1561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Risk points of investing in cryptocurrency. on: September 06, 2018, 11:12:31 PM
As a newbie, I should know the risk point of investment in cryptocurrency. Could you please share your views so that I can gather some knowledge about the risk factors??
Thanks in advance.

The main risk is the market volatility, particularly the market downtrend. At this moment, downfall movement is really observable in the market value of the cryptos. This simply serves a risk for the  investors because every downfall on the market woupd be highly reflected on their profit.
1562  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What keys point you look in ICOs before investing or supporting. on: August 31, 2018, 11:45:15 PM
We all know 80/100 ICOs turned out to be scam before they reach on the exchange or before their first birthday. You can check it on list of dead coins Coinopys & deadcoins. ICOs picked the market in 2017, since than till today also lot of new ICOs are collecting huge amount of money from investors. Some ICOs have good intention to solve the problems presently crypto industry are facing and some ICOs brings new technology to the cryptoworlds. But on the other hand some ICOs are being launched In the market to scam peoples with their well design fake website, team members, roadmap and whitepaper by mentioning unofficially name of big exchanges.
Now the main thing is still ICOs are collecting huge amounts of funds during their token sale, What are the key points do you guys look before investing or supporting ICOs. Lot of community members will have different different opinions. Let's share your opinions and knowledge.
Well personally, I do first check the platform that the project itself is promoting. And also, how popular that project is  The popularity has a huge contribution on the project's success. Popularity is next to the demand which happens to determine the price of the tokens upon being listed in the market. those that will have a high demand re those that would be worthy of investing.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Rewarding signature campaign, are you satisfied? on: August 31, 2018, 11:30:10 PM
Are you participating in a signature campaign? You observe that there is a condition that you have to meet.

(a) You must make 15 constructive posts per week. (b) You must make 10 constructive posts per week! as it may apply. I am not against this condition but the next one is what I am concerned with.

If you don't reach 10/15 (as the case may be) posts before the end date, you will not receive any stake for the current week.

My question is, what happens to someone who makes 9 posts in case (a), and 13 posts in case (b)? Is it fair to deny anyone who has made more than 75% post for the week? Could there be a somewhat reward for such people?

Please share your thoughts. What will be the best way to reward signature campaign?
There's nothing wrong with the current system of rewarding in signature campaign. If one fails to accomplish the number of posts required to be eligible with the stakes on that week, that's his fault. As bounty participants we should do our task if we are wanting to earn rewards at the end of the campaign.
1564  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How are bounty token distributed on: August 31, 2018, 10:52:46 PM
Hello guys,  it will be my pleasure to learn something very important to me from my senior colleagues that are bounty mangers. I want to know how bounty tokens are being distributed. I did a signature campaign, and I saw $450,000. For that campaign and on the list we are not up to 500 participants. Will that $450,000 be shared among the 500 participants or token worth $450,000 or what?  Please give me an explanation, I want to learn. Thanks.
Bounty tokens are being sent into the wallet provided upon regirtration. When it comes on the token llocation, there's an alloted part for each campaign that will be divided based from the team and to the number of prticioants. Surely, you won't have the same reward becauae there are differences on the weekly staking
1565  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are the factors that drive up the price of tokens? on: August 31, 2018, 10:34:17 PM
In my opinion factors namely demand, volume and popularity are what making the price of a token to be high. The logic behind this ,is that if a token would be popular, the demand will increase, it would make the investors interested on investing to that token resulting for the price to increase as well as volume.

1567  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think this year will be bad year for ICOS? on: August 30, 2018, 11:30:03 PM
It seems to be  a bad year for ICO. ICO investment became more risky because of the continuous trend in the market particularly with the dipping of the coins. Most of the time, the market vlue of ICO tokens re falling below ICO price upon listed in different exchngers which simply says that profit loss happens a lot this year for ICO investment.
1568  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How do you track what happens in Crypto industry daily? on: August 30, 2018, 11:06:34 PM
It is something that is very crucial to discuss, as there are far too many people who have no proper way with how they trade, which eventually leads to MAJOR problem and losses. So, how exactly do you track the daily happening in this enormous Cryptocurrency industry?

