Did they change the rules on their accelerator service?
The last time I looked, they refused to accelerate transactions that paid less than 10 satoshis per byte?
They didn't. You still can't submit transactions with a fee bellow 10 sat/byte. In this case, ConfirmTX.com is also free for transactions with a size of up to 500 bytes.
If you sign up to their service the limit is removed. Oh yeah... You also have to sign up...
Don't you need a cloud mining contract to have the limit removed?

any long experience with this wallet ?
I used this wallet for a few months last year and it worked as it should. The big "bonus" is the Segwit support that is already implemented in both GreenAdress and GreenBits app. You can read about a few features GreenAdress has in this page: https://greenaddress.it/en/faq.html

WageCan[1] is only of the few card that is not issued by Wave Crest nor Mychoice - which means that it will work worldwide. The only problem is that the card costs $162 (don't really know why). My other choice would be the TenX card, which can be loaded with Bitcoin, Ethereum, and will support other cryptocurrencies in the future. [1] https://wagecan.com/Pricing

You will need to use a wallet to sweep the coins from one paper wallet to the other. If you have an phone, the best way is to download the MyCelium app and do the "cold storage" process to sweep your private keys coins to a new address. Check this video[1] if you need help; or if you don't have a phone, import your paper wallet in Electrum and send the coins to the new paper wallet address. No. You may create as many wallets/addresses as you want and don't save their private keys/backup seed.
The sole purpose of this information is to guarantee access to your wallet/address and its coins if there is any problems in the future or if you want to use them in another device. Since the wallet is empty, it doesn't matter.

Blockchain.info already providing this function/option e-mail and sms all for free without any deduction even if they want to they couldn't because they have no access to your funds. you could also receive notification if you import an address as a watch only.
Blockchain will only send you a notification when you receive a transaction. This is not the purpose of this tool. Just read the title and you will understand what is this website for. "Get notified when your Bitcoin transaction is confirmed"
"This website is only accessible from the United States."

I use Bitkey for my long-term storages. It's as easy as downloading and flashing the image in a flash drive, so the regular user won't have any problems with creating a safe environment without having to sacrifice their safety for convenience.
I imagine that you could download several tools for other altcoins - like MyEtherWallet - and use it in the same offline device along with the traditional Electrum wallet for BTC.

You can't do anything but send them a support ticket and wait (probably for a long time) until they answer you and maybe unfreeze your account. Poloniex has one of the worst supports I have ever seen and you need to be ready to risk waiting more than 1 month for an answer.
If you have a huge amount of money in your account (something with 6 digits), you could create a reddit thread in /r/bitcoin, which will very likely reach the front page and force them to answer you.

It's also not profitable to do faucets, but people tend to spend their day doing captchas for cents - even if it's not worth the eletricity. This kind of web mining is just an extra "income" for those that just want a few satoshis just by letting their PC idling without having to do any investment or hard work. There's a user base for everything.

That's just stupid. How can Mycelium, one of the most used BITCOIN wallets, prefers to focus on integrating Bitcoin Cash and Dash (?) instead of adding Segwit support? This + all the russian ICO bullshit are two of the main reasons why I'm uninstalling the app and starting to use Samourai for my mobile transactions.

I haven't even seen a wallet supporting segwit transaction yet.
There are a few already. - Armory - BitGo - Bitcoin Core by using the "addwitnessadress" console command. No easy UI implementation yet; - GreenBits, GreenAddress and Airbitz for android; Also, Electrum will probably support Segwit in the near future.

If coins mixing is so effective and a solution for dirty coins then why high level people from deep web markets and those who has enough coins to pay theses services wont used them to clean their thousand of coins? They always got caught. I can't believe they are so stupid to make little mistakes that send them to jail.
lol? They do use mixers or use other "privacy-type" altcoins like Monero or Zcash (like... always); And they never get caught because of their coins getting tracked. But instead, most of them make common mistakes that make them look dumber than they are. Since I don't think you know shit about what you are talking about, you should definitely read those articles to know how Ulbricht (Silk Road) and Alexandre Cazes (Alphabay) got caught: http://edition.cnn.com/2013/10/04/world/americas/silk-road-ross-ulbricht/index.htmlhttps://www.forbes.com/sites/thomasbrewster/2017/07/20/dark-web-drugs-to-suicide-accused-alexandre-cazes/

You just posted a link to a reddit thread that links to a commit where they reverted their "replay protection" which is opt-in. Which means that you last line is contradicting with the rest of your post. They don't have any replay protection, which makes it harder to get B2X included on exchanges.
|
|
|
Since you have your backup phrase, you should be ok. Do the following:
1. Open Electrum and select to create a new wallet. 2. Select "Wallet with two-factor authentication" -> I already have a seed -> Paste your backup seed and click next. 3. In the next step, select "Disable" to turn off 2FA from your wallet. 4. Now you should be able to spend your coins without any 2FA code.

And if so, how much?
I don't think so. Maybe a few exchanges start trading a B2X IOU token in the future, just like what happened with Bitcoin Cash in the ViaBTC exchange. And if there is no replay protection, would the addresses be the same or not? If not, the transaction would not happen in the other chain, but since there's no replay protection, they will be using the same addresses, and so money will be traded in the other chain too. Will this cause issues with other addresses not involved in the trade?
Addresses will probably be the same if they just make a plain clone of Bitcoin. For example, Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash are sharing the same addresses and the same private keys. The problem is that without replay protection you may end up spending coins in one chain and your transaction getting broadcasted at the same time in the other chain. So, if you want to send 0.5 BTC to someone, you may end up sending 0.5 BTC and 0.5 B2X to the desired address; And if B2X already have a future market (like what happened with BCH), will it cause a price drop in the real BTC?
Bitcoin price didn't drop because of BCH taking a part of the market. So if Bitcoin keeps being the "main chain", the price will get getting higher. How much will be safe to send and receive BTC in the main chain?
We will know when the fork time arrives.
|
|
|
So if I'm understanding this right if I have not already got my bitcoin cash I can just send it to the likes of bitrex and will automatically get bitcoin cash?
No. 1. If you had Bitcoin in your wallet before the fork = You also have the same amount of Bitcoin Cash in your address. 2. If you had Bitcoin in your BittRex account before the fork = You also automatically got the same amount of BCH deposited in your account. This is all BEFORE the fork. Now, if you send Bitcoin to your BitTrex account you will only see Bitcoins in your balance; If you send Bitcoin Cash, you will only see Bitcoin Cash.

Any problem with chipmixer site? I can't access it right now. Well, I'm accessing it through chrome browser, and just got 504 gateway time out. There's no problem with my connection, or I should access it through tor browser?
It's not only you. My first thought was that they were still getting DDOS'ed, but neither the clearnet nor the Tor version are working on my side.

TBH, Such threads create a fear as i am about to start using Electrum from today. I have been using LBC type of wallets but i heard they aren't safe. So I just finished setting up the portable version of Electrum and it asked my email ID but i didn't receive any confirmation email at all, so i am unable to confirm if i am doing it right.
AFAIK Electrum doesn't ask for your email for a default wallet. Can you provide more info about this? Also, phishing you from Electrum is kinda hard, since Electrum is a software. Your only concern would be avoiding a fake website that has a fake Electrum with malwares. My guess it that OP has fallen for a phising version of the website he is using to buy Bitcoin.
