1582  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Easy way to get bitcoins deposited with USD and US citizen? on: December 11, 2013, 04:04:34 AM
Paypal is easily reversible so it is not a method of buying or selling bitcoins. Credit cards are also easily reversible so that is not a good method of buying or selling bitcoins.

Best way is wire transfer on a exchange or connect a bank account to use coinbase.
1583  Bitcoin / Press / Re: 2013-12-10 KryptoKit Lets You Pay In Bitcoin Instantly On Almost Any Webpage on: December 11, 2013, 12:48:05 AM
Can someone point me to the source code? I'm currently testing it, looks good but, what's at the back-end of this kind of wallet? How it interacts with the blockchain?

There is no official github, or place for the source code, but if you download the file from the google web store, then just append .zip to it, and open it using a zip opener it should show you all the source code.
1584  Other / Meta / Re: [Pool] DONATE THE INCOMES ! on: December 11, 2013, 12:05:52 AM
I just want to say admins are making BITCOIN wrongly with advertisment.
  • Forum don't is updated.
  • Forum don't is secure (attacked 2 times in less that 2 months).
  • Forum is FREE.
We are paying for advertisement that don't improve the forum, we are making admins more rich every month!

I just want to say don't sell advertisement.
Or if you want to sell advertisement: DONATE THE INCOME TO BITCOIN FOUNDATION or CHARITY and put the address public for see the transactions !!!

First off I am pretty sure Theymos isn't a BTC foundation supporter. Also the foundation promotes and agrees with Mike Hern's red listing coins.

Now Theymos has announce he is talking to a firm about a new forum, and the forum has a lot of money so it can get a really good software. Also the hosting is free, it is a dedicated server that Private Internet Access donated to this forum.

So what pool operators should be doing is putting money into exchanges so we can have higher liquidity remember mining is to distribute coins fairly and unbias, so we need that money to trickle down into the economy.

There have been a few Bitcoin wallets available for Chrome and other browsers but how about one that searches for Bitcoin addresses on the pages you visit and allows for one-click payment from your BTC stash? KryptoKit, launched today at the Inside Bitcoin conference in Las Vegas, lets you do just that.

First, KryptoKit allows you to create a Bitcoin wallet that you can use to store your BTC using your browser. It is ostensibly secure – you can set a password that you must enter before the wallet can send out any Bitcoins. It also lets you backup your wallet to a file.

This is actually really cool to just play with, I haven't put any bitcoins into it cause I am still looking at the source just to be cautious. But it detects every address on a page, and I can see it making tipping real easily.

Also it has a GPG message features, I guess you cause use it to send messages to other people but I haven't tried it.
1586  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Number of nodes on: December 10, 2013, 08:01:49 PM
Depends who was running those nodes, the protocol can survive on more than 1 node. But would you trust only 3 people to run those nodes? Probably not.
1587  Economy / Goods / Is there a skate shop that accepts Bitcoins yet? on: December 10, 2013, 08:38:22 AM

1588  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: He's back! on: December 10, 2013, 03:25:57 AM
I would love to debate this guy about bitcoins... If anyone can point him to this post.

I would love to have a 1 on 1 google hangout and I will gladly explain to him about bitcoins.
1589  Other / Meta / Re: Can we get a poker sub-forum in gambling... on: December 09, 2013, 03:03:30 AM
What's peoples favorite poker bitcoin site? I used to go crazy on full tilt before it got shut down and I just cannot get back into the game on free to play sites, the mentality of those involved is just too casual and it ruins the game and atmosphere or me. I'd love to start playing for something of value again.

