I can't confirm if this still works - or if this option is even available - since I don't have a Coinbase account. But it's worth a try: Found this thread from Google. Thought I would help. I was motivated to get this feature working for the Byteball link with bitcoin for their giveaway. After some "hacking" of Coinbase's sign message feature I finally got it to work. It is pretty simple:
- Use chrome (other's would work, but instructions for chrome) - Go to where you are asked to enter your message to sign. - right click on the "Sign Message" button and click on inspect. - look for the "<form" tag above the button element that is highlighted in the developer tools. - on that tag you will see an attribute called "action" with a value of "/addresses/xxxxxxxxxxxx" (whatever the number is for you). - simply double click that address to edit it and add "/sign" after the number to complete the action address. - that's it. The form will work.
Stupid bug for a site like coinbase imho.
Enjoy!

Let's say you have bitcoins on the legacy chain, (BTCaddress1)
As a result, you got whatever amount of bitcoins held there in the BCash chain, (BTCaddress2)
Finally, you didn't move your coins from there, come November and you get whatever amounts of bitcoins held on BTCaddress1 in 2x's chain (BTCaddress3).
Notice that BTCaddress1, BTCaddress2 and BTCaddress3 are all the same address because the jackasses doing forks don't even bother in having their own address formats.
Anyway, my question is... does this pose any risk when I try to access one of them? what would be the correct way to access BCash and 2x without screwing up in the process? im not sure since it's a triple match...
There is no risks. What may be dangerous, is the lack of replay protection. Having the same address format itself isn't a problem at all. To access each coin, you just need to import your private-key in a compatible wallet. Example: Electrum for legacy Bitcoin, Electron Cash for Bitcoin Cash and a compatible one for B2X.

Millions of player are active in steam platform, steam also accepts bitcoin for years but still many people don't purchase games there with bitcoin because either they have no idea about how bitcoin works or they are just happy with usual payment methods they are using.
Same thing can happen to amazon users too even after they will accept bitcoin payments, but if this will be true than people from underdeveloped or developing countries can also have international shopping experience, paypal is still not available in many countries so they can't shop online in international marketplaces like amazon right now.
Increasing the adoption of Bitcoin or not, people only care about how much they are going to profit. It doesn't change the fact that people will hype up the news and buy as many Bitcoins they can, increasing the market price. Almost everything in the cryptocurrencies world is going to work like this... Even if in the end it's not going to change anything. But still, there are more Bitcoin users that are/want to be a Amazon customer, than people who buy Bitcoin and tend to buy Steam games.

hi TryNinja
I withdrew today a small amount from blockchain and total fees 0.0001017 BTC What is the value of fees for a transaction from blockchain for large amount? Is it the same small amount?
It doesn't matter how much you sent. Only the size of your transaction - which depends on the amount of inputs and outputs your transaction has. First, calculate[1] or preview your transaction size. See which fee (in sat/byte) is reasonable for the actual network situation[2] and multiply it for the size of your transaction (in bytes). Looks like you received a lot of dust payments in your wallet. There is really nothing you can do other than try to send all your balance back to you with a super low fee that should take a couple days to confirm. This will consolidate all your inputs into 1 output, making your future transactions A LOT cheaper, since the transaction dize will be lower.

Yes, you can.
You only sent Bitcoins to BitTrex (Bitcoin Gold doesn't even exist yet). If you had those coins in your wallet before the BTG snapshot, you will get them after the network goes live.
Just calm down and wait for instructions after the fork.

ChipMixer is innovative and efficient. As their slogan says: "Mixing reinvented for your privacy" Take a look: What makes ChipMixer special?
ChipMixer creates Bitcoin addresses (chips) and funds them with specific sizes. There are chips with 0.001 BTC, 0.002 BTC, 0.004 BTC and so on till 4.096 BTC. When you deposit your Bitcoins, you receive same amount in chips. For example you deposit 0.112 BTC and you receive 0.064 + 0.032 + 0.016. Each chip was funded before your deposit, so there is no link between them and your deposit on blockchain. They are already anonymous. With each chip, you receive its private key, so you can spend them any time you want.

