1461  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: European Sex Championship 😳, Will you Bet? on: June 06, 2023, 05:28:45 PM
Even if casino add this kind of competition for betting, in which section would it be? Other ? I believe gamblers rarely enter this section. I bet not many will be interested in such placing bet for such championship, as it looks studit to lose money with such bets. People would bet on something they are familiar with. Sex championship - even if there will be such a sport, it will be still new and less interesting.

Let's suppose the betting sites offer the betting for sex tornamemt but how will they decide the odds. Even if they give almost similar odds to both the sides, how will the players will select the player to bet on.

We never know the strength and weaknesses of the players as we will be withnessing all of them for the first time  if we bet on any player, it wil be pure luck as no player history would be available.

Casinos will not add this sport. Its a plot. Casinos today are not asking KYC to users withdrawing small amounts but if they are considered a porno website, everyone will be asked to submit even those who are not depositing yet.

A porno website turning into a betting platform will be a new twist to this story. Yep thats adoption because maniacs are coming.  Cheesy

1462  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance crisis - how will it affect the crypto market? on: June 06, 2023, 05:15:35 PM
These and many other negative news stories, about the world's largest exchange, have been in the air for months. Question:
- In your opinion, is this a consequence of increased pressure on China by the U.S.?
- What will the problems of Binance lead to for crypto market and crypto users?

I wouldn't be surprise its one side of a story as there is a growing tension between the 2 superpower from tech war, economic war and the build up on South China Sea.

We already felt the problem over night because of the prices. But this could just be for the media though. Binance being targetted for a long time has already seen this coming I pressume.
1463  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC is in Action After Suing Binance, Here Comes Coinbase Exchange on: June 06, 2023, 04:54:15 PM

Gensler go crazy again. But he will fail in supressing Bitcoin, he knows he is in a losing battle that price is not going zero after he had been doing this for a long time.

He was asked in a hearing just this year which tokens he identifies security but could not answer it directly. That hearing itself will be used against SEC.
1464  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: European Sex Championship 😳, Will you Bet? on: June 06, 2023, 04:42:05 AM
2. If casinos pick this up and make provisions available to users to bet on this supposed European sex Championship, would you bet?

The big question is there any casino that is offering a bet on this sex Championship? If you know about any site, do inform us too.

By the way, this is just the wildest sports i have ever heard of. Also, i would like to bet on many sports but this is one sport where instead of betting, I wish i could join it as a player  Cheesy Cheesy

They do have a federation or an organization which they may require sex athletes years of training. The training alone I think is worth it already. Practice makes you better.

If I couldn't join as a player, it will still be worth it to watch a live game. It must be cheaper than those Onlyfans page subscription. This is where we can replay the games over and over right?

The mechanics of the sport would really be interesting.
1465  Economy / Economics / Re: Getting an MBA before starting a company or directly starting a company? on: June 06, 2023, 04:33:59 AM
So many successful businesses started small and eventually the owners learn the business well which they didn't have any formal business study. MBA are for formality and for business men that wants to start a big business to which they have decades of roadmap.

Small business owner only need the feasibility study proving that the business might posibly work. The study includes strategies from product development, building a system down to marketing.
1466  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another Fud or Its Reality? BTC is Down Again on: June 06, 2023, 03:56:19 AM

What SEC is not seeing is that Binance will fight this. Binance is richer than Ripple and can last more than a decade fighting this case but at the same time the exchange will really be moving out US.

The more it wil be harder for US to regulate crypto outside their country. SEC is looking for another victim as Ripple seem to have got away.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: European Sex Championship 😳, Will you Bet? on: June 05, 2023, 04:35:46 PM
Europeans are probably one of the most liberated or open when it comes to these things but making it a sport has got to be the weirdest of them all. Maybe because prostitution is legal in some parts so they had really no issue making sex in public legal. Some Bookies will probably try to open lines for this but it will most likely for European markets. I'm not betting.

Japanese are a lot liberated than them, you can tell by their prostitution laws as its legal in their country. But sex as sport is just too much. This idea could possibly just come from Eipstein. This will destroy the next generation to come as it would be normal formthem to have sex along the sidewalk.

Married couple close doors when they have sex. I'm very careful not to tap my wife's butt at home because I don't want my kid see me doing that as a joke.
1468  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Purpose of purchasing bitcoin! on: June 05, 2023, 04:22:48 PM

It would be stupid of someone to buy something and not know what its purpose. You don't accidentally buy BTC because for someone nowadays, BTC is too popular.  And if you did buy even just a fraction of it, you know your purpose and its either for your investment or you wanna gamble.

