1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you protect your digital coins? on: May 08, 2019, 08:32:32 PM
I used to keep my funds in different exchanges before but because of some hacking cases, I have learned to keep it in my nano ledger. Protecting our digital coins is necessary because of the fact that hackers could steal it in just a single moment. No matter how hard we keep our private keys, hackers have their own ways do pursue stealing so we have to be wiser than them.
1542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Income from crypto trading. on: May 08, 2019, 07:31:24 PM
Patience is the best investment that I ever had here in crypto world. You'll gain nothing if you'll quit. The moment I enter crypto trading and investing, I have kept in mind that there's a big risk that I'm taking but as the market situation gets better, my hopes are getting bigger as well.
Dealing with the changes in the market with a positive mind is the best thing that we could do.
1543  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Wash trading with crypto exchanges on: May 08, 2019, 07:03:52 PM
That's the reason why we have to be observant and keen on choosing a reputable exchange. Fake volumes could deceive traders. It's just disappointing that most trading volumes that we see are already manipulated but as long as we stick to our simple trading strategy, we would still be able to trade and gain without being deceived by fake volumes.
1544  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why P2P Escrow Exchanges are gaining momentum - for all payment modes on: May 08, 2019, 06:43:34 PM
We can't guarantee that p2p could really provide an assurance of security and safer transactions but I guess it could at least assure us that the risk of hacking is quite lower in this another decentralized exchange. The fact that they're offering lower fees than centralized exchange is an advantage of choosing it. After all, it's still in the process of long improvement so we can't really conclude that it's a perfect choice over top exchanges.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SegWit and tainted coins on: May 08, 2019, 06:11:04 PM
I am a bit curious about the recent Binance Hack, in my opinion it was the same guy or girl of July 2018. I looked into the binance Hack of last year, where the nearly equal amount of 7k like this time got all transferred into SegWit Adresses, like the recent one.

So.. you think the same hacker from last year is the same hacker that did this recent one, just because both used a SegWit address? Uhh.. no.

I think that's unreasonable. We can't conclude that it was committed by the same hacker just because the amount being hacked is nearly the same. Using Segwit address isn't a reason enough to say that it has been done by the same person. I think more than one person is involved since there are varieties of strategies being used. Let's wait for the result of the investigation then.
1546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency: lives or dies? Part 1 on: May 08, 2019, 05:21:37 PM
People have doubted about cryptocurrency and they have underestimated it even when it was just starting but the more they drag it down, the more it's developing and firmly standing. Cryptocurrency has been through a lot and has passed all the tests of time so in my personal opinion, no matter how we doubt about it and how many controversies may it face, it will never die but rather grow continuously.
1547  Economy / Economics / Re: Rumor: E*Trade Is Close to Launching Cryptocurrency Trading on: May 08, 2019, 05:04:44 PM
It might just be another rumour for us but it could also be a piece of hope for more cryptocurrency adoption.
Though Etrade is restricted in some countries, if it would launch a new cryptocurrency trading, it could still be a huge factor since US has a biggest number of traders around the world. We all know the risk that exchanges are experiencing due to hacking incidents and this news would be a good option in the future.
1548  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best coins to invest before bullrun (if happen) on: May 08, 2019, 03:01:42 PM
If I were to suggest, top coins like bitcoin and ethereum are the best choice. They're well-established compare to new coins these days. I could say that you would have an assurance that you could gain a good profit when the market booms again.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Sports Betting Tips on: May 08, 2019, 12:32:46 PM
Well, those are already good lists of pointers when sports betting not just on basketball but any other sports. That is why most people choose sports betting than any gambling games since you can consider team stats and strategy when betting. Thank you for sharing.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency: Is It Still Alive or Dying? Part 2 on: May 08, 2019, 12:01:10 PM
It's time-consuming if we would read the whole content. They're right, you should have made it shorter where we will be able to understand it better. Just an answer to the title, cryptocurrency is active and progressive so you already know the answer.
1551  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance hacked. 7000 BTC stolen. on: May 08, 2019, 11:58:22 AM
Have read several threads about this. Well, honestly what happened to Binance stopped bitcoin price momentum. It could  be another move to spread FUD and to manipulate the market. Binance is one of the most trusted platform in cryptoand this might cause people's diatrust in platform's security.

