1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Another big step to adoption bitcoin from VISA! on: December 08, 2020, 08:29:01 AM
What I want to know is what exactly pushed such big company to accept this technology. We know in this industry how beneficial cryptos are as a mode of payment but things are different in the eyes of the masses wherein the impression is not that good towards cryptocurrencies. IMO what PayPal did, contributed to what Visa is about to make. As I've mentioned before, a domino effect could be triggered once a huge company makes a move and that seems to happen.

Perhaps better understanding of the technology and how it will be beneficial to their business both in long and short term base, i mean they are not ignorant to the fact about the way the crypto community is growing and many services are beginning to accept btc as an alternative payment option, so i believe it will be in their best interest to reevaluate their stand on the issue before they lose out, PayPal announcement was more like a wake-up call to some of them.
1522  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto regulation, a topic of discussion in G-7 meeting on: December 08, 2020, 07:23:29 AM
how do we expect government acceptance of crypto without any form of regulations! if truly the crypto community are yawning for mass adoption by the government then i guess this is the price to pay to have that mass adoption that we so desired otherwise it will still remain an unauthorized part of the economy,  am not surprise to hear this because at the end it was going to be the end result.
1523  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If Facebook launches LIBRA then nobody will invest in it on: December 06, 2020, 05:15:42 PM
If Facebook launches LIBRA then nobody will invest in it

Stable coins are created just to earn more bitcoins, Facebooks' aim is to launch a stable coin but I think people won't take any interest to invest in a stable coin because it will only offer benefits to facebook to earn more bitcoins, while the community and investors will have no benefits. I don't think that anyone will ever be interested to invest a penny in it.

All my other predictions come true (you may check bitcoin forum) but still there is no whale who ever donated a penny.
Probably but how are other stable coins like USDT making their money? I'm sure they aren't doing free work pegging digital currency to Fiat, what's more important to facebook is making more money out of libra, whether people invest or not is not the top priority, if libra can be available for traders on Centralized exchanges then that's all

Yeah I guess through commission or something similar is the way usdt could be making their money, between I assume libra already have institutional investors to fund the project so whether individuals invest or not won't be an issue to the development of the project.
1524  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Email address exposure in spreadsheet on: December 06, 2020, 05:05:46 PM
bounty programs are almost dead. all good bounty managers who still mananging bounty campaigns do not collect emails or they hide emails. and ethereum adresses.

What do you mean by bounty program are almost dead? Do you know this is the cheapest way for project owners to do marketing about their project? As long as there is always going to be a new project there will mostly likely going to be a bounty program,

And as for exposing of emails, that's up to the bm to know the right 5hingbto do, it doesn't make any sense to expose participant's emails in the first place.
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Not Sure On Whether To Buy Crypto Or Not? on: December 05, 2020, 07:18:55 AM
On the fence about buying crypto? Or about buying MORE crypto? Here’s everything you need to know about why you should buy more. https://www.tap.global/why-you-should-buy-bitcoin

Is it possible to accurately predict whether it is necessary to invest 100% money in one or another currency? In my opinion, give preference to coins that are in the top and analyze possible purchase options.
This nice page to find new coins:
https://coinmarketcap.com/new/

I Don think that's even possible, nobody can accurately predict a certain project will give 100% returns, everything investment is about taking chances, predictions do occur in a positive or negative way, sometimes we expect an investment to give xx in a particular period but it will happen in the opposite direction,
It is better to have a prepared mind that it could go either way, however, if the the investment is intended for long term then it is possible to expect good return especially when the project has what it takes.
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Regulation possible? Regulation Inevitable? on: December 05, 2020, 06:39:08 AM
I think that if a group of countries or the International Monetary Fund controls Bitcoin and regulates it in the future, then Bitcoin at that time will be no different from fiat at the present time, as these countries will impose their strict laws and conditions on all Bitcoin transfers and will also impose identity verification by (kYC) and more, and Bitcoin will turn into something more like decentralization and lose all of its current features.

