Last price should be renamed to slightly random last price.
1383  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: New ASIC Cedartec on: March 28, 2013, 12:01:45 AM
A community burned one times too many now resorting to calling everything they see a scam is unhealthy. We all want proof in the form of GH/s and trusted community members getting their hands on these but don't you think it's a little god damn early to yell scam?

It's clear no one is going to go and pre-order without proof. A website and a render of a box doesn't enthuse me either but I'll wait before I pass judgement.
We see those thread every weeks since Avalon shipped. They all turned out to be a scam.

1387  Economy / Economics / Re: Can some one share his feelings after buying 1k BTC today? on: March 27, 2013, 10:46:38 PM
So much misunderstanding in this thread, I don't know where to begin so I'm leaving.
1388  Economy / Economics / Re: Can some one share his feelings after buying 1k BTC today? on: March 27, 2013, 10:44:00 PM
I bought some at $5-7 and now my feeling is not bad but I all the time I know that it can crash back.
And probably I will manage to quit not lossing too much.

But seeing todays prices makes me too nervous especieally when I imagine myself buying now and facing tomorrow big crash to ~5.

Of course I am exaggerating but you know, noone knows for sure.

so if it is possible to share your experience, please share it.

thanks

upd: sorry maybe it is more appropriate to speculation.

I Cashed out all my current BTC at $74.11 and I am a little sad that I sold seeing the prices at almost $90 today but I smell hyperinflation and a bubble bursting soon.... I called the housing bust in ~2005 and told my dad to sell, I also called the Google, IPO going nut, and the Apple downturn, and I do this with out looking at fancy charts, I use my Gut, and so far in my life its lead me well.... I PRAY I didnt cash out on Bitcoins, and this $86 is what we expect to be a cheap price for coins in the future.
Hyperinflation of the dollar yeah
1389  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Paypal troubles? on: March 27, 2013, 12:07:53 PM

How long can I chargeback if I paid via PayPal and Visa? Is 120 or 180 days a good guess?

Obviously if I do so, I will contact BFL support first...
1393  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: BFL Paypal troubles? on: March 26, 2013, 10:04:34 PM
You are not the first to create a dispute in the last month. They are probably investigating the higher than average chargeback issues with BFL.

Hemp and marijuana are two different things. Its like raisins and graps you cant make grape juice with a raisin, and you cant get stoned off of hemp.
He's not wrong. I studied botanic and they both are the exact same plant (only the genome differ) : Cannabis sativa. There is also Cannabis indica and Cannabis ruderalis but it's like comparing black and white human and saying they are not the same species : Homo sapiens.

Very nice read. Great philosophy!

PR is the worst in the industry. Josh actually don't know what PR means.
Unfair business practice to weed-out competition.

That's all.  Wink

This is a good presage.  Cheesy

I have not checked hemp seed prices recently. Where I can get decent and cheap outdoor seeds, except darknet shops? I used the seeds from ganja purchased locally, but now the local market have shifted to synthetic cannabis like Spice that obviously have no seeds. It is very hard to find weed that have live seeds in it.
Hemp has low THC content and it's only suitable for food, fibre or fuel. If you are looking for cannabis with high THC content, here is a list of reputed seed banks : http://www.cannabisculture.com/seeds

I don't want to do the complete math but I can tell you this :

Average indoor yield is between 0.5g to 1.5g per watt of lightning every 60 days depending on genetic, technique and experience. Usual lamp are 1000W high pressure sodium light.

Calculate initial investment cost, maintenance cost and market value. Highly profitable but comes with high stress level.

No doubt that growing weed is more profitable in most jurisdiction. Then you can sell the crop for BTC and hold.  Cool
