141  Local / Economia & Mercado / Re: Quantum - Arbitragem Automatizada - ATENÇÃO, LEIA TUDO ANTES DE INVESTIR on: May 06, 2019, 06:58:46 PM
Alguma novidade revelada? Eu não sei nem o que a Atlas promete fazer no momento. Ela dizia fazer arbitragem. Mas hoje faz trade de altcoins também?
142  Local / Brasil / Re: Edição ABRIL/2019 - Relatório do Mercado Brasileiro de Bitcoin pela bitValor on: May 06, 2019, 04:22:25 PM

Trabalho deles pra buscar e atrair "a primeira compra" é excepcional.
143  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-04-24] Binance Promises Decentralized Future Powered by Crypto With Launch on: May 05, 2019, 10:49:19 PM
It is not decentralized, and I do not believe that an exchange, whose purpose is profit, can create one. As already put, non-custodial is the correct word. And I believe this is a huge breakthrough. A huge part of the problems with exchanges is not due to the centralized book, nor the fees. But to the total control that the exchanges have on the Bitcoin of its users. No one knows for sure if they have enough liquidity and safety is always failing at some point.

Bringing to Bitcoin a good part of the banks' problems.

145  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: new marketing approach [OPINION] on: May 05, 2019, 08:04:42 PM
You only have ways to contact them, but do you know who they are?
Do you know the country of origin, income, if they already invest in cryptos, if they have companies related to this etc?

You could have 1/100 of these emails, they would be much more valuable if they had data about these people. You can find thousands of emails and social contacts just by searching through the user lists of various leaked exchanges. These emails are constantly being used for spam.

You will have greater and better chances if you have more information about these users.
146  Other / Meta / Re: Cryptios on: May 05, 2019, 07:55:43 PM
You have put the specialties of the company, and that they are taking care of the recovery of the accounts. But it was not clear, at least for me, what other services they are providing to the forum. Is it possible to list all the services they are providing? Is there any possibility of them not only recovering accounts but stopping accounts that were hacked before the legitimate owners complained?
147  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Video rooms and Bitcoins - please try and review on: May 05, 2019, 07:35:25 PM
Why are you using "coins" instead of using Bitcoin directly? And you have nowhere the reference price of Bitcoin and the altcoins that you are using to converting to the dollar. I am getting the impression that you just put the word crypto in a project that already existed.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Oldest youtube video talking about bitcoin on: May 05, 2019, 05:46:24 PM
Is there any possibility that the upload date has been changed? The video description has been edited. Maybe the video was also, but if it was not, it is curious that he had so soon thought of putting a qr code for donations.
149  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Wallet for Android on: May 02, 2019, 03:49:10 PM
people not only had ideas about creating a wallet for android, as they have created. And today there are several wallets. What you might want to say is a BitcoinCore wallet full node? I do not see that need. The market is already supplying this demand.

150  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be satisfied with steady, gradual rise of BTC price? on: May 02, 2019, 03:30:38 PM
Nope,

I think the best opportunities occur when Bitcoin go up and down like a crazy bull. I remember when I first bought some, the price have gone down and took years to recover. It should be always like this. So only the strongest will have the balls to hodl.
151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: NEW Video Commercial promoting Bitcoin was just released today!! on: May 02, 2019, 03:25:46 AM
So they want to re-brand Bitcoin and turn it into a new gold. It is certainly the simplest way a marketer has to sell Bitcoin. I do not know if that is enough, but it is something that draws attention and can attract more qualified investors who could over time come to think of one or the other.

152  Other / Meta / Re: Cleanup on isle 234 - Many (assumed) hacked accounts for sale on: May 02, 2019, 03:04:55 AM
I do not think negative trust is enough in these situations. If you put a negative trust on a user saying that he sells KYC and documents that were stolen, and that user offers exactly that service, you're just attesting the quality of that service.

I believe that in these situations the mods must interfere. Trust negative or positive are not enough. And letting the forum become a market for selling stolen documents and other services that are illegal in any country can have serious implications for the forum.
153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Using multiple MatLab curve fittings on Bitcoin historical price data on: May 02, 2019, 02:41:35 AM
Interesting. But eventually, all the comparisons with the past, will suggest that Bitcoin will be worth more than it was worth and that the growth will be constant. But the risk, is not in knowing when it will be worth more than ATH. The risk is whether it will be worth more than it is today and for how long it will stay far away from zero.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is this a good idea? on: May 01, 2019, 10:55:01 PM
There are thousands of websites and people selling shirts related to Bitcoin. Just look on ebay. Almost 20 thousand results. On google are millions of sites offering this product. Of course, accepting payment using Bitcoin alone can be something that catches your eye. But many other online stores already do. Including stores that accept LN.

Of course, accepting payment using Bitcoin alone can be something that catches your eye. But many other online stores already do. Including stores that accept LN.

It is not an innovative business. What can make the difference is your commercial ability and your creativity.
155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BNB accused of money laundering for terrorist and market manipulation-->DUMP? on: May 01, 2019, 10:39:24 PM
Calvin Ayre has a very clear purpose in spreading false accusations like that. And he will probably force this narrative for some time. How can anyone give importance to a guy who puts BitcoinSV as true Bitcoin and financially supports FakeSatoshi's fraud? For me, anything he says has as a big goal to take money from someone. And he does not mind lying and cheating other people.

CoinMarketCap to Remove Exchanges From Calculations If They Don’t Provide Mandatory Data

Quote
Crypto market cap tracker CoinMarketCap (CMC) will remove exchanges from its calculations if they fail to provide mandatory data by June, the firm wrote in its sixth anniversary blog post on May 1.

CoinMarketCap, a major source of data about all traded digital currencies, has made a series of announcements to celebrate its sixth birthday today.

As such, CMC has announced a brand new alliance called the Data Accountability & Transparency Alliance (DATA) in order to provide “greater transparency, accountability, and disclosure from projects in the crypto space.”

Many things are improving in relation to statistics related to cryptos. Today we have many competitors, but the CMC still has to be the leader with a big advantage for second place. It is unbelievable that he accepted for so long to keep these false volumes of these exchanges. Especially the volume of these fraudulent Coins who could naively create a pump and dump using some specific exchanges.
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Best Ethereum Wallets online in 2019 on: May 01, 2019, 09:41:35 PM
3 of these wallets are never recommended anywhere. Very strange article. There are other options that might be more reliable. Mainly hardware wallets. I do not know where the article found that the GUARD is one of the most popular wallets. I had never heard of it before.
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is ADA a good investment? on: May 01, 2019, 09:17:59 PM
If I look at the FCAS measures User Activity, Developer Behavior and Asset Maturity found in coinmarketcap facilities, Cardano still in a healthy/good position. And if you intend to buy and hold for the long term this coin is still in the safe category.

It is certainly one of the most promising projects. Maybe not as speculative as others like TRON. But it is one of the few new projects that emerged during the market madness in 2017 that seems to me to be able to be useful for a long time. Still has some challenges. It is always important to remember that it is not yet a fully decentralized project. It takes a bit more clarity as future decisions will be made. Better wallets. But it is certainly still an excellent time to invest in this project.

I did not know this app. I intend to download to try. But a big use case for cryptos is certainly the use in foreign trade. Being able to buy products from other countries without using a credit card is still impossible. But Bitcoin could allow that.
