141  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How much should I invest in cryptocurrency as a beginner on: August 13, 2023, 11:58:32 PM
5. Research the company or cryptocurrency: Conduct thorough research on the cryptocurrency you want to invest in. Look at the chart history, team, use case and future plan.

This is the most critical part, even for already knowledgeable people in crypto, especially for newbies.

We all know that in most cases, most crypto-investors just want to ride the hype and go with the flow. In the end, they ended up wrecked because of their inability of doing good research. It's understandable that it's not a simple thing to do but doing hard research before putting any money should always be considered.

It's not advisable to just go with the hype as even if projects will come up in a professional way, that's not an assurance that success will happen later on. That's why it's always a good practice that every newbie should always start at "only bitcoin" as their first crypto of choice.
142  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: List of casinos that allows "free spins and no deposit" on: August 13, 2023, 11:49:54 PM

As also a fan of no-deposit bonuses, it's quite easy to find those thru our favorite web search engine e.g Google search.

It's good that you must test it for yourself rather than following a suggestion.

The reason? It's because based on my experience, I encountered some gambling sites that don't support a country even in general, just like in our country, it's not usual to see it as restricted. Besides there are a bunch of those sites that's why it's better to give it a shot yourself instead.
143  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading with Quantum Computing and AI on: August 12, 2023, 03:46:06 AM

The way I read your responses here, looks like you don't need any pointers from the community.

Why not try it instead and see the result for yourselves? Seems you are interested in the first place and no one can stop you from doing that. You are telling us already the key components of that bot making me think that you already did some research about it (not unless just flooding a link intentionally).

Just keep in mind that, regardless of the technology or algorithm used by these trading bots, a prediction will always be a prediction.
144  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 12, 2023, 03:00:37 AM
I noticed that when I start to play games like keno, limbo, dice, etc. First some bets don't hit and after wagering some percentage of my balance it starts to hit,
How it works? like when we wager we have more probability to hit win, anyone noticed this? Do you know how it works and what is the calculation behind it?, do server sends outcomes by checking our wager?

There's no such thing as a thing that we can connect the dots here between wagered amount and result.

Everything is random and we have to expect a result like that on a "luck-based game" obviously. House-edge rules, random algorithm rules, RTP-related rules, and everything. I also noticed your observation but it's just that, that's how the system should be supposed to work.

If the site is somehow reputable, expect that everything is fair and they won't do some sh*t to their users.
145  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: August 12, 2023, 02:40:48 AM
In reality you have to wager it so many times that you'll fall victim to the natural losses that a casino will inflict on your bankroll. However the casinos are banking on you ignoring all the losses and becoming conditioned to playing their selection of games, with all the triggers and habit forming behaviors that come out of it. Even if you do end up with 50 bucks left, they know that you'll likely just return it straight back to them. Quite often they force you to play your deposited money first as well, so you'll lose that long before the "free" cash disappears too.

We have to consider that it's just reasonable for casinos to do so. Being very light and not that strict in terms of promotions will result in abuse. Regular gamblers at that site don't want that to happen as it will affect all users if such big sh*t happened on that site.

I'm also not a fan of reading bonus terms and conditions but my experience will tell me what's the best thing to do. It's also obvious that big promotions always come with great requirements that's why gamblers should understand that the moment they enter the promotion.

That's why if confused, users can just do normal deposits and stay away from promotions if they don't understand even the basic terms.
146  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: August 11, 2023, 11:58:34 PM
Let's just hope that Tapales develop speed and quickness which is way faster than Inoue.  If Tapales can't surpass the speed of Inoue, no matter how good his footwork is, he will always get caught open.  Tapales must develop quicker jabs, faster straight punches and uppercut punches, and timed evasion making Inoue open due to missing punches.  It may be a very hard task but if Tapales really wanted to have a higher chance of winning then he must do it.  There may be a way where he doesn't need these adjustments, and that is, to be able to absorb Inoue's punches and have the devastating punches that can render Inoue incapable of continuing the fight.

If there are no changes in the ability of Tapales, I don't see him winning the fight against Inoue.

Let's say Marlon Tapales really developed and improved his speed, expect that the same goes for Naoya Inoue.

Surpassing Inoue at almost the entire of the Japanese monster advantages is really tough. We can't expect a big development for Tapales within just several months as to surpass Inoue at anything, it needs boxing experience. Beating Inoue though will really bring something big for Tapales. I hope that will be the reason for Tapales to fuel his determination to win.

For me, not being a bullsh*t here but I really don't see a way how Tapales will beat Naoya Inoue. It's not the same as Pacquiao being the heavy underdog during their fight against the prime Marco Antonio Barrera. But still, I will support my countrymen here and expect that something special will happened in their fight.
147  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 11, 2023, 11:49:16 PM
This is not a favorable situation for Greece; their best player won't be able to play. Consequently, I believe they have a diminished chance of winning the tournament. Currently ranked number 9 in the world, they are considered a strong team. However, without Giannis, they won't be as competitive as before.

