Ant getting 43 points on 59% shooting carried the Timberwolves tonight. If he keeps this up the Timberwolves go all the way.

That coupled with 1 steal and 2 blocked shots, he literally played 42 mins and had just 1 turnover despite being primarily guarded KCP all night long. The Timberwolves has everything that the Lakers lacked against the Denver Nuggets which is a team effort organized defense and the ability to stay oriented in a game for 48 minutes. If Timberwolves should get as opportunities as many the Lakers had with multiple double digits lead in each game before before fumbling it, this would be another 4-0 series sweep for the Wolves.

Jokic were able to put the bigs of the Timberwolves in foul trouble but the other stepped up, so it's hard for the Nuggets to beat a good team. They need to make the right adjustment in game 2, Murray should start strong not what he showed in that game where he was scoreless in the first half.

It was a winnable game by the Nuggets, their strategy wasn't just effective in that game, plust the Timberwolves are also shooting well outside, especially coming from  Conley, Reid and Edwards.
162  Economy / Economics / Re: How safe is it to keep your money and gold underground? on: May 04, 2024, 09:57:58 PM
As far as I know, that method is still used by most people; instead of keeping it in the bank, they keep it in their home, even if it is in the trunk. but not just like Op said.

And I won't be surprised why someone is still using these methods because of the bad system that the bank has. I'm not that big on the banking system either.
Well, if this kind of method works for others, then obviously a lot of people are still into it these days. Of course, no one will tell that they are doing that instead of saving in a bank, that will beat their own purpose. But to be honest, I am still quite more optimistic with saving your own wealth at your secret place at home rather than trusting them completely at a centralized bank. At least, no one will be aware that you have a lot of wealth of your own, except if you try to speculate them to the people close to you.
163  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do not let the over excitement after the bull-run pull you out to danger on: May 04, 2024, 08:59:01 PM
Some people are proud of the great achievements they were able to achieve in their journey of investing in bitcoin - then they tell everyone without realizing that there is a danger lurking around them. Financial privacy must be considered as a precautionary measure to minimize risks - including the risk of planned robbery.

There are some people I've met who take pride in posting their investment profits publicly on social media so that others can be proud of their achievements. But in essence, that has increased the risk because they never know who might want to do something bad to get that money from them. So it's true - it's best to keep quiet and hide unnecessary things, it's more profitable.
These people certainly do not clearly understand that announcing their investments or achievements all over the social media will not make them popular but will eventually put their investments at a higher risk. Even if they’ll say they are posting not to brag but to inspire, still their actions could lead to secret envy that will push other people to set plans to attack them. When that happens, they are the ones who are highly at fault, knowing they are the one who exposed their certain achievements or investments that should always be kept privately.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Israil Madrimov vs Terrence Crawford on: May 04, 2024, 11:20:45 AM

If Canelo gives Bud a shot, I think Canelo stops him. Canelo is in his 30s but is well experienced in the heavier divisions. I doubt Bud's 36 year-old body can survive the onslaught unless Canelo is contented of outpointing and keeping himself safe. Anyways, Bud has already earned his ticket to the Hall of Fame in the future. First ever 2 division undisputed in the 4-belt era, 3 division lineal champion and he might get his 4th division belt if he beats Madrimov.

They better make it happen though, it's not about who is stronger as Crawford knows how to adjust in the fight. Maybe he'll use his quickness over Canelo, just like Mayweather did to Canelo but will he succeed on that? we will find out.

First, they need to make the fight happen, I think they have already hype this fight already and even if they ddin't they are still gonna sell this fight easy since both fighters are very popular now.
165  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 04, 2024, 10:11:09 AM
What a bad day for the Cavaliers, Donovan Mitchell doing a lot of work together with Garland. They seem to be winnable before the half of the 4th quarter until that they don't have any other scorers.

Totally a messed up situation for the team, despite that scoring that Mitchell does. It's just ain't enough for the whole team when it's always like him that does all the scoring.

Strus is totally different on this game and I wonder if he's still with the Heat, what could have happened.
That's part of the game, the Magic are also trying their best not to get eliminated. However, despite this loss, the Cavaliers are still in advantage as they'll be hosting the last game of the series, the fans will certainly be into and will support them so there's no reason they can't win the game, unles Mitchell gets injured or will be in foul trouble since he is doing a lot of work carrying this team.

