Is this another bull trap? Or first sing of bull market beginnings?
My strategy is the following:
Bet on trends, holding and selling tops (try at least), re-buying at few % drops, wait till next station.
Once made some profits, bet on other coins which did not start the uptrend, or are at the beginning of the up-trend.
Attention with people selling ALTs for $BTC !! Don't forget the Stop-loss!

That's going to be a little agressive for me though. Determining if it's a good time to buy or sell will be quite a challenge and getting too carried away may prove to be costly. I probably will pass making any major move. |

Now people are going to be angry that they didn't buy at 3k levels. I keep telling people it is nearly impossible to time this market and you should always cost average. A lot of speculators were too greedy and were waiting for 1k or 2k bitcoin to be hit again but it looks like that will never happen. I think the upcoming year will have tremendous growth back towards the all time high.
The only "people" who will be angry because "they" were waiting for "$1000 or $2000" that did not come are the whalecummulators. I believe that this is a pleb's rally, it will be crashed by "them" again within two weeks.  Possible since they have the ability to do that and they would already be in profit just from this current run. If what you say comes true, then we still have time to enjoy the profits we're making from buying last week 😃 |

I don't imagine btc is dead, but it will continue to grow to provide evidence that bitcoin is indeed worthy of being a tool for transactions and investments. There is still value and a strong community to make it more developed.
It's dead for those people that can't seem to make money out of it lol. For shorters who have been losing money. Of course they'll think about it that way. And bitcoin has died several times already. It's just too resilient to stay dead 🤣 |

Many speculators has come out saying the same thing over and over again and that is why we are having a very bad days in cryptocurrency as new investors will had this an the next thing that will happen is selling out of panic. I think we should stop post of bitcoin die of a thing as it is becoming odd and is not helping the market.
predictions are necessary, but, when you think bitcoin will die within a few years, other thoughts will arise. well, but I think, every year, the bitcoin system will be updated to be better. Lol. I think you should just accept the fact that these fud spreaders will be here to stay especially if the market isn't doing good. I mean, it's possible yes, but btc have the capacity to rise because the support for this crypto is well established already. |

All what we need is bull run, and the bull run have started already. If the crash in stock market will bring bull run in cryptocurrency markert, we will still be happy to have black Friday this christmas.
in times of economic downturn people look to store there wealth in gold and silver, i would love to think what would happen if people started using Bitcoin for this instead. I dont think we are there yet but the day will come... I agree with you, more or less the global economic conditions will have an impact on the crypto market. Because maybe, some people have the view that crypto in the long run still has good potential as an asset for investment Gold and other physical assets would still be the top logical option if ever these conditions occur. What happens in the stock market can very well happen in crypto and even worse. That's why investors would be a little wary and that's why i'm not counting on any massive bull runs anytime soon. |

It might not logic for some people especially if that person only spread about the bad news about bitcoin. But if that person believes in bitcoin, then I don't think that he will think that it's logic or not. Yes, the price is up too high and reach $20k in the last year, and although right now the price is on $3k, I am sure that the price can be back to the high price again in the future. Maybe it will need longer than we think, but if bitcoin really good enough to show the power and can help people to earn money, then the price will go higher. It's only a matter of time before we can see that it's happening and we need to be patient. So no matter what will happen in the next year, we need to be ready and take a decision if necessary.
Well the crypto community has grown considerably bigger over the last 3 years so i can say i'm pretty confident a drop that low is unlikley. Hodlers can become pretty stubborn especially when they get used to the bear market. |

bitcoin will never be able to fall as cheaply and as badly as that, the price of bitcoin will definitely stabilize at a price of $ 5000 because I see buying orders and proponents of a lot of prices opening orders at $ 5k which makes bitcoin difficult to fall deeper.