Read this a while ago and that's a big blow for Team Greece.

Without Giannis, the team even failed to win their tune-up match against Serbia and Italy which are considered powerhouse teams. Although looking at their group bracket, I think Greece can handle those teams except for Team USA because of an obvious reason.

It's also sad for us, PH basketball fans here, as one of the hosts of the upcoming FIBA Basketball World Cup, not to witness Giannis playing in action.
148  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Legality of Online Gambling in Different Countries on: August 11, 2023, 11:38:25 PM
VPNs are like digital escape ropes. If one doesn't work, switch, shuffle, and try another. But also, sometimes it's not even about the VPNs, sometimes it's just the casino being a little picky. They want to choose their players like someone trying to pick the best apple from a cart.

It's not that casinos are picky but the moment they applied for a license, expect that they also need to consider the legality of gambling in those countries they have put on their restricted list. Not sure about the full terms of that said term but it's part of the regulatory that casinos accept why they have put several restricted countries.

Using VPN is not a big deal and it was allowed in most cases, however, terms are terms and if the IP was detected in one of those restricted locations, it will be subject to account banned. Gambling sites are business and as much as possible they all want those apples to come on their site but since they are regulated, no choice but to follow and comply with the regulations.
149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Healthy mindset to save earnings from gambling on: August 11, 2023, 11:23:59 PM
However, if we place gambling only for entertainment then we will not always be active in gambling games but only for betting on sports teams or favorite fighters, .

I doubt if these people will play gambling for entertainment, they will not be always active in gambling.

That does not make sense since you already mentioned, "entertainment" - which people always want to do.

Playing gambling for entertainment is even more critical compared to those who do gambling with the goal of winning. Gambling for entertainment is not applicable for all, as damn hell, most gamblers won't noticed how much money they are losing now because they do gamble because of entertainment.
150  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 09, 2023, 11:42:08 PM
Damn, I really hope that Aj Edu and Rhenz Abando will make it to the final lineup. They are the additional game changer for PH in that tournament.

My fearless forecast is that they will be part in the final 12 roster of Gilas as both AJ Edu and Rhenz Abando plays excellent defense on which coach Chot Reyes wants this version of Gilas to be defense oriented.

I do see that AJ Edu has the chance to make it to the final roster as he's seen doing well at both offense and defense. He was also given a good playing time in the recent tournament as the Gilas really need a big man to help JuneMar Fajardo and Japeth Aguilar. My worry is about Rhenz Abando as Gilas currently does have several guards especially once Scottie Thompson returns from the injury.

I hope they will consider Abando's athleticism and not just looked at his height. Against Iran and Senegal in their last tournament, Abando shows his good defense even against those much taller than him. Since Gilas is lack height, they should consider a guard that is athletic and Abando does have that.

CJ Perez + Rhenz Abando = I'm expecting a fast ball phase in every offense.
151  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Slots fever on: August 09, 2023, 11:20:07 PM
The first time I tried slots in my life, I use 1Eur to make 240Euro, this was my most joyous day in gambling, it was so unexpected, I freaked out and freaking lost my mind, since then I started believing that gambling do have some surprises when you don't expect them.

Till today, I have had some losses and also some fine hits, what about you guys? Do you have any Slots spinning story to share? I'm sure some people are more lucky than many others.

I believed most of those people that got into playing slots did some nice wins in their early sessions and we can take that as a reason why they continue doing it until now. Since the experience of winning big is really something we can't just forget, lots of gamblers want to attempt on making it happen no matter what. Others take it as a side doing while others take it as a habit.

While these people are progressing into their slot journey, we know that the situation is just between being "winners" and "losers". There are fortunate and there are unfortunate ones which is the reality that we can see in gambling regardless of what they are playing e.g. slots, roulette, sports betting, etc.

It's not wrong to continue playing if everything is still under control. But if some sh*t is happening now, that's a different story.
152  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sudden Wealth Syndrome (SWS) In Gambling on: August 09, 2023, 11:03:18 PM

Who knows what will happen until the game-changer came into our life?

Personally to me, I already experienced receiving a huge amount of money lots of time times way back several years ago. The feeling is, I am able to spend freely without worrying about my personal financial status. Although my regular spending becomes noticeably increased, I didn't turn into a sh*t person that always does unnecessary buying of anything. I was able to build our own house even during the pandemic, able to purchase a family car, motorcycle, bike, etc. That's why even though I'm currently not that holding decent money much the way I used before, I am able to use my earned money for good.

It's really up to the people how they will handle things once they are now in that situation. Doesn't really need for them to have an awareness of the said syndrome as these people will only understand being in that situation once they personally experience it on actual.
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the market still profitable for new projects? on: August 08, 2023, 11:58:05 PM
Given the crowding of the market with hundreds of new projects and the emergence of new services or companies every day, I think that the number of investors or users of these services does not correspond to this large increase.

So my question is: is this market still profitable for new projects?

