I've nearly doubled my stash in the past few days by doing the complete opposite to what those idiots say, so keep on trollin' I guess.

This seems to work nicely for those who are willing to trade. I just have an enormous "ignore list" here.  Grin

You guys are hilarious. I hope you trolls are trading and not just some whale's puppet, because it'd be way more lucrative.

They're puppet(s).  Undecided

What have Singapore got to do with us?

Global currency wars, global economics.

Exactly. Sooner than later everyone is cutting their shorts on USD QE. First one was Japan, then Switzerland, then the EU. Now Singapore. Do you see a pattern there, or am I the only one dreaming here?

At some point within the next year (approx) I expect to see the Yuan peg removed.

China is the elephant in the room (well, apart from the US). I'm sure that the ripples of this splash will cause a tsunami into currency markets. Let's see how this evolves.

Why aren't the Greeks and Russians buying?

Can't say anything for Greeks, but Russians are buying USD, because RUB is being inflated much faster than USD, so the majority of the people don't notice any USD inflation.

Greeks don't have any money to buy. Some of us have some BTCs though  Grin

Cheesy I cringe whenever i see these 2 goofy fucks trying to sell me snake oil

Me too. And I believe in the snake oil.

I know that Bitcoin will be used by all kind of people, but these two fucks holding a big piece of the pie doesn't really make me comfortable at all... I don't like their approach to business in any way.

Meh, they got lucky by having an idea that many other people had (I think it crossed my mind at some point) and got lucky enough to have it around someone with the inclination to actually implement it (not that I'm a fan of Zuckerberg) and got a lottery win from the lawsuit. They have to do something "productive" with all that money to prove that it wasn't Zuckerberg's hard work that made Facebook successful I guess.

Don't act like that. There's plenty of room for everyone.

In a representative democracy that means that you did it. It would probably help if corruption wasn't a national pastime.

Granted. That's when you voted for them. When they're DELIVERED, to you as a government - no you didn't.

Sorry but what current Greece has with the old Greece is just the territory and the bankruptcies
Just like Italians and the roman empire.

Greece is not just a country that is determined by its borders. It's spirit is everywhere. You're a bit Greek yourself since a part of what you studied was created here. A part of your language is Greek. Even a part of your ability to stand tall with your word here, is created here. It's politicians have nothing different from other politicians on other countries. They are as well corrupt. It's very bold to judge a whole country from its politicians.

Either you're not empathetic, or you're ineptly understand what it means for some people to be in a difficult situation. Thus, as an answer to your comment here, which is clearly erroneous, I will leave it as it is for other to judge it. Let me indulge you though, to look up something. Look up in the skies. Try to remember the constellation names. Google them. What language is it?

PS: Don't answer. I won't be reading this.

So tell me how the debt is in the name of the Greek goverment? With what money did they pay the state expenses?

I'm not sure if you're serious or trolling here. Which part is it that you DON'T understand that the NON elected Greek Government of Mr. Papadimos in 2011 signed the loan? Greece should have gone bankrupt by then. THEY DIDN'T LET US! If we did, we'd have our own coin back and we'd be able to put our debt into control easier than this internal horizontal cut-off of salaries and business shut downs. More here:

[...]
A long story short, EU is ruled by people who are bought from big financial organizations & corporations. They are ruling the world and they don't care if I have to feed my kid or if I don't have a job and I'm searching the garbage to get something to eat. They forced the other countries people to lend us money in order to keep up with a financial "success story" who was never meant to be one in the first place.

The reason behind this is far more complex if you want to speak the truth. Greece is found to be the 3rd country in the world in hydrocarbons. Crete, Cyprus, Corfu, wherever they searched they found enormous reserves. Why would they want to "save" us to begin with? I personally don't belong to the Left. Never was. I do believe though that at this phase, it's our only hope and I really wish they're for real. EU's financial terrorism must come to an end.

It's easy if you're outside of the problem to post thoughts and judge about other people's lives. It's not the same if you're part of the problem yourself.

I don't think he's trolling. Greece fucked up long before 2011. You cooked the books to make it look like the budget deficit was far smaller than it was for over a decade. Trying to take responsibility for greek debt is not the worst crime committed by greek politicians. But the numbers just don't add up and people have to get on with their lives.

Guilty as charged. With one correction: Our corrupt politicians did it. One of them (Tsohatzopoulos) is in jail as we speak. This chap could have lead PASOK instead of Papandreou for JUST ONE VOTE! My wish is that others will follow too. There are far too many from both big parties involved. I'm not dreaming though. I just wish.

Actually, it was your banks (including perhaps your central bank) lent to Greek banks (including presumably the Greek central bank) a mountain of euros.  Where that money went, it is not clear; but anyway the Greek government, that had been elected by the banks, decided that each Greek citizen had to fork 500 euros to pay your banks.  Which was the bankers' aim all along: take more wealth from the general public.

Trouble is, the Greek citizens were never asked whether they agreed to any step of that plan, not even told clearly what the plan was.

You talk as if Greece goverment didn't borrow anything for paying the welfare state. You talk as if the Greeks were being forced to subsidy Greek bank's losses from a private operation.

Mind you, and if you're misinformed I'm here to make it crystal clear, THAT'S EXACTLY how it's done.

I missed that election .....when did it happen?

Sorry, I did not follow what happened in Greece very closely.  In Italy there was no election, the bankers simply replaced Berlusconi by their man in the dictator's seat, and did not even bother to disguise it.  Did they do the same in Greece?

Damn right they did! Greece was THE FIRST one with Papadimou administration. Italy followed Tongue

Every person from our country lent 500€ to Greece. I would gladly transform this for few weeks on Corfu.
A beer for 100 drachmas and gyros for not much more - that was good times. Yamas!

I will have to agree with Jorge here, since no one ever asked the Greek people if they wanted the loan in the first place. Iceland had a vote about it, when mr Papandreou as a PM asked about it in the Cannes our EU friends forced him to resign. Iceland used the ELA and lead the banksters to prison where the thieves belong.

Yo Macsga!

Saw you made some changes in Greece this weekend!

Hopefully, this is only the beginning. Expect more from Greece. We owe it to ourselves.

In case you too lazy to google here is the link to full article from above

http://www.paymentssource.com/news/interchange/the-fed-backs-away-from-bitcoin-for-real-time-payments-3020418-1.html

Here is where i take isue with the articles author: but why wouldn't the fed use hobonickels? Lol

Fed is setting it up so banks can make their own blockchain coin probably like paycoin etc they can control
tweak.....thus shutting out this 'pesky' bitcoin open source coin

which looks like for bank to bank xfer of money transfers etc they could probably do w/o a lot of issue
getting the rest of us to accept such a 'controlled coin' is somthing else imho

but then again i used to believe in KNC miners so wtf do I know..
You're actually much smarter than people who believed in AMT.

Even if they have plans they are far from realizing them. It's like that article about quantum computers Wink

Having a digital coin doing the same job that fiat does at the moment? What for? They can transfer all the fiat they want at once and without a problem right now. Besides, if they want an inflation-capable coin they have already some to choose from: Ripple, Doge, you name it. I believe they want the blockchain integration into their business. Bitcoin (as an application) is not so significant. The "river" is blockchain. Bitcoin is just a boat that floats inside.
