How about this news?

https://twitter.com/MichaelBensonn/status/1664287862911807490

Will Canelo bite on this one? or will he clearly duck Benavidez at this stage because he is focus on a rematch with Bivol at 175 lbs.

Offer might not be big for Canelo though, but I think the Benavidez is chasing him because they know that Canelo is slowly losing a step or two as what we hae seen in the Ryder fight recently.

In this economy, $50M is worth the trouble after all Canelo is not after zero loss, he already have loss and he could even fight Beterbeiv if they just arrange a deal.

The rematch against Bivol is pretty much assured to happen so he can forget it for now and accept a fight as long as thers opportunity. Benavidez is peony to him.
1482  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: New rules for cryptocurrency trading in Hong Kong from June 1st on: June 02, 2023, 12:58:08 AM

Can Gensler even sue the First Digital as for the release of this FDUSD?

Because if he can and can shut it down and forces the company then its just a company not backed by the government. But because Hongkong also backed this year token that is only for institutions, I think th Hongkong government will back First digital.
1483  Economy / Economics / Re: You are not prepared what's coming quick analytics exacly of situation on: June 01, 2023, 03:47:45 PM
Can you tell us your future life plan because right now, I still have no slight idea what I should do also. I was also looking into having a plan but this always depend on what happen in the future and what my government will do and what crypto currency prices do.

If my country will also have recession, sure thing I will sell properties and will likely move to my parents. Family comes first, none of us would want to be alone in this war time.
1484  Economy / Gambling / Re: Question about casino, sports bet on: June 01, 2023, 02:55:27 PM
If well structured, the apps give a more immersive gaming experience, of course we can also play via mobile browser

Just use the browser, it all works still.
I was also wondering why casinos are not releasing mobile app despite them profitting a lot over the years in business.

There could be more hacks if they do release apk apps though. Cheaters will find a way to win and probably casinos are preventing this from happening.
1485  Economy / Gambling / Re: Are betting companies using T&C against their customers on: June 01, 2023, 02:48:48 PM
Not the usual thing they do but the number of cases are growing, they didn't explain exactly which in their TOS was violated but the customer can't do anything about it. The most recent we have seen I think is where the client has $500k in his account. I'm still unsure what happen though, waiting is part of their game.

If casinos like them gets away with what they are doing, some casinos will also do the same for their exit scam.
1486  Economy / Gambling / Re: THNDR Play Games to Earn Bitcoin on: June 01, 2023, 05:26:16 AM
-snip-
All the games are on Apps.

I joined their community and searched for the topic you are asking. Yes, their game has some ads and the business scheme they're using (the revenue they get from the ads are being converted into sat and paid to the user).

They aren't giving a lot of Satoshi to a user for playing the games. I have tested one of their games and they amount of Satoshi they're paying is very low. I have installed their Tetris game after reading this post and the result wasn't satisfying because you'll get less than 200 Satoshi if you play the game for an hour.

The apps are full of ads, and whenever you lose a game you are forced to watch a video ad. The experience is annoying because sometimes you lose 2 times within 5 minutes and you'll have to watch a 40 second long ad to replay the game.
I wouldn't expect the reward to be super high at all, was just curious the exact amount. These ads you didn't like are how they are able to give you a few cents, you shouldn't be upset because you have to watch an ad many times. You're not going to get rich playing this, be happy you can make a few cents in your spare time.

Well its close to what we have before such as clicksense, there isn't even an option to skip ads. Still there are tons of kids out there that might be interested on this, I just hope they are not asking KYC withdrawing coins because this definitely will be a scam when someone finds a way to use bot or AI to keep playing while away from their screen.

Theres got to be a more interesting games or they could add an internal casino?

1487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's Wrong with Roger Ver? ::) on: June 01, 2023, 04:26:56 AM

Ver will say hust about anything to make the BTC developer feel regretful as if he is telling 'I told you so'.
Hence the creation of BTC Cash was because of that scaling and sizing. Ver is making noise since, he owns a BTC forum once which wasn't very active and lost the competition with bitcointalk.

