my friend send me btc from blockchain with default fee and 2 day not confirm and it be come ghost transaction disappear from my coinbase and even i use https://www.viabtc.com/tools/txaccelerator/ it say id does not exist Maybe the "default fee" from the wallet you are using isn't high enought to be confirmed. I had $2 in a old wallet and I sended this amount to my new wallet with a $0.6 fee. This is a very small amount and very bellow the amount sugested by my Electrum. But after 2 days (and using viabtc accelerator) my payment god confirmed. You should always check https://bitcoinfees.21.co/ to see how much do you need AT LEAST to make a payment, even if you don't want to pay the "suggested" fee.

1 - The traditional money is centralized, can be controlled and created by your government when they please. Since Bitcoin is not regulated, no one controls your money, and that's why Bitcoin is the money of the people.
2 - Bitcoin can be both investment and currency while real money is only money which is subject to inflation as the world roll.
Enjoy all the features Bitcoin can provide you while you are subject to profit in the future from Bitcoin's price rise.

The community need to do some big changes to handles this transactions. This can't be happening, this could mean a possible "death" to Bitcoin if they don't fix this shit.
I hope people stop this war between BU and Segwit and start solving those problems.

I would buy more BTC and hold. The only problem is, what could have happened with Bitcoin to fall that much?
Depending on what the problem might be, I think Bitcoin would be dead for real.

I really liked your website simple design and functionality. The only feature I'm missing from preev is the support for other currencies like BRL, which is my country's currency. Other than that, its looking good. ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

For the same reason they buy Bitcoin:
To get rich. To be a early bird in a possible future new economic era.
Also, there are a lot of altcoins with great potential to become something big: ETH, XRP, DCR, etc.

Not that bad but last year I sold 0.6 BTC for R$ 1200,00 (Brazil's currency). Now this amount is worth ~R$ 3,400. I only sold because my mother wanted me to.

If criminals are able to buy weapons with some ease, why can't "people of good" buy aswell to protect themselves? We must have the right to defend our life, our family and also our patrimony.
I'm from Brazil and I think we should be able to buy a gun. That's my opinion.

That's just sad. I remember when I could pay a few cents to send my friends some satoshis just for fun. Now, I can't send amounts lower than $1 because I will need to pay the double just in fees.
We better get a solution asap or bitcoin will only be useful to send high amounts of cash.

Not yet. But its just because I'm a minor without money depending of my mother. If it depended on me, I would have more than 5 bitcoins by now.
My mother thinks Bitcoin its just another internet "waste of time" related thing, and every time bitcoin price rises I show her how many money we could have won by now.
Here in brazil the bitcoin started to be divulgated, and I'm really thinking about spending all my money in bitcoin but I'm afraid. You shouldn't spend all your money on Bitcoin. First, because you still need physical cash to spend day-by-day (it's Brazil after all). Second, it's too risky. What you can do is buy something like 10% per month or even 30% if you are able to lose some cash if the price goes down, and hold.

Prove it to your mother that bitcoin is real, if you can convince here she might give you some capital to start investing with bitcoin, dude your age doesn't matter, if you know the creator of Ethereum, vitalik is very young but that is not a hindrance for him to do his passion and he is rich now already. By the way, he made money from bitcoin before making his own. Hey man, thanks for the awesome words. Gladly, my mother is actually starting to believe on Bitcoin because of this ransomware stuff. Why? Because the main tv show from my country started to talk about Bitcoin (in a good way and not making it look like criminals money). Because of that, she asked me stuff about how Bitcoin works and ~30 minutes ago she said she may start giving me some money to invest on Bitcoin every month!! Maybe now I can start looking forward for my first whole Bitcoin? ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

It's going to be a great year for Bitcoin after all.
Here in Brazil, Tv channels are starting to make documentarys about Bitcoin (in a good way), and its benefits. My mother finally started talking with me about my "virtual coins".

I don't think there will be a lot of impact on the price. People need to stop trying to blame bitcoin just because It's being used by criminals.
It's the same as blaming the Dollar just because someone kidnapped your son and asked for money.

At the moment, the high fees and long time of confirmation. This way we can't use bitcoin to buy some day-by-day coffee.