I know one kid buy BTC just to impress his IG followers that he is into BTC. Now thats one heck of a purpose.
1469  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia and others, move to use Yuan instead of dollar. on: June 05, 2023, 03:00:29 PM
In my view, This development represents a shift in global economic dynamics and challenges the US dollar's longstanding dominance as the world's reserve currency. This poses a potential risk to the US economy, as reduced demand for the dollar could weaken its value and impact the country's ability to finance its first ever deficit.

What this will bring for the coming days and years I think this move could reduce the influence of the United States in global financial affairs and potentially lead to a redistribution of power on the international stage. While the full ramifications are yet to be seen, it is clear that this development signals a changing economic landscape and requires careful attention and a strategic response from US policymakers.

Anyone could see where this going since we're not gonna accept China to be in the equal footing of US when it comes to making policy. Its only the BRICS countries that see China to be the soon world leader which could lead to war to settle this as part of that strategic responce.

I don't really China the world leader but its still the alternative to US since many countries wants independence from US like the African countries which they will be using Yuan for their trades.
1470  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: June 05, 2023, 02:32:06 PM

I think the suggestion to interview the judges after the fight make sense. It may make sense why they gave such scores so that fans are not gonna be just scratching heads. Its not the first time as controversial fights happen over and over even in boxing.

As for Nunes vs Aldana, Nunes will still be the tougher fighter. Nunes being the underdog must be undermining.
1471  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: New rules for cryptocurrency trading in Hong Kong from June 1st on: June 05, 2023, 01:14:31 PM

Can Gensler even sue the First Digital as for the release of this FDUSD?

Because if he can and can shut it down and forces the company then its just a company not backed by the government. But because Hongkong also backed this year token that is only for institutions, I think th Hongkong government will back First digital.
Theoretically, the SEC can do anything, but if the company is not registered in the US, does not sell its services to Americans, it has a KYC and AML, and the company complies with other requirements for the regulation of cryptocurrencies, then the chances of such a lawsuit are minimal. The company does not print dollars, but simply issues shares, 1 share costs 1 dollar.

SEC wouldn't look at this different from paxful releasing that BUSD for binance don't you think?
Binance also have those USD on paxful which binance does have real USD on them.

But I think the solution to this is collaborating regulators of Hongkong and the SEC of US.  First digital will be like the Circle or the Tether in Asian market.
1472  Economy / Reputation / Re: 12 Years on Bitcointalk Today! on: June 05, 2023, 08:23:10 AM
Congratz! What made you interested in Bitcoin so early?

There isn’t just a single reason really. I liked a lot of things about Bitcoin when I first discovered it. The free transactions (once upon a time), no clawbacks, a limited number of coins, being able to mine at home, and it being open source software. Plus it was being traded 24/7 and the community was friendly and supportive. It was clear to see it was going places.

Thanks everyone for all the kind words. I see a few people mentioning my negative feedback. All I can really say about that is it is a bit disgraceful that so many default trust members include users like Vod in their trust networks who publicly tried to extort me. As with everything nowadays, corruption at the highest levels.

Looks like you already are aware of currency trading before BTC. Mining at home with just graphic cards I think was the greatest opportunity for the early birds.

There are Bitcoin users who were only aware how money works after BTC actually like me, its why we joined around 2016. We only learned it on Andreas Antonop that money becomes money when something is accepted by a community. Congrats again.

1473  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: June 05, 2023, 04:09:53 AM
Any comment on this?

https://twitter.com/robertsepehr/status/1662917294379655170

The US media has been largely silent on this story. The released pictures and videos are extremely graphic and if it was anyone from the GOP, then that individual would have been arrested by now, but to jail and his political career would have been finished. But then it is Hunter Biden, who belongs to the left-wing political spectrum. The only platform that is covering this story is Twitter and any related posts are being removed immediately from other platforms such as Facebook.

Well.. I got one article from Fox News:
https://www.foxnews.com/politics/nearly-10k-photos-hunter-bidens-laptop-hit-web-truth-transparency

There about 40 people in the category "Next President" on sports betting sites, and there's no Hunter Biden in there, so, I don't understand why is it relevant. Oh, the FoxNews. You know that Fox News is pro-Trump propaganda, right? And they are so desperately want to denigrate Joe Biden that they resort to such dirty methods as citing Russian media known for their constant lies. FFS!

