1601  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What will happen to alts if Bitcoin crashes back to $5000? on: October 14, 2019, 12:16:03 PM
Who knows? But if it does happens, there will always be the probability that people may start to turn their interests on Altcoins with unique features and more use cases and start increasing on their holdings - giving a much needed push to its value in the end.
Or it can also be with Bitcoin crashing down, most Altcoins may follow suit and fall straight down the bin.
Either way, anything is possible. We just can never tell.
Ha ha! Where do you see that happening again, if bitcoin drops to $5000, it means people are dumping and if they can dump bitcoin, what would make them invest in altcoin that they no longer find funny again. You already observe how bitcoin decline affects some altcoins, and how its increases also affect some altcoins too.

It means that the more bitcoin declines, the more it is possible for some coin to even go as low as zero when bitcoin turns to that $5000. The good news is that, I really don’t see anything that will turn bitcoin to $5000 again, bitcoin has already grown past that stage and I think that the next value of bitcoin will be growing towards achieving the year's all time high of $13 to $15k on or before the year ending, I think $5000 is totally not feasible anymore.
1602  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🎲EOSBet.io - Licensed Casino Platform 🎲Provably Fair 🎲NOW ACCEPTING BTC ₿ on: October 13, 2019, 01:24:24 PM
There is a problem with the on-chain betting and decentralized gambling that nobody realized so far, we all look how amazing it is and we forget the part where it is horrible. If we continue with decentralized casinos that doesn't have owners, then how can GP make a problem with the laws and the lack of payments? You are basically taking away his fake business out of him, he can't even fake it now.

All jokes aside it is always a great feeling to know that my money is not at the hands of someone else, I can gamble as much as I want and I will be in control of my own gambling, same with the investment as well, I could just have all my bet tokens and will get dividends, nobody pays me, it is all automatic in the system so it is a great feeling to not trust on a centralized organization for my profits.
1603  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 $1,000 Daily Race💰7-day streak bonus🔥 on: October 13, 2019, 11:33:32 AM
Wolf Race now ends 2 hours earlier at 5 PM (UTC), and today's top 10 is here!

Top 3 is still doing very well for themselves, don't forget that this is a constant thing in wolf.bet, in other places they do wagering contests time to time and they get bigger whales playing there but they are not constant so the winners are only gambling periodically however here it is always there and the winners are always playing so it is combined makes for a lot bigger numbers, if they did once a month think about how much wagering amount would have been here.

So, for something this frequent the amount is definitely good enough that doesn't require too much. The prizes are good too, I mean which casino gives this much money this frequently? There are very few ones that does these type of giveaways (or competitions if you want to call them) this frequently.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 13, 2019, 09:58:59 AM
I'd also like to share mine.

  • No withdrawal fees.
  • No KYC.
  • Low minimum and high maximum withdrawal limits.
  • Low house edge.
  • Hassle-free withdrawal. Some take a considerable amount of time.
  • Instant payment. Some take enough time for bettors not to be able to make use of their winnings to bet on another match which is played almost at the same time as the other.
  • Early availability of odds and betting opening for matches.
  • A long list of available sports, including eSports, local and international, and other matches for betting.
  • With search engine.
  • With active chat support services.
  • Odds boosts to be given more often.
  • Regular promos and special offers.

I sound very demanding but I am just being honest. Grin
I think you wrote down my mind mate, this is honestly everything I wish to get on a site but like they say, if wishes were horses, surely a lot of beggars would ride. It is an impossible thing, and also, it is a dream that I know might never come true for us because no gambling site would be willing to offer all this except they have plans of shutting down soon or maybe they are either scam sites that want to exit the market in grand style lol.

No KYC is a compulsory one for me, and I am glad I can control this, so what I do most times is to gamble on sites that do not ask for KYC, at least we are lucky there are still sites that do this but It would have really been very nice if all sites didn't have that option for KYC.
1605  Economy / Economics / Re: China launching its own crypto currency ? on: October 13, 2019, 09:10:07 AM
How can you not see a negative affect here? Are you from Chinese government?

We are talking about a country that literally kills a person and all of his family if they spoke against the government. They are worse than mafia and they control EVERYTHING in their country, they are not a communism, they are a dictatorship that makes everyone work for the government.

