1442  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: December 27, 2019, 05:49:19 PM
Liverpool is taking the league very very seriously this season, they weren't worried about the league last season because they failed the champions league when nobody even expected them to be in finals but with Salah gone and Madrid beating them they were focused on getting the revenge so they put all their efforts on champions league (beating Barça 4-0 was just a historical moment) and now that they managed that, they want the league more than ever, it has been decades and it is time, they knew they had the talent and sure they would love to get another champions league title but if the tossup was between champions league and premier league, they want the premier league more than ever now.

Beating the second place team 4-0? That is just shows how absurdly better they are than anyone else.
1443  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have You Counted Or Estimate All Your Losses And.... on: December 27, 2019, 02:02:09 AM
I once tried to calculate it but there are few times where I don't remember how much I started with and lost in the end. I normally play with regular amounts so it is usually always around the same number, but I have been gambling for too long so I don't recall the early days and how much I must have lost there.

I know that I have lost over 10 bitcoins in total for the past years but I can't find an exact number since I gambled in plenty of places and not remember all of them plus some don't have data going back too long. Long story short if I kept my money with me instead of gambling it would have been better for me but this is just a fun thing that I try to entertain myself with, if I got 10 bitcoins worth of entertainment out of it then it was totally worth it.
1444  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is YouTube Now Cracking Down on Crypto Related Contents? on: December 27, 2019, 12:43:34 AM
Crypto influencers are frustrated and confused by YouTube deleting crypto-related content on its platform

Based on Twitter and Reddit threads, YouTube suddenly began deleting a number of cryptocurrency videos on Dec. 23.

YouTuber Chris Dunn, whose channel has over 210,000 subscribers, noticed on Monday that the platform had removed all of his videos that mentioned cryptocurrencies.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cryptocurrency-influencers-speak-out-on-youtube-deleting-crypto-related-content?utm_source=Telegram&utm_medium=social
YouTube? Well, they have always had a fraught relationship and now they have turned worse. And for sure it is not every crypto content on YouTube that’s really bad, there are lots of good videos that can be helpful to people on how to access cryptocurrencies.

But, I won’t blame them for going on a crypto videos deleting spree without even checking whether the videos are good or not, there are lots of videos on YouTube that are related to cryptocurrencies and they wouldn’t have the time to go through all to know what they are really all about. There are still videos about cryptocurrency that are still not deleted, maybe they have their reasons for deleting the ones they deleted.
1445  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My Points Why Crypto Future Will Be Totally Unstoppable on: December 27, 2019, 12:13:21 AM
1. Banks are very slow in their reaction towards virtual currencies yet by now over 70% of central banks around the world are looking into crypto.

2. Major changes will surely rise because bigger transnational organizations are showing interest in crypto.

3. China is really leading the way with their upcoming owned central bank digital currency (CBDC) which will be the first of its kind.

4. To add to this list of mine i read somewhere that Mark Zuckerberg is pointing out to China as the reasons why U.S should act quickly in regard to crypto, he personally believes that U.S needs to see more progress with cryptocurrencies.
Yup that’s the truth, Bitcoin is unstoppable. Being decentralized/open-source means that bitcoin will continue to grow no matter what. Bitcoin doesn’t have any Central unit that is in control of it, that means that the government will not be able to shut it down, they would have found it easy to shut down all this while if it was not like this.

China is really taking the lead with the new cryptocurrency they are about to release. I don’t really know how it’s going to work out, and whether it will gain wide adoption, but I’m looking forward to when Facebook will release their Libra. When they announced Libra I was really happy with it because a lot of companies came together to form an association to boost it, which means that it’s definitely going to be accepted by a lot of people.
1446  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: December 26, 2019, 06:47:03 PM
If we don't care about the people who are misinformed about the bots and scripts and what not and think that there is a way they could win and they end up losing because obviously the house edge is against them and they don't understand the game, we will have bunch of people who think they should have won but lost.

