1581  Economy / Gambling / Re: Recommendations for Real Cryptocurrency Casinos on: January 07, 2023, 11:12:27 PM
To be clear are you looking for on-chain games right?

Actually, I'm not just interested in on-chain games, although those do fit the description. I'm interested in casinos that allow me to deposit and withdraw using cryptocurrency (such as BTC) without converting it to fiat currency. In other words, I want to be able to keep my entire bankroll in BTC (or other supported cryptocurrencies) while using the casino. Thanks for the recommendations, anyway.

You can find an overview of signature campaigns here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=615953.0

It seems to me that you did not read or understand my post. That's not what I'm looking for.

What do you mean by online crypto casinos that can be directly connected to crypto wallets like wallets without having to make deposits and save your money in the casino wallet first.
If that's what you mean, I don't think any online casino can directly link to a separate crypto wallet nor have I ever come across one like that.

These would be Web3 casinos that are based on blockchain technology and digital tokens? No, that's not what I meant.

Wouldn't the list you want include nearly every casino that has an announcement thread in this section?
<...>

I think those are good suggestions. I'll check them out. But I disagree with "nearly every casino". A number of casinos I've looked at so far actually convert BTC to fiat and vice versa.
1582  Economy / Gambling / Recommendations for Real Cryptocurrency Casinos on: January 07, 2023, 03:36:23 PM
Hello everyone,

I am looking for a list of real cryptocurrency casinos. (My search through the forum posts from the last couple of years didn't yield any results for such a list.) By "real" crypto casinos, I mean online casinos that operate exclusively using bitcoin (and other cryptocurrencies), rather than just allowing players to make deposits and withdrawals using cryptocurrencies. Does anyone have any recommendations or know of any good ones to check out?

I have a few that I play regularly that I don't want to mention here, but I'm always on the lookout for new options that are worth exploring. Unfortunately, it seems like most casinos require registration before you can take a look around inside.

Thanks in advance for your help!

BTW does FUN have to be locked to get bonuses or not have to be locked

Nope, FUN tokens don't need to be locked to get benefits. To quote from the freebitco.in website:

Quote
All you need to do is buy FUN tokens and hold them in your FreeBitco.in account to get the benefits. The longer you hold the tokens, the greater the benefits will be!

But if you decide to lock the tokens, you will also have the opportunity to earn up to 25% annual interest on them. However, you will not lose any of the benefits that come with Premium Membership!
1584  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What are the motives that drive you to gamble? on: January 07, 2023, 02:08:11 PM
I even can`t understand how is it - to be addicted. It is the same as to watch football match of your favorite team. You can cry, you can be impressed or disappointed but tomorrow you go to the work and don`t think that you have to visit next match anyway. I just relax and pay for it. But not all money i have - just as i plan.

I read somewhere that gambling addiction is when someone feels like they cannot stop themselves from gambling, even when they know it is causing problems for themselves and those around them. It is a type of mental health issue where a person has trouble controlling their impulses. I think that people who have this addiction may feel a rush of pleasure when they gamble, and they may continue to gamble despite the negative consequences it is having on their lives. They might also feel anxious or depressed when they aren't gambling, and they might go to great lengths to get money for gambling. When they feel better while they are gambling, they may continue to do it even though their lives are falling apart because of it.

Also users must be sure that their personal data are kept in a safe place and nobody have access to them.

Yes. It is important for users to protect their personal information and keep it secure. However, when a user provides their personal information to a casino or other platform in order to comply with "know your customer" (KYC) requirements, it is no longer entirely within their control to keep this information secure. This is because the platform or casino will now have access to this information and is responsible for protecting it.

Therefore, protecting your personal information is crucial, especially when sharing it with third parties like casinos or other platforms that require KYC verification. When you share your full name, address, or financial information, you're essentially opening the door to potential identity theft or fraud. So be smart and keep that info to yourself unless absolutely necessary!

Sent you a pm for refund.

Hi there! I was interested in potentially participating in the review campaign, but I wanted to check if there are still openings available.

I took a quick look at the gaming site, but I have to admit that I'm still not completely familiar with this type of game – it seems like a new concept to me. The instructions on the site are somewhat limited, so I'm planning to spend some time studying all the details and reading through the comments of other members in this thread before I make a decision about testing out the game. Is it still possible to join the review campaign at this point, or are all the spots already filled?
1587  Economy / Gambling / Re: Neodice.com | Futuristic Dice Platform 🎲 on: January 06, 2023, 11:28:12 PM
Hello. for all users! I think that iv4n account was first blocked, then reopened because the support of neodice.com decided to pay only to clients that are beneficial to them, and so that there is no criticism on the forum. I created only one account Yrebaperty on this neodice.com. I did all nodeposit terms and conditions and when I made withdrawal my accound was blocked. So please open my account username - Yrebaperty.

