1561  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most interesting news? on: March 15, 2015, 12:31:04 PM
to me it was bitstamp losing plenty of bitcoins due to theft and bter as well.
glad it is behind us now. we have had enough bad news this year.
it is not interesting! It was bad news for bitcoin, which had a bad impact on the image of bitcoin!
1562  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin Venture Capital per Quarter is Exploding :) on: March 15, 2015, 03:09:39 AM
Nice graph! Millions of dollars are invested in bitcoin and support its ecosystem! The price will be reflecting the reality soon! The best strategy is to buy now until the price is booming!
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: It it still that easy to make $$$$ with alts? on: March 15, 2015, 12:39:17 AM
Sure it's easy.  Create a dumb name, steal a logo from Mass Effect and call it 'second generation' and install backdoors in the code.  These people did it very well.

Count the people in the photo - eight people - just like the eight whales of NXT.  Last laugh is on them.   Cheesy  They became millionaires while everybody else is holding the bag.   Shocked

Well OP that doesn't help you very much, unless you want to create your  own crypto.   Grin
i don't think you know about NXT! It has 72 original investors, means 72 whales. But they are not dumping their holding!
1564  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you have a favorite city or country to spend time and Bitcoins? on: March 14, 2015, 02:50:58 PM
I'd like to use the Bitcoin in my city. The problem is that there are nearly no ppl who accepts Bitcoin. I don't like to travel, so I hope one day Bitcoin will be popular then I can shop here and don't bother to go the tired, long journey to spend bitcoin.
1565  Local / 中文 (Chinese) / Re: 关于JUA支持bter重建的公告 on: March 12, 2015, 12:50:37 PM
如果bter能够偿还用户的全部资产,我还是会支持bter并回到bter交易的。支持! Smiley 其他交易所都是关门跑路的。
比特儿恢复交易了,丢失的比特币以后会从手续费收入中归还!

1567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin, ripple and etherum on: March 10, 2015, 03:54:58 PM
How did you came up with the crazy thought that the bitcoins' organic price is 50$ ?

It's visible in this screenshot from the future - https://i.imgur.com/0nkszPg.png

Grin  lol this can't be right..   Ripple can't exist beyond 2015..
How do you come to this idea? Don't you see ripple have a great potential? Ripple is an Internet protocol that interconnects the world’s disparate financial systems to enable the secure, real-time transfer of funds in any currency. As settlement infrastructure, Ripple transforms and enhances today’s financial systems. Ripple unlocks assets and provides access to payment systems for everyone, empowering the world to move value like information moves today.

It's not a blockchain technology, it's just a payments protocol, it has nothing to do with bitcoin, all it does is moving money..

"Ripple is the open-source payments protocol for free and instant exchange of any form of money or value."
ripple is our real life application of cryptographic protocol in global money remittance! It has a lot of potential in the future.
1568  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BTCPoint Creates 10,000 Bitcoin-Enabled ATMs Using Spanish Bank Network on: March 09, 2015, 02:40:18 PM
Hopefully it will be available in more countries! When we travel there, just bring our cell phone with bitcoin wallet! It will eliminate the need of credit card and huge transaction fees.
1569  Economy / Lending / Re: Loans with no collateral. on: March 09, 2015, 08:13:59 AM

It makes sense if the Facebook account is real. Roll Eyes I think his purpose is different. Be careful!

   -MZ

I'm not say OP was trying to scam or whatever here.
But i agree with M.Zakir , scammer can use our real identity to scam people/our friends/family with information from our real FB account.
Be smart don't expose your real identity only to borrow $1-$2.
agree. Especially a Newbie was issuing a loan. When we do business, at least we should find some reputational member.
1570  Other / Archival / Re: Need small $5 loan > Paying back $6 in 4 days on: March 09, 2015, 08:08:34 AM
No collateral no loan is the rule here. Before you asked for a loan, please at least provide legit collateral. It is anonymous cryspto world, we don't know each other. So we have our rules.
1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple v NextCoin v Quark v Peercoin v Litecoin ? Which? on: March 09, 2015, 07:36:40 AM
I hold coin in all of the above.

Which, if any do you think I should hold onto? Which should I get rid of?

Is there another I should be trading for that?

Ripple - trash coin unminable coin owned by a company
NextCoin - disturbed to 70 people garbage
Quark- LOL I'm not even gonna go there
Peercoin- first pos coin cool idea just failed to take off (low volume)
Litecoin - fairly disturbed no premine on every chinese exchange ,daily volume in the millions.

