I hope you're not solo mining right now. The coin is dead. Needs relaunch.

Gone like -gone nowhere ?
Gone as in the fork will mean they're worthless. Just like any coin which forks. This coin had more forks than most, and the relaunch will do it again. Everyone starts from 0 except IPOs like myself.

someone is still mining on the old wallet lmao
What will happend with old gpu coins ? Gone.

Quit whining about launch time. What a bunch of whiners. If it is 5am your time then set you damn alarm and get up to do it. If it is 11pm your time and you normally go to bed at 9pm, then get up and and mine. You are all acting like a bucnh of spoiled brats and kids on the playground. GROW UP and quit wasting thread space on whining about launch time. Most people don't want to have to read through your whining to read meaningful posts. MESSAGE: Quit whining and DO NOT respond to this post and keep the whining posts from poluting the thread. I know you whiners will have to post though, it is justt your nature! Idiots

1)What happens to any coins mined already?
2)Do we need to download a new wallet?
3)If we don't need a new wallet, can we use the same address given to us allready? Or do we have to delete the user.dat and wallet.dat files?
1. Your coins are gone. I kept warning people for hours yesterday to stop mining. Your mining was wasted yesterday. 2. Yes, and he hasn't finished it yet. You need new wallet, address, etc. 3. See #2. It should be a warning sign that they're rushing this again.

You mine the coin, and the coin is used to purchase the GPUs. Here's YOUR chance to get more coins right at launch, than someone mining! The coin has a business backing from an actual LLC in America, with almost $50,000 invested up front.I can provide plenty of positive rep from this forum from pool ops, developers, folks I've traded and sold with if necessarySOLD PENDING CONFIRMATION - Keep your eye posted

What's wrong with you guys complaining about the time? You know how to mine coins but you don't know how to set up a task to run at a specific time? Create a batch file to launch the miner and use task scheduler or even the timeout command. Granted this doesn't allow for fixing any issues that may occur while the mining starts, but chances are if it's affecting you, it's affecting everyone. Eg...assuming 13 hours left to run the batch file to start mining. setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100 setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1 COLOR 0C timeout /t 46800 vertminer.exe --config gpucoin.conf pause The problem is going over all of your heads. It's not about the TIME, it's the fact he's rushing it again! If you knew more of the backstory about this guy and the fact he's ignored experienced launch input, you'd be concerned. There's a reason I'm calling him out.

Why on earth would you put up a relaunch with less than 24 hours notice? You have IGNORED IPO questions about the situation and the relaunch. Have you even tested it in some private pools with significant hashrate?
You're just begging for more issues.
|
|
|
Adding onto my response, why are you even asking people when they want the relaunch? That shouldn't be a question at all. When it's ready to be launched, then announce it. This supposedly has a business model, but instead of executive class decisions, planning and execution, it just seems fly by the pants. Asking random folks on the internet when to launch? How about when it's ready, and then you give a 48 hour notice or something?? Again: Launch it once you have github sources, linux, windows, mac, and the coin has been tested against a couple of private pools with decent hashrate.
Uh, and once everything else has been solved also.
Milestones should be met before launch, not just a random day/time goal.

Hey vesper what pool is yours?
My pool network is private right now as it has been for awhile. There will be a very public launch soon. We're making sure things are good to go, lots of testing to try and mitigate any issues. I also support another up and coming pool network which has been lauded by several coins. You'll see a link to the ANN thread in my sig at some point.

Forget it, this coin is an epic fail. My miners have been mining this all night for nothing. Thanks. Why did you mine it all night? Some people probably set their gear up and let it run, and didn't check back here. I've been getting reports of that. It's normal. But people shouldn't just blindly trust pool ops or coin devs. For this reason.

At least the nuggets have a fiat value.

Furthermore, don't launch anything until you have a GITHUB ACCOUNT with LINUX DAEMON SOURCE.

So, we do have a new Dev and we may be looking for a second Dev to help make this actually work. We never once anticipated this kind of traffic and thought our original plan would work out fine, but as you saw that didn't happen. We ask that you remain patient so that we can make this work exceedingly well, and we look forward to your continued support.
We will announce the new launch date in advance via twitter and this thread. Thanks again for all your continued support.
Did I not warn you about every single bit of this in my email to you? Every single thing I warned you about came true.
I told you I could help you professionally launch the coin. I even re-offered after the Challenger disaster of a launch this was. You haven't emailed your IPOs with details. You ignored me as a pool op. It's as if you're brand new to the crypto world. You've ignored great advice from several established members on here.
Stop hiring random people and turn to your IPOs first! 95% of the people in this thread have no experience and honestly have no idea what they're doing with mining rigs, but you're turning to them for advice. The "customer" is not always right, random polls are good to get a feel for things, but your IPOs should be your primary "go to" people.
If you ignore everything else, don't ignore this: Don't rush your relaunch. The rep of the coin has been severely impacted, which will be hard to recover from. The solution needs to have a flawless execution.
As an IPO, your next amount of free time should be dedicated with sending us a detailed email breakout of what went wrong, why it went wrong, what your plans are to fix it, and then to ask us how we feel about that.
|
|
|
The new dev is looking over all the source code files to find out what went wrong and what we need to do to fix it. We would like to do a re-launch tomorrow, but depending on the errors could take up to 3 days.
I know there are a LOT of angry people, which includes myself, that this whole venture has come to a grinding halt so soon. As with anything new there are bumps, and we will over come them.
You have my utmost sincere apology and I hope that together we can still build and foster a great community.
GPU Coin, thanks. TAKE ALL WEEK. DO IT RIGHT. Never debate with Vesper about rig performance... the man is a genius... he has access to trouble shoot my rigs 24/7... from the opposite side of the globe... he is on my payroll.
Thanks mate

3x 280X
GPU1 360kH GPU2 360kH GPU3 20kH WHY ??
Lack of system RAM.. scrypt-n is a bitch. 8GB RAM Yup.. for 3 cards you'll need 12GB.. 4GB per card. Really? You realize it's GPU ram intensive right, not system ram. I can mine at like 3mh/system with 2gb on ScryptN.
