1381  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I managed to invite 1 of my friends to invest in bitcoin on: January 23, 2023, 07:37:02 PM
There was nothing wrong with your performance; you did an excellent job. Because you are a beginner, you must learn more in order to explain things more clearly. For example, you teach him about risk and how he can lose or profit. However, the person is unaware of how to safely store Bitcoin and avoid scams. Nevertheless, you can share whatever knowledge you have. At the very least, by adapting it, you are directly actively helping Bitcoin. If you have any questions, please post them here. It's a good thing you prefer your neighbor join the forum. That means he can now learn about crypto from the forum.
1382  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to know total money been invested in bitcoin on: January 23, 2023, 07:22:04 PM
Bitcoin is an authentically decentralized cryptocurrency. So there is no reason to prevents from accumulating Bitcoin, regardless of the amount. It cannot be traced unless you share your address with another person. Or, even better, use a reputable Bitcoin mixer. When you store your Bitcoin in a non-custodial wallet or a hardware wallet, the government cannot intervene because they cannot regulate it. Only the Blockchain data can reveal which addresses are holding how much Bitcoin. But can't figure out who it is.
1383  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will crypto banks replace traditional banks on: January 23, 2023, 05:58:48 PM
Cryptocurrency continues to play a role in the global economy, but this does not imply that Bitcoin or cryptocurrency will replace traditional fiat banks. The government begins mobile banking and digital banking to change how people manage their assets without going to the bank. Although they do not use cryptocurrency, they do provide a digital experience. Fiat currency will exist and cannot be replaced by cryptocurrency.
1384  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbie Must Be carefull about Ledger live Browser Extension on: January 20, 2023, 07:04:42 PM
Why would a browser extension request a seed that was not generated there? For example, we can create a seed in Metamask and then enter it when we restore our wallet. But why do we need to enter our ledger device seed in order to use Ledger wallet browser extension? This is a fairly common question. If you find this answer, it is almost certainly a scam. That means we have to use our heads when it comes to money. Ignore fake extensions and always download from the official website.
1385  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Genesis Bankrupt, Impact on BTC? on: January 20, 2023, 06:55:09 PM
Yes, I read the news by viewing the headlines. However, it appears that there was little impact on the Bitcoin price. I expected this bankruptcy to have an effect on the Bitcoin chart. However, this type of bankruptcy is undoubtedly harmful to the crypto industry. Last year, there were numerous incidents in the cryptocurrency market. This year, we don't want to see any more drama. Any incident involving the cryptocurrency industry is harmful, whether it is a bankruptcy or a scam.
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How to organise your Bitcoin wealth for a lifetime? on: January 20, 2023, 06:34:14 PM
I'm not sure why your Bitcoin should be organized this way when a hardware wallet provides everything you need. This is not a requirement that you manage a large number of accounts. I do the same thing with fiat; I don't keep money in a single bank account. Because bankruptcy could occur at any time. But when it comes to crypto, I never compromise on security. To store my cryptocurrency, I always use a hardware wallet. So everything is safe and secure there. Unless my seed phrase is compromised, there is no way to steal my cryptocurrency without my hardware wallet.
1387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I had known on: January 20, 2023, 06:28:23 PM
Most of us thought Bitcoin wasn't real money at first. But we gradually learned what Bitcoin is all about. I believe that 6 years is an excessive amount of time to learn and reach a conclusion. You missed a lot of things here, and you were probably too lazy to research. However, thank God you now understand what Bitcoin is. You still have a lot of things to learn. Spend more time on the forum reading than writing. You aren't yet mature for cryptocurrency.
1388  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Are we legally associated with advertised services? on: January 18, 2023, 06:35:33 PM
We are currently renting our signature space on the forum for advertising purposes. We're not coworkers here; it's business, just like they say. As a result, low enforcement should not harass us for providing a service. When a brand advertises on television and the company ends up with Punishment, the TV company should not be punished. But, yes, low can compel us to remove our signatures and stop doing business with them.
1389  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The biggest dramas (noise, FUD) of 2022 in Bitcoin on: January 18, 2023, 05:54:36 PM
Elon Musk's tweets, Luna, and the FTX scam, in my opinion, destroyed the crypto market. We have seen how Bitcoin began down when Elon announced that he had sold Bitcoin and some of his tweets were skeptical of Bitcoin. That hurt Bitcoin and caused it to drop like a rock. The same thing happens when Luna defrauds investors. Following the Luna crash, the market collapsed dramatically. Before recovering it, FTX defrauded their investors' funds. So these three factors make investors nervous. That's why we saw bears in last year. Let's see what else this year brings.
1390  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: It is ok to sell your Bitcoin. on: January 18, 2023, 05:45:54 PM
Hold for life, not for a lifetime, as I always say. What are the benefits of holding assets if you can't make money from them? When I'm holding my wallet, it's my coin. I can sell when I believe it is necessary. I frequently sell my holdings when I make a good profit or when I need cash immediately. Of course, I buyback when I have extra cash and also dipping. This is the standard I use for my holding. Everyone would have a different perspective on their holding; it would not be the same for all holders.
