681  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: United States any recommendations on: January 05, 2019, 02:42:47 AM
I have searched and the only ones where it is clear they accept US customers are:

https://www.cloudbet.com/en/    CloudBet
https://www.bitcoincasino.us      Bitcoin Casino
https://www.bitcoinpenguin.com   Bitcoin Penguin

There are others that you can play, but they do not say they allowed US costumers.

683  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Implant microchip- Bitcoin wallet? on: January 04, 2019, 05:30:42 PM
I saw a post on Reddit back in the day about this, unfortunately the YouTube video has been deleted.
"This guy has a BTC wallet implanted in his hand": https://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/6k4s6c/this_guy_has_a_btc_wallet_implanted_in_his_hand/

I don't think it's something you just can simply order online; but instead something specifically made for you, though I'm not 100% sure. It's probably something you request a surgeon to implant it for you, though I guess it's going to need some requirements(probably needs to be approved by a doctorate authority to make sure it's safe).

This video from Vice talk about the same guy https://motherboard.vice.com/en_us/article/mg7jg8/this-guy-implanted-his-bitcoin-wallet-and-made-a-payment-with-his-hand

His name is Martijn Wismeijer

Great game upcoming today between Toronto Raptors vs San Antonio Spurs. Here you will see who's the better between Kawhi Leonard and DeMar DeRozan and also who won the team trade of these two.

You guys which team you think wins the trade between Kawhi to Raptors or DeMar to Spurs? And which team will win this match? Moneyline SAS 1.82 (-1.5) vs RAP 2.09 (+1.5)
The Raptors are getting hammered right now, 19-38 at the end of the first quarter.
I think coach pop were able to prepare for this match up, and the Raptors really miss the help of the Lowry and their best Center.

If they can come back and win this game, then I guess they are really a great team, but I believe their chances is very slim.

Live odds is 8.50 for the Raptors now, those who believe can take this.

82-55 for the spurs.

Spurs dominated the entire game. So far has not given the Raptors any chance. A game that could be competitive as a playoff game is just a walk in the park.

Curious is that the main news is again about debt. But this time it is a possibility of a crisis of the universities because of the loans to the students.

689  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi's lesson on: January 03, 2019, 04:38:14 AM
Ok, great text, you touched on several points that most people do not usually comment on when they talk about Bitcoin or Satoshi. The dedication he had was out of the ordinary, it's common for people to get a bit addicted to a hobby. How much he used his imagination is also very interesting, I imagine someone in an office closed by several dawns, writing theories and imagining the most improbable possibilities.

But what really impresses me is the total lack of influence and "money" he had before Bitcoin. No one knew who he was or what he could do. He had no reputation.

If you want to get a job, start a business, publish an article, people will ask who you are before of anything. And the importance they attach to you is connected to what you did in the past or to who is introducing you to them. It is a revolution that the only work of an avatar/profile with zero reputation has had that impact and marked the lives of so many people.

Perhaps in a more decentralized future, we might be surprised by other revolutions appearing in the most improbable places and by people totally unknown before. Anonymity and the right to privacy is not a bad thing and should always be a universal right.
690  Economy / Speculation / Re: BlockTower Capital to Lose $1 Million After Betting Bitcoin Would Hit $50,000 on: January 02, 2019, 07:51:53 PM
If i remember correctly, the fund sold BTC and bought call options with a fraction of the proceeds.
If so, he maintained a potential upside, yet booked profits.
Not a bad play.

I searched and did not find any more information about it. But I found it quite interesting and safe. It's amazing how articles that involve finances try to be so hyped, trying to get the impression that everything is a casino. But when you read more, if you search more often are thoughtful and safe negotiations.

I think we can create a list of "scripts" for raising activity for Bitcointalk newbies. Also you can write some advices how to up your forum rank [/size]

Here, you can just express what your thoughts and opinion regarding the topic, why would they make a scripts for activities? Seriously?  Huh
Probably a bounter, they're just making theirselves dumb for rank Roll Eyes

good one .. when its launching ?

