161  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: New rules from FinCEN on: December 19, 2020, 10:14:06 PM
Hasn't this been applied before already? I mean I kept seeing this kinds of news before where a customer moves 10,000$ worth of crypto and the financial entity is required to report it so I don't know what has been changed with this rule because it is exactly the same thing the way I see it. It is still the same AML rule we have seen in the past couple of years so really nothing has changed.
162  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: December 19, 2020, 09:30:25 PM
schalke 04 didn't win today either. 11 months have passed since their last win. If these performances continue, they are very likely to be relegated.

there is no any sign that Schalke is improving their performace and defeat from the neighbors in the bottom of the table Arminia Bielefeld is another proof. today Schalke is the first nominee for relegation.

I'm not following up with this team but I remembered they event went up to 2nd place in Bundesliga and Bayern was on top, I don't remember any notable departures during that time but they have just replaced their manager and after that it went downhill from that time. Maybe this is just one of those management gone wrong type of situations where you won't even notice that they are slowly being a bad team.
163  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: December 19, 2020, 08:34:42 PM
Juventus will play an away match against Parma tonight. Parma are one of the surprise teams in the league that can make big teams have difficulties while playing against them. For example, they got one point in their away matches against Milan and Inter this season. Juventus drew with Atalanta in their home match three days ago. They have a good performance lately and I think they will manage to win here against Parma.

They are current 2-0 against Juventus and that only shows the gap of performance against a top team against a team who is struggling to be relegated. If you look at the previous matches of Parma you won't see them beat out top teams in the table because they aren't that good to do so. They lost 3 goals against Roma and 2 goals against Napoli without even scoring a goal so I don't think top teams are having a tough time facing against Parma.
164  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 18, 2020, 11:26:14 PM
Regular season opening in about five days. How's your favorite team doing so far? Any changes on who you might think will go to the playoff this season like Warriors or maybe Pelicans making the cut?

Any bookie who has odds available for this season's champ?

GSW I believe won't make the cut even if they have brought it Kelly Oubre as well as James Wiseman into the team, they have a huge improvement on the SG spot but don't forget that they are overpaying Wiggins for his Andre Iguodala performance. Aside from that we are talking about the Western Conference here where all the top teams compete where even having a positive Win-Loss ration in that conference won't make the cut. If they won't have Klay Thompson back this season I won't see them in the playoffs.
165  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2020-12-12]Another Billionaire Wall Street Legend Has Changed His Tune On BTC on: December 14, 2020, 07:04:08 PM
One thing is for sure about this guys with companies they are running and changing their views with Bitcoin is they are planning to earn from it either personally or through their companies. This is what happened to businesses such as Paypal and JP Morgan where they changed their views towards Bitcoin and they have used Bitcoin as well in their businesses. This will be the same scenario for this guy especially as he is running a hedgefund company where Bitcoin can be one of their investment products.
166  Economy / Economics / Re: Loans are cheap good time to use loans for Investment in btc on: December 14, 2020, 06:26:26 PM
I don't think borrowing money in order to earn money is something a wise man would. Yeah sure people borrow money all the time to create their own businesses and other investments but on Bitcoin's side where you need to borrow money in order to earn in a volatile market I don't think a bank would even approve you a loan. That's why we have seen news that some banks already disallowed credit card purchases of Bitcoin because they label it as a risky way of using your credit. If you want to invest in crypto you should use money you can afford to lose.
167  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: For whole blockchain communiy. About our future. on: December 14, 2020, 03:09:02 PM
Sounds like a very cool concept, if this will really help and help us cut the strings from centralisation then go for it. Looks like this is project that could change the world we live in, but it will be a long battle since governments is too allergic to unregulated things.

Tbh I don't know where this guy is going because on his OP he said that he is developing a project involving the payment of taxes to the government. Now in his last reply it sounds like the government is one of the problems we are facing right now which I really don't understand, are they working with them or are they against them? The reply itself is to vague to get anything out of it because he is involving a lot of parties from jobs, companies, to even the government in which the project itself is too big but the information he is giving is not sufficient.
168  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: December 14, 2020, 02:43:28 PM
thats nothing for a previous winner that wons the first prize with only 1 ticket ( if i still recall ) i havent see that in this thread but i was doing a manual scan for previous lottery winners if i have a time .

i dont buy tickets now but i buy tickets before although not that much because i only use the coins that i got on free rolls but with the new game/promotion of freebitco which is the wheel game i think this is the time that i can wagger more lottery tickets .
Yes, I remember that too.  I saw that here in the thread that someone shared.  Probably the only one who can break that record if the winner of the Lambo draw only has one Golden ticket.