Just keep in mind it is never safe to leave huge funds in any exchange, so secure your money and stay safe.
1552  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Best way to store physical copy of Key weather & tamper proof on: May 08, 2019, 11:21:05 AM
Hey guys,

So we have some multi-sig wallets for which I own one key and some other folks in my family own rest.
I wanted to keep the coins secured and store the keys away from each other such that it is weatherproof and you have to break it to see the paper key.

The key can be seed to Ledger.

I was considering sealing the paper in epoxy and add a paint layer which you have to scratch.
If there is already some solution then please guide me.

Why go thru with such security. Just keep it in a piece of paper and secure the key. Are hou holding that much in your ledger? I also have a ledger and I have most of my assets there and never thought of sealing the papr where i put the seeds to my ledger. Just put it somewhere safe and secure.
1553  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance losing 7000 BTC and the consequences of a ROLL Back on: May 08, 2019, 11:16:38 AM
Well, traders funds in Binance is SAFU, but the problem is, it still has an effect in the market. It might be another inside job intended to create FUD in the market since the market is preparing to rise-up. Just stay safe, and never leave your funds in any exchange.
1554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Who is trading on P2P wallet exchanges? on: May 08, 2019, 09:59:57 AM
Since there's a controversy about binance hacking,
I guess it's the right time for us to focus on P2p exchanges. I haven't tried purchasing or buying bitcoin through it but the current binance hacking case convinced me to switch on p2p.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Advise Newbies To Enter Bitcoin Now? on: May 08, 2019, 07:37:23 AM
Instead of advising them to join in Bitcoin during this time, I think it's best to share some information on how bitcoin works so they won't regret their decision to enter cryptocurrency.
I would advise them to seek knowledge about it first before they decide to invest.
Everyone has the right to enter Bitcoin but as bitcoiners,
we should help newbies to make the right decisions and actions.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whats happend to india and the world on: May 08, 2019, 06:49:53 AM
India is a rich country and most of them don't think of blockchain adoption because all they know is they don't need it. They would want regulation and manipulation so they don't want crypto adoption since it's decentralized.
1557  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casino Faucet on: May 08, 2019, 01:01:59 AM
Well, there's a lot of bitcoin-casinos with faucet such as: Stake, Primedice, FortuneJack. However, you should not depend on faucets since faucets are not really that generous as it was before, and you cannot actually abuse it since you can only claim whenever you have zero balance. Instead, try out those site since they have generous rewards and prizes awaiting for their players.
1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for some trusted gambling site. on: May 08, 2019, 12:15:02 AM
At the moment there are many trusted sites are present in the market. Just like Bethash, Stake.com, Eosbet. You can love these platforms after making the use of it.
Yes correct. But you should consider some of the features and fact about those crypto gambling websites. You should choose the gambling website that is running and improving after some years. Stake is new but we know that the team of primedice is the one who manages it so it is very legitimate as well as bethash it has good graphics that will make you enjoy the game.
Running some years but have a bunch of complaints their service will not give any sense. You can review through their ANN thread here in the forum and the community of that gambling site before choosing them. I won't give any gambling site that we recommend to others let them research and know which gambling site is comfortable them to gamble because each of us has a different way of perspective view on how to choose better gambling site.

I agree, there's no such thing as perfect gambling site, there will always be complains, scam accusation and dissatisfied players. However, what sets-aside one gambling site to another is the teams effort to improve and deliver good service and entertainment to it's players and supporters. One of the best site that I had seen such effort is Stake, they had been active on extending their effort to provide quality service to their players. We all know that Stake is just starting to become famous among gamblers because of their generosity and being active in their promotion and marketing, that is why the number of players and supporters in Stake is growing.
1559  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Best and Fairest Online Gambling Site on: May 08, 2019, 12:03:18 AM
For me I have tried Stake, Primedice, FortuneJack, 777, Cloudbet which is also trusted by most players. Each of them has unique bonuses, accepts bitcoin and other currencies, instant withdrawal and different kinds of challenges and prizes for their players. Just feel free to try out different casinos since almost all of us has different preferences.
