1381  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 12, 2023, 07:13:03 AM
A lot of people on this forum seemingly gamble with the main objective being to get these sorts of bonuses, so I imagine the more frequent the bonuses, the more members will be trying to earn them.  So long as it's profitable and you have the free development time to continue offering special events, it seems like a win-win for everyone.  I think people must actually enjoy chasing the bonuses, like a sort of game, otherwise they wouldn't be so popular.  So if it's making people money and everyone is having fun, why not toss as many out there as you have time to?
This has a point. Creating bonuses are part of a working business so you can actually create as many as you can depending on your casino bankroll, and as long as players will keep their interest to it as players will always love chasing bonuses to earn more profits. But of course, although it’s a win-win scenario, casino should always have the highest edge than its players.
I agree. Many users already gave their replies so probably op already have an idea what to add on their platform to satisfy their gamblers. More bonus, rakeback, promotions or anything that can attract the gamblers are a good way to keep them playing. In my case I like seeing a casino with a weekly promotion, and you'll be eligible for the reward if you reach the wagering requirement. It can tempt the player to keep playing especially if the reward is good enough. There's a casino who have this kind of promotion before and it's a success since many gamblers are joining.
1382  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: January 12, 2023, 06:18:14 AM
I am new here on forum and I want to share my problem

Actually, you're not that new here.. according to your post history, you've been spamming this thread with same text for 8 months now:

I am new here on forum and I want to share my problem
Because he's still hoping 1xbit will resolve the issue. But obviously it's not possible since this case happened months ago and he is just being ignored. Imagine when he lose his money, everything is fine, but when he tried to withdraw, 1xbit refused. If you're in his shoes how would you feel? Well, knowing the reputation of 1xbit, cases similar to this is not new. That's why many accusations remain unresolved because they don't have the will to address it. So be aware newbies don't play on this platform.
1383  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: January 11, 2023, 07:42:06 AM
Ma tra2ce na tayong lahat panigirado dahil jan.  Siguro ito yung planB doon sa rumours na dapat injeckan lahat ng tao ng chips  for a reason." iwan ko kung anu yon basta yung time ng covid yun". IMV lang ha. Lol
1384  Other / Archival / Re: who played here? on: January 11, 2023, 04:49:29 AM
This guy have requested about the existence and the trust of the casino and went away. He hasn't mentioned anything on the conclusion reached. Why people look for such casinos when we've got a good list of trusted platforms for gambling. Same as this we can see more threads being created and this too a way to make people discuss about the platform as well to give a try. In all way people getting trapped can't be saved, if they're ready for it.
a Shill account maybe? though it has been mentioned above and I believe that he denied that fact yet who will believe about that when it is obvious the intention is to promote this site here?
That's possible. The site he mentioned is not familiar to the gamblers here and if his intention is to ask a casino/sportsbook with such odds then he can ask without the need to shill the unfamiliar site. Well, we used to this kind of tactic to promote a new site thus many of us are already aware of what casino to trust. What's the point of trying an unfamiliar casino if we have plenty of trusted casinos here that we can choose from, right?
1385  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 11, 2023, 01:28:10 AM
I heard lots of stories online that there are people who are making a living in sports betting, and honestly it really inspires me that's why I'm still gambling now. So I'm just curious, do we have members of the forum here that are making a living in sports betting? Can they share some inputs on how to be successful like them?

I hope they will share so we will know if it's really possible. I mean, as the saying goes, casinos always win because they have the advantage, so how come people are making a living in sports betting?
It's possible that there might be gamblers out there who are earning a living through sports betting because they're knowledgeable of what they are doing to possibly use it as their main source of income. However, even sports betting is not relying alone in luck (since knowledge and strategy are necessary in order win) still, it has risk because it's gambling.

Therefore, if you're a gambler, it's enough that you are somehow winning when you bet and not treating it as your source to make a living. Having another job that can give you a stable income is still much wiser since you're not depending on luck just like in gambling.
1386  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We have been told: Invest only Extra money in bitcoin on: January 10, 2023, 08:07:23 AM
Because that's how it should be, only invest an extra money that you can afford to lose since there's no guarantee of gaining no matter how promising and profitable Bitcoin can be. We still don't know what lies ahead hence its just right to invest your extra and don't have high hopes. Imagine if you invest the money meant for important things and needed already after a month and then the price of Bitcoin is not what you expected it to be, probably you'll already sell even at loss since you have no choice but to get the money that you invested.