I also don't buy tickets even before because I know there is something to be gained from every freeroll and wager, as well as claimed by your referrals.  I also have not seen for a long time giving an event multiplier for lottery tickets.

@Betwrong, good luck on your prediction bets.

People who bought hundreds of thousands of those tickets are probably on a rage or even felt that they were so unlucky that they haven't won the first prize, I'm pretty sure that some of them lost money in the process in doing so. That's one of the bad things for betting in me because even if you can increase your chances/odds on getting the first prize there is still no guarantee that you will be able to take it.
169  Other / Meta / Re: 10 years ago Satoshi made his last post on: December 14, 2020, 11:38:19 AM
The anniversary for last post of satoshi on the forum helps bitcoin rise to above $19,300 and tries its another round to break $20,000. Any coincidence?

The anniversary brings a good time to read Satoshi's lesson as one of way to remember of satoshi contribution and his time on the forum.

Again with this kinds of connection where it makes us traders and hodlers of Bitcoin look like we respond to everything that is connected or even not connected to us. I know this won't stop but the movement of Bitcoin is at is no matter who won the recent US Presidential election or no matter there is another ban again happening in India or China. Now we are connecting even the last post of Satoshi and the traders are celebrating because of it and they are pumping Bitcoin not until you give me a solid evidence I won't be believing what you are saying.
170  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Oyster Pearl “Bruno Block” Charged With Multimillion-Dollar Tax Evasion by DOJ on: December 14, 2020, 11:02:41 AM
One of the reasons why people should try to avoid that is everything being hyped up in the crypto industry because most of it is just noise and false claims. I think people should set this as an example that not everything they see or more particular not every project they see is worth looking for since right now there are more and more projects being launch but the utility of it isn't really that relevant at all. For criminals who think that the crypto industry is still a place for stealing money than think again since the authorities are moving in fast and trying to make it more and more regulated.
171  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you believe in bitcoin/altcoin market stock predictions? on: December 14, 2020, 10:12:57 AM
You might be talking about PlanB's Bitcoin S2F model since his 100,000$ prediction is set at December 2021 which I think really is something that a lot of people are really convince about since PlanB created a convincing article about why he think it will skyrocket that way. From what I remember PlanB himself said that his model has flaws and it might not be accurate because the S2F model purely focuses on the supply of Bitcoin and it doesn't count any external factors that can affect it which I think has a great contribution to what will influence Bitcoin.
172  Other / Off-topic / Re: Fury vs Joshua --- who will win? on: December 14, 2020, 09:15:52 AM
I think Tyson Fury has the edge here not only in boxing performance or on ring performance but also outside performance more specifically the mind games that Tyson Fury is good at. Mind games along both on and off the ring can destroy a boxer's confidence thus affecting the performance and me seeing Joshua as some kind of boxer who won't talk or answer back I don't think Anthony Joshua can last what trash Fury will throw at him in the months of preparation they will be doing.
173  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Investors Get BTC So Wrong, and What it Says About its strenghts on: December 14, 2020, 08:52:58 AM
But will you really consider Bitcoin hard forks liked Bitcoin Cash and Bitcoin Gold as the original Bitcoin? I don't think it should be treated that way because when we look at the US dollar being printed in one way they are still creating more and more US dollars not some kind of different kind of US dollar making its total supply more and more. Bitcoin on the other hand still stays true with their original supply without increasing it's 21,000,000 limit.
174  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔶 YOLOdice.com 🔶 play&invest BTC ETH LTC DOGE on: December 13, 2020, 11:30:19 PM
We have already talked about the simple fact that house edge is house edge and there is no way we could change that, you could have as many accounts or do as many cheeky stuff as you want and in the end we all lose money because of house edge. That house edge manages to make it mathematically impossible for all of us to lose money when we gamble long enough, if we keep constantly grinding and grinding, we will end up with losing a lot of money and that is the end of the story, no other way available.

However if you really want to gamble and win, the only method would be short bursts, like go in there, gamble all, win and leave. If you leave while you are ahead and not gamble again, you may actually end up profiting but that is the only way you could profit.
Well, with multiple accounts and against house edge results could be profit or loss, and if it is loss that is bad but if it is profit you get something, here you get something even if you lose which is great.

