1621  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Alt coins are About to pump again! on: July 04, 2022, 09:05:29 PM
Bitcoin is called the leader of the crypto market. The price of this bitcoin depends on the price of other alt coins. As the price of Bitcoin goes up, So does the price of other alt coins. Today, with the rise in the price of bitcoin, the price of alt coins has risen significantly.  However, the increase in the price of Bitcoin is temporary.
I would say it is the reverse, price of bitcoin is not depending on the price of altcoins, it is the altcoins that end up getting pumped based on the bitcoin price and that is why it could be something much more reasonable. This is something that shows the power of bitcoin, it is certainly something quite important to realize that the best thing that could be done right now is investing into bitcoin.

Of course, it is not going to be getting you like 100x return or something, but it will certainly get you something that would be a bit more dangerous if you invested into altcoins and then realize that you did something wrong by picking one that goes down a lot.

Your dream to see CR7 next season with Manchester United is likely to be difficult to come true because their mega star wants to leave this summer. he wants to play in a club that has ambitions to win trophies. I hope he can join PSG in the next season. I am waiting for the two world football stars to play in one team. maybe if he manages to join PSG I think PSG will be a big enough candidate to win the UCL trophy. because messi, mbappe, ronaldo are players who have very impressive abilities on the pitch in recent seasons.
Do you think when they (messi, mbappe and ronaldo) are in one team they will be compact when playing? Because when they realize their own potential is still very good, then everyone will try to score goals individually without distributing the ball to others and that I think will be very detrimental to the club. And actually this season PSG also didn't have many shortcomings in their line of players, but it's a pity that they still didn't get the UCL trophy.
I still think that if we are talking about what is "possible" then it is totally possible to see all three together. Neymar and PSG has been doing some talking and they may not all be in the same page. Which means that if Neymar is sold, then there will be one empty place there. Ronaldo played a great season with United, and he is almost always available as well.

If we were to compare Neymar and Ronaldo as of right now (ronaldo is clearly better if we look all careers) I would pick Neymar today and he is better, but I would take 30+ games of Ronaldo over 15 games of Neymar. This is why if they get rid of Neymar, and use only a small amount of it to get Ronaldo, it could actually make them better.
1623  Economy / Economics / Re: How can I survive in a place where BTC is restricted? on: July 03, 2022, 08:52:48 AM
I am always worried that if my country takes aggressive action by closing cryptocurrencies, even though we hold the private key but we will encounter many difficulties, especially if I want to receive money from cryptocurrencies transactions, the easiest way is to make credit cards so it is easier for transactions at cryptocurrencies.
the best way is to keep withdrawing your money time to time and invest in some secure local businesses. My friend was doing good in cypto - but his wallet got hacked and he was so upset. But then he started withdrawing money and invested in some local property - he is happy with his decision after a big loss.
Just because your friend invested into bitcoin and got hacked, doesn't mean that bitcoin is a bad decision to go on. Plus, just because he invested into some local places, doesn't mean that it would be smart for them neither. Sure there could be some situations where you may get hacked and nobody denies that, but YOU are the one that is getting hacked in that situation, hence the problem is not in the nature of bitcoin, it is in the nature of people, who get hacked.

I have been here for nearly 10 years now, never got hacked, not because I am so careful or anything, but none of my coins are in places that could be hacked hence even if someone literally got my phone and my pc, they still wouldn't get a dime out of me.
1624  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: July 03, 2022, 05:31:42 AM
Today the price of Bitcoin drops again to around $ 19K, in my opinion this is a good four, I have a target to continue to buy as long as I think is low, of course the opportunity to buy at a low price is difficult to happen again when market rising.
We do not really need to fear this one fall because to be fair to it, we didn't really had any problems in the fundamental sense, it was just one whale that sold a ton of bitcoin. It was a huge amount, like half a billion dollars worth, and when the volume is low, and you take out half a billion dollars, then you end up facing a bit of a fall. Believe me, when the prices return to normal and the volume is high, all of these would be normal.