If it where Trump's wife ormson has those things inside the laptop, the media would tirelessly flash all those things to keep the votes down on Trump. Its just the way it is though. Biden was not asked like they were pressing him to answer. The media was more interested on what ice cream flavor did Biden bought.

If there were many options, Trump probably may not win as well. But he is more popular among any other candidates.

1474  Economy / Economics / Re: The future Will be just the copy paste but on blockchain here is how on: June 04, 2023, 07:37:13 PM

You may have some idea of where we are going with this new market we have. You may be wrong to some degree. USD may lose its value but not really against your local currency, its just the purchasing power that may lose but its still valuable. USD is not gonna lose its demand per se.

But true everything may just be in blockchain also. We're all moving digital and probabaly the other markets too like the stock market will be in blockchain as well.
1475  Economy / Reputation / Re: 12 Years on Bitcointalk Today! on: June 04, 2023, 07:22:26 PM

Congratz! What made you interested in Bitcoin so early? I have heard of BTC also around that time but wasn't so serious about it.

In 12 years, you've been around in many bull runs. Which bull run have you profitted the most where you sold it all and bought back? Its been a ride that you have made different gigs.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do You Think Casinos Should Do Survey From Time To Time To Assess You. on: June 04, 2023, 02:11:17 PM
Huge part of this community are against KYC but somehow the YES won in this poll. Our desire for adoption really has made our best votes to say Yes for regular surveillance from the casinos. And then theres exchanges who also regularly asked ourmdocuments when they see irregularities to our logins.

One day they'll be asking DNA samples and we will still be complying to them.

1478  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: IS ATOMIC WALLET HACK OR SCAM? 🔴 Immediately Withdraw your Funds on: June 04, 2023, 11:39:10 AM
So if i have understood this correctly the people using atomic wallet have from nowhere lost their funds they have on the wallet? wow that is crazy and sad.
Is it possible to see where the funds has been sent? How is this possible to even happen? Do you think its some hacker outside atomic that is responsibility for this or atomic?

This is kinda worrying news if something like this can happen at atomic, it could happen on another wallet provider to, and with that said... to hold bitcoin is no longer a safe thing.
Life changer. Hope I wrong.

Damn..  Cry

If you remember the recent Ledger story, then yes, almost any wallet can be compromised, especially if it has a closed code, as Jawhead999 wrote above. As he correctly noted, due to the closed code, it is almost impossible for the outside to find out who exactly and how stole the funds from the wallets of the victims. For long-term hold, you can also use a paper wallet, if everything is done correctly, then it is not so easy to hack it.

Its why OP also put this thread in accusation forum for there maybe he suspects Atomic team itself is compromised. We may be too suspicous about it but we never know. Things usually get ugly every bear market and a legit company can sometimes snap.

I'd like to believe they still can be trusted though and provemthe public its really a hack from the outside to clear them.
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: June 04, 2023, 04:06:42 AM
I'm following the vote count and its still zero for Smith I hope whoever votes for Smith will care to explain his logic on why he voted for Smith, I'm sure his reason is he wants to take a risk or he believes in upsets, yes upset could happen but it's very slim to happen in this case, Beterbiev is getting better and Callum Smith's performance in his last fight is not that good, this is actually a tune fight in case there is an order or a negotiation to fighting Bivol, his real nemesis in that division.

well, we already know the favourite here even if it is not yet available from bookies. beterbiev is clearly the favourite here. but if the odds is like 1.0x in favour of beterbiev, look for other betting lines which is worth to place bet on like if this will go the distance or what round will it finish?
early betting odds is showing that beterbiev has about 90% chance to win over smith. and since smith knows about the current pulse, he can very well prepare to be his best version, who knows?

Smith hasn't executed his reach advantage in his bout against Canelo so what difference will it make against a tougher Beterbeiv. Not a very exciting fight really when gamblers already see posibilities just by the odds alone. Beterbiev by KO that could possibly retire Smith.

Nothing is more exciting fight anymore unless they make Bivol vs AB happen.

1480  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Pizza day reflection, what would it be like to build a city from scratch with btc on: June 04, 2023, 01:17:30 AM
Alot of posibilities to cities like this but stablecoin would likely be the first option.

If its a planned development like city from scratch, the developer may really face the truth that they'll be the ruler of this place which may result to being a dystopian city. Whoever develops the city will definitely ask from its people and the comfort they get may be very expensive.