But when you invest extra that you don't rely on, you can wait even it takes longer and that's the difference of the both scenarios. So what would be the best choice? If you can't afford investing at this moment but you're determine to do so, then do something to make it possible.
1387  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: January 10, 2023, 04:17:24 AM
Is OP ever coming back?
After asking the question, he abandoned this thread and never made any post after. It seems he is not even interested to read the suggestions here so I don't think he will come back.

But it seems this thread is also helpful to the new comers of the forum that are gamblers at the same time.
Helpful if they take time reading the informative replies and the most recommended casinos of the gamblers. This can prevent them from playing in shady casinos with a bad reputation.
1388  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 10, 2023, 01:58:36 AM
~
~I'm sure they prefer to operate the account by themselves without having to think about security and risks that can be accepted at any time.
Maybe this happened because they thought that their funds were few and impossible for someone to hack.

A security measure in any platform should be taken into measure considerably. Nevertheless, a platform like a gambling site should not make a 2-factor authentication setting being enforced as mandatory.

A unique complex strong password is enough for those gamblers, it won't be possible for a hacker to aggressively brute force any account since another layer of security measures will prevent such a scenario from happening. This is one of the reasons why many digital security recommendations are suggesting using a strong and unique password on every site.
I agree. That's why it is advisable to use a strong password to protect our account. As I have said in my earlier post, i'm not using a 2fa in my account since I dont leave huge funds there (often, it has a few dollars only for my next gambling session). I'm just using a strong password and a different ones for my other accounts like my email add so incase something went wrong, it won't be easy for the hacker to invade my other accounts.
1389  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 09, 2023, 08:09:13 AM

There are people who keep their money with casinos but they should be legit but they also cash out the winning keeping up the flow and yes keeping it for long term maybe risky as some problems may occur restricting you to withdraw the money from your account. So my choice is to cash out winning keeping small amount to wager on normal basis.

I do the same, I always make that there is a small amount on the casino so I have some funds to gamble but I will always cash out if the sum gets too high. The only site, I have a quite high amount on is freebitco.in because of the interest.
Regardless how big and trusted the platform, if it is centralized, it would be wise to not keep a huge amount in your account because unexpected thing can always happen. Therefore leaving a small amount to gamble is a good decision (i'm doing the same thing as well) since it's also easy to deposit if you want to start playing with huge funds. But don't use your account as wallet as it is not advisable unless you're frequently playing as an active gambler for the specific casino.
1390  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A superstitious strategy? on: January 09, 2023, 05:16:21 AM
Now, let's be some superstitious and say, if you play only when luck appears to be on your side, would you call that a good strategy?
For me no, it can't be called strategy since you'll never know when will luck can possibly hit you. What if you started playing with losses and just gave up early not knowing your luck to win is just around the corner (of course we can't be certain about this) how would you know this if you already stop playing? That's why it's not a strategy and just a common sense for every gamblers to continue playing if they're in winning streak and vice versa.
1391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 09, 2023, 04:10:46 AM
Remember the first lesson you learned as a beginner trader? Did it come from a loss or a win?
When I was a beginner, I have someone who taught and guide me as a trader and I think that's my advantage compared to other beginners who learned on their own. However, because of my over confidence to think I know everything already, my first experience is a loss (good thing I used small amount on my first try). That's how I realized my mistakes on why it happened. It's really true that losses will teach you something to do better next time and for me it's not that bad since the bad experience gave me an idea and knowledge on how things work if you're doing an actual trading.
1392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 09, 2023, 01:41:34 AM
Having greed is good, its the stupid mistakes that make you lose money. Greed is wanting more money, holding more than you should is not "greed", its a mistake, if you know what you are doing then you would sell at the top and buy at the bottom and make more money aka be greedy.

