1464  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Black arrow prospero x-1??? on: December 08, 2013, 02:50:28 AM
Authorized reseller
http://www.minersource.net/black-arrow-prospero-x-1-100gh-s/

If your looking to make it rich..
If your looking to set it up and forget it, stock away a few coins and hope they make you rich. It could be worth it.

Catch 22, you could get this in the mail and BTC is $100 a coin. so you wasted money as the coins would of been better. When it arrives coins could be $5000, which means even making one coin would be worth it..

I'm buying an X-3 Wink

Selling for 257.22€ = $351.697

Don't see the point in the GB

Thanks. That's the reseller I meant...

Because if you get caught running a group buy you loose 10%... Minesource is an authorized reseller...

Please be a little nicer to people trying to help you out.

Maybe having more than "one admin" would help.. lol

Does anyone believe these guys have 12 employees?  Roll Eyes

Seems kind of unlikely considering how slow they are, the fact that nobody seems to be able to find their corporate registration, and some people posting earlier that the address is a fake.

Well since the last post they made on there news page said "Our Admin is swamped" Not our admin team or admins.. lol
1468  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: SkyMiner Labs just a good word about them on: December 07, 2013, 06:00:42 PM

i have been waiting on verification for level 2 since november 9th.....i have been forgotten. Really need this fixed asap guys....

Doubt if you were forgotten... have you looked at the backlog? It's about a month at current progress rate. Good news is there is a TON of new accounts coming (can you say 'please sir, can we have some volume?'  Grin ) Bad news, they are coming on at a trickle compared to rate of signup over the last 2 months. Just hope the exchange can handle the new levels, since it is barely coping with the current situation. I don't think very many people/entities were prepared for this recent meteoric rise. Hopefully it is a good learning experience, because it is only just beginning.

"Date range we are working on: Nov 23 to Nov 27"

i have been forgotten/overlooked.

Ya thats a bit out of range  Shocked
Have you contacted them to see if you are one of the ones waiting for more info?

ugh, called them a few times before this big surge of bitcoin interest and they said it would be 2 or 3 days....then the huge interest came and now i can never get through on the phone.... i get it they are busy, its just annoying.

the trading engine is laggy as hell, orders goes into pending and it takes 5 minutes before you can even get to cancel it and on top of it you pay exorbitant trading fees.  I bet today during the crash people lost money because of it.

Plus the .001 fee for transferring btc is a bit much for small transfers.

I've got NO problem paying these fee's, But for this much money I'd expect to be able to email and get an answer any time of day/night..
1473  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Black Arrow announces 28nm 100Ghash Bitcoin ASIC from $1.49/Ghash on: December 07, 2013, 03:43:18 AM
Anyone who has done wire transfers and other types of payment over the pond... knows the pain it can be. Sometimes a bank visit.. always a fee.. takes several days.

Try https://transferwise.com next time.

Im shocked people are endorsing these 3rd party payment systems WHEN WE HAVE BITCOIN. Just buy some BTC and send it, fast, no fee.

You are?

Because If I pay with my VISA and they don't ship. I can't get my money back. And they are scared of this and it drive's them to provide...

If I send Bitcoins along with everyone else. we have NO way to them back. And they know that, so if they are late, why do they give a damn? they already have our money. We can bitch and complain all we want. They have our money.

Not only is it a security thing. It pressure's them to be open. If they are going to be late and they are scared of claw backs they will be open with us, tell us. post up.

Again with BTc why would they?

If they are big enough that the pre-orders are just pre-orders and they can front the assembly them selves. use an escrow..
1474  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 10 USB block erupters, USA and Canada only, IN HAND ships today! on: December 07, 2013, 03:23:46 AM

Or, you could just buy a single unit from their reseller's for a slightly higher price, not get busted, and not pay for double shipping.. lol
1477  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Any thoughts on BFL's pay per GH cloud mining? on: December 07, 2013, 02:46:11 AM
Please take note, the BFL mining is a PRE-ORDER....... Roll Eyes

We've all seen how BFL does on those, by the time they activate the damn thing's your return could be $5 a year..

But yes if they went live the minute you paid, the rate is actually pretty decent right now!

1479  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Help understand Black Arrow, Neptune? on: December 07, 2013, 02:22:45 AM

But as a noob to mining. Could I reasonably get this in the mail. plug it in down stairs and monkey my way through setup?

Im gonna suggest that as a noob, you dont start with a $6k machine. It also depends on how much $6k is to you.

Im just saying, there is HUGE potential for heartbreak in mining.

Lets say You buy an X3 today for what, 7 BTC. Then they dont end up shipping until June because of issues with board/power draw.

Your miner will now only return 2 BTC. So you spent 7 BTC to make 2. And, lets say BTC goes crazy and is worth $5000 each. You lost out on $25k.

The best investment strategy for BTC is buy and hold. Mining, especially in 2014, is for bigtime gamblers with balls of steel.

Oh I understand the steel balls thing.
But you figure if a 2TH  item isn't shipped until June, the return would be so low it would never get back what was put into it?
6 grand is 6 grand, its far from pocket change, but it's also not my kids school fund or my retirement lol.

I'd like to buy a large machine in the new year. but yes the issue seems to be none of these bastards are reliable enough. sigh. Which make's all of this hard to bite into.

I'd buy into any machine right now. I'm even trying to find a reliable mining company to buy share's off... as an alternate option..

It's a sin this whole damn BTC setup is such a scam. Probably the coin's biggest flaw Sad Or the community at least.