If they ever go for a crypto of their own or a blockchain project of any kind they will literally take control of it and run that project all their own without any decentralization. The whole point of crypto is decentralization where the central banks and governments could ruin fiat but we would have crypto to run away to, that won't happen with china, they would try to censor even the spending habits of people if they succeed.
1606  Economy / Economics / Re: Everything you wanted to know about BTC futures but were afraid to ask! on: October 13, 2019, 08:30:58 AM
It is not weird to be afraid of bitcoins price, everyone should be afraid of the price at all times when it is low or high, it is not the part where you are afraid you should be worried about it should be the lack of bravery when going into bitcoin, bravery is not the state of "not being afraid of anything", no, bravery is being afraid of something but doing it anyway because you want to, that is when you are brave and if you are not brave in bitcoin market then I am afraid you will never make money.

You should be afraid and you should accept the fact that you will never know what the price of bitcoin will do and still invest anyway no matter what. Those type of people do lose money sometimes but they are also the ones who make the most profit out of crypto trading.
1607  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Shill Me Your Altcoins on: October 12, 2019, 06:53:28 PM
I'm all in bitcoins right now, when the price of BTC is about to rise it is a good time to buy, but I think we will see more altcoin carnage before things change again.

But if I was going to buy now, I would go for altcoins that are around for years but lost most of their marketcaps. Ethereum and Litecoin, for example. Just look what happened with LTC price in the last BTC rally.
Bitcoin and top altcoins would still be the best investment to ever consider at any time, as they are still the most reliable coin that you can ever get with high volume, and even if their market cap is down right now, they are still having lots of recognition and they are the ones that people are buying more because they have real use product, we only need some bull trend for those coins to be able to recover fully.

In the future when bitcoin bull run starts, altcoins that are at the top are still the only coins that will ever rise along with bitcoin, most of those other coins that are not within the group may really never see much growth as investors would not pay much attention to them as they do for most of the coins that are within the top 10 to 200.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Often Do you Bet on Politics? on: October 12, 2019, 06:12:46 PM
I think politics is a very nasty business! It is a place where there is no cap to your earnings and no cap to your power only all you need to do is influence people with your words. I see betting on politics as really excellent way to create money. Because generally results can be quite predictable therefore proving people with enough opportunity to earn money.
On the contrary, betting on politics is the most unpredictable kind of game. I am sure you have no idea what betting on politics could be like, if you did, you would understand better. I hate to bet on politics because I know the nature of the game, it can be deceitful and as well confusing and coupled with the fact it doesn't come very often like other games makes it even more discouraging.

In my opinion, there are numerous numbers of very high standard and interesting casino games to really play than for anyone to start wasting time, efforts money on politics betting. It doesn't give any privilege to earn money, rather it takes money away from players which some even end up leading to argument if it is physical own.
1609  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's most important to you in a crypto betting platform? on: October 12, 2019, 05:16:02 PM
There are many platforms that are based on decentralized blockchain system and are certified. Instant transaction can also be easily found. As far the customer support quality goes, big platforms provide that too. The most important one is provably fairness and that my friend, is not possible. If casinos and betting platforms will become fair, they hold no chance of earning money or profit in this business. So it is best to stay away from gambling of all sorts.
I am not one of those that believe there are no provably fair sites, there are even though they are quite few, there are just too many greedy gamblers that that have lost their sense of reasoning and are mainly the causes of their loses while attributing it to gambling. Leaving gambling is optional, so I don’t think advising people to do that is necessary at all.

I am one of the few that have been lucky and blessed  by gambling and as such detest to see ill things either been written or spoken of gambling. There are ways to find out provably fair sites, maybe you should do more research on this. So back to the upper post, I enjoy variety when it comes to games so I prefer when a site has different spices lol.
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Celebrities you probably don't know were(are) aggressive gamblers on: October 12, 2019, 04:20:36 PM
There are so many people who do gambling for fun and this is addiction. Gambling is an addictive game and most of the people who have countless money, they do gambling for fun and in no time, they find themselves as addicts of gambling. Often these guys are then running after counselors for getting rid of this unhealthy habit. Let us not follow them blindly.
I sincerely do not understand why many gamblers cannot differentiate between addiction and fun. Once a player starts playing excessively, loosing and not being concerned, that is definitely addition that needs to be controlled. Like the upper poster has rightly mentioned, a lot of this celebrities we take as role models are not happy about their gambling habit, they only find it difficult to say it out to the public and many are running about to get help but followers just assume they are having fun.

I am glad when I hear of a celebrity gambler, what it sometimes means to me is that there are still people gambling for entertainment, but once there is anyone who is too regular in gambling and as well plays too regularly, we should be smart enough to know they are addicted.

