but when my rigs are free to rent it continue to dig on middlecoin so im still with middlecoin but i increased my profit!!! lol

I was thinking about doing that too.  How much maintenance does it require to rent out your rigs?  Is it all automated?

That seems like an ideal thing to do, for sure!

FYI, this will be my last month, as I will be using my space for my own site (Mining cases and supplies) which will be up and running.

My request:
Seal, replace this spot with someone who has used your service, and/or someone who has a significant amount of posts in the "Economy" section of the board*.  That's where you want all of your signature ads to be seen anyways.  The people that will actually understand and use the product.

*To do this, go to their profile and click "Show general statistics for this member" and then look at where they post most of their topics.

Good luck to you.  I love the site even though I lost a lot of coin thinking that Silk Road was going to have a larger impact in a negative way.  Oops! Cheesy

As of March 1st, I will be removing the ad from my sig.

167  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Gauging Interest for Open-Air Aluminum Cases for GPU Mining - Ships from USA on: February 12, 2014, 07:19:44 PM
Will not have a chance to finish the stackable prototype until tomorrow but I did want to give an update that I will be changing the base of it so the motherboard will fit in the middle and there will be room for two PSUs (one on each side of the mobo)

Unfortunately the angled tubing is unavailable anywhere that I can find in the anodized black, so it will be just a silver rail that supports the PSUs so they stay firmly in place.

I was also contacted by a forum member about a custom case for the vertical mounting of video cards with the USB risers.  Once I finish that design then I will post that as another option.  Currently, I am looking to offer 4 models - both unstackable and stackable solutions in clear anodized aluminum and black aluminum.  Once I perfect the vertical design then t hat will be offered in both flavors of aluminum as well.  The clear is slightly cheaper than the black.

Over the next weeks we will be working on a rack-mountable solution.  My dad is an IT guy and is hoping to secure a data rack that we can use for building the prototype.

If anyone has any questions or would like to submit their ideas for a custom solution, feel free to post here or send me a PM.

Look forward to helping you with your custom case solutions and should be getting my own designs into production in the next couple of weeks.   I will likely have one or two units for sale by Monday.

Are you investigating Clevermining and leave Middlecoin?  Smiley

Absolutely not leaving Middlecoin.  I like their crappy website and awesome phone app Smiley

WTF?  I like animals and all but what is this shit?

People just sign up here to beg now?  You remind me of
otrkid70 who made this post almost as soon as he joined the forum.  Then the stupid fucking beggar goes and shits on a guy who wants to sell some good ol' Deer Jerky:

Hi, I'm looking for a small loan of 0.025 BTC it's about $22 USD. I'm trying to get started on Making $1300 for my Dogs surgery. (this is not a ploy for Donations) I'm positive i can make this happen but i need a starting point. My dog is a 4 year old Italian greyhound With an infected saliva gland which makes a Golf ball size lump on his throat.  My plan is this, I will use the BTC to buy Dogecoins at below market price and sell higher.  Simple. I have seen many opportunities to make this happen but no BTC to get started.   I can repay 0.030 ($25USD) in about a week.  I will keep updating my Current Status (BTC amount) to keep the momentum.     Collateral? None I can provide my cell,Home number which is listed to verify who i am.      Anyone willing to take the chance and help someone out?   Must be some Dog lover who will get me started I have seen people with negative feedback get Loans around here for higher amounts.     Thanks

171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AUTO-SWITCH] Profit-switch auto-exchange pool: CleverMining.com on: February 12, 2014, 06:41:34 AM
I am not sure why people are so obsessed with vardiff.  Changing the difficulty of submitted shares does nothing to find blocks faster or slower.  I was fine at middlecoin with diffs of 1024.  The pool doesn't get paid by shares, it gets paid by blocks.  I just like the website here better.

Because we have one crappy card, and 516 is too hard for shares.

Because you have a crappy card the whole pool must change for you? are you serious? are you a spoiled child?  Shocked ohh and its 256/512/1024

No, dude, you don't get it!  If you are mining for longer than a few hours it doesn't matter at all.  Crappy card or not, your hashes submitted will always have the same chance to get a share at any time.  With a higher difficulty the only thing that changes is the variance, which averages out over time.

173  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is anyone still holding LITECOIN? (LTC) on: February 12, 2014, 05:30:36 AM
Not sure where you get those numbers lol, but the continuous doge hashrate is definitely not that high.  Doge has around 1/3 the network strength of LTC.

Where have you been? DOGE and LTC have had roughly the same hashrate for the past three weeks. See for yourself: http://bitinfocharts.com/comparison/hashrate-ltc-doge.html

Yeah, I don't know what you're smoking, but DOGE hashrate is around the same as LTC's, and spikes higher a lot.

With all of the alt-coin auto-profit changing pools that shouldn't surprise anyone.

I still see LTC as more of a long-term contender than DOGE, but I might be wrong... as such I am considering adding DOGE to my portfolio.
174  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Asrock H81 BTC Pro Board and Sapphire Tri-X 290s on: February 12, 2014, 05:08:43 AM
There is no reason not to use powered risers. If they have a provision for power, or if they are the USB style like I sell, they are designed to be powered. Not connecting them means that the power section was just on top of the existing connections. The USB style risers have no provision for power from the motherboard to the card, so they absolutely have to be plugged in.

Definitely agree with that!

However Asrock BTC boards have two extra 4pin connectors for the motherboard so the cheapest solution would be x1 to x1 unpowered risers.

No harm in using powered in any circumstance ever though.

Ahh, my apologies. No, I didn't have to short anything to use the risers. Was plug and play. And I had used 1x-16x risers in the 1x slots (along with 1x-16x powered just because I had them) and 16x-16x in the 16x slots. And I know on one of the boards I had a 1x-16x in 16x slot which worked just as well as the rest.

Perfect!

I'll give you .37 btc for all 4 shipped to the USA

Would you be okay sending first or using escrow?  I have a flawless trust rating on this board.

Find something you love about your current life.

Imagine staying out at night with friends, and sleeping into the afternoon.
Imagine the peaceful tranquility of being at home with little to do and nothing but a sense of pure relaxation.
Imagine being free with your worries and carefree about what the future may bring...

Now picture a little crying child that is soiling himself with grown-man shits four times a day making more messes than you can imagine and demanding way more work and dedication than you have been required of in your entire life.
In a year or so he will grow into a whiny brat with no attention span who forces his wild, rampant energy upon everyone that surrounds him.

It's a long and sometimes painful journey, my friend, but when you look into his eyes and he tells you "I love you" you won't give a shit about anything else in the world.

Unfortunately I do not have any of either. Literally just through the extra CPU's and RAM I had into a few more rigs I am building. :/

No worries...  So how about the first part of the question?  Do I have to short the pins to use x1 risers or do you know?  What risers did you use, if any?

I don't NEED 4 of them, but I like the price so I might as well... Cheesy