1391  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Start of a Bull Season on Bitcoin? Or a Trap? on: January 18, 2023, 05:39:43 PM
Have you seen the new price? It dropped hard a few hours ago as a result of some bad news about US law enforcement. I believe the growth was natural and not manipulated. If it is manipulation, it will not last long. However, the current crash was caused by bad news. Although there was no good news, Bitcoin experienced significant movement at the start of the new year. But we are unlucky and begin dumping.
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who's your biggest gainer so far ? ( Last 7 days ) on: January 16, 2023, 09:07:23 PM
Except for BNB, I don't have many altcoins. However, it does not appear to have gained much when compared to others. So far, Bitcoin has performed well, but not BNB. I chose BNB because, even when the market crashes, it does not crash hard. That is most likely why it does not pump as hard as it should. I hope it becomes profitable soon.
1393  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Exchanges lie to you! on: January 16, 2023, 09:01:36 PM
That sounds interesting to me. Do you recognize why? Because you stated that 99% of people send their funds to the scammer on their own. And I experienced it. This was also my belief. Nobody will help us unless we help ourselves to protect our funds from scammers. So we are literally sending our money to the scammer's wallet. They are unable to steal from our wallet. And we can't say we have any wallet if we don't have the private keys or the seed phrase. Of course, private keys or seed should not be compromised or given to scammers.
1394  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 1xbit scammed my money on: January 16, 2023, 08:53:50 PM
I laugh when I see 1xbit accusations, and I apologize if I offended you. It's because, despite numerous accusations against them on the internet, you still decide to deposit there. You may now claim that you did not conduct any research and have not seen any accusations. So, how do you think other people will notice your thread? You stated that you brought this thread to the public's attention. But you had no idea there were more public attention threads that you had missed and been deceived by. BTW, please do your own research before depositing money anywhere. If you have already been deceived, there is no cure.
1395  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A good way to promote Bitcoin or not? on: January 16, 2023, 08:39:20 PM
If Bitcoin is legal in your country, this is a wonderful way to promote it. You can write something like "Bitcoin accepted here, pay in Bitcoin get 10% discount". Those who acknowledge Bitcoin will pay you in Bitcoin. Those who are unfamiliar with Bitcoin will be inspired by it. If this is the case, they may inquire about Bitcoin and conduct their own Google search. This indicates that you are directly adapting Bitcoin. On the other hand, it will assist in the expansion of your business. People will talk about you accepting Bitcoin and spread the word. As a result, you may gain more customers.
1396  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Influencers, affiliate links and scams on: January 16, 2023, 08:30:41 PM
Do you believe so-called influencers are concerned about investors? Do you believe their followers are genuine? I don't believe it, and I wouldn't believe them either. Yes, they may have some genuine followers, but when those followers are deceived by his affiliate links, they will unfollow that influencer. It's quite simple. As a result, we can conclude that they do not have genuine followers. Influencers are paid by the team as well as by affiliates. So they don't need to worry about his followers because he only cares about money.
1397  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't be greedy – a short goose story on: January 15, 2023, 08:12:32 PM
Though it is an old story, it is always relevant. I first heard and read this story as a child. Greed is bad for everything, not just crypto. It also destroys the soul and life. I've written similar things about scams many times. Only when we are greedy will we be deceived. The majority of hacking incidents are caused by greed. As a result, we must be realistic. To earn cryptocurrency, you should take a straightforward approach. This really isn't a shortcut.
1398  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin helps the economy of all circles on: January 15, 2023, 07:49:19 PM
We have forgotten what the original goals of Bitcoin were. We like Bitcoin because of its high volatility. Those who believe Bitcoin will make them rich quickly are mistaken. Because some people expect to become millionaires overnight. However, Bitcoin has become a part of the global economy, despite government opposition. As a result, Bitcoin has a minor impact on the global economy, and the global economy has a direct impact on Bitcoin. It all comes down to investor sentiment.
1399  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I'm planning on hosting a BTC seminar and a friend also followed my path on: January 15, 2023, 07:00:48 PM
Well-done. This is a straightforward Bitcoin adaptation. I believe I commented on your previous post, but I can't recall. As I previously stated, more people will be interested in Bitcoin once it is accepted as a payment method in real life. And I'm glad to see it's happening. A seminar is a good idea. More people will become intimately familiar with Bitcoin. It's also beneficial to your business because you can brand your company while also promoting Bitcoin. Keep it up; we need more Bitcoin adaptation that is genuine adaptation. Lecture on the goal of Bitcoin and why Satoshi created it, including technical knowledge such as wallets and so on. As a result, people will learn more about Bitcoin.
1400  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Just lost $4000 because of addresses starting with "bc1p" on: January 15, 2023, 06:52:16 PM
I look over the addresses I copied. Starting and ending with a few digits or letters. It is to verify the address, not to determine the type of address. You must choose the type of address where you will deposit or you should be aware of the type of address by looking at the address. If you sent funds to the wrong type of address, you will lose them if you do not have access to the wallet. But I still don't understand how you lost your money.