Plus, if someone ends up buying half a billion dollars today, we would go back up right away like nothing happened. This is why it is not a fundamental reason and it is a simple drop that would be recovering anytime now.
1625  Economy / Economics / Re: You win or you learn. on: July 02, 2022, 06:08:24 PM
Both will always be side by side, we don't always have to win. In every new hype, new challenges will emerge that are more psychologically affecting to enter into it.
Basically it is a circle, most people call it a cycle but it is a circle basically. We get a bull run, we get a bear run, then we get a bull run, then bear then bull then bear. This goes on forever and will go on forever. The world can't make a profit forever, it is just not possible at all, and the world can't make a loss forever neither, it is impossible for people to get to a level where there is no money, it would create chaos.

So in the end, we are going to have to just live one bear and then one bull and repeat that circle forever. Right now we are in the bear run, or at least at the bottom of the bear run by the looks of it, then we will end up with a bull run for sure.
1626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Among all which do you hold on: July 02, 2022, 02:15:03 PM
otherwise you don't have much time to watch and observe the market it's better to just hold and let your investment grow automatically by staking on a platform you trust.
It's a good option if you're always getting burned in trading and choose to stake. Speaking of staking platforms, there are too many of them and it all lies down to the choice of altcoins that you want to stake. In exchanges, if you're going to stake bitcoin, that's not really what it mean is but you're letting them borrowed your bitcoin for them to use it for lending. You both share the interest that the borrower will pay the exchange. And for the choice of staking platforms, based on the list of stakingrewards, mycointainer.com is on the top 7 for staking providers.
That’s true, it’s not really "staking" in that sense. This means that we gotta just realize that bitcoin can't be staked. The name of it being "stake" doesn't even do it justice, it is just a simple situation where it’s you giving your money to someone else to make more money for you. Is this staking? Absolutely not, but if you do it on places such as Binance then it’s going to be quite fine.

Yes, it’s not named right, but they are legit company, and they would be willing to not lose customers and reputation so they will pay you even if they have to do it out of pocket. However, you need to be careful about all the other places and that’s going to hurt you a bit if you pick a wrong place.
1627  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Ethereum Will Not Devalue To Zero on: July 01, 2022, 02:21:41 PM
It is really a tough period where everyone is second guessing every single move they make .I understand that it may not be a simple thing, but it should not be an impossible thing at all to just go into ETH and buy some more. This second guessing and hesitation is mainly due the fact that people are not making big moves all that easily, they see the market doing crazy stuff and they usually end up with hesitating since they do not know which way the volatility will go. Its a good bear run that allowed people to buy from cheap, but many still wonder if it will go even lower and not buying right now because of it. I say buy no matter what, even if it ever drops, you are still in pretty early and should profit.
If people are stuck on second guessing their moves, they will eventually be too late to making a move and they will miss profit making chance. That "go ahead and buy some ETH" is as simple as it gets and if people are not finding a reason to do that, then they are going to be pretty upset when they see ETH near 5k zone when the time comes.

Certainly I agree that it is not simple to get out of that mindset, but they have to, they have no other option or else they will lose out that chance. Wondering if it will go any lower will only cause them to do nothing, and there is no way of making a profit by not doing anything, you have to get in, being involved is the only way to make money.

Definitely awesome to hear about you Dewi, I don't think I'm getting close to 5 BTC any time soon.

By the way in your VIP screenshot, how do you get the second icon (between the 1 BTC and 5 BTC wagered)?

Would love to get that one too.
Well for that one I don't know how it got in my account but I guess we can get it if we actively play 3-4 days in a row
Now my wagered 6.7BTC or 1.6 BTC today and took 3rd place in the daily competition, ah a bit tiring when competing with whales while my balance is less than 5mbtc  Cheesy I have to be able to control myself when another player rolls 1mbtc per spin lol.
That's a big risk that you took and you managed to get it anyway. If you have that little amount, and you could still wager a huge amount like you are a whale, that means you could be making big bank from all the other places as well and not just here. The trick of gambling is to go on without losing as much as possible and if you could wager with the same amount of money for many years then you would be actually profiting.

Well, as we have seen here from weekly but in other places there are other stuff as well plus there are rewards and cashbacks and competitions all around here as well. All in all, what you did was risky but if you mastered it then you will be fine.
1629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El-salvador bitcoin investment is underwater on: June 30, 2022, 05:14:23 PM
Haters gonna hate.