If those people think they figured out a way to win but lost and they come here complaining they should have won but lost there will be a little chaos, which means there will be people who are new that come here read the messages and feel like not playing here during that chaos, which would result with the investors losing money. So all in all, while you try to win money of the idiots who don't understand the game, you are losing the money of the people who do understand it.
Don't we already say the things we need to say for them to realize it is impossible for them to find a winning method?

I mean let's face it gambling is super fun and you may get lucky once in a while and make some profits but all in all this is a game where if you play long enough you will lose all your money, that is the point of casinos, to make you lose and make themselves money. Hell for places like this where there are investors it is even more obvious, you make more money investing into the website than you gamble because (obviously) gambling against house edge will make you lose whereas having the house edge will profit you.

So, everything that needs to be said about this has already been said, if people insist on trying to find a way to profit from gambling against house edge, they might as well just send their money to investors and be done with it quickly because they will lose their money and as an investor I thank them wholeheartly Cheesy.
1447  Economy / Gambling / Re: MintDice – Bitcoin Casino With Online Slots, Bitcoin Crash & Bitcoin Investment on: December 26, 2019, 05:53:07 PM
Dont underestimate how many people use and prefer mobile to desktop versions. We made that mistake, too, with our site at the beginning. Nowadays its like 15 : 85 in favour of our mobile version, leading to the fact that we ve shifted development resources from the desktop to the mobile version.
No no, that's not my idea, i mean web version should be release before mobile version, because you can still access the web version via your mobile phone with some browsers like chrome, contrary is not. You cannot use a computer to use mobile applications without emulating applications, which will be more difficult and time consuming. But anyway, the mobile version is still needed  Cheesy
Doesn't it all depend on what the website is about for example? I mean sure in gambling mobile could be something very important, on any news websites or maybe even shopping etc etc mobile is very important, nowadays there are less people spending time in front of a computer and spend more time on their mobile phones so I can understand why mobile is getting bigger and bigger.

However, if you build a website that is like a kongregate game just to give an example, mobile people will play their own games, kongregate people will play on PC (requires flash too) that is just one thing I can think of, there must be a million reasons why one website is mainly PC and not mobile, definitely plausible. Mintdice apparently have a lot of mobile users so I understand why they are moving some sources to mobile.
1448  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: it's so hard trading my day now! on: December 26, 2019, 04:20:49 PM
I am glad that I am not the only one who is having so much hard time trading bitcoin, it has been getting tougher and tougher with how much lunatic moves it does all of a sudden and then for months it is not doing anything. Like not even enough movements these days to make up for the trading fee difference and withdrawal fees for example and then suddenly it makes 20%+ movements, how the hell are we suppose to make day trading if the movements are basically either no movement at all or huge sudden movements?

I need bitcoin to move 5% or at least 3% or so every single day, otherwise day trading is for nothing, looking at altcoins and they are about the same except they are also dropping a lot and not recovering so if you get caught at a wrong price you are stuck.
1449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is YouTube Now Cracking Down on Crypto Related Contents? on: December 26, 2019, 03:50:50 PM
I am following quite few crypto related people myself as well and from what I can understand they have removed a lot from the people who talked about stuff like prices and charts and technical analysis etc etc but they also did the same for stock market people as well few months ago, so I think they do not want people to give financial advise to strangers on their platform.

For example, the people I watch and subscribe for mining related stuff are standing and none of their videos are deleted, maybe miners are getting a free pass because it looks like they are not suggesting anything to people but mostly showing others how the miners work and what they do etc etc. I kinda do understand why youtube may not want people to give out financial advise on their platform on the basis of "what if people lose money because of you" but that is kinda limiting free speech.

- Manual input of client seed is now enabled

[im g]https://i.imgur.com/jTPzWVM.png[/img]
It is cool that they actually ended up adding the manual client seed literally in few days after that was a discussion, it was obvious they weren't scamming anyone because if they were there would have been a proof already, there are so many maniac people who lose money to casinos and for some reason blame casinos for being cheaters (casinos have house edge, you will lose, there is no hidden secret to steal your money) and if wolf.bet ever tried to cheat one of those people would have figured it out.