1612  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Bankers Say Cryptocurrencies Do Not Threat The Global Financial Stability on: October 04, 2019, 07:17:29 PM
It is not going to change much for USA because of dollars value that is true and it is gonna be a big challenge for China or Russia because they are doing fine. However for the middle countries it may change a lot of stuff.

Like maybe Greece will start to accept crypto taxes in crypto form, anyone who has profited anything from crypto has to pay taxes to government in form of that currency, which means the treasury will have a ton of bitcoins sitting around, yeah they may end up with a bad financial situation at one time but they would have a ton of crypto to cover those expenses and get out of recession.

There are a ton of countries who are not USA, UK, China and what not. You can't just hope Venezuela or Zimbabwe figures out a way with crypto neither, they are too far gone. So, anyone who is at the middle would take advantage of it.
1613  Economy / Economics / Re: Bakkt released September 23 Is it going to pump or dump the price? on: September 29, 2019, 07:22:39 PM
By the logic, that whales do what the opposite of public thinks bitcoin will do, we can expect a rise very soon. Right now, everyone thinks that bitcoin is on a bear run and the price keeps going down and down which means eventually it will hit bottom, but reality is we dropped to $8k and stayed there, we are not going any further down as it looks and if people keep thinking that bitcoin will be $3k like last time than whales could allow people to sell and they would buy and buy and buy to have more and more bitcoins and as soon as they feel like the sells are slowing down they will buy more from the order book and increase the price back to $10k very easily.

Right now, there is not a big wall between $8k and $10k, so if whales wanted to get it back up it would be super easy for them.
1614  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why will BTC halving stimulate price growth? on: September 26, 2019, 05:21:34 AM
I've read that the only reason why Bitcoin price starts pumping before the halving because people assume that the Bitcoin will pump in price. They will buy before the pump which results into Bitcoin actually pumping at the year of halving. Same goes for every copy-cats of Bitcoin. As long as a lot of people believing in something like this, it will surely happen.
This may really not work this time around because people have seriously this period stayed away from FOMO, in the previous hype that we have had, most people have always been a victim of FOMO, and this was the thing that resulted to an increased value in 2017 that gave ATH that we got, because people kept believing that the price will continue to rise and because they don’t want to miss out.

Many keeps pumping money in from every angle which little did we all know that this was exactly the thing that was actually facilitating the price until we had no one that wants to FOMO again and then the market crashed. When halving comes like everyone believes, the effect of halving is not what will actually make us witness a price increase, but effect of our belief that it will is what may make it increase. Just like this bakkt, if bakkt will make the value of bitcoin grow without wasting much time, it would be because of our believes and  not the halving itself.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: How Bakkt will influence Bitcoin price? on: September 25, 2019, 03:27:42 PM
Volume is so little that it makes absolutely no sense to be hyped about this. After seeing bakkt everywhere for years I was thinking them like they were some big deal but right now there is literally no trade that really could shape the future of bitcoin, its so tiny that it wouldn't change anything in bitcoin world.

Personally, I believe if there was this much hype about it and there was no volume to support that hype, I am imagining a scenario where big companies who will use bakkt are just waiting for a better moment and they are holding their investments until its established and showed that it does what it does properly without any issues and over time there will be more and more volume, if that is not the case then there is really nothing we can get out of bakkt and its useless.
I am sorry to say that those who were expecting bakkt to make any difference as soon as it gets to the market are clowns, how is that possible when it is not applei Phone or Samsung galaxy product that people have been used to and they do queue up for another one when there is a new version, this is so because people are already used to that product and are eager for new features.

Bakkt is a new product entirely, and this is a platform that no one has ever used before, it is not that they are upgrading or adding new future, it is an entirely new system on its own, and people don’t so much fall for hype again, so I never expected anything from bakkt until we have some level of growth in its usage, they started with 7 btc which was quite huge to me, and from that 7btc, they will continue to grow in volume till it gets to  stage where it can have an effect on the market.
1616  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Bulls Celebrate Too Early? on: September 24, 2019, 08:10:57 PM
At present, it is difficult to understand the status of Alter Coins. There was a time when the price of Bit Coin would increase. But Alter Coin will run the bull. Because Alter Coins will not always be in bad shape.

actually it is never hard to understand the "status" of altcoins, they are always getting pumped and dumped. the only thing that is hard is predicting when they get pumped. and most people confuse these pumps with bull runs which imposes a lot of problems for them, otherwise if you see them for what they really are then you won't get confused like the OP here!
There are some altcoins that are actually not a pump and dump coin, although the ratio of coins that are very useless to the ones that are genuine are quite high that we could confuse the good ones for the bad ones,  unfortunately they are actually being affected also because many investors when they talk of bad altcoins, they generalize it and the action they take is to abstain from altcoins, and this is why even the good altcoins like Ethereum are suffering today because the bad ones are making investors to abstain from them.

