4. Binance hacked for 7K BTC but the cryptocurrency community stood by it and is now emerging to be seemingly "unharmed".

This really surprised me. I really thought that the momentum of bitcoin price hike will stop due to the hack, but it didn't. A lot of people must have ignored it since there had been a lot of positive news and hype on the market. Also binance made sure that all the users fund is SAFU. Hope more important news will come which will help the market get more demand.
1462  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is a good crypto portfolio %? on: May 13, 2019, 11:15:10 AM
Hey guys, just want to see your idea here. Guys, what is a good portfolio %?

Are you guys following most people are doing? Like 50-75% BTC and rest altcoins?

Mine is all altcoins and losing quite a bit now Sad

Majority of my funds are in crypto, I sold some of my altcoins before the bitcoin price started increasing. Will buy back some of them once bitcoin price settles at certain point. Still, don't forget to diversify ypur investment.
1463  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When you start crypto gambling? on: May 13, 2019, 07:58:27 AM
I used to play satoshimines and bust-a-bit, these two were the forst gambling sotes I have visited. I used to play with the bitcoin I had with faucets before, ot was around 4-5 years ago. My borther introduced crypto and crypto gambling to me.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Share your favourite gambling site and story behind it on: May 13, 2019, 07:37:32 AM
I like stake.com because of their great way of givong quality services to thwir users and finding ways fpr users to enjoy earning while gambling. They are really generous when it comwa to giving away rewards and prizes daily.
1465  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Make a secure Cryptocurrency for next generation on: May 13, 2019, 07:22:40 AM
Well, sure. However, most of the time the problem is people'a awareness woth regards to crypto. Some invest without even doing their self a favor of investigating, reading the whitepaper, checking the legitimacy of a project or learning about the risk of cryptocurrency. Most jump into crypto investment due to thw potential amount of money one can earn thru it.

I think mass awareness and crypto education shoukd come first. This can some how help people choose projects they will support and avoid investing in scam.
1466  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why not play games online instead of gambling? on: May 13, 2019, 07:07:47 AM
Many but not all gamblers are claiming they gamble for fun and pass time. I was just thinking. If it is the reason why people gamble then why not play online games? There is a lot of good and challenging onlne games wherein you can interact with other people online?

Each people has their own preference with regards to games and ways to have fun. For some people gambling might be boring, and for some it gives them adrenalin. Same goes with online games.
1467  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mistakes hodlers make on: May 13, 2019, 06:57:18 AM
btc has mooned a little bit, and suddenly we have self claimed analyzers almost everywhere claiming bitcoin is going to 10,000$ in May itself , small time now and a little bearish they will moan again,

the time they suppose make small profit from the greens; they are busy forecasting

Note: Taking your profit does not mean selling your entire portfolio; it means taking profit; retaining your capital
You can always buy back the low

Well some hodlers doesn't really bother about small price changes since most hodlers accumulate during the bottom of the price and wait for the peak to maximize profit.
1468  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum is crawling on: May 13, 2019, 06:41:21 AM
Well, after bitcoin price increases ethereum always follows since most traders choose ethereum as an investment alternative aside from bitcoin. It is to be expected since a lot of people trust ethereum network.
1469  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why knowing what slippage means could save you $400,000 on: May 13, 2019, 06:19:42 AM
Well, this guy must have been impatient filling his order. He must be new in trading and he doesn't know how trading platform works. That is why it is never adviced to start trading with huge amount of money, not unless you know what you are doing and willing to take the risk. That is a huge amount of money, and it's an expensive way to learn.
1470  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Satoshi Sees, What You See, Am I missing something? on: May 13, 2019, 05:54:05 AM
Well, satoshi did not intend bitcoin to be viewed as an investment tool. However, people and it's supporters did. We cannot blame them since bitcoin provided an opportunity to earn thru bitcoin investment and trading. As time goes by, the number of people using it as an alternative to cash or medium of exchange is increasing since some businesses and service provider are adapting cryptocurrency and blockchain technology.
1471  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you think so please stop! on: May 13, 2019, 05:41:48 AM
Well, HODLERS are always the winner during the bull-market. It's their way of earning and I don't see it as greed. If you have what it takes to be patient waiting for the market to rise and the financial capability to buy a lot during the dip, then it ia not your fault. People should mind their own business.
1472  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Tether drops 28 billion Bitcoin jumps 28 billion. on: May 13, 2019, 05:27:45 AM
Well, the market is recovering most people had sold their tether and went bacl to bitcoin. And not to set aside thw tether FUD, it surely has affected it.
1473  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who are the best traders? on: May 13, 2019, 05:20:30 AM
I cant understand what you mean with this, traders success are depend on the coin situation if the coin has something to do essentially in the market then it is better for trading. You cant look for the best traders because they are silent all the time because they know what they are doing and they dont need anyone's opinion for the success.

