481  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: April 17, 2019, 09:07:53 AM
I think it is, but I don't think it will repeat just the same. The number of usage or bitcoin holder transactions is more than what was once before,

Thats it . more btc holder/transaction means there are more demand on btc these days compare to was before . meaning the price thesedays or on the future can probably double than what we experience on the late 2017 but still lets not forget the fact that btc is still a volatile type of crypto  which means the price can still drop no matter how much is the total number of btc hodlers  .

Lol. I hope it does follow the 2017 path up to the december run. But i doubt it'll repeat that soon. I'm pretty sure people wi start selling when the price even goes close to 10k. Things are different now than when 2017 started.
482  Economy / Economics / Re: What the true believers know but don't express well on: April 17, 2019, 09:04:49 AM
Of course the true believers would always have faith in Bitcoin.
We believe that as long as it still got a value even if it is small there are still a chance that it would get high again.
It would always have a value and would always get high again.

People with positive motivation will always act optimistically by dealing off the long bearishness that will lead on achieving success, true believer's will never leave the shortcoming market, instead keeping the situation as a challenges in crypto world and continue to invest while its value are insufficient. But people with lack of faith will be attached by the current scenario and feel frustrated that may create lame deliberation and one of a way to get loses.
I think what they are believe of will certainly show how their expressions and actions are on the market, its true what you say that people who believe in
bitcoin, in fact they will not be too worried about bearishness, they remain calm because they believe prices will definitely recover

Well the 2018 market showed true believers from those that only got in because of the hype. If you were able to get through up to this point with your btc holdings, then good for you. Though we also have to be a little flexible even if we have that much faith in btc.
483  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't stress too much due to the bear market on: April 17, 2019, 08:33:50 AM
what we need to do is be patient, and if we have more courage, we use this bear market situation by increasing our investment assets. because the fluctuating crypto market also allows returning to call bulls to run. after that, we will get a big profit.
and I don't think you still have to be stressed, the market conditions aren't as bad as some time ago? why do you have to panic. You should be able to be calmer because the market improves and makes you profitable even if only a few percent, keep calm the price will definitely continue to rise
for now, the situation is quite normal, even the price has recovered. at this time there is no need to be stressed. however, some people may not be able to move on from very high prices in 2017 and early 2018. well, that makes a lot of people think that current prices are still part of a dump.

You get stressed when you have no other means of income and it's urgent that you get profit out if your investments immediately. If that's your situation then yeah you can't avoid getting stressed. It's better to just stay away fron the market if you don't have that much to spare.
484  Economy / Economics / Re: Man who created own credit card sues bank for not sticking to terms on: April 17, 2019, 08:30:52 AM
He just took advantage of a system flaw, with the automation in the steps and others I am not surprised to read such a story.

Smart contracts have indeed their place but the thing is smart contracts are not only about cryptos. It can also be used (and it is) with the fiats system, insurance.. It's about IT protocols firstly. And to be an efficient smart contract the data needs to be accurate and this is where we have a limit with it.

Lol. A bank rep not reviewing an agreement with a customer at the same time the customer altered the agreement. The legalities involved here can make your head ache. Kinda admired how he got away with it in the first place.
485  Economy / Economics / Re: There's nothing more happier than seeing your bitcoin price going up! on: April 17, 2019, 08:18:39 AM
My first investment in Bitcoin made me happy, because I won, and although it was not much, I felt very good, because it was the entrance to this immense world of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies, then it was a great entry, nowadays I understand much more the market and if it had not been for that small investment of time and money I do not think I could have yet known the Bitcoin or this speculative market.

Well of course anyone would feel happy when their money grows. Though the problem may be what you'll do when you see it going up. Would you sell or keep it hoping to gain more? Here's where being greedy comes to the picture. Sometimes profits end up as losses because people don't know what to do when the price moves up.
486  Economy / Economics / Re: If you want to be rich..! on: April 17, 2019, 08:14:43 AM
I agree with you. Working hard might sustain your daily living but it doesn't give you an assurance of having a sustainable life in the future. It's better to work smart where you are not just working for the present but also preparing for the future. There are lots of smart alternatives and one of them is investing.
Right, without intelligence you will never be able to generate wealth. I think working hard is not enough, many people work hard but only have a small income, they don't work smart. look at how Facebook, Microsoft, Apple developer and so on, they work smart, so they can become rich, innovate dude!

