1561  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2019 Cricket World Cup - Discussion & Analysis on: April 20, 2019, 09:55:13 PM
Tahir did the right thing by migrating to South Africa, at a time when South Africa was losing so many of its native-born players to teams such as England and New Zealand. Had he remained in Pakistan, then most probably he would have never got the recognition and fame.
That can be said about Usman Khawaja too, if they were in Pakistan i really do not think so they would have got to the national team let alone fame and recognition, they made the right choice at the right time and so is the reason they are performing for the team they represent and they are doing that really well. I am not happy with the Indian selection omitting players like Pant who will strike the ball really well and Ambati Rayudu who averages 47.
1562  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: John "fucking" McAfee: I will reveal Satoshi on: April 20, 2019, 09:40:59 PM
I don't think John mcAffe has any more creditability than the imposter Craig wright. Though there could be some people who personally knows satoshi nakamoto like theymos or cobra or some early Bitcoin developers but I highly doubtful satoshi would be in contact with someone like McAfee.
If anyone was aware of the real identity of satoshi, it will not be a big secret by now and the identity would have being exposed a long time back, i am certain that no one knows the real identity of the person behind all this and so is the reason everyone is excited to know when these sort of topics pop up and i will not believe anyone coming out right now without proving that he has the access to the genesis block chain.
1563  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin $10k Before June, Possible? on: April 20, 2019, 09:22:01 PM
It's truly hard to predict how the market moves. Everyone is saying we are up and I saw a recent news that Bitcoin is overbought, which could inadvertently turn to another market decline. Though some pundits have it that Bitcoin has bottomed out.
Can bitcoin reach $10k before June? I'm sure if it manages a rally to that new 2019 high, we could sustain it to the old ATH. If not people may despair again. What are your thoughts?
Don't think I can stand another pull back.  Sad
It is an impossible task to put a time bound on when and what the market will do at a particular time, the market looks like recovering from the bear market which was ruling over a year but that cannot give any indication that the market is moving higher and cross certain boundaries in a short period of time, you might even see a pull back before any market rally and hence never set a big target for the short term.
1564  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Switzerland truly the best place for a crypto project? on: April 20, 2019, 08:56:59 PM
I believe we would have a lot of other places were users enjoy the use of bitcoin and blockchain technology without any interference from any government agency, I think in no time, we are going to still have much more adoption this way because there is a crisis coming to the economy of so many countries of the world, and the only saving grace at that time would be crypto, this is why a lot of persons are already buying as much bitcoin as they can purchase.
I am not sure whether your idea about having a free market will be fulfilled as more governments around the world are trying to come up with rules and regulations to have a foot hold on the market situation and trying to extract money from the investors as much as they can, government will interference in a space where money is involved and there is nothing that can be done, if there is an financial crises i am not sure how people will trust a volatile market to invest, only time can prove this theory right.
1565  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: April 20, 2019, 08:04:14 PM
I don't have much faith in Indian batsmen other than Kohli. Only Kohli has the ability to perform well outside the South Asian region. As usual, the Indian batting will be completely dependent on him. Others like KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma are extremely inconsistent. Regarding the bowling, both Bumra and Shami has the capability to perform well this time.
It is no doubt that the batting is solely dependent on Kohli to perform all the time and the main players in the team who could perform consistently with the bat are Kohli and Dhoni, the rest of the team members lack consistency and the bowling unit is a good one with Bumrah and Shami leading the bowling with two spinners and i am not sure whether they will be playing both the spinners in English conditions, it all depends upon the pitch condition i guess.
1566  Local / India / Re: How Indian Govt. cheated the whole nation (NewsFlash) on: April 15, 2019, 05:16:03 AM
When the K. Kamaraj faction was kicked out; politics, bureaucracy and whole Indian polity was left open to the scourge of sycophancy and corruption. Indian bureaucrats in Pre-Independence and up unitl Nehru era used to be men of honor with a firm belief in the Indian identity and the need to take all people together for socio-economic reform.
Since you blamed that only the post Nehru era is opportunistic i would like to mention why the split happened between Pakistan and India, Jinnah was a prominent leader during the pre independence era and he was the top leaders in INC and we all know what happened when Jinnah was arrested by the British, there was an entire shift in politics with religious polarization being the topic on who will head the movement forward and those factions led to the split. If not for the opportunistic shift in power in the name of religious polarization there is no way that would happen in my opinion.

PS: I am not into any political affiliation but stated what i read from historical data which is available.

1567  Local / India / Re: Impact of Loksabha election on bitcoin price on: April 14, 2019, 10:02:19 PM
There is nothing will affect the Bitcoin price in India because of the Loksabha election. This because Bitcoin is the global currency and the price movement will occur as per the market demand and supply. If, India has the potential of largest user of the Bitcoin then it may impact on the price a little.
It might be a global market, but if you look at the historical price of bitcoin in Indian markets before the RBI regulation, the price in the market was much higher than the global market, if a new government is elected and if there is a regulation where the exchanges can deal with the baking industry, it will make a major change in price in the Indian market.