However, this manual client seed basically just a proof, kinda of a method for wolf.bet to say "we don't steal, if you want manual, here it is" and just a show of how legitimate they are. I don't support any casinos trustworthiness 100% but this move is definitely a 100% move right here.
1451  Economy / Gambling / Re: Stake.com SPORTS BETTING NOW LIVE! 🏀 ⚾ 🏈 🎾 🥊 on: December 25, 2019, 05:05:39 PM
At first they said in the chat how much this amount was and didnt realize it was a win of nearly $10,000usd. Shocked
I guess they dont bet in xrp very much to know they are worth $0.20 each and having 50,000 of them are worth over 1 btc. Undecided
Yeah, that is the good part about playing with altcoins, you do not have to risk just a number that is very small, for example this is just above 1 bitcoin won, which we all know is a lot but at the same time you see a number like 50 THOUSAND and you think it can't be too much and turns out it is over 1 bitcoin won, it is both a bless and a curse because you may end up winning more than you assumed you would and at the same time you may end up losing more than you assumed you would.

The play by play of the games we can gamble on is a good addition by the way, I didn't know that existed neither, I know it is nowhere near the real thing but at least for those of us don't have the ability to watch the games that part of thing "may" create some sense of excitement, I say "may" because I never tried myself.
1452  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🏆 Crypto Dice Site of the Year 2019 on: December 25, 2019, 03:57:53 PM
This is still a bad poll to showcase who thinks which website is better but at least there are more votes on it now and that makes more sense. However, reality is even the most voted one is sitting around the 20ish levels right now so if any website just cared enough about this poll (they don't) they could just put all their workers and fans into the poll and can reach to 50 very easily.

When stake (the most gambled casino of the year) is not leading the way you know how much a website cares about this poll or not. Maybe a better poll could be just a ranking of how many users on average a website had for the year 2019, I know some are newer but if you made an average of user numbers of a website you will see how much it was liked by the gamblers in a much better way.
1453  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Store of Value Question on: December 25, 2019, 05:38:06 AM
Well, you do have a good point man:D that’s why you should worry about who you’re receiving Bitcoin from, but because you received it doesn’t really make you a victim. There are lots of things one should worry about when they are making use of cryptocurrency, but I have never seen anyone have this kind of issue, so you should not worry much about it.

Everyone that has committed a crime using cryptocurrency paid the price for it, I never read or heard a story that someone else suffered the consequences of another’s crime. This is one of the reasons why a lot of people want regulation and all that, but we all know that that’s not really how Bitcoin is meant to be, it’s meant to give people freedom to do whatever they like, whether good or, and sadly, bad Sad.
1454  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin might be over but blockchain will live on: December 25, 2019, 05:07:32 AM
Lol dude, who told you that bitcoin will be over? Just a fall in price doesn’t mean it’s over. BTC is a volatile asset and if you’re expecting the price to keep going up then you’re making a mistake, the price isn’t meant to be going up forever. I understand that a lot of people wants to make lots of profit and they expect the price to be going up whenever they invest, otherwise they would say that Bitcoin is dead and then they start selling their coins.

People really needs to understand that Bitcoin is a risky investment, and being risky doesn’t mean there will be chances of making money at all times, rather there is possibility that you can lose your money instead. If you’re too scared to take the risks of Bitcoin you should go for stable coins like PAX and USDT.
1455  Economy / Economics / Re: The ballast on: December 25, 2019, 02:42:08 AM
the ballast of a currency is given by the social cohesion of a society.
Bitcoin has no such characteristics, so it has no future.
You can bet against it, you just can't assess the time horizon of your downfall.
This is first time I hear the currency ballast. I don’t travel through times and I can’t tell what the future holds for cryptocurrency, but I do know that as long as the crypto community keeps growing strong Bitcoin will not die, we can definitely say they serve that purpose. The only time Bitcoin will end for good is when the community ends, because when there is nobody making use of it, it will become useless and stop functioning. Cryptocurrency is quite different from every other type of money there is.