Admittedly, Bitcoin goes through severe corrections from time to time. Fiat also falls every now and then. The only difference is that for the rest of the time Bitcoin is slowly rising while fiat is continuously falling. The haters can't deny that. If we zoom out, we're seeing Bitcoin's line going upward and fiat's going downward. That's something nobody can deny.

Bitcoin's critics are free to nitpick. We've been observing that all the time. They're particularly very noisy when the market is bearish. For the rest of the time, they're wallowing in regret.
The idea is that due to inflation, we are going to have to pay more and more in fiat when we are buying something, that is impossible to dispute. Something you buy for 100 bucks today? Will be 200+ dollars in a decade or so, maybe quicker who knows?

When that fact is indisputable and it is right on your face, to say that bitcoin dropped for now? That is silly, I mean in a decade god knows where bitcoin will be, we all know it will be doing a lot better. This is why it is scary to think that there are some people out there who judge El Salvador for doing something like this. They have spent a certain amount of money today, but they will benefit from it in the future no doubt.
1630  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was $17.5K the low? on: June 30, 2022, 11:35:07 AM
I hope so, if the price drops again below $ 17k then the opportunity to fall more deeply, maybe it will drop below $ 10K and so on, today the market drop is more than 3% and I hope that it will not be below $ 20k, this is which sometimes makes investors impatient and choose cut loss.
Hopefully, the price doesn't drop below $20k and stays at $20k. Hopefully with the decline in bitcoin prices this time it won't make investors panic and choose a cut loss and can survive in this situation. There is much more hope that we would like to convey that the market doesn't fall too deep because if that happens again, there may be people who will sell their bitcoins quickly because they don't want to see the value of their investment drop any further.
I hope for the same thing, in fact I am 99% sure that everyone who holds bitcoin right now probably hopes for the same thing as well. However, just in case that it doesn't happen, we should also realize that the best thing to do right now would be getting ready for a big drop, not that we would want it to happen but we need to be ready if it happens.

I personally stashed some BUSD aside, not a lot but good enough to enter one more time which means that if it ever drops then I would be there to get in, and drop my average a bit more down. If it doesn't happen then I already have a good chunk of btc, which means I would be profiting from the increase anyway.
1631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 30, 2022, 10:00:20 AM
Honestly, I think De Jong to Manchester United is a good deal and despite the huge price tag placed on him it is still worth the money and stress so far in getting the deal. He is a good midfielder, he controls the ball fine and has  good passing accuracy but I think they also need to work hard on recruiting defenders cause their defending was very poor last season and need to replace some dead woods with young and fast defenders.
I am not sure if the money really worths it. I mean they could have gotten some other players for that much bag don't you think? It looks like they are going to be pretty cash strapped if they end up putting it on all one player. They will of course be fine, but they won't be able to do any more transfers or at least not big names at all.

Considering all the jokes were about their defense, mainly maguire, last year then it should be clear that they should have considered spending some of that money on buying a defender as well and if they spend this much on De Jong, they can't get a big name to defense at all, hence why it will still be a problem.
1632  Economy / Economics / Re: if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ... on: June 29, 2022, 08:24:30 PM
if you think 18k btc is low wait until autumn ...

I think it will reach 500-1000 USD max as you can't use to sell stuff and big whales already moved their money ...

In 2019 btc was already 9000-10000 USD , do to pandemic people invested a lot  in btc.
Bitcoins price of  $9k-$10 was actually rising from its dip of $3k+ around Dec 2018 to Jan '19 after its ATH of $19k+ of Dec 2017. Thinking bitcoins price will drop to $500-$1000 isn't happening even though we want to believe we cannot predict the market. Even those that are still predicting a Bitcoin price bottom of $14k is still been contested by some talkless of $500-$1000, I am of the opinion that those prices are not happening again.
That is not going to happen for sure, there is no denying that it wouldn't happen and I believe that we are going to end up with something much better. I understand that people could expect the drop to be severe and that is fine, I understand all that 14k talk as well, even though I do not expect that to happen anytime soon, that is going to end up with being realistic at least, because 14k is not too far off.

