case because the bears is too strong at this point and it seems that they're not exhausted, although they are weakening, we might see them pull one dramatic scenario wherein bitcoin will go down below $3K, before we can finally see the bulls wrestle the market from them.

Yeah, if you've been in this market for some time now, you'll know that a simple hike of a few hundred dollars isn't an indication of a bull run at all. Nope. A small price rise can have a corresponding correction that could drag the price lower.
1353  Economy / Speculation / Re: $3k range the new $6k range? on: January 11, 2019, 12:43:27 PM
For two months the price stayed in an uncharacteristicaly stable range in the mid $6ks, before the price was very quickly crashed into half, down into the $3ks. Do you think this same stability has begun to form over the next couple months in the mid $3ks? if so, will price break upwards to end this stable range or downwards, as it did last November?
It is possible the price of bitcoin will remain at a price close to the current level for some time since there does not seem to be many reasons to make us think a recovery is possible during the next weeks or months, it is precisely for that reason that despite my belief in a recovery of bitcoin this seems like a good moment to try to look for altcoins that could outperform bitcoin during the next months.
It's possible if Bakkt will go live this January or February. But it looks like it will be delayed again. So let's assumed that we may see the price going around the $3K-$4K mark for quite sometime now. It's already good if we don't put too much hope for a bullrun, so that we won't be emotionally affected if you go our or regular and everyday trading activity.

Yeah keeping the price around the current state takes away most people's high expectation and makes you aware that things can go from bad to worse, hence you become a little bit more vigilant. I don't mind though if this goes on for a little while.
1354  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why the Crypto Market Remains ‘Moderately Bearish’ in 2019 on: January 11, 2019, 12:41:16 PM

bearish would have been if price of bitcoin went below $3k not when it is pretty much the same as it was before! fluctuating within the same channels.

Just because the price didn't break that support level yet doesn't mean the market is overall bearish. It may not be bearish for the last month or so we've been stuck in this range but for the last year the price has been trending downwards. Until there are 2-3+ months of growth the market will and should still be considered as bearish.

I agree. A little push upwards doesn't take us out of the woods by a long shot. The bears for me still hold the advantage over the bulls who seem to be enjoying themselves hibernating and watching people being beaten black and blue.
1355  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Mysterious instant drop? on: January 11, 2019, 12:39:20 PM
What's mysterious about that drop though? We've been shown that kind of drop pretty much all year and for me, we shouldn't be surprised anymore even if it drops a little more. 2018 made me numb from these sudden dips.
1356  Economy / Speculation / Re: I confirm my forecast - $100k by 2019 for 1 BTC on: January 11, 2019, 12:37:45 PM
We should be happy if we reach 10k this year with a slow but steady growth Smiley

Indeed. Anything beyond that would be a big bonus already for all of us. With the kind of movement bitcoin in showing us, i'm not hoping for any new all time highs this year.
1357  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Pre-Season on: January 10, 2019, 03:47:20 PM

The DRose dilemma now.
Yes that might happen. He is at risk now but theh still need to finish his contract or else they will be breaching it.

For that amount of time everything could change and I do think DRose knows about it already.
If he does he might be going through now with hardcore practices to get back what skill that he had loss.
That way, if Twolves does not really want him then he could still get a better offer on other teams.
I bet his 50 point game made some scouts to consider taking him again.

Twolves, can easily waived Drose, knowingly that they only invested on him for a year and I doubt if they'll renew it again. On the better side, "let's take his 50 point game" as a credit, and it might be a good thing to consider. But, The only thing I see on how Drose can boost himself out on the market is if he could complete this season without having major injury that could limit his playing time. As I see right now, his doing well though there are some missed games due to minor injuries but I think this won't make an huge effect.

Well drose is a tragic story with so much talent hampered by injury. Take away the games he didn't play thus season and you get an above average statistics, from a guy many have given up on. If the wolves waive him, it'll be another teams' merit.
1358  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: the house always win???? on: January 10, 2019, 03:43:13 PM
More balance, more chance to get wins and need more luck about that, that's gambling, everything needs luck. Often strategies not working and also other tips, in gambling., for me it's hard to get win which's planned, let alone try to against the house until always win.

It's about control. They have control over whateve happens in their games. You don't. It's as simple as that and they house will always want to win in the end and players should already be aware that that's just how things go in gambling.
1359  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How gambling sites can cheat you on: January 10, 2019, 03:40:53 PM
How? Lol basically they have control over whatever's in their site. You balances, your account information, the games that you play, name it they have access to do anything they want as long as you're in their platform.
1360  Economy / Speculation / Re: How to BUY BITCOIN at the "right" price on: January 10, 2019, 03:27:51 PM
Buying low is the right place to buy bitcoin but we can't find what is the low price and high so it deoends on how the market conditions and we need to react for it.Buying now will be perfect since the prices down too much so the next would be increase.

I agree with your views, no one know what is the low price we should buy Bitcoin. If I have a bigger sum, I I will spilt my capital and buy a few times in the month. For the past few months, I actually buy a few hundred dollars worth of Bitcoin on my salary day.

Or you could just buy now and then leave your btcs for a while. Quite difficult to short btc nowadays and trying to get a good entry point may backfire if you can't go long. If you're going to go short term, probably it's better to deal with alts.