I don’t keep too many options instead I focus on pretty straightforward site. Right now, I keep entire track of all the happenings in the Crypto industry through AsiaCryptoToday, it is a pretty cool way to get non-stop news and updates. Which one do you follow?
There are crypto websites but in order to not make things more complicated, simply browse on this forum because threads will already show what's new with the market. Everything can be found in this forum including the latest updates in the market for people to not be dumb on mking their actions toward their coins.
1569  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Ethereum market value reach $11,000 before end of December this year? on: August 30, 2018, 10:47:02 PM
Base on the experts speculation recently that Bitcoin will reach  $50,000 before end of December this year, 2018 and as you guys will agree with me that increase in the market value of Bitcoin will lead to increase in the market value of Ethereum. Do you think ethereum will grow up to $11,000 before end of December this year. In addition to the speculation, i strongly believe that encouraging new investors will go a long way to actualize the growth up to the said amount. Do you believe so?
Surely, that's impossible to happen. The market value of ethereum at this moment is below 500usd which is way far from the said target market value and it would be impossible for the market to have an increase as that much within a short period of time knowing that there are only few months remaining.
1570  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New ICOs and how to choose a proper one? on: August 30, 2018, 10:24:24 PM
Every ICO has potential to be a huge one. But at times like this, ICOs are not that profitable because the market is highly affected by the downtrend. The market value of the newly listed tokens are all falling below the ICO price which is what scares an ICO investor. Maybe this is just not the right time for ICOs.
1571  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Invest in altcoins today or maybe later? on: August 16, 2018, 11:53:28 PM
Investing now would be a risky move becayse green marks cannot still be seen and recovery on the majority of the market have not taken place yet. The best time to invest I think, is when the market starts to continuously increase. for now be patient and wait for that day to come.
1572  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoins are dying on: August 16, 2018, 11:09:32 PM
what do you think about altcoin,do you think is the time to buy? am afraid because all my money is heading to zero.. Angry Angry
The market fell at the start of this year and is still falling up to the present. It is not only altcoin which is experiencing difficulties nowadays because most of the cryptos are. Most of the investors are really losing their money partially. But if patience would be a priority nothing will be a loss because dumps are surely temporary.
1573  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: MARKET IS RED AGAIN on: August 16, 2018, 10:45:29 PM
May be this year is the worst year for the crypto. market is very uncertain and no one knows the reason All we have is just a "hope" do you really believe that crypto will revive again.. i am losing hope now
I agree. The majority of the market became more unpredictable than before. Pumps would take place in a short period of time and in a sudden, dumps will take over. Waiting is the only thing that we should do in order to avoid making situations more complicatedbparticularly with profit loss from token holdings.
1574  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Hunters Dump Always? on: August 16, 2018, 09:48:32 PM
Do all bounty hunters dump Cryptos after they get paid?

I believe this is not a fair assessment as a lot has to do with the crypto project itself.

Its a matter of perspective really, not all bounty hunters have the same experience or motive, some people just need an opportunity to get crypto for projects that are very difficult to get in the token sales, Example is Ncash tokens of Nucleus.Vision the project has a 1 million USD budget and it is still above ICO price even in the bear market.

Additionally some projects treat bought hunters badly which will not encourage them to stick around for much longer after they get their tokens.

I believe tokens or coins getting dumped by bounty hunters depends a lot on the project itself.
Most of the time, bounty hunters are the ones who sell their token immediately after it is listed on exchnagers no matter what the market value is whether it is high or not, simoly because they do not invested so they won't lose money after all by doing such thing. But still some hunters are holding with a hope of bigger profit.
1575  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Where can I learn trading ? on: August 15, 2018, 04:47:17 PM
Hello forumites,

I am interested in learning the rudiments of cryptocurrency trading and that led me here. But I discovered that here is just for airing opinions on coins and bounties ( permit me if I'm wrong) and most importantly I prefer visual materials to PDF.