This last increase we saw in virtually all altcoins may be a fake one, but this is the excitement and this is how it is going to feel when the altcoin season starts which I believe that it will start within the next few months, I can really see the signs already which is also why bitcoin is having problem growing.
1617  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🚀 Sportsbet.io - Main Club Partner of Watford FC ⚽ Fun. 🏀 Fast. 🎾 Fair. 🏆 on: September 22, 2019, 03:00:10 PM
I know this will be a very very bad way to approach things and I am sorry for laughing at others mishaps but losing to city 8-0 is actually not a bad deal for bitcoin.

Think about it if the game ended 2-1 or whatever there wouldn't be any news about it, nobody would have talked about the game, it would be just another premier league game that gets no attention at all. Do you know what happens when you lose 8-0?

There are plenty of news, there are TONS of news, people talk about it and they make news articles about it, they talk about it in football channels and programs on TV, so in the end the name sportsbet.io gets more and more public awareness for all that attention it is getting. I wish Watford won 8-0 that would have been better of course but I would take 8-0 loss over 1-0 loss in marketing sense.
1618  Economy / Speculation / Re: [2019-09-12] Bobby Lee Suddenly Makes $200,000 BTC Price Prediction on: September 21, 2019, 02:28:32 PM
This is only once again one of many predictions about the future price of Bitcoin. Yes, I think they'll be right about the price prediction, but I'm bored with those predictions. It's easy to predict the obvious.  Cheesy
I think that the boredom is more in my own side than yours because I am tired of all the speculations, and I think those people are just making mockery of the system now, because sometimes, their prediction can be unrealistic just because they want to become famous using the name of bitcoin, or they want to add to their fame using the bitcoin hype that is on ground.

I usually don’t pay attention to those people, my investment in bitcoin is not for a short term purpose but for a long term one, and whatever is going to happen to bitcoin will surely meet us here, I believe in the future of bitcoin generally and I believe that the value will once again go above the last all times high that we got, maybe next year since we are already close to the bull run.
1619  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC is gain or loss? on: September 21, 2019, 01:56:07 PM
with this chart of bitcoin rise and down ... we can say that bitcoin loss . because if you buy when bitcoin 10000 thend sell when bitcoin 6500 then buy when bitcoin 10000 again
The problem here is your execution, why sell below your buying price? Its a clear panicking to me and its not good for you in the long run. The price of bitcoin is on a stable stage and i believe that it will continue to hold on this level before it goes up again. Don’t buy high and sell low, know when to enter in the market.
These are always some risk that we have to bear in mind when investing in bitcoin, and that is the reason why we have to be very patient and watchful when making decision to invest in bitcoin so that we don’t go and invest when the price has already peak and about to make a U-turn, it is not really easy mate to predict bitcoin which as good as I was in bitcoin analysis, I still fell into the cage of $13800 of recent too.

As bitcoin was growing, I though the bull run had already come, so I made a purchase for that $13800 and right before my eyes, bitcoin dumped to $9k, but I am still not worried because I believe that it will return back to that position. It is only people that invested in the $20k that I really feel for because no one knows how long that their money would be tied down.
1620  Economy / Speculation / Re: Crypto Bulls Celebrate Too Early? on: September 21, 2019, 11:47:00 AM
The cryptocurrency market was overwhelmed with positivity throughout the past couple of days as all of the major coins were trading in the green. A lot of them scored double-digit gains, causing many to believe that we might have entered a new altcoin season. However, this notion was quickly dismissed as today the entire market is bleeding red. Bitcoin plunged around $600 in a massive red candle, bringing all other altcoins with it.

Full Article
It was really a very sad situation, when I saw it too, I thought that we are already in the win win situation again and  I was expecting a very big surge in those coins, but it was a great surprise for me to see it plunge low, and I think that many people that saw profit on the increase were the ones that made the market to plunge again as they were  a removing their coin and also, I am not sure we have much new investors because in the past, this should have actually been a factor if fomo, many people in the past would have because of this start investing out of fomo, but if the people that we have in the market are still the older investors, you know that many of them already understand the market,  so this is not enough to cause fomo buy.