Sealswithclubs.eu has the most players by a large margin, but I am currently building a site so you probably want to be on the look out for that Wink
1590  Other / Meta / Re: Can we get a poker sub-forum in gambling... on: December 08, 2013, 09:27:50 PM
there are already enough sub-forums... poker belongs into general gambling

Are you saying in general? Or in the gambling forum because there is only one sub forum. Right now 2 for and 1 against, maybe some more people can weigh in? Should I post it to the gambling thread incase they don't read the meta forum?
1591  Other / Meta / Can we get a poker sub-forum in gambling... on: December 07, 2013, 10:16:54 PM
I think poker should have it own sub-forum. It is a growing culture in bitcoin and could use it is own sub-forum for all the new sites.
1592  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: December 07, 2013, 07:11:40 PM
My request would be to update the fees logic to what's being implemented in Qt/d 0.8.6. It's in release candidate stage right now, but I expect it will be fully released before 0.91.

I didn't realize it was changing again.  What will it be now?

We just updated the logic in 0.90 to use 0.0001 BTC as the base.

1593  Other / Off-topic / [Split] Would users be okay with sex work / sex worker groups and threads here? on: December 05, 2013, 07:24:33 AM
sometimes i don't understand why a guy would pay to get a dildo stuck up his bunghole.. i don't think i'd even accept money for that.  Cheesy

Cause some people are sick in the head... People like me and you actually had normal childhoods, creepy uncle frank didn't touch us in our naughty spots.
1594  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: Introducing Hive, a beautiful new wallet for Mac OS X on: December 05, 2013, 02:19:13 AM
It works! Smiley Do you guys have an ios app (for version 6.0)?
Nope, we haven't even started working on one, and I'm not sure if we will. We'll have to be sure Apple is ok with Bitcoin wallets on iOS, and right now we aren't (there were only 3 so far that I know of, and only one of them is still in the App Store). And we're too busy with the Mac wallet at the moment anyway...

There is jailbroken users Wink
1595  Economy / Services / Re: [WTS] Bitcoin Mixer Source Code - Start your own mixing service! 1 BTC on: December 04, 2013, 10:42:46 PM
Actually anyone that is willing to buy this for 1 BTC is really stupid. Why? Cause no one would use a bitcoin mixer that is centralized, when bitcoin mixers exist that are already decentralized. They are mostly beta, but they don't require you to send funds to a third party that could run away with it. And they use coinjoin.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rr6DeziHdFs

I think you should read the OP again...

I did and it concludes my point, no one uses centralized mixers. They are worthless.
1596  Economy / Gambling / What are your most haves in a texas hold'em platform? on: December 04, 2013, 02:31:53 AM
As many know as side project I am building my own implementation of a html5 and websocket poker server. With any project I build like this I do research and I ended up playing with and on many poker servers so I can get a good base of what it should have. But any features that are unique that you want.

Just for FYI, I am not going to implement a whole HUD, but you will have access to your data, maybe even some apis after the project is stable Wink
1597  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Discussion thread (no advertising here) on: December 03, 2013, 08:58:22 PM
Is there a way to get my Btc back that I deposited? I want to take back my .02~ because it will never make anything

NO, can you not read the thread? This question is asked a lot. This thread is for announcements and other important things not asking for your money back.
Why the attitude?
The thread is now 107 pages long, its not easy to find the answer your looking for in that many posts.

It is called google search, very easy, and it is also on the pyramining website, no need to be asked here, now troll buzz away.
1598  Economy / Services / Re: Very experienced Coder / consulting on: December 03, 2013, 01:10:25 AM

I don't do gambling casino sites for a couple of reasons.

I am looking for more work. I know php, mysql and javascript. I know Java very well. I have done many projects on this forum, without an ounce of bad feedback. I been doing this for 7+ years and been invovled in bitcoins 2+years.

Also I am looking to do more consulting work. I recently was approached by a company to help explain and be their bitcoin expert. That work has ended, and I really enjoyed it. Don't ask about the company I am still under NDA. So if you just want to pay me for my time to explain, answer questions or help you on running bitcoin company. I have ran 2 companies that were quickly purchased, I have helped many companies. I have made all my money from bitcoins. This what I eat, breathe and sleep.