I think they should start trusting each other, though Mitchell is impressive in that game but it means nothing since they loss.
166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Devin Haney vs Ryan Garcia on April 20 on: May 04, 2024, 07:35:23 AM
Well, it looks like Garcia had one hell of a plan. Make everyone think you’re crazy and get the odds stacked way against you. Then bet millions of dollars on yourself to get a huge payday if you win. Then finally use steroids and don’t make weight to give yourself a massive strength advantage. Dude is playing chess, but this is pretty disgraceful. Still, I think he took home over 50 million…

We will see, although the news came from a reliable source, still we need to hear it official from the governing body on whether Ryan has been found a banned substance in his system. And after that Ryan can refute it or not and fight it out with regards to the charges. Like in this case,

https://www.sportskeeda.com/pro-boxing/wbc-clears-conor-benn-positive-tests-due-excessive-egg-consumption

Quote
The WBC found that: (1) there was no conclusive evidence that Mr. Benn engaged in intentional or knowing ingestion of Clomiphene; (2) there were no failures in the procedures related to sample collection, sample analysis, or violations of Mr. Benn’s B Sample rights that would justify questioning or invalidating the Adverse Finding; and (3) Mr. Benn’s documented and highly-elevated consumption of eggs during the times relevant to the sample collection, raised a reasonable explanation for the Adverse Finding."

Ryan Garcia has been denying this on social media and he has been telling all of his followers that he is being attacked very much similar to how Trump is being attacked. He also shared a video of Devin Haney's brother who was telling his followers that Allah was telling him that Ryan Garcia was using steroids while Devin's brother was in prayer. This is head shaking because who is the real crazy between the 2?

In any case, I wish this will only be a similar to situation to Conor Benn. Boxing does not need this type of scandal. I will trust Ryan's words until he is proven a cheater.

It will be a big discredit to Ryan if he is proven but I believe this one is just a fake news, Haney's camp just could not accept that the crazy look Ryan beat their boy who is aiming to be a hall of famer. They have to proved that, and Ryan could file a case against them if they are really spreading this lies just to destroy the reputation of Ryan and will null his win.

This forum is all about sharing and learning. It's good to know that you appreciate the things that you learn from other forum members but as you have known, this is the reason why this forum is created and for that reason why we help those in need of information or when we need help in something that we would like to understand or learn. That's why people call this forum a crypto discussion forum which I definitely agree with it.
This forum creates a lot of opportunities to learn and earn. You can learned from all the wise and smart members in the forum, and make it as your advantage to earn in the long run. This is why a lot of us are grateful for the existence of this forum, as this has helped the majority and have put them to where they are right now.

I myself is a good product of this forum, and I can say all those sleepless nights in trying to learn and understand the forum has actually paid off in the long run as I’m already earning a decent amount these days.
168  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the real bull run begin? on: May 03, 2024, 08:36:04 PM
I've already said it many times here in the forum, we don't have an accurate date when will the market is going to move since market movement cannot really be predicted for sure, but the pattern that we could rely on is on the Bitcoin halving timeline, If we are going to base on that the possible date is going to be 2025 since its about 365 days usually around 1 year after the Bitcoin Halving that is where we could see a huge rally where the Bullrun could comes.

You have already held for a long time already and invested your money accumulating Bitcoin I would say that one more year is not really going to actually hurt in the end, either way, it would still depend on how are you going to plan your exit, but if you have a good financial foundation you could easily survive bear market it doesn't really matter I guess if your planning to hold long term anyway, just make sure you have other sources of income and for sure you could hold until the Bullrun.
Yes, hodling for another year won’t really hurt us, but for those who invested with their hard-earned money, surely they are in big trouble right now. But what else can we do, the final bull run seems still far to happen so it’s either we hold and continue to accumulate more, or we’ll end up panic selling and lose everything we have started for long.

I believe a lot of us are asking when will bitcoin price start to skyrocket again and see it’s new all time high, but unfortunately we fail to find an answer. So there’s no choice left but to let patience do the waiting.
169  Economy / Speculation / Re: After the dip in crypto, when are we expecting ath? on: May 03, 2024, 08:11:34 PM
If you are a panicky guy and don't have enough patience, then you shouldn't invest in crypto. Rather, you have to find some way to invest in real life where you will have a stable income. You don't really need to look at it every day if you hold it for a long time. Traders check the price every hour, but holders don't do it. However, Bitcoin was pumped hard even before the halving when the Bitcoin ETF was approved. So it's currently not very volatile and playing a stable role. We can say it's an accumulation zone as well, though some predictors said it would dump below 60K. But who knows? We can't forecast it, so we need to have patience and not panic sell, even if the if the price keeps dumping.
Patience is the key factor in bitcoin hodling, so one should gain a lot of patience so he won’t be completely bothered with how bitcoin price drops drastically. Otherwise, he will never come to experience the final bull run but will only lose his investment prior to that due to panicking that creates wrong decision making.

