What are your plans currently and what are you planning to do before this date? sell everything? hodl no matter what? maybe try to profit from a chain split? I'm personally still confused and I'm not sure what to do, I prefer waiting to see what is the standpoint of more exchanges and services.
Confusion would really be a normal thing on here on most trader will surely have this kind of feeling. As of now my plan is to hold a little bit more and would really love to see what would happen on upcoming august 1 event. I prefer to hodl as of now and seeing my portfolio on negative do really hurts me a lot. I have recently took investing on poloniex serious. Ever since I've invested the alt coins have been down. Do the amount of coins I posses go up if I stay. Also, do I have to wait for the coins to go back to their original price that I bought fo in order to make a profit? What are the reasons to holding if prices are down? Thank-you.
The reason if the price gets comeback and you will be able to exit from your portfolio wihout any loses. That is the main reason why a lot of the people still hold their portfolio and not try to sell on the dip. You will be understand about that |

all markets are in the reds today... except for NMC...and LTC....and MTL Most markets have been red this month. Not an isolated issue.... I think USDT (tether) has something to do with it... All of the crypto gets rekt today, Looks MCO is also get the big dump as fat as possible. But that will need a lot of the time to recover the price back to the normal price. But i don't know why all of the crypto gets rekt wihout any reason today. or this effect caused by the bitcoin upcoming hardfork. |

Honestly I believe bitcoin is better since one you don't use your credit card so you don't loose you needed cash but instead your cash that you could easily earn back from mining. Plus, it's open to all ages unlike credit cards.
Bitcoin is different, so it depends on each person to decide in what circumstances to use bitcoin over fiat, bitcoin is great for payments online but at the moment there is not much you can buy with bitcoin in a store and even if bitcoin was accepted there, the confirmation times can be very slow. Well Bitcoin and the other cryptocurrencies are currently the future of money but they are not better as the fiat are widely used in our day to day business and so it's possible it could take people some time to adopt to the new era of currency which is the only moment we can say that cryptocurrencies are better than fiats. The crypto as a secondary option for the digital transaction, crypto is better than regular currency in the some aspects. the transparency, easy for use and didn't spend a lot of the time, low charge but less in the adoption compared with the regular currency |

no one knows what's going on in the future so the crash that cause bitcoin can't survive may indeed exist and all speculation is on 1st august. it's better to follow the things that happen in the future. For me, if the high transaction fees and block size debate is solved, more and more people will go to bitcoin for whatever purpose they want to. We don't need to actually promote it. It will fly by itself. Right now, a lot of people don't know about it, but for me I don't insist on it. The only thing thats certain as they said is that bitcoin is going to be split. One thing I think will happen is that some of us are going to be moving their money to USDT and its price may rise a bit.