Hard work with smart work will lead us to wealth. In this internet era, i think its time to be smart and adopting technology to expand our bussiness. Many traditional bussiness death because internet and i think we should adapting on technology including bitcoin or blockchain. Soon or later, blockchain or crypto will be a good and profitable bussiness

It can go either way. Working hard did make a lot of people successful. Working smart, sometimes made people take advantage of others' weaknesses on their way to success. Work hard and smart but don't compromise your honesty and integrity.
487  Economy / Economics / Re: KYC for penny money? on: April 17, 2019, 08:11:37 AM
I saw in my social media feeds that there's a lot of people now posting about free cryptocurrency that needed of kyc before you get a penny money. This people not think if it's will good to them to give their identity in any site for just penny money. Yeah it's free but your identity will be possible to use in any harmful doings.

Whats your thoughts about this?
Your identity is worth a lot so don't be stupid to give all your info for just a penny.Even don't give if someone says they will give $100 for KYC because the scammers will sue this identity to ru scam projects and steal lot of money from investors.

Lol. It's going to be your fault if you fall for this scam and get your identity stolen. Signs are there if you could only care to look at it. For me, it should be obvious that the risk is not worth the gains, if ever there are any.
488  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How will you teach bitcoin if someone does want to know coming from you? on: April 16, 2019, 08:23:18 AM
well, I think some people have asked me to teach about bitcoin. well, the thing I say most often is looking for references on the internet about that. because this is not something easy. Cryptocurrency is also filled with scammers if not careful. well, most of them are only interested in how to make money instantly.
Same as me here. Most of my friends and my family just ask how to make money with bitcoin. it not just something i can say go to exchanges and buy some tokens right. To those who really lazy to read the news im not very suggested to go in cryptos as cryptos evolve in every second. So for me i always seek the new news and always invests on something fresh or something different so i will not make a same mistake where i lost my money to scammer not only one but five time until now. So be sure to keep safe from this scammer out there.

Well if they're really interested, i'd be willing to share what i know. I admit that i don't yet know all there is to crypto and bitcoin but i'll share whatever i can. First by showing the person the sites they need to check by themselves including this forum, how my wallet works, how to send and receive crypto, basic essentials to start them up. And then we can learn together.
489  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BITTREX ACCOUNT GOT HACKED NEED HELP on: April 16, 2019, 07:45:41 AM
Sadly, things like this happen. You just don't have to be careful with your exchange account but all other linked accounts as well like your email. Unfortunately if that's how bittrex replied then there may not be much hope to retrieve your coins. I don't also have that much to spare for donations so sorry and goodluck.
490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do people but bigger bets in sports compared to other type of gambling? on: April 16, 2019, 07:40:34 AM
I would like to know why people are trusting their luck more in sports gambling compared to other type of games.
Personally, I put bigger bet on sports because I believe I have a little skills that would give me a better chance of winning, but I'm not really serious with sports gambling.
I think the people who are trust in their lucky because they won't make analysis on sports gambling games, as you know that sports gambling games needs analysis skills team players, it will takes time and bad way to take entertainment in gambling games, you know mostly people does not takes serious about gambling games, so they choose games based on the lucky than analysis of skills team.
They put more money in sportsbettting because they don't believe luck doesn't play a big part in bets like these. Sports fans don't need much time to analyze which team or player has the upperhand since they've been supporters ever since and it's more exciting to support and bet on your own team.
491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you Play... on: April 16, 2019, 07:33:06 AM
.. in a Bitcoin Casino that has a minimum deposit set of 0.005 BTC? At the moment of creating this thread, this would mean around 25USD.

To me, on one Side this seems fair given the bonuses given by online casinos however I'm doubting my own thoughts, please share your point of view, should it be lower or higher or what? All feedback appreciated

Huh

Thank you,

P.

Well .005 is a decent amount to throw away. Not too conservative and not too much to hurt your portfolio if you lose it all. I'd be willing to play with that amount without any guilt or hesitation.
492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can gambling turn an atheist to theist and superstitious? on: April 16, 2019, 07:30:52 AM
Lol. An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in god, satan and any other deities and what can only change their minds are actual evidences that these personslities actually do exist. Gambling has no evidence to provide. At all. It's easier to convert a theist to an atheist than the other way around.
493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Manny Pacquiao Sign Up with Rizin Fighting Federation on: April 16, 2019, 07:22:23 AM
Never heard of this Rizin Fighting Federation till now. Another promotional fight and I'm sure that sports fans would love to see Manny fight an MMA fighter.

It's a Japanese MMA federation that was created by the same guys who ran Pride. There have been some famous fighters there like Fedor, Cro Cop, Wanderlei Silva, Akebono and... Floyd Mayweather lol.

Lol. I think they're just staining their reputation as an mma company by pitting even their champions to be punching bags by boxing greats. It's not a good idea on their part though i doubt if manny will agree to this. Floyd did of course because of the money but pacquiao is different from him in that aspect.
494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 NBA Season on: April 16, 2019, 07:19:59 AM
Did you see that?

