Did you get a letter from Avalon? Or is this post just a joke?
Am I looking like a joker? p.s. We’re going to release our new generation of miners, Avalon 6, towards the end of this year.

If you took the x11 or x13 or any other algorithm and compared the hashing power of a cpu vs GPU it wouldn't even be 1%.
I really don't know if this is just to much for you all to understand or if you just like to troll.
Do you really believe in what you are saying? My Phenom X4 CPU was able to mine Darkcoin (X11 if any) at 200-300 KH/s (I don't remember exact numbers), while R9 290 can do it at 8 and higher MH/s. 40 times faster roughly (40 000%). So who can obtain more profit (and who is the throll now)?

there was some wear an tear on the units but the provided replacement parts and replacement PSU's as needed. Their representative Chloe was very helpful in getting me squared away.
Could they do it before shipping?
|

E-mail sent to them.
Our russian merchants wants 1600+ USD for used A2s. Let's see what can Inno offer.

We don't have a GPU miner, there are a few users with their own private miners.
So they destroys the conception of your coin (GPU hashes much faster than CPU, am I right?) and all you can do is to ask them to share their GPU mining SW?

Very strange price they want to charge for it. 0.4-0.6W/G Judging by the specs at their website it will be around 0.4 W/G but not 0.6. Have you any detailed specs that could explain 0.6 value? Very strange product to release at this point in time.
I would like to buy several units for a reasonable price. 30 USD for each of, for example, 5 units in one parcel + 50-60 USD for shipping. For fun and for office use.

May be one day... Once... They... Will...
|
|
|
The next high POW/POS period begins in 6 weeks and we ask the GPU mining crowd to also share their code with the rest of the AXIOM community and keep our coin strong.
You tried to make a coin GPU-resistant, but it seems that you are not able to do it? Hmm.. In this case please make an official release of GPU miner.

Have anyone calculated real ROI for this Pacmic?

my wallet does not sunc why?
Try to leave it as is and go drink some wine. ) It is connecting to the peers slow enough. May be after 10 minutes it will start syncing?

OUT OF STOCK.
I've lost my chance.
|
|

OK. S5s are out. Bitmain finished replacing S5s with something new at their farms and offers the Pacmic3. We probably will see S7 sales start soon.

I understand it, but as a private buyer I can't imagine why should I ever buy a 78 Gh machine for 240 (+50 or 60 USD for shipping). It's a madness. I can buy S3 for that sum, and it will be 5-6 times faster.

No I have not been contacted in weeks. No replies to my followup emails. So this is pretty much dead in the water for now.
Today's letter: Right now we don't have any Avalon Minis in stock. If you need a large amount of Minis, we can produce these for you in 3 weeks. As for the price, price is determined on the base of quantity. The price for each unit itself (without shipping and any other expenses) will be about $240 USD. My answer to such an inconceivable price: No way. Last price for Bitmain's S5 is 352 USD. If your Avalon4 Mini can only hash at 78 Gh, the price for it should be at least 14,8 times lower than 352 USD, i.e. 24 USD. All right - let it be 30 USD just because it's a new equipment and it's a bit more efficient than S5.

The price. We need to know it. I have been told a review unit around late July will be supplied to me.
I guess there was not any units shipped to you?

I got my miner today it is real and it does perform as advertised
I want to buy it right now. Please share with us how could you get it.

No. This is a storage structure - it's not going to do anything much for computation
Don't forget about proof-of-capacity cryptocurrencies.
