14321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New Coin Idea - Lucky Coin on: January 15, 2014, 11:35:22 PM
no feedback pls?

Probably because of this:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=214614.0

There is already a lucky coin on the market which already has that random or lucky reward implemented.
14322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How much space you use with alt blockchains? on: January 15, 2014, 11:33:58 PM
With this invasion of alt coins and their growing blockchains I always wondered how many people are indeed running a full node for multiple coins.

Is there somebody who has 5-10 different clients running the same time? How much space are your favorites using on your hdd? (or ssd).
And most important , which ones?
14323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why I stopped mining BTC and went to BET. on: January 15, 2014, 11:24:05 PM
And when the betacoin is going to be used by a lot of online shops and becomes a commodity those people will change their minds Smiley

Oh , yeah , that's every shitcoinclone wet dream.
Too bad it ain't happening.

All the altcoins have less than 1% of the shops bitcoin has , and the difference is only getting bigger by the day.

14324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Coinyecoin is alive again! Help us get the net hashrate up. exchange will be up on: January 15, 2014, 11:21:41 PM
"Coinyecoin is alive again!"

Did I miss the party? Was this coin dead?
This just confirms my theory that only bad things come back to life , or cheap imitations.

So, you OP are a fair Lier! Smiley

More likely a skinny Nigerian Prince. Smiley
14326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: New CryptoCurrency PowerCoin - Backed by power on: January 15, 2014, 11:12:42 PM
Interesting coin , the way I see it , it will unfold like this:

Powercoin launched
Lights out
Clonecoin dead.
14327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [POLL] What happens when Cryptsy opens the USD markets? on: January 15, 2014, 11:08:01 PM
Shouldn't BTC be affected as well and included in the poll?

Because if this might indeed happen some people will trade xyz for usd instead of btc.
Of course the volume is small compared to other exchangers but in theory should have some kind of impact.
14328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FairQuark | FRQ | CPU Mining | 4% Fair Pre-mine | Get in NOW! | on: January 15, 2014, 10:57:25 PM
4% of 247 mil? Worst premine ever. You will dump as soon as this hits an exchange.
What is the diff between 4% of 247M or 4% of 10? WTF, this is basic math, it's exactly the same premine, not worse, not better.

Do your basic math for a few seconds yourself.
It is worse than 3% , 2% and 1% out  of 247mils.
The only good premine is 0 our of whatever.
14329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FairQuark | FRQ | CPU Mining | 4% Fair Pre-mine | Get in NOW! | on: January 15, 2014, 10:52:03 PM
So we have sunken so low , that a 4% premine can be called fair?
And , furthermore , this is the only difference?

What;s next? Fairytalefairquark? with only 3% premine ? Feels like advertising beverages here.
14330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin is the best and best grow up? on: January 15, 2014, 10:48:11 PM
KlondikeCoin [KDC]

Why?

Because hashrate is growning and we are already a few days live. Difficulty is growning... and ONLY 20M coins!!!

So , if it has a big hashrate is it a good coin? And difficulty is tied to the hashrate so it's not a second argument.

It's just another shitclone , that stirs up a bit of hype , and will slowly drown in a sea of retarded clones.
14331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GetVisaCoin::Sibling of NXT::Born for retribution & deterrent on: January 15, 2014, 10:33:34 PM

First , let me say that I wished a lot that I would soon see a few of the people scamming on this forum thrown in a prison somewhere in Nigeria for 20 years with something big and full of needles stick down their "something"

But , what you're saying here , promoting and asking for starts to resemble the thing (among others) that put dpr into prison.
Careful , because even what you're doing might become illegal.

I have thought a lot about that issue.

I am trying to organise for a freelance private investigator in china to find a guy. If he finds the guy and persuades him to return the bitcoins to a trusted third party, the private investigator gets paid half of the bitcoins, and VisaCoin goes back to his life.

If someone can show me how that is illegal then I would stop GetVisaCoin immediately. I'm not a suicide bomber.

But I am worried about the growth of scammers now. They can easily destroy the reputation for all crypto currencies, and nobody else is doing anything, so scam deterrence is zero.

Does anybody think it's worth going to the police? Where? China?

This is the situation - massive incentives to scam with no deterrent at all, and little chance of consequences. GetVisaCoin is an attempt to do something.

It's up to the private investigator to decide how best to achieve the objective. I'm not a mirco manager, and I don't like violence at all.

This is the shitty real world , where it's easy to break the law, but when you have to be brought to justice , the police have to follow the law in order to get you or you walk free.
I have the feeling that the more human rights and laws designed for people we add up, the more we protect criminals and risk the lives and wealth of normal citizens.
14332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: January 15, 2014, 10:25:26 PM
Back to the hashrate discussion:

http://forum.qrk.cc/thread/461/qrk-coinmine-pl?page=4
Is this even real?