Since the beginning, the competition is already there. No one will be able to tell if new projects can succeed in the market nowadays if they will not engage in it in an actual operation. The problem will only be determined once the project goes live and that's where the critical point is, how to deal with those.

Attracting investors is always part of the difficulty that any new project faces. It's a challenge.

Success is impossible to achieve without struggles on the way. There's no shortcut.
154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: August 08, 2023, 11:45:13 PM
Do you guys think the current odds will change drastically during the next 3 weeks? I mean, I know it's possible, but how much or how little do you think the change is likely to be?

I'm sure there will be no change of odds until the official tip-off regardless if a team is Favorite or not.

Not expecting major changes in the few weeks for the entire participating teams that's why if you want to consider placing money, you can do it now. Let me guess, are you considering placing a bet for the outrights? Obviously, the odds of changes will be expected only after those first games.

I believe that in the end, there will be another face-off between the US and Spain. However, I expect the US to come out on top.

Team USA will always be the team to beat but I'm expecting a change this year. Smiley
155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: August 08, 2023, 11:34:03 PM
JC is now in the Philippines so it's sure that he will be able to play with the Gilas locals.

Yes, he really needs to join the Gilas practice nowadays.

If you guys recently watch the performance of Gilas in the China Pocket tournament, you will notice the big changes in them - sharing the ball. No such thing as isolation in most of their plays and it was designed for everyone. Gilas also shows in that tournament that "defense is the best offense".

But since Jordan Clarkson is mostly an ISO player, I hope it will not change the current good development of ball-sharing with the team.

Damn, I really hope that Aj Edu and Rhenz Abando will make it to the final lineup. They are the additional game changer for PH in that tournament.
156  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: August 08, 2023, 11:24:56 PM
Will the Chicago Bulls make a big mistake if they trade Zach LaVine? IMO, yes. They don't need a rebuild, they need an upgrade on other sections. They already have the best offensive players in the league but something is missing after Lonzo Ball was hurt.

I agree. They just need a little tweak to their roster without trading their key players.

There are lots of good role players around which they can fish without giving up the part of their core. Remember last season, when they almost make sounds in the early phase of the season, LaVine is one of the key reasons why the Bulls are having a good run that time. It's really hard to cover what Lonzo Ball left but that shouldn't end up for the Bulls breaking the core.

It's hard to build chemistry again if they will change the main core where it's already clear that the current ones are properly blended with each other.
157  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Peer pressure as a substantial gambling catalyst. on: August 08, 2023, 11:14:34 PM

As a gambler for almost 2 decades, I started gambling when the internet is not that even available smoothly to anyone.

Yes, there are lots of things that associate with gambling offline even just a friendly game. There are also games before where physical machines are just everywhere where we can bet our money, the same as how we see in physical casinos nowadays. Sometimes, challenging someone in the form of a game and money is at stake with it. And there are a lot more examples to mention.

Being also a sports enthusiast, it's impossible for me that I won't encounter gambling with this.

Then as I grow up and progressed, it's just that I enjoyed doing gambling and the rest is history. Smiley
158  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: August 08, 2023, 11:01:41 PM
Those that keep their gambling habit a secret is it that they're not proud of what they are doing?.

You already mentioned it, we lived in a society where in the end, we are the one who needs to adjust.

It's not that these people are not proud of gambling but regardless if it's kept secret or not, is it really mandatory for them to be proud of it? They do gamble for their own reason and not because these people kept it secret, they are not proud of doing it.

Anyways, what's the key point of this thread? Are you one of those that kept gambling as secret due to some personal reason?
159  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Between futures trading and gambling on: August 07, 2023, 11:58:31 PM
Well… most people are like that, but it is practically impossible to win. Nothing in this world is instantaneous and everything requires a long process, there needs to be sufficient knowledge and skills and of course there must be sacrifice in it to be able to get victory. Even instant noodles we have to cook first so we can eat it.

Just let them realize it thru their experience. Even giving them such friendly advice, they won't feel the actual pressure.

Once they now feel the real experience, they will truly understand what's the best thing to do.

It's just that Future trading is really technical even for a crypto-enthusiast. It's not that easy to understand. While in gambling, these people will just place their bet and watch the result without doing nothing. Believe me, even we show these people huge money came from trading, they won't bother to know as the interest is not there.
160  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reckless gambling starts after a win round. on: August 07, 2023, 11:47:10 PM
Do you think its possible to become addicted to gambling when you haven't win a dime or after you win?
I think addiction starts after you win, even if it's just once, that's when you start gambling recklessly and you also start betting higher.

Don't blame being winning or losing as a turning point for a gambler being addicted.

Never ever called those things or even consider a reasons why gamblers become addicted.

It's on people, regardless of the reason, why they ended up being addicted. Even after winning big, it's our decision to continue or not. Being responsible is the key. There are lots of big winners already in gambling but didn't end up being addicted. They were able to control themselves after that experience. Therefore, we can't generalize the thing you have pointed out.
