1401  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: [Expose] TheGlobalTrades.com Ponzi project on: January 14, 2023, 08:58:53 PM
Since all investors are aware of the Ponzi scheme, it has almost vanished in recent months. However, the Ponzi scheme has recently popped up. I've been getting a lot of DMs lately about ponzi schemes. People are not investing much because of the bear market and are instead trying their luck with Ponzi schemes. Ponzi schemers take advantage of this. Anyway, I believe forum members are now well aware of ponzi schemes and high returns. Except for brand new cryptocurrency users, they should not fall victim. We must be cautious with our funds.
1402  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Trying to scam by the name of KYC on: January 14, 2023, 08:53:00 PM
Thank you for sharing it with us. KYC has recently become very popular on the decentralized launchpad. As a result, everyone is looking for an easy way to scam and skip. They obtain a KYC certificate from a third party by supplying a government-issued identity card and other documents. According to my investigation, there is even a KYC seller. That is, they collect data from us and send it to launchpads or wherever it is needed. Just be cautious when someone inquires about your personal information and documents.
1403  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why most of airdrops don't pay participants with tokens in these days?? on: January 14, 2023, 08:43:53 PM
Airdrops are no longer profitable. Airdrop participants are not being paid because both the participants and the project owners are dishonest. Bots and cheating have been used by participants. Project owners dislike dumping by paying tokens. Because most project's token price fall immediately after they are launched. As a result, if more Airdrop participants create sell pressure, the price will fall further. As a consequence, this is one of the reasons why airdrop rewards are not paid. Another reason is that the project itself is a scam. So there's no reason to pay for useless scam tokens.
1404  Economy / Speculation / Re: what caused bitcoin to go up this january 2023 on: January 14, 2023, 08:35:12 PM
Yes, I noticed a sudden pump today. I'm not excited, but I'm happy. Because we don't know if it started with a real bull or a bull trap. If it's legitimate bull, it's all about investor faith. Investors are starting to believe that 2023 will be a bull year, as opposed to last year, which was extremely bloody for a variety of reasons. On the other hand, negative news has decreased while there is little positive news around us. To be honest, Bitcoin deserves more than $20,000. We'll have to see if it can stay there.
1405  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the key to your success investing in bitcoin.. on: January 14, 2023, 08:25:26 PM
When you are an investor, patience is essential to your success. You cannot earn or make money from cryptocurrency if you lack patience. You chose to buy it because the price you paid was your dip. So you must remain calm as prices continue to fall. We must remain strong until it recovers. If you panic and sell at a loss, no one will be able to assist you. Only patience can assist. So, before you jump in, give it some serious thought. You should not be sorry later.
1406  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Call centres selling fake crypto taken down in Bulgaria, Serbia and Cyprus on: January 14, 2023, 08:18:16 PM
Recently, I've noticed an increase in Ponzi schemes. So they most likely used this type of call center to promote their Ponzi scheme. In my country, I've seen some Ponzi schemes create an internal token algorithm that does not exist on the Blockchain. I'm assuming you're referring to this type of Ponzi scheme. Ponzi schemers getting advantage from the bear market. People who have lazy money and gamble with Ponzi schemes. However, it is positive to see that they are calming down.
1407  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: I NEED TO BUY A HUGE AMOUNT OF BITCOINS 500+ OFFLINE CASH TRADE VIA LBC ESCROW on: January 13, 2023, 06:56:12 PM
I'm curious, why are you mentioning escrow when you're buying from Local Bitcoin? As far as I know, Local Bitcoin is a peer-to-peer exchange that escrows funds. So you can buy directly from there. Binance, on the other hand, is an option. It's recently become the most popular peer-to-peer exchange because it's fast and reliable. If you are serious about purchasing, choose the most secure option. Don't put your money in the hands of anyone online. By the way, don't put your money in any exchange. Keep your money in a hardware wallet.
1408  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best crypto selling method on exchanges on: January 13, 2023, 06:49:49 PM
Every trader has their own strategy. So they make the decision to sell their coins. If I trade for a short period of time, I place an order based on my expectations. If I hold the coin and somehow pump it, I will sell it at the current price. Because I believe this was my expected price and I should sell now. I lost several times by placing orders. The price has not yet reached my order and dump price. If I sold at the current price, I would be profitable. So, depending on the circumstances, time will tell you what you should do. It is impossible to predict in advance.
1409  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: One of the things that make people to make good content in posting on: January 13, 2023, 06:36:40 PM
Just don't write anything related to what you've learned so far. Especially with regard to merit, because almost everyone is aware of it, and you have only recently discovered and begun writing about it. Not a good sign at all, and to be honest, some people will interpret it negatively. But, if someone asks about it, you can share your experience. People are motivated to write good posts by merit. However, you should not post in order to gain merit. Simply contribute to the forum, and the forum will return the favor.
1410  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: A new godfather virus for android that steals data from cryptocurrency applicati on: January 13, 2023, 06:31:23 PM
It appears to be more dangerous to read your 2FA codes or SMS from your device. Here's the lesson: why not keep 2FA authentication on the same device where you're running your crypto or banking apps. BTW, I keep my 2FA SMS sim in another device so that the virus cannot read it. I mostly store my cryptocurrency in hardware wallets, so it's almost safe. Hackers are constantly looking for new ways to steal our money. Just be more cautious.
