Lol, my block rewarders became so slow because their wallet grew to 4MB size, reinitializing them now  Yeah, I had this issue as well. I may restart mine at some point. Sending out all those small amounts does dust up the wallet. How much PMC per 24 hours would you say you're sending out? |

If there are hoarders left, expect them to be holding around 5-10k PMC. The most common amount given away at the start was 5k. Some also may have bought, begged or scraped together more since then, but 5-10k I reckon is the amount held by the average hoarder. Couldn't tell you how many are left. |

I dont understand premine coin, how is it fair that all the coins are given away all at once to a certain amount of people? Its like basically getting free money. At the current price of .42 some of you who got free coins at the start have already made $1000s of dollars. Isnt this just a pump and dump?
No coin can be fair in that sense. Early adopters got the most during initial distribution, and from my own contributions I feel like I've earnt those coins. No different than early miners or early investors. I haven't made a cent from PMC because I haven't sold any. It's no less fair than someone having more hashpower than you, or more BTC to buy coins than you. It is inherently unfair but money always is. That's the very nature of Capitalism and unfortunately life. However, PM me your PMC address and I'll send over a few PMC. I can't afford to send many but if you hold on to them maybe you'll make a nice profit. No, this is not a pump and dump. You're confusing terminologies. PMC is distributed. What people do with their coins is their business. PMC can be mined and bought too. It's in many hands now. |

I Love the idea behind this coin, with the fast PoW to PoS transition. If things dont improve I'm thinking on getting a group of DEVS together and launching an alternative coin with the same features.
Couldn't you just takeover MintCoin? Mintcoin is not going anywhere guys. It is a GREAT coin, and a great idea. The devs are just overloaded with work! Look how active they are twitter, making info graphics, helping to spread the word around, plus deal with all the other work. Give the devs some slack and credit. Please donate to them and this process can go a bit smoother. They need to eat too. As I said: 115 pages in 10 days. Coin is healthy. |

I have noticed I get a lot of resistance from those who are more into finding quality coins over pop coins, the main reason is the name. They associate it with the negatives like Maxcoin, etc.
I wonder if a more appropriate and descriptive name would be Postmine? Since it is post mining and relying on tx fee's.
I think the name is fine. Premine is a term. It's neither good or bad. People associate Premine with something negative, but in truth the majority of coins have one, and you can't get away with anything more than a 1% Premine now because people just won't stand for it, so I think the negative connotations are slowly dying away. In truth changing the name would confuse a lot more people and make them ask a lot more questions. Premine is easy to explain. PMC isn't like other coins so it has to be explained. The name can also be explained. I think the name is perfectly fine. We should embrace it and make it our own. We're already making a name for ourselves. Changing it now would be disastrous. I think it's a gutsy move and the name really stands out. I like it just the way it is. Ya name changes are never good, maybe in our tag like we can explain it better. I think we just need to get better at explaining the concept of Premine. As the coin gets more popular word of mouth will do a lot the work, but we must also educate people as much as possible. |