We are wrong that the Warriors will sweep the Clippers, series is now tied 1-1.
Lou Williams such an undervalued player was the best player for his  team tonight, this team just give a  statement that they can win even against the warriors.

Haven't seen the game though. So it looks like Clippers pull some 'upset' in game 2 as most of the fans here says that GSW will have a sweep. I agree that Lou Williams is very underrated. I saw his performance in game 1 and he was doing good. So another interesting series to watch and let us see if GSW will response in game 3.
I want this series to last longer, a game 7 would be nice to witness.
We all are not expecting this, but this young team are just hungry enough and they prove to everybody what they can do.

23-41 clippers was the 4th quarter score, in just one quarter alone they stop the GSW way to 2-0.

Well that was a surprise. And that's after being down 31 points i think plus homecourt advantage to gsw lol.  The first round is proving to be quite interesting than i expected to be honest. But i don't think it'll go far. The next 4 games can be swept by the warriors you know.
495  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: can you reverse or cancel a bitcoin transaction? on: April 16, 2019, 07:08:30 AM

bitcoin transaction that we have done will not be canceled, this is the system that I think is very good from bitcoin after we do bitcoin transaction then we just wait for the results of the transaction
Exactly you are right mate that if we make any transactions with Bitcoin then it’s impossible to cancel it. But I've heard from my friend that if transaction is not confirmed then there have some way but I dont know how to do it.
Yup as long as rhe transaction is not successful it can be,but if done then nothing we can do and it was explained few post above us

The only time someone is able to get funds back from a hacker is if they find out a transaction was sent right after it happened and they try to out compete that tx with a really high fee to incentivize the miners
Is it really possible?well atleast there are still chance to recover when hack though its very isolated cases and will only happen once in a blue moon

Sometimes you wouldn't have the option to outcompete the transactions because there won't be any option for you to do that and transaction fees are automatic. I don' think there's really any solid run-around for making such mistakes so you just have to be very careful.
496  Other / Meta / Re: How Many Years on Bitcointalk? Take the Poll! on: April 16, 2019, 07:05:21 AM
Five years and counting with the same campaign ever since lol. We used to be a little bigger but i don't see much of my mates anymore. Nonetheless, it's been one good ride especially since i'm quite enjoying the discussions here 😁😁😁
497  Economy / Speculation / Re: Realistic Predictions for Bitcoin? on: April 16, 2019, 07:03:25 AM
It will not be steadily since fiat is the leading currency for most the upcoming time. we will get to those values if the majority dont sell to fiat but keep it to spend it again on products/services that will do the same. where more fiat is coming inn less is going out. its a mind set that needs to change.
Those value of Bitcoin that the OP has said is not impossible because we don't need to pour trillions of dollars to make Bitcoin's price or value go higher and just like what you have said it is on the mindset and when most of the people have a mindset to hodl for longer period of time the possibilities of Bitcoin skyrocketing is high without any kind of manipulation.  Smiley

We can't know that for sure though. A realistic prediction isn't that realistic at all because any prediction in this marker has a fair chance of becoming true due to it's heavy volatility. We just choose to either be conservative about it or overly confident like john mcaffee lol.
498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is not about ''get rich fast'' !! on: April 16, 2019, 06:35:51 AM
You cannot get rich fast from BTC as nobody knows the future evolution of bitcoin. This whole BTC stuff is just hit and miss.

Yes, there were also some people 10 years ago telling me Bitcoin will skyrocket to 10k at least, but there were also lots of people telling me it will be dead by 2011. Those people making "forecasts" are ridiculous. The truth is nobody knows what is going to happen. And whoever presents himself as a "guru" or "expert" is just a charlatan.

Unless you get real lucky of course. Some people who bought in at the beginning of 2017 and cashed out by december did do it the fast way. It's life's breaks. Sometimes you get the better end, most of the time not. So don't rely on shortcuts but work your way to success if you want to be rich.
499  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto the movie about bear on wallstreet released their trailer. on: April 16, 2019, 05:37:06 AM
Just watched the trailer through the link and it seems it'll be a great movie tackling crypto and how it can be used for laundering lol. If this becomes a success, chances are interest and awareness will spike and it may be a big help to what would be mass adoption.
500  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Bitcoin Debit Card on: April 16, 2019, 05:31:45 AM
It's not long now. Currently there are services that has mastercard or visa debit that you can link your wallets on and then transfer immediately. Though these converts bitcoin to fiat first. But i don't think it'll be long before crypto wallets themselves partner with either visa or mastercard. I think coinbase is in the process already of doing such.