Bitcoin, no matter how profitable it is, will always be volatile in nature. That’s why its price changes inevitably, that none of us here will be able to tell what will be the next movement for bitcoin.
170  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: May 03, 2024, 02:33:27 AM
Embiid is back, the momentum has already shifted on their favor, so I think I'm gonna take a break now and focus on the this very exciting game.

He is still doesn't look 100% in the game but as long as he play aggressively, the Sixers can get through this one. Embiid should not settle for his jumper, instead attac the paint and put Hartenstein in foul trouble, and anyone who is assigned to guard him. Defense is the key for this win and they have to be consistent until the end of the game. Good luck sixers and its bettors, they'll get this W.
171  Economy / Economics / Re: Starting a business without capital. on: May 02, 2024, 08:44:20 PM
Starting a business without capital is almost impossible no matter how big or small, capital is needed. It is possible to rise through labor but it will require capital. It is not possible to do anything with empty hands by making more profit by using little capital. Without money the foundation of business is not built or the thought of doing business without cost is a sign of foolishness. If you have skills knowledge talent or special knowledge as capital then don't stop because you don't have money. Go into business with small capital and try to provide your services for money.
I guess capital does not only stick to money but even your stock knowledge and skills can also be good assets or capital in your business. However, if you start a business without sufficient amount of money, that will certainly require a lot of work to do, since you still need to come up with money first from your skills or experience and I know it will definitely takes a longer time. But if you have both, the money and your skills and experience in making your business work, that is already a big advantage on your part.
172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Don't invest in Bitcoin because others are investing in Bitcoin on: May 02, 2024, 03:59:30 AM
Yes, it is true. Don't invest just because it's hype, or people are talking about it. It would be very wise if we do research first. Many people fail because of this. They follow the hype too much and enter at the wrong time, so they only end up losing money. However, this does not apply only to bitcoin, but all types of investments. In-depth research, and decision making after that is the most appropriate thing to do.
The problem with people is that they tend to be more lazy when it comes to doing their own research. They prefer to ride with the hype instead, and just put their trust to those who have been successful with the kind of investment they wish to invest. That’s why a lot of newly investors didn’t make it to the top, because they never  make an effort from the start. And it’s only in the end they’ll realized that some investments may work for others but won’t work for themselves. Maybe their due diligence to exert bigger efforts within their preparation also matters a lot.
173  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Invest To Learning First on: May 02, 2024, 02:50:30 AM
Yes investment is always risky therefore we have to invest after learning about it and if we know that such an investment field is risky then there will always be a better part of it and we can learn to reduce the risk if we want success. Success does not come in a day or we cannot get the desired profit immediately but we will work for it and a day will come when our dreams will become true.

You can use your knowledge and skills for getting profit even from a highly risky investment field so try to get help from watching videos and if possible then also listen from the experts because they can give you good learning and good suggestions regarding better investment strategies.
I believe our knowledge and skills are our best weapon towards the success of our own investment. So if we can acquire maximum learning prior to investing, I think that will most likely lead to a very successful and profitable investment. In addition, those videos and demonstrations can be helpful a lot in dealing wisely with our investments, but as a reminder, verify them first through diligent research before applying them into your own investment. That is way safer for us.
174  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What will you do if you find yourself in a similar situation like this? on: April 29, 2024, 06:05:33 PM
I would just have to be honest, people makes mistake, so am I, so all i can do is tell my parents about it and hope for forgiveness and promise not to do the same mistake again. They are my parents, so I know they can forgive mme because they love me, and I have to admit that I made a mistake of being an irresponsible gambler who loves sports betting.

It's not only about asking forgiveness for me, I have to get back the trust of my parents and will pay the money that I lost in gambling. That's how a responsible person should act, ask the mistake, and correct the mistake, and it will only be corrected if I can replace the money that I lose which they entrusted to me.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Would you cashout or wait for the game to conclude? on: April 29, 2024, 01:04:10 PM
I would not let myself affected on that, that ticket will win, you might blame yourself. So as a gambler, we should be aware and strong enough to control our emotion and let the game be over to check if we win or not. Because if we think of cashing out once we see a profit already, then we should not be betting with a parlay, we can just do single bet or 2 leg parlay, easier, then wait for the outcome of either win or loss.