Hi everyone, please bear with me, super and I mean SUPER green here. So I signed up on coinbase last week and bought my first bitcoin ever. I locked a price on 10/24. It still hasn't been put in my account, should be tomorrow. The question is, do I get a BCG because my transaction date was before the fork? And if coinbase doesn't support BCG, how will I know? And if I do get one, how do I actually 'get' it? TIA for responses, first of many I'm sure What matters is in which address the coins were before the blockchain snapshot. If your coins were in your Coinbase account, the BTG coins will be credited to Coinbase's address. Which means that you will only be able to redeem your coins if Coinbase decides to support Bitcoin Gold (very unlikely). Wait for Coinbase's statement after the fork. If they choose to support BTG, you will receive instructions on how to claim them. If they don't, there is nothing you can do.

@Lauda, have you looked at my request? Hello Lauda.
Please change my payment address to iHZyubnxS3JhkM27WnNpiRmKRiLYca1NmW as I lost access to my old one.

The website looks inactive since 2015. No news or tweets posted since 2 years ago. There is really nothing we can do against them. I don't even think they have a BitcoinTalk account.
Users should be more careful and research on more than one website before trusting a link from an unknown website in the internet.

Which wallet are you using? In Electrum, the "replacable" indicator means that you kept the "Replaceable" checkbox marked, enabling replace-by-fee. This just means that you can "resend" the same transaction with a higher fee later on if your transaction takes too long to get confirmed. Read more about this here[1]. The 0.000051 BTC sent is probable the change from your transaction. There is nothing to worry about since the coins were sent to another address you should control. Read more about this here[2]. Yes, you can easily get your USDT back. 1. Get your address private key. If you don't know how to do that: - a. Go to the Addresses tab (If it's not showing up: View -> Show Addresses).
- b. Right click the address you sent the USDT tokens to and select Private Key.
2. Go to OmniWallet.org3. Click the "Create wallet" button and follow the steps. 4. When logged in, go to My Wallet -> My Addresses -> Add Address -> Import Address with Private key. 5. Paste there your private key from step 1. 6. Now you should be able to see the USDT tokens and spend them.

If I were to switch to Mycelium mobile wallet, I can just download the app from App store and key in my 12 seed phrases and it works? Or do I need to do or change something on my Electrum wallet first before I switch to Mycelium forever?
There is no easy way to import your Electrum wallet into Mycelium, since both seeds are not compatible with each other. If possible, I suggest you to just move all your coins to a new Mycelium wallet and start using it for your new transactions.

If I were to only use only one wallet (for mobile), which one of these do you guys recommend?
I am currently using Electrum wallet for mobile and I notice that the transaction fee to send bitcoin is really high. For normal speed (within 5 blocks) it cost 0.0023 btc/kb. Even if I push my slider to the most left (within 25 block) it is 0.0017 btc/kb which is really high in my opinion. Is it just me or does everyone see the same fee?
Should I change to mycelium because of the high fees by Electrum?
If Electrum doesn't let you choose a lower fee for your transaction, move to Mycelium. They don't let you "fully" customize your fees but it's still better than the 10 fee options Electrum let you manually choose for your fees. Just keep in mind that Mycelium is also not the best wallet for custom fees, since you can't write the exactly fee you want to pay. Looking at my Mycelium wallet right now, looks like the lowest fee I can choose for my transactions is 0, 1, 22 and 44 sat/byte - which should be enought to save some money but don't stuck your transaction forever.

Post here the Letter of Guarantee you receive when you started the mixing proccess or you are lying. BitBlender already has over 3 years of existence and I doubt they would scam you for 25 Bitcoins.
You must have fallen for a phising version of BitBlender - along with the other 3 users I saw this last few months saying that BitBlender scammed them just to reveal afterwards that they "clicked the wrong url".

I also use Blockonomics.co simple by the fact that they allow you to track multiple addresses from a HD wallet - like the one from Electrum - just by using the wallet xPub. Here is how the e-mail notification looks like:

AFAIK it's happening at block 494784 which is expected to be found on November 18.
P.s: You posted in the wrong board.

I recently sent BTC from my account at local bitcoins to my KeepKey wallet. Unfortunately I sent it to a BCH account. I own the address that it was sent to. What should I do to recover the BTC?
Get the private key out for that address and import it into a wallet such as electroncash[1] in order to be able to recover it. 1. https://electroncash.org/#downldRead again. OP said that he sent BTC to a BCH address, and not the other way around. Electron Cash is a Electrum fork for Bitcoin Cash. You can't see or spend Bitcoins with it. OP: download Electrum[1], and when creating your wallet choose: Standard Wallet -> Use publir or private keys -> Paste your private key and click Next. Send your Bitcoins to your correct address and it's done. [1] https://electrum.org/