Please suggest where I can get videos tutorial online and other useful sites.
Thanks in anticipation of your suggestions.
Trading is a bit complicated especially with the new ones in cryptoindustry. But through observation, anything could be learned. Also, there are video tutorials about how trading works. 1576  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still HODL? on: August 15, 2018, 02:54:33 PM
Right now is a tough time for anybody holding tokens. The HODL strategies put into effect a mere 3 months ago have cost portfolios a huge % loss in value...
I myself have witnessed thousands upon thousands in value destruction. Hrmmm, but what to do now?

Although I have watched, slowly and painfully, tokens descend in value equivalent to a brand new Cadillac down to a value where I cant even sell them for a used 1980s Ford where the bumper falls off...

Instead, I opted to HODL… But the question remains...
Should one effectively Sell-Out and take that broke down ford valuation now?
OR.
Does one still HODL and dream of Lambos full of Women and cocaine?

That's the best thing to do at times like this which is to hold and be patient with what is happening in the market. From the start of this year, things went unexpected unlike last year whereas the market value of the cryptos are mostly at their peak. Profit will be completely lost if one would choose to sell at this point.
1577  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on the fall of the market. on: August 14, 2018, 11:00:18 PM
I recently entered the topic of crypto currency and now is not a very good time for earnings. Since bitcoin is falling. Please tell me how you can make money on the fall of the market.
Invest during dips because once the market starts to rise, profit would be earned that I think, is practicality.Ofcourse during market downfalls, the market value of most cryptos are low, making cryptos more convenient to invest. But people should be awared about the risk that not all the time, the market value will rise and also not all cryptos are having market price increase
1578  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's the best buy during this altcoin dip? on: August 14, 2018, 10:38:46 PM
Nearly all of my altcoin portfolio is in the red and in rapid decline right now which although is disheartening to see also opens up the market for some great buying opportunities. Tron for example is at 284sats as of the time of writing this which is a great buy, i just picked up some more. i also have my eye on KCS (kucoin shares) which has dipped right down almost to levels this time last year. What are you buying during this dip and which coins do you think have fallen extremely low and will rebound later on making them great buys right now?
In my opinion, the best crypto to buy atimes like this are those which are already years listed in the market because for sure, their market value have before experienced worse so the tendency is that, it would have a higher chance to recover at this situation than those which are only young in the market.
1579  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Where do you read about crypto news? on: August 10, 2018, 01:57:22 PM
Keeping up with the market definitely helps when investing into altcoins or cryptocurrencies. I looked through many publications and personally I read these ones:

1) Cointelegraph
2) Hacked.com
3) CryptoSlate
4) BitcoinNews
5) CCN
6) Coinspeaker.

Of course, also Twitter and Telegram. What do you guys think? Any recommendations? Smiley
When it comes on general informations and updates about crypto market, I do suggest coindesk. But also, this forum would already provide the latest informations in the market such as new projects as well as issues regarding with cryptos in different countries. Just check different threads in this forum to find out what's new.
1580  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know if Bounty is scam? on: August 09, 2018, 11:54:56 PM
How do you know if it is a scam? Because I have encountered a bounty that let me finish all the translations first and didn't respond to me after I have passed it. I hope bounties will not be like this anymore because they demand and we did our part but they didn't do theirs. I hope you could answer my question.
In fact, we cannot determine whether a project is scam at first glance. Usually, a project will be determines as a scam at the end of its campaign perioed when the team behind it, are not responding anymore to the bounty managers. And the sad truth is that, as bounty hunters, we cannot do anything about it but to accept that such uncertainty is always possible to happen.
