What's everybodys thoughts on votecoin?
Been mining it, but difficulty / nethash is sky rocketing.

havent seen it yet myself ;p   i been just mining SIGT 50% hold 50% sell , tho im also mining one card on DGB, they apparently have some big news coming in the first few weeks of October, so im hoping for a rise to 600+ satoshis then ill sell my bag Cheesy

damn, we need a BSD Nvidia miner....
XLR dev set bounty on Xevan Nvidia miner since they moving to it in order to get MN working, maybe someone will do it, it's ~0.3 BTC if someone sell at sell wall.

Dosent matter now, profits are ded Sad (funny i had just mentioned it earlier haha)
SP made one and sold it to a private donator, if you look on yiimp you can see it Sad
based on alexis, looks like each card doing about 16mh/s, not sure WHAT cards, i would say 1080ti tho if someone had the BTC to buy it outright Sad

No, didn't remove any algo. I added back all pools however, and now it populates the command line correctly. However, miners do not start. Sad

i wonder if it has to do with the memory?  it says its "optimized for 1080ti" wonder if the  GDDR5X memory makes a difference as 1070 and 1080ti use GDRR5
have you tried using the original script and running that as default? just to see if starts, then you know if batch file error or cards themselves
also maybe try one card at a time?

good luck!
1644  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: ETH Difficulty +11% in less than 24 hours. on: September 24, 2017, 10:36:13 PM
One mre time, the Ethereum difficulty is growing hard since a few hours : from 2350 to more 3000 in less 24 hours...
Such power increase over Ethereum mining and a so low price since weeks : what is the explanation ? No new good hardware from AMD or nVidia...

For real?  You guys mine but don't follow the news and know when difficulty rises come and updates and such?

Jeez.

dont mind him, generally when people add nothing to a thread and just regurgitate what others said its just sig spam, i just put those guys on ignore, they are worthless here Cheesy

How do you guys think next months dif DECREASE will effect tho? word is with reduced reward, dif will also drop 50%

Hey hey, yes i confirm these details, looks good man Smiley

realizing i lost the CD somewhere i feel dumb, but thanks for not minding haha, imma throw in some new risers or something cause i feel bad, even tho you said i dont need to Smiley

Thx !
1646  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: {Rumor} 1070ti - Real? Thoughts? on: September 24, 2017, 04:21:18 PM
I'm not sure what the point would be.

An 1070 has 1920 cores so 2048 cores is not much of an upgrade. The 1080/1080Ti has 2560/3584 cores for comparison.

The only point I can see is if its built with 14nm technology like the 1030/1050/1050Ti while the rest of the 1000-series cards are based on 16nm fabrication. I'm not sure that slight efficiency upgrade would worth it to push a new card but who knows.

i think they are making them strickly to destroy any small chance Vega 56 had a beating the 1070/1080 ;p
They have been confirmed now by Gigabyte (inna terrible "IT" reference"), to be dropping around Halloween Smiley
I may grab one for the hell of it, it will be a Miners card for sure with G5 mem, and guaranteed it could NEVER be as bad of flop as vega atleast ;p
1647  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] 13 GPU motherboard & PSU 1000W+ on: September 23, 2017, 09:50:24 PM
Hey Hey, i have a BTC-pro 250 if your interested, its a 12 slotter, but it's never been used.   (it IS out of box tho as you can see from the pic as i DID intend to use it, so i made sure it posted. "Never had a GPU on it" i guess i would say :p
their about 130$ new, 75+ shipping, or 100$ shipped anywhere in North America its yours Smiley
Comes with original box of course, and all the stuff IN the box that comes off the shelf

more pics (with username and such) available upon request Smiley

i think this one takes the cake as scariest ICO this month Cheesy

But hey, who COULDN"T trust that guy on your site, he looks like the perfect person to keep my BTC safe Cheesy
Im being sarcastic, God help anyone that gives you a satoshi :/

ugh, way too high of a price, then you add that you admit the thing has issues?  ya im good no thanks
I mine with 1070 rigs like that, have NEVER had "problems after update"  wut? like driver, BIOS? your selling a basically broken rig because you likely did something wrong and want 1500$ OVER the value??!?!

hahahaha GTFO, have fun on EBAY Cheesy

hahha thats a funny thing to say about mining, its called VARIANCE Cheesy
you can use all the calculators you want till your blue in the face, they honestly DONT MEAN SHIT Cheesy   a pool could hit 100 blocks a day, or ZERO ;p
ALL you can do is trust the pool operators and do the math of shares yourself AFTER you hit the blocks Cheesy

"clearly something wrong" because you earned less than a calculator says.... LOL!~

EDIT: a 1080 does 2mh/s, some of mine are on zcoin right now Smiley
Does not explain the CONSTANT 4400 kh/s on the pool when I get 7500 on miner.
I know about variation thank you.
Mined shit tons of coins, first time there is a such difference between pool and miner. I stopped mining XZC in june for this reason.
So yes, there is something wrong.

