The more I think about it, the less I think that any kind of proxy scheme is either needed or justified. Ok, removed the proxy issue from the post. Really? what if higher learning institutions required students to be able to tie their shoestrings right every time. ... a universe without relativity? here we are a bunch of wanna-be s (wanna be rich? well, ya) and we're sayin you gotta be rich to join the board seems a contradiction so will the zeit centered universe be without charity?

Great Coin, where to buy? you can vote for it's acceptance on C-Cex https://c-cex.com/?id=vote i'm a little bit worried about the network; i've had an old gpu mining away at 'bout 88mh for the last month or so and doin OK, getting a block every couple mins. then just for fun i put the laptop cpu on it ... getting 250,000 hashes per sec and ...getting about 5 blocks a minute. curious, i put the desktop cpu on it and "hashespersec" : 1,553,373, .... and ... ~20 blocks a minute i can still send coins from lappy to pc, but it takes an hour or so to show up. so what's goin' on? are we forked or what? [edit] oh, nvm... i just checked w/the block explorer, seems i'm somewhere out in never-never land, that is, if the block explorer is right http://104.131.234.129/block_crawler.php[edit#2] nvm that either. it's the link from the OP, but it ain't explorin' vegancoin guess i might as well call it the right fork as i seem to be the only person on earth mining this? what is the block-time for this coin?

everyone is (((lurking))) everyone should (((buy or sell or tip))) Exciting news for BCC holders and wanna-be holders: BCC is back on an exchange - https://cryptorush.in/market#/market/BCC-BTC
Some of you may know cryptorush was hacked (several times) last spring and lost a bunch of coins, but they are being rebuilt from scratch by new owners, who are promising to repay everyone who comes back to claim their cryptorush v1.0 account balances. Here is a video of the new owner explaining the hacks and his takeover at grrcon in October: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0K9xK5t9ckcI've tested BTC withdrawals on cryptorush v2.0 and they do work There's not much volume yet, but quite a few buy orders, all the way up to ~150 satoshi, which is much higher than BCC was trading before it got delisted from Poloniex, just need to get some sellers on there to get things moving a bit. Happy trading i put a few asks on there. nice. low vol for now, no pressure. thanks BitcoinNational everyone should (((buy or sell or tip))) and where sir is your siggy?

appreciate that groggin. you just have those addresses in your conf file? I tried adding them into my MammothCoin.conf and still no connections groggin is an interesting name to use...you ever in the 25th ID? i got the list by typing getpeerinfo into the CLI, then you need to move the addys to your .conf: addnode=217.118.64.55:54976 addnode=94.158.152.169:11710 addnode=107.128.25.135:57860 addnode=69.67.47.238:56993 addnode=75.32.14.39:53309 addnode=137.135.60.250:1176 addnode=92.222.38.197:34138 ... and no, have too many IDs already

overall i think that cooperation is always superior to competition. when raised to the levels it exists in the fiat/business world, competition is horribly wasteful of resources. (the war machine requires LOTS of grease) and the same applies to the crypto world, yet they go hand in hand, one cannot exist without the other. i think the key here is we need to learn how to cooperate, while still standing separately. to that 'end' i wish us all the best!

Any word on the PoS fix?
We recently discussed the bounty with a programmer. I will keep everyone posted on the outcome i've noticed that there are several 2nd gen (if you will ) coins with non working PoS. THC, MTLMC, & XHC come to mind, perhaps others, idk if these coins are related (forkwise), but if they are, some exo-communification and pooling resources might be beneficial

Hi all
So I have talk with Ferdous and I will need the community approval to get the wallet.
This is how I see this.
1- I will get the wallet and the data about it.
2- With the help of all the foundation, I will send back all coin to the owner.
3- You will need a proof of you adress so that we can confirm that the coin are your.
So please approve it or propose a better way.
(ex: Valkir I agree with this.)
Thanks
Valkir

fwiw a good step to avoid the bot-net feedback loop: avoid google, bing etc., try ixquick, scroogle etc. first thing i do when installing a browser is to change the default search engine to one that does not permanently log ip then install hostsman and let it run (be sure to update it) then spybot s&d and use it
all my friends comps default to bing or whatever, their machines are infected, (with bad cookies, (bots) not viruses (viri?)) searches redirected for comercial purposes, they live in a search bubble that they don't want to break. they come to me for a fix, i give them the above advice and they ignore it. so it goes ...

I'm still working on a shop selling hemp products to our, and especially other crypto communities (logo'ed). I have producers, suppliers, wholesalers and site in place. My stumbling block is I have no cash/liquidity and not a lot of Hempcoin, but I believe in hemp, wear hemp clothes, and used to mine. I also have time at my disposal as have no job but care for kids at home. Now the price is low I was wondering if a bounty could be enabled to help me set up. I would initially open with a few desirable products, t-shirts/bags/caps but have a vast range at my disposal. Payments would be taken in Hempcoin/btc/fiat. Anyone any thoughts or can help? I have background in marketing and online retail setup (oscommerce).
boy, now's a good time to start something like this for anyone ... a kickstarter fund? hmm ... would need some kind of admin ... @minted - maybe for starters make a sig

AM -^ above shows that oldest coins are weeks old -^ and after a full day of staking - no coins -^ so i deleted everything from the roaming folder, except .dat, .log, and .conf to re-index the blockchain... and still NO STAKE

Could it be changed in a way that the public Key would be in front and the private key would be on side to fold and hide? That would make so much more sense. **PIC REMOVED**
It took too long to send coins to all the paper wallets. Paper wallets are also difficulty for a normal person to import. The HTML5 wallet is going to handle promotions 100x better than the paper wallets.
Paper wallets are useful if you want to securely store coins.
I just tried out the paper wallet and can confirm it is working. It took a long time to importprivkey, like 5 minutes. It did work though.
What happened to this design? That looks much better and has the info on logical positions. The shine is easily removed, don't worry about that. The source file isn't a vector unfortunately, like I've said I'm no graphic designer, it's easier to deal with image. The full sized image is 512x512 but it wouldn't take much to get someone better than me to improve it later. I'll give it a shot converting it but don't get your hopes up. Here's a full-size coin without shine **PIC REMOVED** Paper wallet: **PIC REMOVED** Any thoughts? i agree with vesipyks, the layout should be redesigned to fold into thirds, so that the 1/3 (on one end) will have the privkey on it and be folded under the face 1/3, to be taped/laminated, you could cut the tape with a sharp knife to open it. also, there's a lot to be said for designing proactively twards using minimal ink; transparency, simplicity, etc ... printing out 1k of these could use what? maybe $30 -$50 dollars worth of the stuf ...
