Generate keys offline, put them in database table, check using an api, then you don't have worry about sweeping them.
Can't be any easier.

I agree this is a great idea, this would also help to serve many different functioning clients, and help grow the protocol into many different directions.
I hope Tsar Gavin would approve this!

I don't think bitcoin is going anywhere except legislative death without a lobby group. A lot of people think the government should do this or that, they do not hear you and are not interested in listening. They do however listen to lobbyists. It's not cool, but that is the way it is. I am aware of no other effort to provide guidance to the government in regulating bitcoin.
Make no mistake, there are new laws coming. The only question is whether they will be made with input from the bitcoin community or just made up by regulators who don't even understand it. Here in the U.S. that is the greatest threat to bitcoin.
The foundation has done nothing to better this and I disagree we don't need government to do anything. Bitcoin is not political stop making it.

1.- Is Bitcoin Foundation necessary? (Depending what your answer 1 is) If yes: why should we support it? If no: why would you like to destroy it?
No, and no they are a lighting rod and it is better than other people to take the blame. 2.- What were the mistakes made by the Foundation? Did they do something to fix the errors?
What mistakes weren't made, they control the official client, they pay developers to do nothing. They allow people with criminal pass be board members. The biggest mistake they sat by as Mt Gox imploded. 3.- What is your alternative proposition to Bitcoin Foundation? And if it's running, I would like to know what is it?
Nothing, let us be we don't need a core of bitcoin.

Because anyone that is that competent to make an exchange already has and is running it in business form. Don't buy exchanges from people that have no idea how to built them.

Look for Hero+ members who joined 2012 or earlier. Most of the scammers and douchebags came later.
Reporting in But don't trust me unless you think you want to trust and understand the risk.

Actually they caught this guy by becoming apart of the site's support staff, so it had nothing to do with computers or anything it was really old fashion cop work. Go undercover and becoming one of them.

4:19 PM <sipa> bitcoin has a depends build system that can osx cross compilation, yes
Just now on irc
UHMMM yes that means you need a copy of OSX to get the Xcode C files... not cross compilation, more like if you needed it in a pinch you can do it, otherwise impossible. Sorry to say but the core developers aren't always the smartest people in the room

How do you know what commercial grade exchanges are? What work experience have you working with commercial grade exchanges?
I see you are using bigdecimal, why are you not using integer math? I would use primitive objects like longs to do all math operations.
I don't see any trading engine or even an outline, I hope you are not using scala for the trading engine, that should be written in C or C++ to be anything considered commercial grade.
I haven't really looked into security, but I would treat this as a hobby project not a commercial grade anything.