However how would you plan on trying to stop people from gambling with very very low odds of losing, like 90%+ chance, even as far as 99% if it is there (don't remember what the max was) and betting very small amounts and just leave it to automatic. That should probably give them a huge wagering amount without really losing too much money neither, it is still the same amount of money lost in the end, you will lose it all in the end, but it also allows them to wager more money before they end up losing it all.

What's good on having multiple accounts when you can have all that money betting in one account? You won't really have an advantage at all when you are betting with multiple accounts I don't see some kind of chance increasing in your way with you doing that. If where you are gambling is they have a edge then it will be guaranteed that house edge will be experienced by all of the accounts you are using.
175  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you rely on the odds when placing bets? on: December 13, 2020, 11:04:36 PM
For me aside from checking the odds I always check the teams itself and their current conditions are because yeah the odds will show on who has the advantage but it doesn't show you what will really happen in a match or what the outcome will really be because there are factors such as last minute roster changes and even the underdog suddenly beating the favored team. Odds really is just showing you the first page of an entire book on choosing what team you will be betting on.
176  Economy / Gambling / Re: Is this a scam? on: December 13, 2020, 10:44:37 PM
The moment he asked for money as an exchange for his "strategy" is instantly a red flag. He said I could ask you to pay "10$" where really he can earn that 10$ right away with his "strategy" the truth is if he as a winning strategy already he won't be asking money or if he already has a system that would work for him I don't think he would share his strategy in the first place.  I don't even think his proof that he showed are real and what he is showing can easily be edited.
177  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2021 NBA Season on: December 13, 2020, 09:26:42 PM
Yeah Ball is being hyped up by a lot of people but it doesn't mean because he is a good basketball player. Yeah stat-wise and his performances look good in the basketball league in Australia but it doesn't mean it will translate into NBA just like how college players failed to translate in the NBA, this is evident to a lot of kids being a bust even if a lot of players and analyst predicted them to have a good NBA career but they turned out to be a bust. Also there is a in-depth analysis on Lamelo's stats it just shows that he is a below-average player in the NBA in most stats he has.

Not everything from his Australian performance can translate into NBA. For sure not his defence. He was one of top players with steals in whole Australian league. But we need to remember that in NBA there is more space since 3 point line is pushed further. So it is much harder to defend and steal in NBA than in Australian league. But with rebounds is different story. He will make same or even more. His main problem is shooting. If he will not be able to improve that he will max be a rotation player. But since he is young that can be improved.

That's what I am saying also Ball isn't really known for his defense but for his playmaking ability which the highlight reels is trying to show but the truth is it is really not polish and aside from that you'll see that in his highlights that his defenders are not really that competitive as compared to the NBA. You can see it in his first preseason game as well he got 0 points and only 4 assist which I think is awful for a preseason game and for a 3rd overall pick.
178  Other / Meta / Re: My new idea about creating topics regularly but I would like to be sure first... on: December 13, 2020, 08:42:42 PM
I have read a related post against a user who just translated a whole article without using the quote feature but providing link for the original article and I think even DT members didn't counted it as plagiarism as he have linked the original article. So I think using Google translate as well as editing what has already been translated is good as long as you will be crediting the original article will be counted as a translation kind of thread. Maybe highlighting or noting it as a translated article will avoid any confusion that you are trying to plagiarize a content.

Ah, no worry about goverments. No worry about wars.

I think he has a point here though remember that when you are creating a system where you include other parties I think you should have the permission to do so because if you don't you are just creating a project that has no use just like what he said. So bottomline is it matters on who is involve and if they allowed you already to use it.

Whether we like it or not, there are still people who will watch this fight, me personally will not buy the PPV as there are a lot of free streaming online so I will just watch them, my only interest is just to bet, though it's not an even match but the asian handicap will make it even, you know what I'm saying.

Opportunities for those gamblers who loves taking that kind of risk, knowing that the fight is just a no bearing one. We all know that there are still fans and they are willing to take it, promoters knows that before calling this fight the consensus was  made, checking if support for this fight will still be there.

And since it's happening we can just say that everything has set to go what the fighters are waiting now

are the paycheck being collected after this events to enjoy those profits.

Well if they really want to make things official I still think making this a profrssional fight is the way to go rather than actually trying to profit from each other just because of their names. Because Mayweather is actually just doing this because he knows himself that there is no bearing whether he wins this match or not. He might have woken up on the time he fought McGregor where Connor actually gave him a good early round.