It is not appropriate to make accusations or assumptions about the actions of a company or website without evidence. If you have concerns about your account, it would be best to contact the support team of Neodice directly to address any issues you may be experiencing. It is always best to try to resolve any issues or concerns through official channels and through direct communication with the company in question.

Yes I see that Hoss, sorry again for messing about.

( Aware i have posted 50 posts!...but i have learnt a bit thanks to forum members. Ok, so i made a silly error with the 2 wallets..but bare in mind i didnt want bitcoin in first place so all very very annoying. )

but - proved wrong i guess..the casino..was telling me the truth ( thereabouts )..see first if i can get other monies.

OK - I have requsted a further final withdrawal.

SO...i am very happy right now!...play a few more slots, might win a little more. I take it, i can withdraw what i want onto an 'address' ( im getting way ahead of myself..its Friday and i have bitcoin!! ).

I'm glad it all worked out for you in the end. Congratulations on your first bitcoin payment, by the way!

Can we finally find out which casino it was? (I assume that there is no reason to hide that information anymore, and it could help other forum members who may find themselves in a similar situation as you.)

I will bug the forum re how i can peer to peer and fiat ( thats a car right? ) ...once i get the next withdrawal then.

Better to withdraw to cash..smaller amounts?   only talking few hundred unless lucky on the slots of course! feel lucky now!!

Depends on your perspective. For some people, a few hundred dollars might not seem like a lot of money. However, it's generally a good idea to exchange a smaller amount first to test the waters before exchanging a larger sum. This can help ensure that everything goes smoothly.

I was once an addict before

Well, it's good to hear that you've overcome that, but how do you know if you're still at risk for falling back into old habits or if you may be in danger of developing a gambling addiction again in the future? As they say, old habits die hard.  Wink

Having the wof rewards pile up is literally what we talked here for months, and some people like it because if you get like 100+ of them all together then it makes sense to spin them all at the same time and see what you could win, at least it would combine to a great total like that, instead of doing it daily and getting a small amount, you get like weeks and weeks of wheels in a single day, and takes no more than an hour that way neither.

Hence, that should be proof enough that you could actually do something like that, not a bad idea at all and can be done. And yes the daily you are given for free is 48 hours, but after a certain while when you collect so much, you start to ignore that 48 hour expiring one.

I see what you're saying. It's kind of like saving up your allowance to buy that really cool toy you've had your eye on, instead of spending it on smaller things as you get it. That way, you can potentially get a bigger reward all at once.  Cheesy
It's definitely a different approach to enjoying the WOF rewards, and there's no right or wrong way to do it. Everyone has their own preference!

I am delighted with Neodice, because I clearly see how much effort these guys put in. Yes, some things they do not do as well as they would like, because they lack experience, but I think that this will change. I also told the Neodice team to contact me with any questions (or efialtis) as I listed his name as a competent person in gambling related matters.

OK, that's actually great to hear. In my opinion, Neodice is a very promising company that has a great team and are constantly improving their services. I am happy that they have chosen you as their partner. I know that you are a very respectable member, so I am sure that you will be able to help them in this matter.

also this topic is like over a year now.

Then why are you responding to a question that was asked more than a year ago and to a member who hasn't been active for an extended period of time?
1593  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: age 47 is it too late or not to invest in bitcoin.? on: January 05, 2023, 06:06:18 PM
No matter your age, it's never too late to consider investing in bitcoin or any other financial asset. Remember, however, that there are risks involved with any type of investment. If you don't understand the ins and outs of bitcoin, it's best to leave this decision to someone who does. The good news is that there are plenty of ways for you to learn more, and if you are buying bitcoin as an investment, take the time to understand its potential and risks.

The first thing you should do is research. Learn about bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies, find out what makes them valuable and how they're created. You can also look into other types of investments that have similar characteristics to bitcoin. For example, gold, silver and real estate are all considered safe-haven assets because they tend to retain their value even in times of economic uncertainty (although the price fluctuates).

Sensing ahead hear and expecting the ol' familar ala Mastercard tech.difficulties scenerio.  IF 'the payment provider? required more confirmation'...IS there anything they need from me? I am well aware, this is all guff, delay technique etc etc...BUT...to call their bluff so to speak...IF monies never received ( and heck i could be proved wrong here! )  due to 'confirmation of the transaction'.  Is there anything i can 'prove' . I only have the Electon wallet..thats it, setup in minutes...no proof or ID. etc   Just again curious...whilst I wait.

All very annoying, fustrating but determined to see it through.