There is traders all over the world, most trade something from nature for money (trees, oil)
Some create there own creations to trade (farmers, artist, wholesalers)
Some traders buy other peoples creations and trade (stock market,retailers,btc/fiat trading)

Who are the best traders I meant.

Well of course when you say best trader those are who are gaining money from what they do. Be it in crypto, stocks,  wholesalers, oil and anything else. All traders only have one aim it is to gain from what they do or trade. So, I guess the amount of what you gain from your trade defines who the best is.
1474  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin and Cryptocurrencies Analytic Reports | CORindex on: May 13, 2019, 03:55:47 AM
From what I gather by the last report it looks like ethereum is really on a good track, there is a lot of potential.
Not that bitcoin doesn't it does too but it already went up a lot and unless we are on the verge of a big bull run it will not go that high, maybe 200 bucks at best but most likely will go down a bit.
...
I don't want to be misguided by the thoughts that ethereum would actually going to hit $200 in the future with the bull run. But if there would be bull run how could we be so sure that it would really hit $200 when the last price of ETH during bull run was $1000. I think $200 is just too small for the bull run but i don't want to give a number yet since we never see the sign of bull run yet.

That is correct, 200$ is too small of we are talking about the bull-market. However, the manner how the market is recovering today is not as drastic as how it was in the recent bull-run. I am not sure but it seems that we are still in the accumulation stage, the bull-market might not happen as soon as every expects, but we can expect a good growth in the market in a steady way.
1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think IOTA has the potential to dethrone Bitcoin? And why? on: May 13, 2019, 03:31:23 AM
Well, bitcoin had been trusted for so long since bitcoin ia the first successful crypto to be created. It is to far ahead from IOTA as a currency. However, if we talk about IOTA's technical aspect it really has potential.
1476  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Which Platform Better? on: May 13, 2019, 01:53:12 AM
There are lots of Decentralized apps these days and they have differences but we can't conclude that there would be one on top of the list. Tron has a higher fee yet it's most trsuted and still remains on top of the list. Dapps could go more in gambling world especially when it's being supported by more players and that isn't impossible to achieve because they provide a better service.
1477  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Acc on: May 12, 2019, 10:25:20 PM
I transferred $20 into my blockchain account and now it says “may be at risked for a double spend” what do I do?
If I understand your problem correctly I think you can send money without any error. Try doing it now.
The problem is that you sent several transactions in a short time "previous transactions were not confirmed."
Next time you have to wait until 1 confirms.
I also advise you to use Electrum as an alternative to your "blockchain account."
You are right whenever you send a transaction on the blockchain you have to allow for at list 1 confirmation before sending another one to avoid double spending, but in most cases if the transactions have not gone through you can place another in other to have the $20 revised to your wallet but when doing that you have to use high fees so that it goes through before the pending one.

Was not aware of this since I haven't tried sending multiple transactions in a short span of time. Good thing OP experienced this with just a little amount. Since Bunsom said he cannot recover the funds anymore.
1478  Economy / Speculation / Re: Little dip in bitcoin market, will it be recovered reach 10k on: May 12, 2019, 10:06:23 PM
I just noticed the price chart and saw that few 100 USDs of value fall down for bitcoin. Will it be recovered in a future day or tomorrow?

Thinking to exchange some coins, I do not want to loose the peak value chance, will it reach 10k Soon.

Well, there's no way telling if ever the market will continue to go down or it is just temporary. The market is volatile to perfectly predict what ia coming next. Just stay calm and trust your own speculation, being to emotional in crypto is not ideal. It's either you will regret not selling or regret that you panick sell. It is all up to you.
1479  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance Account BTC address on: May 12, 2019, 09:42:24 PM
I guess the only way for you to know your balance is to log-in and finish the KYC. I also had a problem with my 2fa in binance, don't know if it's a glitch or not, when I open my account in my desktop computer it shows a different mobile number. So, I tried opening on my mobile phone and was able to go thru, my withdrawal sms-authentication number is different than my log-in sms authentication(mobile number that I am not aware of.)
1480  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: 💰Simulated cryptocurrency trading. Buy play ₿ Bitcoin using play dollars on: May 12, 2019, 09:30:22 PM
I think this will be a good website for newbies to learn and practice trading. I had my first trade in coinex when I was new and it was terrible I lost some money since I thought I can trade because I've read some and watched somw lessons on trading. This will really be helpful to simulate and be familiar in trading.
