1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 13, 2023, 10:56:13 AM
True it depends on your coin because Bitcoin and top coins like Ethereum or BNB are very suitable for long term investment,
so when we try to hold it in the long term of course it's not greed,
other than that storing shitcoin for a long time will only be a waste of time.
Not just your time will be wasted but also your money. Why invest in shitcoins if you can buy coins with potential to grow even it takes a long period to profit? The problem is many investors are still investing in shitcoins because they want to earn in a short period, so despite of the risk, they still blindy investing because of their greed. So the choice is up to us, it's our hard-earned money anyway that we'll going to invest.
1422  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcasino.io 🖤 - #1 VIP Crypto Casino on: January 13, 2023, 04:08:59 AM

For what's happening the market today it make people feel excited back to follow how the market move these days and 19k level is almost reached so most provably anytime today we can see this price to hit up especially many people got hype on the situation and many believe that this will continue until we see a bull run again.

This time is great to drop your prediction since maybe the $20k price level will be hit in future.

I think everybody is happy that the price is going up indeed and hopefully this trend can continue. I think it will be able to cross the 19k level but the 20k level will be a big resistance and we might see a drop than again, as some people will take profit.

But I guess seeing some traders to take some profit when reaching that level is normal but if they continue to see some constant bullish condition then maybe we can see majority of traders buy for thinking that they are more to come especially the 20k price you guys mentioned come. Although resistance is strong but it could happen and maybe we can see some participants will drop their prediction at this figures.
The price of Bitcoin is indeed unpredictable because after moving sideways for months ($16k value), now the price turn upward fast and currently moving to break the 18k level. This is good news for traders doing short term, they might sell or buy more, we can see the outcome in the next few days. If the price plunged again then probably investors/traders take advantage the sudden increase. I might drop my prediction later of the deadline to see if there's a changes.
1423  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you still holding your coins #btc on: January 13, 2023, 03:07:34 AM
I'm still holding my Bitcoin because I believe holding for long period is the best strategy if your goal is to to be a huge gainer.

However, there are times i'm really in need and have no choice but to sell some especially last year. I had to sell my Bitcoin to buy additional items for our shop and for house renovation. So this year, I'd like to increase my holdings through buying and keeping my profit from the sig as much as possible. Anyway, it's good to see the price slowly recovering because it's been a while since we last saw the price had a positive movement.
1424  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Signs of a better year for btc investors on: January 13, 2023, 01:19:39 AM
At this moment we can hope for the rise to continue and maybe hit a point where investors can boost of a good profit added to their btc coins.
Well, it's not bad to look forward for a consistent price increase but better to not have high hopes since we're not certain if this is the start or just a temporary recovery.

I was directed here and have learnt alot and i will no longer call it a hasty decision if i were to get my own btc in my own wallets but i haven't gathered enough finance to do that and am looking to sell some of my old stuffs which am no longer using to start my own bitcoin journey. I have some stuffs like an old TV set, some old cooking gas and sone rusty old furnitures in my house which i think can fetch me some reasonable amount of money to start this journey and the good part of it is that I don't use these stuffs so its better to sale it and use the money for my bitcoin investment.
If you started selling your old stuffs when the price is ranging to $16k (the price is stuck to that price for months) then you probably see the result now of buying at lower price. Anyway, it's not surprising why many investors chose to engage themselves when they see a significant growth because they're thinking bad days already passed. But anything can happen and we don't know what lies ahead so be prepared.
1425  Local / Pilipinas / Re: Negative Perception sa PH Crypto Start-up project on: January 12, 2023, 10:25:32 PM
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Learn from my mistake, these people aren't playing on: January 12, 2023, 08:34:03 AM
Be careful out there famz, these scammers are not playing
Scammers are doing their best to fool the people. That's why if you didn't dig deeper before investing you might really end up as one of their many victim. Usually those are the people who are lazy to conduct their own diligent research and just joining the hype without any idea of the risk for doing so. That's why it's necessary for all of us to be extra careful and always exert an effort to know if you're investing in the right project. This is, if you don't want to learn the hard way.
1427  Economy / Economics / Re: Every passing year seems progressively worse on: January 12, 2023, 07:53:29 AM
It's true that since the time the pandemic hit us it seems the unfortunate happenings never stop. As you have mentioned many worse things happened that affect everyone of us regardless of our status in life.