Now you could listen to retard trolls on here or you could look at the facts.
Why not hold some bitcoin? It is the leading cryptocurrency. Probably nobody has dispute with that. In altcoin world, different ppl has different points views of them.
1572  Other / Meta / Re: Accounts. on: March 06, 2015, 02:05:37 PM
I want to mention that the most strict campaign I have experienced is the Lucky.bit, but their reward is really attractive for farming account. They tracked the bitcoin address of every account who have enrolled or apply to enroll. If bitcoin address are associated with any existing or previous members of the campaign, then they are out.
1573  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Is Safer Compared To Other Digital Payment Platforms on: March 05, 2015, 03:41:41 PM
I don't get the survey... Bitcoin is safer than online wallets and mobile apps? Bitcoin can be "stored" in online wallets and make transactions on mobile apps! I think the survey shows how little an average person understands bitcoin.
like the title stated,   Other online wallets and mobile apps referred to other digital Payment Platforms.
1574  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTER.com hacked - 7170 BTC stolen [DON'T KEEP YOUR MONEY ON AN EXCHANGE] on: March 05, 2015, 02:53:21 PM

Oh, Thanks for clearing that..  In that case, I guess we'll be waiting a long time until we get access to our funds..  Embarrassed

They closed office.. they 3th week do not procced withdraw.. You realy still hope they will return funds? What will change in a week? They will either stop posts or will offer another stupid explanation why they can't start withdraw, like them backup broken, or they forgot passwords from cold wallets or them "partners" want to provide audit before buy exchange and it will take another week and so on and so on, they can keep time forever, no way to force them, no way to catch them.

I know they will repay all the altcoins the unique thing that they will not reimburse is : bitcoin , and I will not use again their cryptocurrency exchange if they will re open.
From the first incidence of the stolen btc, we should fully realize their sloppy security level and leave there Now far severe incidence happened again, which causes the downfall of entire business. Now they state they will rebuild their website. What were they doing when the first incidence occurred? I doubt there will be anyone who will trust them again?
1575  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: March 05, 2015, 09:59:25 AM
I am just surprised at the fact how come a senior member becomes a doomster of Bitcoin! After viewing you post history, I found you have involved a lot in the bitcoin stock investing. Probably you made some loss so you are despaired of it. In crypto world there are a lot of scams, fraudulence etc. It is fully understood that some ppl encounter it and leave.
1576  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Signature campaigns? on: March 05, 2015, 09:44:39 AM
I recommend you join LuckyBit full member 0.075 / month at least 50 posts.
if you post a lot, you can join  bit-x which is paid by post.
1577  Economy / Exchanges / Re: BTER.com hacked - 7170 BTC stolen [DON'T KEEP YOUR MONEY ON AN EXCHANGE] on: March 05, 2015, 09:37:51 AM
I think Bter just needs more time to do what they have promised. I still trust them. They said they will phase the withdrawal of deposits in there exchange. So far we can withdraw USD, CNY, and NXT assets. They have delivered what they have promised. Can you imagine what a miserable theft they just experienced at their point of view! Why not spare them some more time to fix the potential issues? Probably you have a chunk of deposit there and just throw away what you are thinking! Never mind! Time will tell everything!
1578  Economy / Economics / Re: Will negative interest rate be a boon to Bitcoin? on: March 04, 2015, 09:54:37 AM
BTC is too price unstable to be an attractive alternative to satisfy money demand.  For now, it is a small cap stock with high volatility.  It's good for traders but not for money demanders.

Besides, short term rates have almost always offered a negative real yield, yet no one seeks to hold JPY though many periodically borrow in other denominations for better nominal yields.

BTC must correct its fundamental price instability problem first.

Volatility can be easily dealt with lower leverage/less exposure, never a problem for investors, lower volatility means lower return, not an interesting thing

Negative interest for currency means banks push others to borrow money, however, they borrow money to only buy bonds, resulted in negative interest for the bonds. It seems there is no real meaningful investment that money can go nowadays, due to saturated production and demand
I think only the speculators fancy the volatility and can benefit from it. However,  the new cryptocurrency just born no more than 5 years, BTC probably hasn't yet been recognized as legit investing tool by the most investors. So I still doubt that Bitcoin will boom from the negative interest rate. The money will be seeking some other reliable investment instruments.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Most Innovative Coins on: March 04, 2015, 08:31:10 AM
There are many out there.
Ripple: offer instant international money transfer
Bitshare: offer the concept of decentralized organization
NXT: decentralized exchange, MS system, MGW etc
1580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [Poll] Will you dig your free CLAMS? on: March 04, 2015, 08:19:35 AM
It seems many users in this forum are talking about digging free clams! I am really interested at it, just downloaded the wallet and try it out.