It will some how comes to this if we want government of all countries to adopt and accept btc as a mode of transaction by shifting away from fiat,
No government of any country will accept the use of a totally decentralise currency without any form of regulations, I don't see that happening, so the dream of government accepting it will still be more on theory than in practice.
1527  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake black Friday deals on: December 04, 2020, 03:57:04 PM
You don't need to be told that those are fake deals from scammers sending random emails to their bulk mails, especially when you didn't sign up for such thing, it is festive season and scammers are doing everything possible to take advantage of this period everyone should be extremely careful and avoid opening mails from unknown sources.
1528  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New feature on AltcoinsTalks forum - you can teleport your rank from bitcointalk on: December 02, 2020, 06:00:26 PM
unfortunately at this time I only have a full member rank and I see that the altcoinstalks forum is not a full member rank available, so what is the solution to teleporting using my bitcointalk account which is still a full member?

You have to re-read the post because from what I read above   full member and above from bitcointalk is the rand that can be teleported, I think you can teleport your full member just fine,
Perhaps this is a good thing for those who would like to teleport their bitcointalk account to altcoinstalk to participate in bounties over there, sounds interesting.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin fueling to launch to the moon anytime soon. on: December 01, 2020, 05:34:14 AM
"No stopping" is not much possible because there will always be investors who wait for Bitcoin to reach a specific level and then sell their Bitcoins. We had a Bitcoin halving on this year and I hope it can show its effect on the price and Bitcoin can start a bull run in a few months.

I think it is safe to say the halving effects already visible in price, perhaps it didn't come immediately as expected but currently the price has been surging for days and I believe this is part of the aftermath of the btc halving, btc bull run  already started imo, but this time in different format plus alts are not carried along this time or perhaps not yet,

If what has been happening to btc this past few days is not bull run then I can't wait to see what the next bull run will be like, because judging from this past days, it will be explosive.
1530  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hitting ATH right now? on: December 01, 2020, 05:24:34 AM
~

The breakout may eventually occur, but it is going to take some time. I would even say that there is a good chance that the 20K level won't be breached this month. One thing that surprises me is that we are yet to witness any large scale profit booking. When the prices increase from 10K to 20K in a span of 3-4 weeks, it is only natural to expect a lot of profit booking. But it seems like the investors are holding on, expecting higher profits.

Perhaps profit takers will swing into action as festivities approaches, I was also expecting a large sell off with price increase but so far everything is in play, most likely btc will play around 18k - 19k in this month and by January we will see the breakout,   market can be trickish, we might be surprise it will do the opposite but overall btc has performed fantastic in 2020 imo.
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Should Crypto users use VPN's ? You decide..... on: November 30, 2020, 02:14:57 PM
If you are in a country where there are restrictions regarding crypto activities there is nothing you can do than to use a vpn to access the restricted places,
People who find themselves in this situation don't have much choice unfortunately, I don't believe all the vpn service providers will act same, am sure some of them will to their word and protect users privacy, and I agree about decentralised vpn, if they are available it will be a better option otherwise you make do of what is available.
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People still don't know about Bitcoin on: November 30, 2020, 02:07:27 PM
There are many people who still don't know about bitcoin or other cryptocurrencies. I don't know about others I am talking about my country and about my society. Whenever I ask from people about or talk about the Bitcoin. They ask what is this?

How much there is who face this problem?

Not just your country, it happens in other countries too many people are still ignorant of btc, for now the number of people who are aware and understand btc is very little compare to those are still unaware but even at that the btc awareness keeps growing steadily,
Compare to previous years btc has gain a lot of exposure, many people know btc now, if you look at the crypto Community, and as time passes many people will join the space.
1533  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AIRDROP] SURGE-everyday rising price WAVES smart asset.New economical game on: November 29, 2020, 04:32:23 AM
So it's not possible to sell it? Is it a scam?

I vaguely remembered this hyped project that gained popularity for a short burst. To be fair, they were not scamming per se, the price just got hyperinflated that no one want to buy. They're more than 1,000 USD per token. Surely no one wanted to buy at the level

The pattern of the price pump makes it to look like a suspicious project, how do you find a project that will only go up and would never come down or dip for a correction like every other normal project in the market!
If the token already pumped that high of course people will be afraid to get it but there is assurance the price will never dip so I guess they have nothing to fear Grin
1534  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ✅🔥[ANN] [ICO] JACS - Internet 3.0 Decentralized Infrastructure 🔥✅ on: November 29, 2020, 04:23:43 AM
An interesting thing that worth to be considered is perhaps the future price of this project. True that it didn't gain much on ICO, but that fact can somehow turns into a great advantage if dev play their cards well. As someone mentioned on the telegram group, which I found myself completely agree and hopeful, token price after listing should move multiplefolds due to the burned unsold token.