1411  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will Bitcoin have value? on: January 13, 2023, 06:23:59 PM
Apart from that, Bitcoin is valuable because we love it and buy it. The strength of Bitcoin is its community. Bitcoin has value because it is supported by a large community. The value of Bitcoin will exist as long as this community believes in it. Your points actually demonstrate why we love and support Bitcoin. We believe that holding Bitcoin will provide a good return. We can use it as a borderless money transaction and without any third party. So Bitcoin is valuable because of the trust of the community and investors.
1412  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Keep your emotions balanced especially regarding Bitcoin on: January 13, 2023, 06:17:21 PM
In crypto, there is no space available for emotion. Crypto, teach me the meaning of patience. I was too panicked and emotional when I first started using cryptocurrency. But as I mature, I keep my emotions separate from crypto. Now it doesn't matter what the price is. I held out until I made a profit. I'm not in a hurry to make money these days. If I notice an uncertain pump, I sell it immediately, but I buy it back when the dump begins. Because I've noticed for a long time that Bitcoin drops after every uncertain pump.
1413  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Do and Don't for Electrum Wallet on: January 13, 2023, 06:11:12 PM
When I discovered that Electrum had been hacked a few years ago, I began using the Ledger hardware wallet. Even use Electrum to make multiple transactions by connecting ledger, which was not possible with Ledger live. Also I did not update the software on my Electrum. I went to the website and reinstalled from there. To avoid losses, it is preferable to use a hardware wallet. Hackers are very smart nowadays, and we must be as well.
1414  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why would someone send 4 BTC to Satoshi (Genesis block) on: January 13, 2023, 06:03:19 PM
This is not burn because we don't know if it's spendable or not. Satoshi still has access to his entire wallet, but he isn't touching it. I don't believe the Bitcoin creator would lose his private keys, which he is very familiar with. The sender would illustrate why he sent four Bitcoin to the Satoshi address. I believe it is an error. Because there is no reason for anyone to send this amount consciously.
1415  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: at bitcointalk.org you have to be mentally strong. on: January 09, 2023, 08:18:39 PM
Unless there is a ridiculously unrealistic discussion, little under people will criticize you. However, people can be crazy and criticize you at times. You've come here to learn, not to fight. As a result, you must accept and learn from criticism. Simply ignore and try to figure out what you did wrong and why you were criticized. However, the emphasis should be on learning and engaging in constructive discussion. As a result, you can contribute to the forum. Respect others in order to obtain resection.
1416  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] Mixerdream.com - Secure | Anonymous Bitcoin Mixer | Tumbler on: January 07, 2023, 07:42:03 AM
I tried out the Mixerdream. The website design is pretty cool, nearly identical to what should be mixer. The interface is also fairly simple for all users, especially newcomers. They can easily obtain everything they require. My mix amount arrived on time and cannot be traced. So far, everything has gone pretty smoothly. Funds were received in less than 6 hours, which I believe should be improved. I know it's already on the website, but we'll be receiving mixed funds in 6 hours. However, I believe that time should be reduced further. Why should a user have to wait 6 hours to receive his funds? Everything else is fine to me. I hope you will consider user feedback to improve your service. I tried with min amount 0.005 BTC.
1417  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Don't feel comfortable with crypto exchange on: January 06, 2023, 08:30:31 PM
What exactly is the bitcoin Remitano exchange? Is this a new exchange? That is something I am not familiar with. In the last year, we've seen a couple of exchanges collapse and be scammed. This means that funds are risky to any centralized exchange. You should transfer your funds to a non-custodial wallet as soon as possible and use a reputable exchange to exchange your coins.
1418  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it advisable to memorize seed phrase? on: January 06, 2023, 07:35:33 PM
With your seed phrase, you can do whatever you want. So it's up to you whether you want to memorize your seed phrase or write it down on multiple pieces of paper. It's preferable if you have memories, but it would be too difficult for me. If there is a fire and you leave everything on the house, you will lose everything if you can't remember your seed. What if you keep your seed safe somewhere else? Is it any other trusted house or a relative's house that isn't aware of crypto? Or is your office in a secure location? I simply mean keep it in multiple locations where you feel safe. You could even store it underground, where fire cannot destroy it.
1419  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An Example of Not your Keys Not your coins on: January 06, 2023, 06:49:03 PM
The issue is that we are too lazy to manage our financial affairs. Few people read the terms and conditions of a centralized wallet or an exchange. We unconsciously give them access to our funds and then cry. We enjoy leaving our funds in an exchange that has led to a lack. We have spread "not your key not your funds", but we have not used it ourselves. Every incident results in a loss of funds for investors. As a result, the market keeps collapsing. We must learn from the past. Last year was labelled "Bloody Year for Crypto" due to a series of incidents. If we do not learn from our mistakes, we will continue to lose.
1420  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your wishes for BTC in coming years? on: January 06, 2023, 06:37:21 PM
First and above all, we want to thank Satoshi Nakamoto for giving for this life-changing opportunity. We are proud to be a part of the Bitcoin community. Satoshi not only created Bitcoin, but he also popularized cryptocurrency. I wish people understood the true purpose of Bitcoin, which is not to make money through trading. How do you think Satoshi can change anything on Bitcoin, which is truly decentralized? Nobody can change it, and it will remain decentralized in perpetuity. Because it is uncontrollable, it cannot be regulated. Banks will always be the enemy of any decentralized currency, even if they accept it.