And if it happens to end like you have said (which I know is not going to happen) there’s still nothing we can do about it than for everyone to just give up. We all understand that Bitcoin is a risky investment, so everyone should be ready for whatever that follows, and it’s one of the reasons you’re told to only save what you can afford to lose.
1456  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: December 24, 2019, 05:36:23 PM
It is nice to hear that they delivered what they promised and nice to see proof and always a great thing when a casino actually gives a reward to someone who is a bitcointalk member because we were here to witness what happened before the bet and how the winner actually won and all the reward afterwards and now we have pictures as well.

However, the most important part of the message that some people may see as a little detail actually helped me love sportsbet even more, buwaytrees said "they're gamers and sports people just like us punters" which means he probably met with people who were regular folks and not some uptight businessmen sort of horrible wall street kinda guys who want to get rich quick, sportsbet folks sound like just some regular guys who ended up building a good business but didn't let that success go to their heads which is what you need from a good owner.
1457  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | The Honest Online Casino | Daily Presents + $5000 Christmas Raffle on: December 24, 2019, 05:02:24 PM
I don't get people who support the increased house edge. You can't just tell people "we have increased the house edge but we will be giving you more rewards".

You don't know if people like that or not, you don't know if people prefer less house edge and no rewards or even less house edge and still same rewards because there are places that have Christmas giveaways and races and rewards but still keep it at 1% house edge.
If we can somehow talk to person who decided to increase the house edge would be a good idea then maybe we can put some sense into him. But right now we just have a feedback about how horrible it is to increase the house edge just because there are give aways yet the only response we get is "customers love it". Well they don't, here we are as customers who used to play here and some of us even stopped since the house edge increased and telling you that no the customers don't like it but you are not willing to listen.

If you are happy with the house edge and the amount of customers left on the casino and you are willing to lose the customers who will leave because of it, then so be it, we will leave and find a casino with better house edge and you will keep entertaining the customers who are willing to play on a higher house edge.
1458  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin on 3rd January? on: December 24, 2019, 06:22:50 AM
January 3rd 2020 will be the year that the world celebrates Bitcoin, I don’t really see anything that’s going to happen on that day Roll Eyes… what exactly do you expect to happen on that date? Unless there will be a lot of whales buying bitcoin that day or what?

I have once read that whales are buying and stockpiling Bitcoin in their wallet, and since they are buying from the Black market it’s reflecting yet. I don’t really know if that’s the truth, but when the time comes we are going to know. But as for January 3rd? Nah, I don’t believe that anything is going to happen on that day, people are just fond of hyping unnecessary things. That day will still come and you won’t see anything happen at all.
1459  Economy / Speculation / Re: What’s your expectation on 2020 Halving year?! on: December 24, 2019, 05:32:28 AM
There is going to be an increase in the price of Bitcoin. I have already seen a lot of predictions and there’s one I strongly believe, can’t remember the name the of the guy that made that prediction, seems it’s Dave or something, but he once predicted that the price of Bitcoin will fall to $3000 and that happened six months after he made that prediction (on April this year). He made another prediction that the price will be going back and he gave reasons for it. There have also been other analysts that are in support of what he has said, while some are against it.

But, I strongly believe that the price will go up in 2020 before the halving, and it will continue to go up after the halving and likely we are going to hit another ATH price. Luckily I haven’t sold any BTC I bought, I have stored them up in my wallet and hardly check it out.
1460  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 NBA Season on: December 23, 2019, 05:33:35 PM
Denver is not bad at all but what people don't realize that this didn't happened over night, look at the previous 5 years of that team (starting with even Nurkic) and how many amazing moves they have done, they literally sent Nurkic away to give Joker his minutes and to not have two quality big man fighting each other for a spot that could ruin the chemistry. They got better and better and better every year and last year was their first playoff one and now this year they will have more experience and they will know what to expect from these teams.

I am also very sad about my favorite team Spurs, they started horribly this season, normally whenever people say Spurs will be bad this season I would say Spurs have proved them wrong 20+ years now but this season it looks like they can be actually bad which really makes me sad.