For me, after covid pandemic, the rest next to it is already manageable because covid is the worst. Imagine we can't work, we're restricted to go outside because of the fear to get infected but still many people lost their lives. Good for you if you have food to eat at home but we know people from low class experienced hunger resulting for them to become sick yet unable to go to the hospital because of the covid cases patients, not to mention the expenses. But despite of all that happened and the current situation we are in, still we're able to survive and still doing fine, it's something to be thankful for.
1428  Economy / Gambling / Re: What sort of Weekly & Monthly Bonuses do Bitcointalk members want? on: January 12, 2023, 07:13:03 AM
A lot of people on this forum seemingly gamble with the main objective being to get these sorts of bonuses, so I imagine the more frequent the bonuses, the more members will be trying to earn them.  So long as it's profitable and you have the free development time to continue offering special events, it seems like a win-win for everyone.  I think people must actually enjoy chasing the bonuses, like a sort of game, otherwise they wouldn't be so popular.  So if it's making people money and everyone is having fun, why not toss as many out there as you have time to?
This has a point. Creating bonuses are part of a working business so you can actually create as many as you can depending on your casino bankroll, and as long as players will keep their interest to it as players will always love chasing bonuses to earn more profits. But of course, although it’s a win-win scenario, casino should always have the highest edge than its players.
I agree. Many users already gave their replies so probably op already have an idea what to add on their platform to satisfy their gamblers. More bonus, rakeback, promotions or anything that can attract the gamblers are a good way to keep them playing. In my case I like seeing a casino with a weekly promotion, and you'll be eligible for the reward if you reach the wagering requirement. It can tempt the player to keep playing especially if the reward is good enough. There's a casino who have this kind of promotion before and it's a success since many gamblers are joining.

I am new here on forum and I want to share my problem

Actually, you're not that new here.. according to your post history, you've been spamming this thread with same text for 8 months now:

I am new here on forum and I want to share my problem
Because he's still hoping 1xbit will resolve the issue. But obviously it's not possible since this case happened months ago and he is just being ignored. Imagine when he lose his money, everything is fine, but when he tried to withdraw, 1xbit refused. If you're in his shoes how would you feel? Well, knowing the reputation of 1xbit, cases similar to this is not new. That's why many accusations remain unresolved because they don't have the will to address it. So be aware newbies don't play on this platform.
1430  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: SIM Registration: Anong Dapat Ipag-alala? on: January 11, 2023, 07:42:06 AM
Ma tra2ce na tayong lahat panigirado dahil jan.  Siguro ito yung planB doon sa rumours na dapat injeckan lahat ng tao ng chips  for a reason." iwan ko kung anu yon basta yung time ng covid yun". IMV lang ha. Lol
1431  Other / Archival / Re: who played here? on: January 11, 2023, 04:49:29 AM
This guy have requested about the existence and the trust of the casino and went away. He hasn't mentioned anything on the conclusion reached. Why people look for such casinos when we've got a good list of trusted platforms for gambling. Same as this we can see more threads being created and this too a way to make people discuss about the platform as well to give a try. In all way people getting trapped can't be saved, if they're ready for it.
a Shill account maybe? though it has been mentioned above and I believe that he denied that fact yet who will believe about that when it is obvious the intention is to promote this site here?
That's possible. The site he mentioned is not familiar to the gamblers here and if his intention is to ask a casino/sportsbook with such odds then he can ask without the need to shill the unfamiliar site. Well, we used to this kind of tactic to promote a new site thus many of us are already aware of what casino to trust. What's the point of trying an unfamiliar casino if we have plenty of trusted casinos here that we can choose from, right?
1432  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can we really make a living in sports betting? on: January 11, 2023, 01:28:10 AM
I heard lots of stories online that there are people who are making a living in sports betting, and honestly it really inspires me that's why I'm still gambling now. So I'm just curious, do we have members of the forum here that are making a living in sports betting? Can they share some inputs on how to be successful like them?

I hope they will share so we will know if it's really possible. I mean, as the saying goes, casinos always win because they have the advantage, so how come people are making a living in sports betting?
It's possible that there might be gamblers out there who are earning a living through sports betting because they're knowledgeable of what they are doing to possibly use it as their main source of income. However, even sports betting is not relying alone in luck (since knowledge and strategy are necessary in order win) still, it has risk because it's gambling.

Therefore, if you're a gambler, it's enough that you are somehow winning when you bet and not treating it as your source to make a living. Having another job that can give you a stable income is still much wiser since you're not depending on luck just like in gambling.
1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We have been told: Invest only Extra money in bitcoin on: January 10, 2023, 08:07:23 AM
Because that's how it should be, only invest an extra money that you can afford to lose since there's no guarantee of gaining no matter how promising and profitable Bitcoin can be. We still don't know what lies ahead hence its just right to invest your extra and don't have high hopes. Imagine if you invest the money meant for important things and needed already after a month and then the price of Bitcoin is not what you expected it to be, probably you'll already sell even at loss since you have no choice but to get the money that you invested.

But when you invest extra that you don't rely on, you can wait even it takes longer and that's the difference of the both scenarios. So what would be the best choice? If you can't afford investing at this moment but you're determine to do so, then do something to make it possible.
1434  Other / Archival / Re: What casinos are safe on: January 10, 2023, 04:17:24 AM
Is OP ever coming back?
After asking the question, he abandoned this thread and never made any post after. It seems he is not even interested to read the suggestions here so I don't think he will come back.