Yes, the project is really inspiring, ideas for creativity and not only

A very good and interesting project,I hope that it will be successful and smooth

I think this is a project with a good concept and also has good prospects for the future, makes me more curious about the progress of this project next and and hopefully can run smoothly as expected

This is an interesting project

The project is very promising, I like it! Good luck!

I like project. achievements

Preparation for the project is a huge work and a great investment. I saw a fairly predictable and transparent roadmap

What are your projections for the growth of the project?

Hi team! Have you planned to create a project before you learned about blockchain technology. Or the idea came with increase of popularity of ICO?

Very Perspective Project.

When will the tokens go to the exchange?

When is the project planned to be fully operational? Where can you find out?

Working prototype is ready and tested?

How much money have you already collected?

I think this project is one of the most successful. I am sure that the project has a great future.

Hi! Interesting project! When will ico starts?

How many people works in your team?

Is it possible to say with confidence that the ICO will be held on time and the coin will be released on the exchange?

In which projects the developers participated yet

Will your coin be on Coinmarketcap?

Are you going to increase the amount of people working on your project?

Hello team! Do you have a competitor in the field of blockchain or classic web industry?

This is a very nice business with opportunity

Hi developers. How many people in the team do you have?

Hello, how many tokens will be sold?

Have you a mobile app?

The project is very interesting! Which areas of the project seem the most promising?

How long will it take to complete the project?

What can be the price of the token by preliminary assessment after the full implementation of the project?

How to receive token after ICO ending?

When do You plan to distribute tokens?

How much hard cap does this project have?

In which country is the development of this project?

This project is really great, your site and panel definitely stand out. Very good!

It your token is ERC-20?

This project has everything to be the best in the field: a great idea, a great team and a powerful community!

I like your project and I would like to ask you: how are you going to promote your token on the exchange after the listing?

Most users probably still aren't aware of the merit system or even understand it. Besides, this sort of spam will still get you to a Junior Member, but this is yet further reasoning why we should do something about that and either remove signatures from Juniors Members all-together and/or require some sort of merit achievement to become one. Far too many people are botting their way to Junior and then they can even get paid for this behaviour on badly run ICO campaigns.

Should have atleast 5 merits to be a Jr. member for a starting barrier.

This list can be used to create a system of alerts that run to detect users who use these standard phrases. This would identify accounts whose purpose is to only increase account activity and use for spam, farm or shitposting.

As vezes vale o risco.

696  Economy / Speculation / Re: Holders should get out if bitcoin falls under $3200 says bear trader on: December 30, 2018, 01:39:08 AM
A hodl probably still has an average prize below the 1k. It does not have the slightest sense to sell while still having 100% profit with the possibility of re-earning a profit of 1000%.

If you are not a trader, your calculation should always take in consideration your average price, not the market price.
697  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-19] Electrum Wallet Attack May Have Stolen As Much as 245 Bitcoin! on: December 30, 2018, 01:18:51 AM
It was such a stupid and yet so profitable mistake. It is becoming increasingly clear that people need to separate spend wallets from pig wallets. And pig wallets need to be rarely accessed. So, if any error occurs, you would lose only a small part of what you own.
698  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 232: Jones vs Gustafsson 2 Prediction and Info Thread on: December 29, 2018, 10:52:24 PM
Everybody is on drugs these days it's only a matter of being smart and able to cover it up. Lance Armstrong was doping, all bodybuilders are on steroids, recently one of them got a fatal heart attack at the age of 26. I read about it like a week ago.

Gustafsson is having his fun:

The event will be a double doping match:

Quote
on January 6, 2012, it was announced that Cyborg had tested positive for stanozolol, an anabolic steroid. As a result of the banned substance, the fight's result was changed to a no contest. Cyborg had her license suspended for one year and was fined $2,500.

At some point the rules against doping will have to be completely modified. And a much greater tolerance would be implanted. Today it is very unlikely that there is a champion fighter who has not made regular use of prohibited substances.

ZIL is a great investment right now. They do not promise anything more than what they can delivery. Their roadmap is great if they can sustain their dates. Their mainet will come a little later, but will certainly worth more than 1 bi in less than 2 months.

Was binance hacked? I remember that there was some doubt as to what had actually happened. But many consider that it had been hacked and some users lost a lot of money. There was Syscoin, too.