However, we haven't been under 3k since the 2017 peak period. We moved over 3k during 2017 at some point, and for the past 5 years we never went below that .Right now, I do not think that we will get even close, not even under 10k would happen.
1633  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Most of us have lived a world of USD dominance, but history changes on: June 29, 2022, 07:19:25 PM
Maybe it's hard to counterfeit today, but technological development does not stand still, and there's a chance that in the near future very few things will be left that are "hard to counterfeit". Then things like BTC will rule the world, things that are  impossible to counterfeit.
Hard to counterfeit is a wrong sentence as well. I mean yes maybe you may not do exactly one to one copy, but that is not really the case when you want to live like kings from a fake money is it? That is not going to be something you should be focusing on at all when you want to do an illegal thing. So, what do you do?

First of all, prefer to be not in the USA when you do that, and when you are in a smaller nation, like Latin America, then you could just find small places that would not understand it, and try to cash it out in bulk from those places, hell buy big products and ship it somewhere else and pay with it. There are many methods criminals use, and that is a disgusting way, but it is still possible. Crypto can't be faked at all, impossible.
1634  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoins Crossed 20k USD!! Don’t lose hope now. on: June 28, 2022, 10:20:14 AM
Hope means nothing when we have a war ongoing that could threaten and drag the whole world into it. I just want to be realistic, 20k is okay for now but I don't see much hope on BTC able to keep over that line for long.
well you are right about that. there is a big chaos going on in the world.. we were already struggling because of Covid and lockdown. and then suddenly this Russia Ukrain Conflict started. Economy is in disaster so is Crypto Market.
in My opinion Bitcoin Price will fluctuate between $18k to $22k for some time. this bear market is gonna be a long one. probably gonna stay for a year.
I wonder if anything major like that would happen anytime close? I mean sure we had pandemic and lockdown and then the war and all of that impacted the world quite bit and that looks like something that will worry a ton of people. But to me, it feels like we are in a situation where it is not going to be that easy to just say "it’s all over, now we can go up" because people are waiting for another crazy thing to happen, or at least they know that there is a possibility of such a thing.

In the end, we are not really doing something that will shock the world by buying up at low prices, but the moment it starts to go back up too much, we stop, and market just waits for it to drop again to keep on accumulating more.
1635  Economy / Economics / Re: Should we embrace a cashless policy?? on: June 28, 2022, 07:46:01 AM
Well, the moment of truth is that people will possibly embrace that particular situation but what makes them stop is the capability of their country and of the individuals. Besides, this is not hard to learn and I know everyone can do it but unfortunately, they are in such desperation due to the lack of support from the government and materials to run the system which gives courage as well.

Yet, I won't disclose the chance to be in the adaption as I literally will come but it takes longer, many years to come before it was realized.
That is correct and it would be needing translation in the regional and the local languages as well.
Also - it is not possible in the near future because it needs smart phone, internet connection and obviously people who are educated enough to understand the procedure.
I would say that translation would be easy step, that shouldn't really be a problem because they will handle it and it would be done within a few days, quite easy step. However, the fact that smart phones can't be used by many elderlies is still a problem, and I am not sure that we would be able to neither, like when we reach 80+ would we be able to, even though we grew up with smart phones?

I think there needs to be a back up, because if all else fails, cash is till there and we are doing that anyway. All in all, the only thing you would save in this situation would be trees, because they wouldn't be used to make paper money, aside from that most other things would be the same.
1636  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Hello Guys what you think about bnb.can bnb hit 1000$ soon or not.i think bnb hi on: June 28, 2022, 06:51:51 AM
I believe that the crisis won't end soon but it won't stop the msrket from recovering. Good things await for BNB as well because we all know how big its potential is. It could strike high but I guess it will also take time before it reaches $1000. Its network is on top of the best choices of most traders so I'm sure that it's not far from more adoptions and developments in the future.
That is the point that many people are forgetting. Yes, the world will still be in trouble, but that doesn't change the fact that we won't be in a recovery mode. The big drop happened because there was a crash in every single market, but the world can't just stand and go "I won't invest my money anywhere anymore because the economy is bad" and just keep it in cash.

Of course, we will go on to see a lot more investments and we will definitely get to a point where it will be more and more investments. This is why I believe that the best thing that could be done about crypto right now is to buy some more before the market starts to recover.
1637  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2022, 08:55:19 PM
I wish it's as simple as splurging money. Doing everything to keep them both doesn't really mean 'everything'. The amount of the contract each player's agent will demand from GSW management would matter because each team has limits as to how much they could spend every season. Apart from limited resources, we have to remember about salary cap and luxury tax levels. GSW also have to take into consideration the other contracts that will expire beyond 2022-2024 season.
I mean it is "sort of" like splurging money around. Meaning, yes there are caps in place to prevent these things from happening, so there will be a repeater horrible huge luxury tax that they will have to pay, it is going to cost them insane amount of money to keep all of these players there is no doubt about that at all.