1573  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency companies still can’t open bank accounts on: March 07, 2019, 07:21:00 PM
Despite the increasing legitimate cryptocurrency uses, its continued association with illicit activities and anti-money laundering compliance costs makes banking for cryptocurrency companies hard.
It is strange to see these sort of restrictions even though the crypto market complies with strict know your customer policies and i am not sure why they could not take that as face value when it comes to dealing with them directly and that too from countries that are crypto friendly, may be it is a combined attack from the banking sector to stifle the market so that their long term business policies will not be effected by restricting the crypto market.
1574  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin can less the unemployment rate? on: March 07, 2019, 05:18:28 PM
Do you believe that the adoption of bitcoin in every country can less the unemployment rate? As what I have observed most of the countries right now are accepting bitcoin as a payment method. Is there a possibility that crypto will be legalized and become as a legal job also?
The market creates new job opportunities and hence it will help people with job but you need to be a specialist to become a top earner in any field but with every new market you will get new opportunities and majority of the countries accepted the new market, only developing countries have a problem understanding the market and it will undermine their opportunity for the new market.
1575  Economy / Speculation / Re: RIP Bull Market on: March 07, 2019, 04:01:42 PM
Looks like it all ended in one trade.
You might see the trend reversal every now and then and it is not a new scene in this market and that will continue to happen until you see some changes in the market in both direction, a change in the market situation of five hundred dollars does not mean that the market is on a bull ride, it is just a sharp rise and the market reversed as soon as it hit the resistance. A bull run means it will break every resistance that is in front of them until it reaches exhaustion.
1576  Economy / Economics / Re: is there any economic effect for the country or bitcoin users on: March 06, 2019, 09:05:00 PM
now there are some countries that began to issue a ban on the use of bitcoin, is there any influence on the country and of course its users in economic value?
If there is a blatant ban on the use of bitcoin people who are interested in trading in bitcoin will find a way to overcome the ban ,no government can completely ban the use of bitcoin or its transactions, either they have to come up with a regulation to restrict any fraud being conducted using the platform and they should encourage strict know your customer policy so that nothing is left unturned rather than putting a restricting the freedom of any investor.
1577  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has changed? Is it moving forward? on: March 06, 2019, 08:28:04 PM
There is no problem about the speed of transaction or the confirmation period whenever you send bitcoin to anyone.

It depends on how much your fee does.
Since he said he was a long time user and took a break, may be because of the market was not moving much at that time but he would have being back when the price started moving higher and touched the all time valuation, but instead he is back when the market is still struggling to make a move in either directions, the market has changed a lot since with speculative market and other factors and since he left before the fees and transaction speed issues there is nothing much to tell. The only thing that changed is that the price moved higher from what he left and there are a couple of forks to the bitcoin network which stands out and nothing else.
1578  Economy / Economics / Re: Another good news for cryptocurrency in the Philippines on: March 06, 2019, 08:12:30 PM
at first I also thought that the more countries that could accept bitcoin then it would affect the price of crypto currencies in general, but in reality it did not happen. the price is falling when there is a lot of good news about bitcoin.
The price of bitcoin does not depend upon how many countries accepted bitcoin, it solely depends upon the investors who are investing in it, every market will rise and fall according to the investors and that does not mean mean that it will improve if a country accepts bitcoin as a payment system, the price will improve gradually and when the market rises you will see many technical analysis on why the market improved but it is hard to know before hand.
1579  Economy / Economics / Re: Volkswagen Bets $50 Billion on Electric Future but Tesla Isn’t Sweating on: March 06, 2019, 05:23:52 PM
As cities all over the world look at ways to combat rising pollution levels, giant German automaker Volkswagen goes all in on electric as a transitional period of necessary change comes to the car industry.
The Future is Electric
There is no doubt that the future lies in renewable energy and less pollution will be the motto for the future and the oil industry will dry down in the future and the future lies in electric cars when it comes to automobiles as the pollution is a major concern everywhere and if that continues like this, we would be purchasing oxygen in the future like we purchase fresh water now a days. Telsa bought a revolution when it comes to electric cars and it is good to see competition as it is good for the end user.
1580  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What has changed? Is it moving forward? on: March 01, 2019, 02:16:44 AM
I have been in cryptocurrency since 2014 but last 3 years I took a break from it. I had high hopes how it can change the financial world.

I would like to get back into it but first I would like to find out what is cryptocurrency today.
You are stating that you are in the bitcoin market for a long time and are you telling that you missed out on the rally in 2017 since you said you are coming back after a few years and that means you were in a comma to miss the big rally that everyone witnessed. The market is in the same situation where you left but with a much bigger valuation and the market might rise again in a couple of years.