If you are mining at Feeleep's pool ( qrk.coinmine.pl/ ), please switch immediately to another pool like mine-pool.net/qrk/ .
Feeleep's pool now controls 97% of the hashing power of the Quark network and it puts Quark under the risk of a 51% attack, which will irreversibly damage the reputation of Quark just like it happened with TRC and FTC during summer. Read more about the Feeleep's pool situation here www.reddit.com/r/QuarkCoin/comments/1usxmz/feeleeps_pool_accounts_for_978_of_quarks_total/

And as the reward goes down , so did the hashrate for the last two adjustments.
14333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Alt-Coins on: January 14, 2014, 12:36:22 PM
QBT https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=411065.0 looks fine. It has real difference comparing to other coins. But the coin still does not have good logo, site and forum. So in my opinion it is time for developers to set a reward for logo and site.

What is its real difference compared to other alt coins?

The.............name.
This is the only difference between alts.
Blockreward , you'll find two with same distribution , block time , you'll find 10 , number of coins ... same?
Same owner (creator, dev) ? you'll find at least two created by the same person.

The name is the only difference.
14334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [QRK] Quark | Super secure hashing | CPU mining on: January 14, 2014, 12:32:08 PM
i invested on quark and latest prices really hurt me. We expect more marketing from big owners...

Bitcoin itself is in trouble , nobody knows where will go , FUD is flying and being tossed everywhere , so the alt scene is all in pain.
14335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GetVisaCoin::Sibling of NXT::Born for retribution & deterrent on: January 14, 2014, 12:30:00 PM
The whole debate: nxt clone , new clone , redistribute the money back to the investors should take place after you catch visacoin.

Ups , should take place after you catch visacoin and manage to get yout bitcoins back.
Sometimes , people who worship bitcoin like a god , next day , when their plans don't match their previous beliefs forget everything.

Wasn't bitcoin a tool to safe guard your wealth? One that even the government can't touch?
How do you plan on forcing visacoin to give you back the coins?
How do you plan , even if you take him in court to prove "he" owns those bitcoins now?

I would advise you to get the bitcoins back first then plan what to do with the.

If we find VisaCoin I am sure he can be 'persuaded' to return the bitcoins. I don't advocate violence, and there are other ways, but it wouldn't be up to me. Whoever claims the bounty will have used a method that they are comfortable with. I wont tell people who find him what to do. If they find him, and he wont co-operate, then they might use some coercion. That seems highly likely. But 70+ bitcoins is a lot of money in China, so getting VisaCoin to co-operate might be hard, but there is an incentive to make it happen.

I would hope the law in china can be used, and maybe VisaCoin can be prosecuted, but I know nothing of chinese legal system. Unfortunately if VisaCoin is found, he may suffer in a way that I can't control.

I hope VisaCoin thinks things over and returns the bitcoin. He knows he is at risk now. If my announcement gets translated and posted in the chinese forum, things will happen.

Block reward down to 4:  http://quarkexplorer.com/block/544320

and a 600 drop in difficulty , let's see where this goes... becoming interesting

Well , you could at least have posted an url for them , thanks omnomnomnom  for doing so.

They do have some kind of address and a phone number that would be the only +.
They take only wire transfers and bitcoin payments  that's a big -

Relative new website , 1 month old , and poor design along with crappy tos and description.

I wouldn't order from them.
14339  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin bubble won't last without Beijing's approval on: January 13, 2014, 07:16:42 AM
This is probably one of the worst articles I've ever read.  Well , almost read it all cause I almost stopped at the first paragraph.

"Bitcoin is a Ponzi scheme masquerading as a futuristic currency. It was a small bubble until it found China last year. But when the Chinese government launched its crackdown, it was the beginning of the end. Its recent revival is merely the last gasp. No retail Ponzi scheme can last without the credulous and speculative masses in China."

And then , out of pure curiosity I wanted to read it all and managed to get half way , but it started to sound like some communist propaganda so no , this is one thing I won't waste another second with.

14340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sasha Grey Coin (That's right - Sasha Grey - the dirtiest babe on earth)!!! on: January 13, 2014, 06:54:57 AM

No need to be concerned. Usually I am busy making porn so my time is limited. And I will not be working alone on this project. My part is the marketing.
Any better idee than using a pornqueen for marketing? I don't think so....  Grin

Any idea what a Sasha Grey licence costs? We are talking 20000USD upwards. I am not begging, either you guys get onto this porntrain - or get out of the way!  Shocked

By avoiding all my other question and sprouting utter nonsense I call this:

SCAM , with a bit of pathetic begging

And you obviously have never jerked off to Sasha Grey  Shocked

Did you even considered the possibility of me being a female?
And , btw , who the f** is Sasha Grey , anyway? Just another 1 in a million pornstar?

This thread is obvious s scam run by a 12 yo.
