A Bitcâmbio é da BlinkTrade, eles não trocaram uma pela outra, mas sim decidiram abrir sua própria Exchange no Brasil. Até onde eu sei a Foxbit já planejava isso a algum tempo, desde quando lançou a FoxFast Mas isso, como você mesmo diz... são rumores, nada oficial. A Bitcambio é bem mais antiga. Eles tinham a mesma parceria que a Foxbit. A BlinkTrade oferece esse tipo de parceria já a algum tempo. What is important to note is that many accounts have not been hacked. They are only frozen by some hacking attempt or by an attempt to change the email. As the process of defrosting the account or recovering it is manual and takes a lot of time.
Perhaps more important than 2fa, it would be automatization of the account recovery process. Using a signature from a BTC or pgp address. I think the forum should have an option to directly configure in the profile your BTC addresses and pgp that could never be changed. And only the admin could visualize them in an account recovery situation. Bitmex uses a similar system.

Like blockchains, a DAG by itself is not a consensus algorithm, it's merely a data format. In other words, just like blockchains, DAGs require a consensus algorithm on top. For example, IOTA relies on a central coordinator while ByteBall uses a set of trusted witnesses, similar to Ripple / Stellar. Nice overview nonetheless, OP.

O termo correto pra quanto se usa PoS é "mint". Em portugues a tradução literal seria "cunhar", mas ninguem usa. A gente usa "minerar" pros dois em PT. |

Hopefully, it wouldn't be Bitcoin.io Put it in line with all those scam ICOs. I like the bitcoin.org domain name, very suitable for non-profit organizations, declaring the decentralization and financial freedom from banks. I do not know if I misread your answer. But bitcoin.org is not an organization, it is the domain name of the site. bitcoin.org is not the maintainer of the Bitcoin project. Bitcoin.org is maintained by contributions. But who contributes, is not part of a foundation, non-profit organization or something like that Some people have suggested that it would be good to create a foundation to be responsible for the site. Fortunately, this idea seems to have been repudiated. As often this type of foundation is more harmful, than helpful. It disturbs, by trying to centralize the decision making. This would put an end to Bitcoin. Of course, bitcoin.org has a powerful story. But it's just a site that aims to contribute to the mission of educating more people about Bitcoin. |

Although Cobra has ultimate technical control over the domain name, note that I already do have access to the settings. So if Cobra was hit by a bus, I could take over.
In an emergency I could take the domain temporarily, but I couldn't take it long-term because that would make me too much of a central point of failure.
I don't see any urgent need to change the status quo. I am not very concerned about Cobra going rogue (see my comment here), and I am concerned that any non-profit would be more likely to be eventually corrupted than Cobra is. There are disadvantages to having the domain ultimately controlled by one person, and it may be possible to design an entity carefully enough that the risk of it being corrupted is sufficiently low, so I won't completely rule out future changes. |

Desculpe a ignorância, mas o que seria um "Shiller"  Eu não sei se existe Shiller. Ou se é usado. O que existe é shill. Mas ele está utilizando esse termo da maneira errada. Shill account é quando uma propaganda é feita num local de discussões sem ficar claro que é uma propaganda. Isso é o que mais existe na comunidade crypto. Por exemplo, alguém chega e começa a falar mal de determinado projeto e falar muito bem de outro. Logo chega uma enxurrada de mais mensagens elogiando o segundo projeto. Eles em nenhum momento falam que estão sendo pagos para isso. Na aba de serviços costumam contratar para esse tipo de serviço no Reddit. No facebook tem muito mais do que aqui. Tinha uma galera que promovia a Nano e recebia por isso. Uma tal de html tb. Na foxbit o pessoal está utilizando a assinatura para promover. Mas ninguém recebe para falar bem. Nem existe a necessidade de falar nada sobre ela.
Quanto ao tópico. Tem uma pesquisa que a fundação Mozila fez onde encontraram que a maioria das pessoas compreendiam que internet era o Facebook ou Whats App. O % de pessoas que utilizam apenas o mobile para se conectar a internet no Brasil passa de 30%. E a esmagadora maioria utiliza a internet para facebook e WP. As pessoas utilizam mais facebook.inc do que qualquer outra coisa quando conectados. Além disso, ele é uma ferramenta melhor que o forum. A empresa fica constantemente melhorando o produto e esse forum está parado a um bom tempo. Agora, acho curioso que mesmo pessoas mais ligadas a tecnologia prefiram utilizar lá do que aqui. Talvez se a área de Moedas Alternativas tivesse um espaço apenas para discussões poderia ajudar. Uma área Livre em Português poderia também ser interessante. Já que a maioria das discussões nos grupos são sobre outras moedas, memes, negociações p2p frustradas, perguntas de novatos e o sobe e desce dos preços. |
