Obviously one engineer is not enough experience to design a 5TH/s device.
One person could do it, with enough experience under their belt. The KNC chip had 2, with one as the lead, iirc. KNC had 2-3 person working on the hardware and at least one is a ASIC design specialist, educated at a recognized univercity. I agree, only having one electronic engineer to bleeding edge technology do not alone do not qualify alone to raise the SCAM ALERT flag, he could be extremely good, on the other side 13 years is not that much experience in this business. But there are just too many things that do not add up. The lead designer at Cointerra only had a few years experience. I say let's see how this pans out. There are folks willing to go visit the place in person, so let's wait for that. If Rebecca needs a US citizenship, let me know

Anyone mining this scam coin is literally wasting electricity.. the difficulty retarget is still a huge issue.
You are right, it is a huge issue. But if we examine strictly the difficulty only, it is not a waste of electricity. With 25Mhash net rate the avarage time to find a block is around one day. Dev try to make some hype to convince people to mine, seems logical. The only way to solve the problem is to increase the net hash rate, so miners are needed. With ten times the net hashrate we have now it would only take around 2-3 hours to find a block. In this case raterget could be achieved within one month. Unfortunately dev left us alone for too long time, so now only a few of us trust him. You don't get it, do you? I mined this a couple of weeks back. The network hashrate was like 200mh, I was 1/10th of the total network hash rate. We weren't finding blocks, it took me almost 2 days to get like 50 giftcoin or something, and it'll NEVER get paid out to me because the difficulty is stupid. Even in a perfect world with unicorns and fairies making love, it would still take almost a year for the difficulty to work out.

Still didn't have a chance to do anything yesterday, didn't get home till almost midnight, stayed up till 0030 putting together the framework for one of the new rigs.
I did let one of the MSI 270's do a gentle burn-in test overnight, running it at 483kh with no issues whatsoever.
I officially proclaim this to be my #1 choice of 270's so far, above the 270X even, mainly because of the TwinFrozr cooling, and the stability of the card. While overclocked all night, you can barely even hear the fans running. So from the standpoint of a stock card which is quiet with the fans at 100%, this is a keeper.
I'll actually have time today to do tuning and power tests, but here's what I have mine running at (so if you have a 270, try these settings):
TC: Unknown (whatever BAMT default is, I forgot to change it this time) Intensity & Power: 20 Engine: 1120 Memory: 1500 This results in 483kh on BAMT 1.3 with sgminer. This is my first time testing BAMT 1.3 and sgminer. I dunno how much I like it, mainly because the splash screen is dogecoin, and I don't really trust anything with dogecoin on it ... lol
Full review to follow tonight when I bring all of the hashpower online.

Haven't had time to fully read over the PM/info, I will sometime today.
Cheeky, I appreciate your comment/support. I would like to be a large part of something like this but my schedule is unforgiving at the moment with other projects. I will evaluate the situation, and talk to some trusted backend coders that I know, who are actually in midlevel and seniority for this sort of thing--not right out of college.

Why did you guys lower the payout of the .01%-odds bet? I used to play that a lot and I noticed one day that suddenly it stopped working for about a day or so, and then when it came back online the potential payout was much lower.
Did someone win and break the bank?

How is our owning a data analysis center going to ruin the economy?

There's no exchanges. What's the point.
lol. it will be on cryptsy today now you've said this. willing to bet you 100BTC. Posturing gets you nowhere.. of course if you transmitted 100 to an escrow for the bet, then we'd be talking. Besides 100BTC is worth more than all starcoin ever mined. I don't work in a starcoin-only world, so for me to value the bajillion starcoin I have, I need to convert it to other mediums. Shoot, I'd be happy with a STR->Amazon gift card service--this would at least provide actual USD value for the dead coin. I say 100 STR per 1 USD. And, if I were wrong and it hits cryptsy, no doubt the DUMP of starcoin would kill it. So it'll last a few days at most. I will officially bet you 1BTC this hits cryptsy within the week and I'm willing to use escrow. Well you owe me 100 BTC right now as it hasn't been added to cryptsy... so why would I tack on another 1? I loved the idea of this coin, but it's almost dead. Not sure Vern is going to add the coin, without some 'incentive' on his part.

Well, I suppose I should say an established exchange ..
Every exchange has to establish itself somehow... coinmarket.io has an old school, reputable dev behind it... see, not being on a huge exchange is an asset to the coin now and its early adopters, like me Agree

While I'm not mining the USDe, I would say that it's worth mentioning the USD is the backing for the global economy right now. So whether you're American or not.. it sortof defines global trade relations.
Simultaneously it's worth noting the USDe doesn't need to be posited as a global cryptocurrency, it clearly is a niche coin.
Why wouldn't you stock up on a supply of this promising coin, or did you already? I have not yet, mainly because with so many altcoins popping up, it's hard to keep track. I will be looking into throwing some MH that way to get some, but only a few. Also, I don't see an exchange for it.. supposedly one popped up, but can't find it anymore..