ETH is widely adopted than BTC alright but BTC is still the safest and most priced cryptocurrency that is not deem security by the regulators.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 5 Behavioural signs that suggest you are Addicted to Gambling on: June 01, 2023, 04:02:15 AM
I was browsing on the internet and stumble upon this article and found out that there are three kinds of gamblers. They are Professional gamblres, social gamblers and problem gamblers. The first two are okay but the third one which is the problem gamblers are the ones who are struggling with this addiction.

So I asked myself what behaviour would suggest that an individual is a problem gambler. Did some research and found many behaviour that suggest an individual is struggling with gambling addiction. Out of those I found the following five behaviours to be most common ones in a problem gambler.

  • Preoccupation with gambling.
  • The urge to increase wagers to achieve the same level of excitement.
  • Having difficulty in controlling, cutting back, or stopping gambling despite several attempts.
  • Lying about gambling activities.
  • Borrowing money to gamble.

As gambling addiction can be a challenging issue that can have a very harmful impact on an individual's life. it is always recommended to find a professional helpb rather struggling with it. Do you agree with those behaviours? If not then you can suggest some, that can be added to this topic.
All of those are signs of a person having some gambling issues, but the first, the third and the fourth points can be difficult to quantify, and it allows those problem gamblers to hide or to lie about them, however the second and the fifth point should be very easy to verify as we are talking about money here.

So if someone can see that through the history of their bets the amount they are betting increases over a time period, and they are not earning more money since the beginning of that period, then this is a clear sign they have problems, and the fifth point is even a bigger tell as everyone can get into some difficult financial situation due to a medical emergency or losing your job, but if your problems come from your gambling activities then this is definite proof you need to look for professional help.

Seem a normal signs of gamblers actually except

Quote
Having difficulty in controlling, cutting back, or stopping gambling despite several attempts.

Gamblers who attempt to stop and yet can't is indeed a problem already but the rest of them looks like a daily encounter of gamblers. Far worse than those list should be added like robbing family member's TV in order to sell and gamble the money is an example.

1489  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador President Hires Bitcoin Standard Author As Economic Advisor on: June 01, 2023, 03:06:29 AM
Nayib Bukele is a big fan of Bitcoin and I respect him for his strong belief in Bitcoin as well as his support for Bitcoin at national scale.

At another view, risk management at national scale, I disagree with Bukele by putting his nation into risk of debt and volatility of Bitcoin. That nation is already in very bad economics and national financial balance and debt, I really hope that the bet of Bukele on Bitcoin will not put his nation and his citizens into a national bankruptcy.

Positively is on him as the bear market is nearly over, only about 6 to 11 months before the bear market is officially over and it looks like we already passed through worst months in this bear market.

Maybe you are not aware. El Salvador paid its debt to IMF. Bukele seem to be doing it right and still got the support of the people despite the negative publication about him on the media outside their country.

Ammous is controversial though and has opinions that some of us may not agree. But I think Bukele needs a mind of someone who has an anarchist mind but at the same time educator. Ammous I believe is qualified and most importantly he believe in decentralization.
1490  Economy / Gambling / Re: is KYC data on Gambling sites safe? on: June 01, 2023, 02:54:57 AM
As we know, many gambling sites have Kyc requirements when making withdrawals. Some people may not have a problem with this condition, but some people think differently about doing Kyc. Some people refuse to fill in their Kyc data for fear of being misused. That's a natural thing, but is the worry too much?

Kyc actually has a function to prevent dangerous actions, such as money laundering. In addition, Kyc can also protect customers from account breakers.

Now there are several gambling sites that do not require Kyc to withdraw funds. That's good news. But I don't know if big money withdrawal need Kyc or not. I've never withdrawn much money.

Are you one of those who agree or refuse to fill out kyc on gambling sites? So far, the Kyc that you have filled in on the gambling site is safe? I've never had a problem with the Kyc that I filled out at the gambling site. Have you ever felt cheated from Kyc submitted?
Like you I make very small bets so I never had any problem with the withdrawals I ask, as this I something rare to begin with it as I usually deposit only the money I want to gamble and just leave it there until it runs out.