Actually, cashing out for me is a sign of being indsicipline, because when you cash out, you still gamble on the outcome as not everytime you cashout you make the right decision, sometimes you make a wrong one because you are suppose to make bigger win but you cash out.
176  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Nery For Undisputed 122lbs Title - May on: April 29, 2024, 10:59:59 AM
Have you guys seen the video of Inoue sparring against former title challenger Raymart Gaballo? It demonstrates the power, accuracy and speed of Inoue. Although Nery is heavier and more experienced than Gaballo. The video showed Gaballo wearing a head gear and we saw Inoue hurt former champions Stephen Fulton and Marlon Tapales and Nery is no different. But of course I am also interested what Nery can offer. He's like a Japanese assassin when he ended the long reign of former champion and p2p top 10 Shinsuke Yamanaka.

Inoue-Gaballo sparring: https://www.facebook.com/reel/3388484004785974

Thanks for the video mate,

Dang, the power of Inoue is really unreal, I agree that even if Gaballo had that head gear to support, still though he felt Inoue's power. What if there are no head gear? The result? Almost 90% KO rate for the Japanese.

Definitely, Nery will show in this fight just like what others did feeling very confident. But once Naoya got into his rhythm I wouldn't be surprised that Nery going down early or another knockout win for the Monster year and then putting his name on top of the pound for pound list.

Inoue is just getting stronger and I'm pretty sure that Nery is aware of that. As long as Nery is confident to face Inoue, we will surely see a an exciting fight, unless the pass opponents of Inoue that when they feel the power of Inoue, they change their style and become more defensive to prevent from getting knockout. That way, if they will do that, that's an easy win for Inoue and people will not be happy with their performance as that would only show they are just fighting to survive.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2024 NBA Season on: April 29, 2024, 08:34:54 AM
This Suns vs Timberwolves game has been pretty close with plenty of lead changes. All the superstars are having great games. This one is fun to watch. Durant and KAT especially are having great games.
Yeah, very close.

Remaining time is 7:38 minutes in the 4th quarter and Edwards has got 20+ points and still a lot of time remaining. While Booker got 42 points.

This could be an OT later.

I was hoping for an OT but Suns could not convert their shots, the defense of Timberwolves is so good. Now, this team who exited will still be the same team next season, I wonder how the management would feel after investing a lot of money for the big 3 that they could not get a first round pick. They are getting old, and they lack players especially the 2nd unit who could help Durant and Booker, I don't know how they'll work that out next season but they have to.

It's better than the game ended that way so they will not expect anymore. Suns were able to limit ANT early but he exploded in the 2nd half where it's winning time. I don't see the Suns being hunger anymore, they don't play with great chemistry and it was really their defense which is a big problem.

Booker scored 49 and Durant had 33, but it's not enough because one of the big 3 Bradley Beal only score 9 points. Sorry to say but IMO, he has become a liability of the team, no wonder he got traded from his old team. So next season maybe one of the big 3 will be traded.

Losing in 4-1 record is better than losing in 4-0. They will still lose anyway because no teams  yet in the history of the NBA have come back from a 0-3 deficit. Yes, Durant and Booker really put up a good numbers but if we look at the full scoreboards, it's pretty evident that the bench have a very few contribution.

In fact, if we look again, only 2 players are in double digit for the Suns while the Timberwolves have 4. That's the evidence that the Suns are not moving the ball well or not playing like a team, so they can't really win.

This is not good, Knicks beat the Sixers and the series is now 3-1 in favor of the Knicks.

Brunson scored    47 points, probably a playoffs high for him. I can't believe the Sixers being a good defensive team was not able to stop Brunson, now they are in a dangerous situation as next game will be at the home of the Knicks, and it's likely that they will lose since Knicks had taken the first 2 games in the series. Great season start for the Sixers but then again they just proved that they still are not a good playoffs team.

What a crazy game.  Yes 47 is his playoff high and actually a knicks franchise high in the playoffs...ever.  Dude is slowly climbing the all time kncims ranks and he has only been on the team 2 years lol.  In all seriousness they had hartenstein out all 4th quarter with 5 fouls and no mitch today.  They had precious Achiuwa in all quarter and barely ever went into the post.  Knicks dominated the offensive boards.  I think one series down they had 5 different offensive boards.  I'm a Knicks fan so I might be bias but this Knicks team beats you in so many ways.

This team is legit, honestly, I underestimated them as I believe that Brunson isn't as good as the legit superstars, you can't blame me because he is not even an all star starter but night in, night out, he just showed how good he is and could really carry the team like a legit superstar. I don't know if there's someone in the team now in the playoffs like him, I think he is the only one with one supertar in the team that could drop 30 to 40 points in a game and this is in a low scoring game. BTW, congratulations, seems like your team are gonna advance in the 2nd round easily.