It is not your responsibility to prove anything to them. Instead, they should provide proof to you that they sent the payment. You can check the status of the transaction and view all relevant details, such as the amount, sender and recipient addresses, and transaction fees, by looking up the transaction ID. This will allow you to confirm whether the transaction has been successfully processed or not. But you can't do that if you don't have a transaction ID.

By the way, it's Electrum wallet, not Electon. Sometimes correct terminology is very important to avoid confusion.

I thought these bonuses were supposed to lure in new players, but I have a sneaking suspicion it's going to blow up in their faces.
Yeah! Locking accounts is probably their way of avoiding the constant stream of inquiries from users about their pending withdrawals. Looks like the shit will hit the fan pretty early in this one!
1596  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Blackmail on: January 03, 2023, 09:17:14 PM
If I'm being blackmailed by somebody who asks me to buy bitcoin and pay it to their account why can I not report this to bitcoin?

You can report this type of situation to the authorities, like the police, or to organizations that can provide assistance, such as the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) in the United States. However, it is not possible to report this directly to Bitcoin, as Bitcoin is a decentralized network and does not have a central authority or organization that can receive reports or take action on such matters.

Since you received the blackmail threat by email, why not report it to your email provider, or your Internet provider?
1597  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCKCHAIN account- Newbie - how to get one? on: January 03, 2023, 08:31:17 PM
EDIT - I re-read your replies - OK - i understand now about expires..ok, if your saying no need to worry about that, then i wont.

It is only related to your payment request that you created (consider it something like a payment order). While payment requests are not strictly required in Bitcoin transactions, they can make the process simpler by providing a recipient with all the necessary information for payment in a single request.

I believe that some members have previously mentioned that you can obtain your receiving BTC address from the list in the Addresses tab, without the need to create a payment request.

the latest reply below,  ( i asked why the wait );

"...Since the funds were sent to the payment provide for the further transaction, it may take very fast to reach your btc wallet, but only after it will be sent on it by the providers.  .."

yep, these are the people im dealing with!!!

This is exactly why I said that the entire process appears suspicious. Please note that this has nothing to do with Bitcoin transactions. If the payment had been made and the transaction completed, you would already see the BTC in your wallet.
1598  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCKCHAIN account- Newbie - how to get one? on: January 03, 2023, 07:54:19 PM
what do you think?

and...my concern that the 'address' expires in 4days.

I've edited my previous reply. Based on my understanding of the situation, it seems that the only option available is to wait.
There's no need to worry about your addresses expiring. They remain valid indefinitely.

Although, I agree with o_e_l_e_o, the whole situation sounds suspicious. When will we find out which casino it is?
1599  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BLOCKCHAIN account- Newbie - how to get one? on: January 03, 2023, 07:20:59 PM
update -well the casino states 'accepted' my withdrawal and money deducted from my casino account. couple hundred.

Could you take a screenshot of the specified screen, while censoring any sensitive data to protect privacy?

This was earlier this morning. Just checked my Electrum wallet..and..nothing in there.  Does it appear in a specific place?  do i click on something?  i dont want to 'search' in the wallet too much as i dont know what im doing and not wanting to 'delete' anything.

You can view all transactions into and out of your wallet in the History tab.

it does say, 'update to Electrum 4.3.3 is avaiable?   Shall i click the update?

As a general practice, it is advisable to keep your software up-to-date. However, in this specific case, updating the software wouldn't make a difference.

SO - i was led to believe, and yourself did say as well, that really this should come through instantly really.

Transactions on the bitcoin network are typically visible immediately upon being initiated, and most are subsequently confirmed within a few minutes to a few hours. The confirmation time can vary depending on the current state of the network and the transaction fee amount.

SO..thoughts?

It's difficult to provide an opinion without knowing which casino you're referring to and how they handle payouts, so it would be helpful if you could share a link to their terms of service.

My 1 concern is....that address expires now in '4days'....  so.....what does that mean?

Your addresses never expire and can be used to receive payments indefinitely.
1600  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is playing national lottery smart or waste of time? on: January 02, 2023, 10:56:59 PM
Well, deciding whether or not to play the lottery comes down to how you define "smart". If your goal is to become a millionaire overnight with minimal effort, then playing the lottery might not be the most effective strategy. But if you're looking for a little bit of harmless fun and the chance to dream big, then go for it! Just keep in mind that the odds of winning the jackpot are pretty slim, so don't bet the farm on it. While many people say that the lottery is a waste of money, others tell you that hundreds of millions of dollars are up for grabs each and every day. It's all about knowing why you're doing things, rather than just following them blindly because someone else said to do them. As for me, I will be playing at least a few dollars when I can spare it from my other hobbies, because I believe that it's harmless fun and helps jog my dreams a little bit.