So all in all, do not make all the mistakes confused with each other, because emotions in trading world is very dangerous and mistaking which emotion is which could be even worse and that's an important thing.
You made mistake because of your greed to hold more and I see no difference. If you want more then that means you're greedy and it's not just a mistake because you're the one who decide to take that risk, hoping to gain. Well, it's a human nature to be greedy, because who don't want to earn more than you should right? But we need to control ourselves and think of the present. If you already earn then take profit already, buy back and hold. It just depends on our strategy on how to take advantage the opportunity for our own benefit.
1393  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 08, 2023, 08:59:54 AM
<snip>
As far as I know, if the casino has 2fa feature, most of the time it is optional when it comes to logging in. On the other hand, though I had experienced some which has 2FA in withdrawal transactions, for some, it is not mandatory. But for me this one should be always mandatory since this is a withdrawal. On top of if, I think casino can make it mandatory but probably they had chosen to be on the "user preference" side, so they did not.
In Roobet this is optional, you can still use their casino even 2fa is disable. However, once you need to withdraw your funds, you need to enable the 2fa because it is mandatory for withdrawal transaction. Well, 2fa is a good layer of security, but I opted not to use this in the casinos where I play unless necessary. Because I don't leave funds in my account so I do not worry. But of course it is advisable for our own protection.
1394  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 08, 2023, 07:30:05 AM
I have to admit that I hardly ever gamble, and when I do it is usually national lottery or sports (football). The motives to do so are, on one hand, entertainment and, on the other hand, the little hope you feel until the draw takes place.

^These should be gamblers' motives why they gamble, it is given priority to entertainment over making money which is now everyone's mindset, they gamble because of making money or the worst part is that gambling the made because of a way of living. If everyone's motives are like this, there are no gambling addicts right now, there is no crime made because of gambling. That is why we are very lucky here because we know already how to avoid possible addictions. Gambling is supposed to be for fun and nothing else, we should not expect any in gambling when it comes to financial, set amount of money that you can afford to lose is always a reminder here.

That's how it should be but I don't think it's possible for everyone since many gamblers are not playing solely to entertain themselves. The profit to win huge is probably the main reason why many gamblers are attracted to gamble their money even they can't afford to lose it and because of this it can lead to addiction for chasing the losses or the eagerness to achieve the goal of winning huge. So when the gambler started playing with a motive to win and didn't think of the consequences incase his expectation didn't happened then it can cause serious problem.
1395  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you experienced this kind of gambling on: January 08, 2023, 05:04:22 AM
Have heard of people waking up to go play draws on numbers they probably saw in their dreams while they were sleeping, and another where certain persons also place their belief on getting draws from mad persons on the streets (a situation where they buy food for the said mad man who in turn writes down numbers that would play draw on pool that very weekend), of which in most cases these numbers tend to play.
But in my whole time as a gambler and even amongst my gambling friends I have never heard of gambling based on jerseys number sign due to how repeatedly they flash on TV. It's quite weird though but I understand that gamblers can pull out every strategy possible just to get winnings anyway!  No matter the strategy anyone uses, what really matters is winning's.

Pretty common in communities and countries suffering from poverty, or low quality of education. In the Philippines alone it is considered lucky to bet on the dates of your close relatives/children and spouse if there's any on the country's major lottery. They thought these numbers have a bigger significance than just being plain dates where their children were born, thid leads them to bet and bet until they finally win or they die, with the latter being the obvious case. It's a curse of having a pattern-loving brain like humans. Back then it allowed us to be safe in the wild, now these heuristics and biases hold us down by forcing us to cling upon correlation without causalities.

I believe a lot have such kind of belief connecting to certain events just like what you said, maybe birthdays of close family members.
It is sometimes the way of thinking that somehow affect their decision of betting on it, the belief that there's significance or connection on them.
However, if we will look at it logically, there's no such thing as connection but rather a coincidence if someone got lucky to hit those numbers.
Just like the jersey numbers, it is because the mind of some wanted to believe something for what is really not. They want to cling on such belief.
You're right. There are people who are using a numbers connected from events of their lives to bet and usually it's for lottery thus this not new to me. But as you've said it's just a coincidence and it has no connection to the actual winning numbers. If you win using these numbers then good, but keep in mind that this strategy is not guaranteed and still depends on your luck if you're destined to win.
1396  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Crypto Casino on: January 08, 2023, 03:51:03 AM
i was playing and spend some dollar and was watching the whole month and there no one winning !!
I do play in crypto casinos and my favorite are live games (baccarat and blackjack), sometimes i'm playing plinko and slots, depending on my mood. There are times i'm lucky but usually not. Anyway, that's gambling so better to have less expectation.