But on the instances in which I have asked a withdrawal then the money is sent to my address in a matter of minutes, however if I was forced to go through KYC as I obtained a massive win when I gambled then I would do so as I only gamble at some of the best casinos we have on the forum and I have no doubts about their reputation, but I will admit that if given the choice I would prefer to keep my privacy and avoid that process.

Its a hole to the system they have for now which anyone who withdraw just few satoshis will not be asked to submit KYC. Its something the regulators could ignore.

If sooner the casinos will ask KYC upon withdrawing just $100, small users will walk out. Not gonna be a worth while inmy opinion.

1491  Economy / Speculation / Re: One Bitcoin May Be Worth $1 Billion by 2038, Fidelity Says on: May 31, 2023, 07:56:23 PM

They're all just hyping it. Although they also believe BTC to be a rise-only in the long period of time. They all fail to predict the exact price and this $1B is way too much.

We're gonna be shouting for joy already even if the price hit $100k months after halving. And institutions like Fidelity will already be ready for the next years of bears.
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🥊 The UFC Info and Prediction Thread on: May 31, 2023, 07:36:54 PM
I just saw a video of Logan Paul wrestling with Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski, and all I can say is that this guy is no joke.
Than I found out he was ranked very high in State Championships when he was in high school, and he was a part of wrestling team at Ohio University.
Maybe we are going to see Logan Paul fighting in UFC or some other MMA organization soon, not only in WWE theater.
Training out: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fQQO0l1SGtA

Check out his WWE profile page:  Grin
https://www.wwe.com/superstars/logan-paul

That must be the goal.
There couldn't be any other reason to prepare for it but to fight in MMA. Jake will find it compromising to fight in UFC while he is signed in PFL. I think once mentioned he'll work to promote PFL, he'll bring old UFC fighters to PFL to fight him. I think its easier for him that way. If he can take Nate, he'd be confident to also cherry pick UFC fighters.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you guys ready to make your one dollar worth hundred dollar ?? on: May 31, 2023, 03:29:24 AM

Busted!  Grin

I have no idea what oscarswap but chances is that its the same as the previous dex or defi projects. We reached to the peak where innovation is on its height yet meme coin is the most hyped and not Dex.

This is a classic hype game of marketers.  He is the only one I see though, some may have post somewhere in many forums. I noiced lately that major forums on the internet already have CRYPTOCURRENCY section odwn their list even when the forum was all about Cars or Webmasters.
1494  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Exchanges X Canada on: May 31, 2023, 02:56:50 AM

^ Kraken already opened in Germany though.

A DEX (dydx) can be forced by government to shutdown seem not convincing for people to already go for DEX for there is no escape still.  Canada is a close ally of US which whatever they do there is also the plan in US.

The positve side of things though is that Europe is open for crypto just as Asia is.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Beterbiev Vs Smith AUG 19 2023 SATURDAY IBF / WBC / WBO LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT Title on: May 31, 2023, 02:19:38 AM

Bivol however, if he fights Arthur, he might lose which these organization also try to meddle.

I can also say and its safe to say that if Beterbiev fights Bivol he might lose also, both fighters are undefeated almost invincible in the ring, and the only way to figure this out is for them to fight in the ring, organizations where they belong should make it happen, it will be a pity if both fighters retire without taking each other, its a missed opportunity for them and a missed opportunity in boxing.
And both fighters will regret in the future why they have not moved mountains to face each other, we can say what if and speculate on the outcome.

The orgs sure can make it happen if they want to. From what I've read was that before they would give it  a green light they may have to make sure they have another dog to replace the losing one. A new breed of fighter shall emerge first among the ranking. They couldn't just afford to throw big shot fighters like Bivol or Beterbeiv under the bus wihtout prepared replacement. Same thing they didn't make Crawford and Spence happen yet.

The bookmakers can decide the odds whoever can possibly win. More than likely Beterbeiv.