However, if they decide to give max possible for ALL their players, they would still be able to do it, like not in the sense of money but in regards to rules, they have that right. It will result with them becoming the team that pays the most, and they would pay not only hundreds of millions of dollars to the players, but also record breaking number on luxury tax as well, but if they can afford it, then they can do it.
1638  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How long do you think the market will take to recover? on: June 27, 2022, 05:45:49 AM
I think the market will need a lot of time. Moreover, given the current situation and the fact that the situation will not improve, this will only delay the process of renewal.
Yup, It seems that the market will take a long time to recover. The market will take approximately 1-2 years to overcome this bad situation. Those who bought Bitcoin at high prices. He will have to wait a long time for his funds to be backed up.And those who bought Bitcoin in this dip market will get a big return if they hold it for a long time.
I do not think that it will take as much as 2 years to recover, that is a long time for bitcoin to stay low. I am not saying that it hasn't happened before, it did, but remember the 2018 drop? That has been the biggest drop that everyone talks about and after 2 years we already broke over that price.

It means that the recovery will start before that, for example after just one year of the drop in 2018, we had a 14k price in 2019 as well, which was not 20k but it was close. Same could happen here, like for example next year we could reach 50k, it wouldn't be a new ATH, but it would be a recovery and I think that could be a possibility in the near future, 2023 seems like a good time to recover for sure.
1639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: June 26, 2022, 09:20:54 PM
Gareth Bale is going to Los Angeles FC and this was a little unexpected for me. Because I was hoping to continue watching him in another European team. We have seen many players choosing to play for an American football team so far. Some of them returned to Europe after some time too. Maybe we can see Bale here again but I don't know how much he would be able to perform then. Anyway, Real Madrid must be contented with his departure finally as they weren't planning to give a place to him in their lineup.
I guess he just wanted to get away from all the stress. I mean he hasn't been playing competitive football in a long time, when was the last time it was expected of him to be a superstar Bale we all know? I guess the game against Liverpool in the finals? No not this year Cheesy a long time ago.

This is why him leaving to LA means that he will get paid a good chunk of money, as is the tradition for LA, and then he could just play there, or even stay injured and not play, and he can do whatever he wants, plus it is LA so I am sure he would have fun on all non-football period as well. All in all, great decision for anyone's mental health, if you do not want to compete at a high level and we all know he can't anymore.
1640  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin FUD is for losers. BE A WINNER. Stay Cool- Be Positive =D on: June 26, 2022, 07:16:02 AM
In time like this. I usually buy in DCA method while turning off all the notification for my social media and news site so I can’t see any news about Bitcoin. I literally disconnected to the crypto so that my decision on buying will not be affcted by FUD. I just keep on buying and buyin using part of my salary at my job and save my signature campaign salary until Bitcoin finally recover. I don't want to miss the next bull run so I will grab this opportunity to buy below 100k.
I would suggest that bitcointalk is also crypto related, so you might want to stay away from here as well Cheesy. But, I get the idea, I am not really staying away because seeing all those people who do FUD really helps me love bitcoin even more. Makes me feel like I am seeing something that others can't see and that is why I love it so much.

I mean it is like there is this hidden gem that nobody appreciates, and you know it is true value, and when it goes up in value and everyone wants a piece of it, you feel validated and relieved that it wasn't something crazy and you really did know what the real value of it was and you were the one that made profit from it the most.
I agree that it is not going to be that difficult, it will probably be reaching to a level where it is 100k+ or more, and people who are buying right now are the people who have been around for a long time. I have been trying to make a profit for a while now, and I know for a fact that all the coins I bought right now, will be giving me a good profit not long from now. It's the only thing that keeps me happy during a bear market.

Let's be honest and say that it's not a reason to be happy to see crypto going down all the time, of course it's going to be a sad affair. But to know that we are going to end up with a good profit later on keeps us from getting even more upset.