What games are you playing specifically?
1397  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: January 08, 2023, 02:05:32 AM
How did your loss happened as like site was scammed or you lost by played any game?  There are many trusted sites are operational in the casino platform, i have seen a few sites are running in the last few years, as like Rollbit, Fortunejack, Roobet, Duelbits and Roobet, and many more these are highly reputed.

No matter what’s the cause of losing the money, it’s always advised to avoid new casinos until and unless it’s operated by someone very popular. These new casinos trap gamblers by giving eye catching promotions and bonuses for which the gambler deposit big and later on face the scams. These are very common for new gamblers and thats why we see threads like this. The list you have mentioned are good, but you are forgetting the OG casinos here. PrimeDice and Stake are the best and reputable casinos now present in the market. So yes if you want to gamble then play here fearlessly.
I agree. It's advisable for new gamblers to choose a reputable casinos because they're already estabished and unlikely to scam their gamblers. The problem is, many new gamblers are not exerting an effort to research first, the reason why they end up in scam casinos and then will realized their mistake after experiencing the worse. Hence, to avoid this from happening, always be careful on choosing what casino you'll play. This forum is full of information of trusted casinos where we can play. Many users already gave their recommendation thus I hope op won't experience to lose his money again through scam platform.
1398  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: January 08, 2023, 01:14:50 AM
A personal computer or laptop costs around as much as a mobile phone. So I am not sure where exactly you get off on calling me rich. Also, I am not a kid. I think that either you are perhaps the kid who has yet to enter the world of working adults and therefor does not understand that buying a laptop or mobile phone is not such a huge, life-changing deal, even in poor countries. Hell, if you were really desperate, you could buy a very cheap, old used one and it would work just fine.

Playing on a small screen, is uncomfortable. No matter how you look at it.
I would say it all depends on your personal choice that how you want to gamble like for me Mobile phone do the job well but I would say in most of the countries laptop/desktop are expensive compared to mobile phones and all can't afford to buy them so they prefer gambling on their phones only.
This discussion is basically talking about peoples preferences and not understanding each other, but we should not go towards bashing others preferences neither.

I do find mobile phones to be not too easy to use for gambling too, but I am not going to say that it's terrible for everyone neither because that's not true, half of the world prefers to gamble on their phone which means it's fine for them and I am happy for them, do whatever you want to do and not what I think is better or not, I will do what I think is best for me. People need to find the difference between saying "I prefer this way" and "this is the better way" because those two sentences are very different.
Well said. If you don't prefer using mobile phone when you gamble because of your own reasoning, it doesn't mean it's not good as well for other gamblers. As you have said it depends on what we prefer.

Like me, i'm using desktop and mobile when I gamble and both have their own conveniences, desktop has a wide screen and can give better experience so it's more enjoyable. While in mobile you can play anywhere as long as there's a connection and ideal to those who are often away from home. Moreover, many casinos are mobile friendly so it's not a problem even it has a small screen.

I have quit smoking a long time ago because of its health consequences. But since I met him, I have felt guilty that I am responsible for my friend's downfall.
You should not be guilty because it's not your fault. He end up in that situation because it is his choice. Well, it's a human nature to blame someone for the unfortunate things that happened in our lives because we can't accept that it is us who drive ourselves to where we are now. Because if you don't like to end up in such situation then why you didn't control yourself right? Even someone convince you to do this or do that, you will not follow it if you know it's not good for yourself.
1400  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Stay away from BONK on: January 06, 2023, 11:00:01 AM
It's now falling. People will never learn about the past mistakes they did with meme coins, now, I guess that there will be new series' of these types of hype, pump, and dump coins again.
Those that are new are likely to fall for this but those that have seen it come and go will mostly ignore it. I saw have learned the lesson from the past and they're not buying it because they know that it will fall as soon as possible. It will not be surprising if this coin will have lesser volume within the next days.
Even some investors already experienced to lose their money for investing in shitcoins in the past, they will not learn if they're still greedy to earn instantly even it's risky. So it's not surprising if many investors fall in this trap to ride the soaring price. But yes it's now falling so those who bought at peaked are probably worrying now. Bonk is a shitcoin and you'll know it if you did a research and not just by relying on the price that had a drastic increased that's why you invest. Again, DYOR and don't invest blindly.