But it seems this thread is also helpful to the new comers of the forum that are gamblers at the same time.
Helpful if they take time reading the informative replies and the most recommended casinos of the gamblers. This can prevent them from playing in shady casinos with a bad reputation.
1435  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 10, 2023, 01:58:36 AM
~
~I'm sure they prefer to operate the account by themselves without having to think about security and risks that can be accepted at any time.
Maybe this happened because they thought that their funds were few and impossible for someone to hack.

A security measure in any platform should be taken into measure considerably. Nevertheless, a platform like a gambling site should not make a 2-factor authentication setting being enforced as mandatory.

A unique complex strong password is enough for those gamblers, it won't be possible for a hacker to aggressively brute force any account since another layer of security measures will prevent such a scenario from happening. This is one of the reasons why many digital security recommendations are suggesting using a strong and unique password on every site.
I agree. That's why it is advisable to use a strong password to protect our account. As I have said in my earlier post, i'm not using a 2fa in my account since I dont leave huge funds there (often, it has a few dollars only for my next gambling session). I'm just using a strong password and a different ones for my other accounts like my email add so incase something went wrong, it won't be easy for the hacker to invade my other accounts.
1436  Economy / Gambling / Re: Duelbits.com | Casino & Sportsbook | VIP | Instant withdrawals! on: January 09, 2023, 08:09:13 AM

There are people who keep their money with casinos but they should be legit but they also cash out the winning keeping up the flow and yes keeping it for long term maybe risky as some problems may occur restricting you to withdraw the money from your account. So my choice is to cash out winning keeping small amount to wager on normal basis.

I do the same, I always make that there is a small amount on the casino so I have some funds to gamble but I will always cash out if the sum gets too high. The only site, I have a quite high amount on is freebitco.in because of the interest.
Regardless how big and trusted the platform, if it is centralized, it would be wise to not keep a huge amount in your account because unexpected thing can always happen. Therefore leaving a small amount to gamble is a good decision (i'm doing the same thing as well) since it's also easy to deposit if you want to start playing with huge funds. But don't use your account as wallet as it is not advisable unless you're frequently playing as an active gambler for the specific casino.
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A superstitious strategy? on: January 09, 2023, 05:16:21 AM
Now, let's be some superstitious and say, if you play only when luck appears to be on your side, would you call that a good strategy?
For me no, it can't be called strategy since you'll never know when will luck can possibly hit you. What if you started playing with losses and just gave up early not knowing your luck to win is just around the corner (of course we can't be certain about this) how would you know this if you already stop playing? That's why it's not a strategy and just a common sense for every gamblers to continue playing if they're in winning streak and vice versa.
1438  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: You Learn More from Losses than from Wins on: January 09, 2023, 04:10:46 AM
Remember the first lesson you learned as a beginner trader? Did it come from a loss or a win?
When I was a beginner, I have someone who taught and guide me as a trader and I think that's my advantage compared to other beginners who learned on their own. However, because of my over confidence to think I know everything already, my first experience is a loss (good thing I used small amount on my first try). That's how I realized my mistakes on why it happened. It's really true that losses will teach you something to do better next time and for me it's not that bad since the bad experience gave me an idea and knowledge on how things work if you're doing an actual trading.
1439  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Excessive greed is detrimental to investment on: January 09, 2023, 01:41:34 AM
Having greed is good, its the stupid mistakes that make you lose money. Greed is wanting more money, holding more than you should is not "greed", its a mistake, if you know what you are doing then you would sell at the top and buy at the bottom and make more money aka be greedy.

So all in all, do not make all the mistakes confused with each other, because emotions in trading world is very dangerous and mistaking which emotion is which could be even worse and that's an important thing.
You made mistake because of your greed to hold more and I see no difference. If you want more then that means you're greedy and it's not just a mistake because you're the one who decide to take that risk, hoping to gain. Well, it's a human nature to be greedy, because who don't want to earn more than you should right? But we need to control ourselves and think of the present. If you already earn then take profit already, buy back and hold. It just depends on our strategy on how to take advantage the opportunity for our own benefit.
1440  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: January 08, 2023, 08:59:54 AM
<snip>
As far as I know, if the casino has 2fa feature, most of the time it is optional when it comes to logging in. On the other hand, though I had experienced some which has 2FA in withdrawal transactions, for some, it is not mandatory. But for me this one should be always mandatory since this is a withdrawal. On top of if, I think casino can make it mandatory but probably they had chosen to be on the "user preference" side, so they did not.
In Roobet this is optional, you can still use their casino even 2fa is disable. However, once you need to withdraw your funds, you need to enable the 2fa because it is mandatory for withdrawal transaction. Well, 2fa is a good layer of security, but I opted not to use this in the casinos where I play unless necessary. Because I don't leave funds in my account so I do not worry. But of course it is advisable for our own protection.
