thanks anyways but ive killed enough psu's to know I have to have them certified

even the crappy xion psus claim to be 80% efficient but without the certification I cant believe it.

I am sure your PSU is good as you claim but I cant risk it, thanks anyways

Any thoughts on how to deal with fees for devcoin withdrawals in pools? Looks like I'll have to set a much larger minimum withdrawal for devcoin since I can't judge how much the fees are. I'm getting people withdrawing 2 devcoin and I'm paying a 6 devcoin fee for it.

We had to raise the withdrawal fees to stop coin spamming:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=34586.msg630127#msg630127

You'll have to set a much larger minimum withdrawal fee or take the devcoins as part of your pool fee.

lol , how does someone even mine 2 devcoins?

I guess im going to have to get used to this kind of stuff now that we hit the big time

im used to running my pool at like 100-300 difficulty Tongue

1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [800,000 DVC remaining bounty] for Devcoin preliminary testing on: January 07, 2012, 09:16:20 PM
Of course it matters I need to know if I should reboot my pool to merged mining configuration at 24999 or 25000
1393  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [DVC] Devcoin Mining Pool Now Open - Merged Mining Coming Soon [DVC] on: January 07, 2012, 07:48:20 PM
only 12 blocks left to go Smiley

... till your pump and dump "I wanna get rich off the fools" scheme comes to an end and Luke attacks in the holy crusade against the alt chains.

That's bullsh1t go do a little research and find out what devcoin is all about
It's not just another alt chain , it is viable.  Serves a good purpose and Is not meant to be competition for Bitcoin.

Devcoin was created to support developers and fund projects

And it was not created by me, I am not even a devcoin core developer it's just something I support and believe in.
1394  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [800,000 DVC remaining bounty] for Devcoin preliminary testing on: January 07, 2012, 07:39:33 PM
Hey so how does this work is block 25000 the first block that is capable of being merge mined or is it the last one that is not capable?
1395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [DVC] Devcoin Mining Pool Now Open - Merged Mining Coming Soon [DVC] on: January 07, 2012, 06:07:27 PM

1396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [800,000 DVC remaining bounty] for Devcoin preliminary testing on: January 07, 2012, 05:23:47 PM
lol

it is what it is, I understand why everyone is so pissed - I don't blame you but my interest lies in keeping Devcoin alive and I have to try to take the diplomatic route first.

If that does not work we have a plan B.

the reason the Devcoin network is 100ghash is not because of Luke-JR - is because of Plan B.
1397  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [800,000 DVC remaining bounty] for Devcoin preliminary testing on: January 07, 2012, 04:57:11 PM
nice, while I was saying that my pool solved another block Smiley
1398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [800,000 DVC remaining bounty] for Devcoin preliminary testing on: January 07, 2012, 04:52:24 PM
I resent you calling it a scamchain because it cetainly is not

Luke-JR told me he would think about it before he did anything and get back to me

It would be bothersome if he lied, and I like to think that he did not

besides it is highly unlikely the attack would happen before block 25000

because merged mining will not work until that time and you would have to move mining power from the Bitcoin network to the Devcoin network
we have added a great deal of new miners to the network today, the difficulty is high but not astronomically high, my pool is at 7 ghash right now
1399  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [800,000 DVC remaining bounty] for Devcoin preliminary testing on: January 07, 2012, 04:38:43 PM
wow, no one has solved a block on the devcoin network for almost an hour
1400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [800,000 DVC remaining bounty] for Devcoin preliminary testing on: January 07, 2012, 04:14:12 PM
going back to non merged mining mode on the pool until the magic block