Now, if we do marketing on this fact... people would want to buy during the earlier day of listing.

so, unsold token will be burn, thats really smart idea, because less supply will bring more demands
by the way i saw now, this token already tradeable on exchange https://app.bitskrix.com/exchange/?market=JACS_USD
i hope soon we will see this token in other exchange

Less supply with real life application is what will drive demand not only less supply without any usage,  and am wondering how much funds was raised during the sale, if the team already made the announcement regarding this or not yet,
Between I am just hearing about this exchange the first time,  honestly I expected a bit known exchange that will give the project the right support, anyways, the team knows what is best for their project.
1535  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is it right time to buy Altcoin ? on: November 28, 2020, 02:46:29 PM
Anyway, today's price decline is perhaps one of the last chances when we can again buy profitable assets at a cheap price. at least we have already made sure that the cryptocurrency market is aimed at a long and rather high rise in prices. And Bitcoin will definitely go up and, as has always happened, if it does not lead the entire cryptocurrency market, then at least the bulk of altcoins.
Opportunity to buy good alts at very low price, for those who want to be in the game for long term, best time to pick up some, maybe the market won't dip any lower than this,
I got my eyes on a token and place a low buy order till now my order has not been filled yet, price has refuse to dip lower, kinda hoping it will, don't want to miss out on a good price.
1536  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Undervalued Project that will suprised us in the Long Run on: November 28, 2020, 02:22:45 PM
As much as I appreciate cz as a business person I don't think it is wise to just buy any project just because cz is connected to the project, no doubt bnb has become the most expensive exchange token out there, bnb is definitely worth holding because it is long term project with real usage, am not so sure about the other project the op mentioned but I know bnb has the capability to grow even higher than current price.
1537  Economy / Speculation / Re: HODL or SELL what do you think ? on: November 27, 2020, 10:37:22 AM
Hi, BTC was 19 k, now it's 16600 what is your strategy to continue to HODL or sell all the assets?

Haven't this past few days thought you something! you can at least take 2017 as a case study, you know what happened after btc famous ATH, people bought at 20k and some of them did not lose hope and continue holding, recently btc was as high as 19k+ which to me was a good price for those who held for so long to sell and buy back below,
the point is, this is a correction after the price pump, selling now won't make any sense unless you are sure it will dip even lower to buy back, otherwise just hold and relax.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why make New Crypto Exchanges on: November 27, 2020, 10:27:08 AM
It may be true that a new exchange is only a temporary stopover, it is better not to go to a new exchange as it is very risky to your funds. I prefer to stick with legacy exchanges with acclaimed credibility like binance and bittrex.

Unfortunately new exchange have turned to quick money grab tool, the founders are not very interested in making a name or trying to create a standard product that will satisfy consumers, most of this newly launched exchanges all have hidden agenda, they are part of the problem new projects are facing on a daily basis, at the end they will milk and wreck that project, it is very important to stay away as possible as we can.
1539  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [ENDED][DISTRIBUTION COMPLETE] - Sheng World - Fixed Stake on: November 25, 2020, 12:07:54 PM
I had staked tokens for 3 months with Sheng and had to receive my tokens by 15th November in my probit account but they haven't been sent even after a week. No reply from any of the team members now.

The bm made an announcement regarding sheng in his Telegram group i suggest you try and check it out, it seem project has gone to sleep, I doubt even if you receive your reward you will be able to sell,
I have a similar experience with a certain project and I don't think I will involve myself in such offer ever again.
1540  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: $WAVES to hit $10 price soon? on: November 25, 2020, 08:58:38 AM
Its been long time since the last i read a topic about Wave coin, though back in 2017 Wave and Neo are one of those coins that making noise (of course the top currencies.)

Now checking the Market its more than 7$ in value though yesterday pumped upto $8.50  So i think 10$ is fair enough to expect for Wave this year end.

and we might Get profit from investing on this coins for at least until 2-4 months from now.

If there will be a big market push i think very possible to see waves close to previous ATH (if not hit that price again), waves deserves to have a high price from the progress achieved so far,  as long as the team keeps their mind focus and continue with strategic development, a even higher price is very achieveable, this is a slow and steady kind of project, good old waves have really weather the storm since 2016.