1496  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling is a choice. on: May 31, 2023, 02:03:45 AM
We have the choice of making decisions of what we want and what we don't want. There are many ways to make decisions in especially choosing the kind of bet we want to go for based on our experience and interest. We should always make decisions on going bets that will give us profits and not make us lose big when we gamble.
The problem is not that we don't have a choice on the kind of games we may get involved in but the thing is how determined are we in following our inner mind to see how to effectively manage ourselves around working by our decisions, this is very important to our well being.

One may think that it is greed that pushes people into playing this kind of game but the truth is that there are forces that may boutsidehe individual control that also influences our decisions in this kind of situation.
Until a person finds themselves facing that situation they have no idea how will they react, after all it is easy to say that if we gamble then we need to stop once we are losing more than what we can afford to lose, but at the time the person may feel so dumb for allowing this to happen they may want to correct their mistake, and instead of simply giving up and accepting their losses they may try to chase their losses, a huge mistake but one that I can understand under the wrong circumstances.

Thats the mental of it. When they lose money they try to get even and hopefully make more.

Before they got to that point though someone must have introduced them to casino, an influencer is just one of them and the power of persuation applies not just off line but the internet can lure people to do just about anything like depositing funds for gambling.

1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Cardano still a good investment? on: May 31, 2023, 01:44:35 AM
Well now Cardano is going into the meme ways. Did you hear about new meme coin called $Snek it was launched 15 days ago?

It has gained 425% in just these 2 weeks after the launch. And 72% in just past week.  Its marketcap went from $275k to now marketcap of $61.6 Million. I think this is 'bullish' news for Cardano and makes it still good investment.

https://tokenist.com/cardano-has-a-meme-coin-now-and-its-up-425-over-two-weeks/

So much hype about this meme lately that I checked it yesterday, it grows more than 35%. I think this is the best meme for now that is worth about 0.001$ none of the memes that is worth that much as of now but doge.

But the community forgot that the first meme that is most popular according to the community itself was the HOSKY token. Its unclear why Snek suddenly fly but its making Cardano popular.
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price is always affected by world market news, why ??? on: May 31, 2023, 01:29:17 AM
By capture you mean invest without losing? Most recommendation actually is to buy at the bottom price where normally happens in the crypto bear market. I think you are at the right time to invest before the price exceeds the previous all time high.

Investors who hold their BTC for long term captures the market especially near halving.
1499  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Allow To Undergo Hypnosis If A Professional Recommend To Cure Gambling on: May 31, 2023, 01:21:01 AM
I'd more seek for a professional help rather than hypnosis. One reason is because professionals have license which proves that they know what they are doing unlike with those people who hypnotizes people who only have experience. Professionals would have 'recovery' procedure if ever something bad happen which guarantees one's safety. Professionals won't suggest or recommend their client to unlicensed individuals 'coz that would be unethical. I am aware of how hypnosis works and for sure there are aspects of it which cannot be gauged. How would the hypnosis be limited to gambling alone and not with other behaviors? Which is for me is risky.

I think OP is framing this question in a context where a person has ran out of options and traditional approaches had not given the expected results to control the problem gambling.

It is similar to those who may suffer from stress, for example, and after giving a try to pills and other kinds of medicine with limited results, they decide to go for meditation or oriental medicine, some things works, others do not. The important thing here is not to mix alternative medicine and treatments with quackery, there is where the danger is, in my humble opinion.

What could possibly be a reason for someone to have no other option when an individual still has money to pay for hypnosis. A gambling addict would more than likely bet than pay to hypnotize him. They chase their loss, they can't possibly chase their loss if they pay their money to a psychologist.

Getting broke is more of an option tbh. Once broke they can stop gambling or rob to gamble.

1500  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is prohibited for use as payment on the island of Bali, Indonesia on: May 30, 2023, 10:52:04 AM

Why is it that you sound furious about it when after all its their rules. No need to campaign to remove the destination from the tourist destination list.

You can spend their local currency when you visit the island. There is no need to get fuzzy about the local government there. You'd be glad to send their own currency to pay than BTC since you can save the coins for yourself.