What do you think where Bitcoin will skyrocket this time? we are in the $4000 and last year we were able to reach the $20,000, which was very incredible and was a very profitable year, but this year the price dropped from $20,000 to $4000 so what I can say is that with the fall $20,000 to $4000 should have scared a lot of people and these people will not be back so soon for the crypto world, we have some great players like BAKKT and others who can create a price increase, but being honest I doubt if we see the price again of $20,000 next year, then it is likely that we will only see $ 20,000 in two years from now. Two years may not even be enough dude. Though that is clearly possible, the circumstances have changed from 2017 onwards. As you've said, any investor would have hesitations to invest big in a market that pumped from less than 1k to 20k in a year, and then dropped from 20k to 4k is less than a year. Too many considerations that's why i don't count too much on a skyrocketing btc the scale of 2017 again. |

It still is possible but by the number of people who have bought btc at a cheaper rate this time, they will all be taking profit before the price even get to hit $10k. All due the fear of bitcoin droping again. What we need is more people believing in this market and the constantly number of them increasing everyday may just be the chance for BTC to hit more than $10k again.
You say if there is still a possibility to rise to 8k-10k at the end of this year? quite interesting, that means there must be a price increase of around 300% of the current price. Well we can all dream of something as ambitious as that though lol. With less than 2 weeks to go, even if we indeed get a bull run, i doubt it'll be enough to even get us above 10k. |

Who cares if this is a dead cat bounce anyway if you are long? Back in 2014 as in 2018, the whole year was filled with dead cat bounces. Anyone lucky enough to be fooled by one or more and holding till today is doing just fine.
Yeah it always happen in a market as volatile as this. Though i'd say what's happening right now is neither a desd cat bounce or a bull run. I wouldn't give much fuss about this since it's not that significant yet. Not a month ago this current value would already cause panic. |

Today bitcoin, ethereum, ripple, eos, has gone up over by 12% gain on coinmarketcap over 9billion dollar has been trown into the market in less than 6hours.. is this the pump?? Are we looking at a bull run??
When bitcoin went up in the market for sure it will follows automatic by some of the potentials altcoins who got dumped their price value for the past couple of days. But I cannot consider it is the beginning of bull run, though I want it to be happen actually. Yeah unless this continues til next year and propel us again back to above 7k. What's happening now is of course a relief and let's say a kind of run. But until this is sustained for a long time, i'd still say we won't have a bull run this year |

That's absolutely true. Blockchain technology is a very good thing in this modern era, but as you say, the problem that has to be solved is its use. As we know, there are so many new projects but most of them are just a scam. Hope there will be a really good project in using the great technology. There would still be a lot of changes that's for sure. And i think even developers admit that blockchain isn't perfect yet. The future is still a long way to go and i don't think anything's final at this point. |

NEO does not surpass ETH, but more precisely it is NEO will be ETH toughest rival in the future. Remember in the future. Such rivals are now on the market a lot , and EOS and stellar and ada, and for some reason, not one opponent has not yet approached the Ethereum, and I doubt that someday it will happen Lol. Everyone seems to be picking ether off these days. Well i still believe it the way i did when it was strongly second to btc. And it's showing good signs as of lately so let's see. indeed the current value of Bitcoin is very far different from the end of years 2017 ago and this is currently the worst decline ever. some people have started to not believe in Bitcoin and say Bitcoin will die. I think this not will continue again because the bear market is over and I'm sure Bitcoin will return to its highest value it again.
Yes the price of bitcoin falls does not mean that bitcoin will die just because it loses its value, for those who assume bitcoin will die they only spill their disappointment about the crypto market, maybe. But we can see that the market is slowly increasing, I hope this increase will continue to make many people regret bitcoin for leaving it. There are many people are worrying because of the abnormal movement of the bitcoin in the market. The price of the bitcoin is still down but it is not a mean that it will die because of it. It is true that the market is now recovering and we can now see a lot of good changes. It's not the worst decline ever. People's expectations after that 2017 run made it seem like the worst decline ever but it's not. Bitcoin will eventually regain it's value and possibly even beyond but it will come in due time. |