you have no idea how MpoS or CDF works obviously, ya i think its best you just stop mining Zcoin all together, maybe all coins haha, then we dont have to listen to non-senscial BS from nooobs like you who dont know how shit works Cheesy
Happy Hashing Cheesy  dont worry, after some research you will find out a pool is usually NEVER accurate, as it has NO WAY TO KNOW YOUR HASHSPEED (it guesses with variables) ya nub ;p

Hey guys,  how long before the coin to be matured? I've been mining on mph all the coins i mined is still unconfirmed. Does that means something wrong with my setup?  Huh

it takes a while Smiley it depends how many blocks are hit and how quick they are as i believe it's the "Coinbase maturity" (confirms hardcoded to be needed with ALL fresh blocks), and NOT MHP's issue.  (BTC itself has i believe 50 confirms on fresh mined coins Wink )
Today it took a LOONG time to confirm coins, but how she goes :/
I think it took 24 hours about for me on MPH for my whole yesterday mined coins to confirm
1653  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: 1080Ti Specific - Best mining option on: September 21, 2017, 06:39:31 AM
@VoskCoin , looks like you are having the same issue I was.. after hours of troubleshooting it looks like its my motherboard.. two of the PCIe x1 slots are causing issues when they are plugged in to the entire board, but if I avoid those 2 pci e slots (the 2 between the main pci e x16) it works perfect but I cant run all 5 cards. going to call MSI tomorrow

https://imgur.com/a/EGCVE <- the 2 empty pci e x1 slots are the ones causing the issues.. if any GPU is plugged into them it causes all of the GPUs to run like crap and crash.

are you getting systems inturrupts/high cpu usage? check risers and make sure your set to "gen1" in bios. i had similar troubles once on a x51070 rig, turns out gen1 in bios fixed everything, funny how it goes, good luck man! Smiley
I had changed out every part to looking for the trouble but it was softwear not hardwear in the end ;p

Hi All,

I'm testing my machine for mining XZC coin using ccminer v0.0.3 forked by djm34.

my machine is Linux Ubuntu 16.04.3 LTS. GPU card I tested for compiling ccminer is NVIDIA Quadro 2000 with CUDA 8 driver.

First, I didn't found build.sh file in the tarball file. But since I'm quite familiar with compiling source, I did by using configure and make

another ccminer are work in this machine, I did test XMR ccminer and it works. but this ccminer for ZXC returns errors like this

.......

thanks in advance

have you checked to see if that version supports your compute? might be the issue. i assume your talking about https://github.com/djm34/ccminer-msvc2015/releases? what quadro 2000? P? K? or just the normal Quadro 2000? haha
Check your compute version for compatibility i would say (if lower intensity didnt help),  good luck! Smiley

This looks so scammy its not even funny, actually looks like our old pro team is out again
Responsible for about 15 ICOs that amount to NOTHING, i have seen this graphic work/website b4, not a penny from me!

these are the guys who tried to shill "Elon Musk" was investing, but of course couldnt get him to even RECONIZE them, so i see in the OP they left that lie out Cheesy

GTFO

oohhh haha does this guy got balls or just dumb? Cheesy   "invested 10 BILLION" dollars, omg lol, do you think it cost Bitmain that to R&D a miner? Cheesy
this guy dosent even have enough crypto XP to know what the shit he's saying, but thinks he can scam people? what a laugh Cheesy
GTFO man, noone wants your scam miner here Cheesy

Yes, @OP, its easily definitely a scam haha
1657  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: {WTS} 1080ti's (Canada/US) on: September 20, 2017, 03:19:12 AM
Bump, one card possibly called for(the badass Zotac AMP!), Nivida seems to be saving Volta for Q2 2018 with Vega being basically a flop
Rumors say G5 memory will become scarce, might wanna grab some cheap cards b4 it hits!
My gigabytes feature 3 fans and run out of stock quick online (none available now, as usual), great cooling cards and only 1.5 slot!
1658  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / 1070ti - Real? Thoughts? -- ON PREORDER NOW FOR NOV 2nd! on: September 19, 2017, 06:28:32 AM
So im sure some/alot of you have read the last few days rumors of Nvidia in the works on a "1070ti"
As you can imagine it's Pascal based. It's said to sport around 2,048 CUDA cores and G5 mem.
It all started with a pic circulating (below)

Real, or Rumor?  Expected price/performance/release date/effect on prices of other GPUs? Will you trade in all your 1070's for them? Cheesy

1659  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 19, 2017, 12:29:01 AM
Guys I'm having trouble encrypting my SIGT wallet.  It says to input a passphrase but there is no input box for me to type in.  Is it due to my DPI scaling?  I have a 4k display.

i would say definitally your kickass 4k display doing it, as i just synced a fresh wallet on another PC today, and encryption box looked fine to me Cheesy
haha i think most QT wallets haven't faced 4k displays before so they aren't very setup for it Sad
Thats a bitch haha, tho im sure maybe you can downsize for a min to do it? or do it on another less kickass display pc then transfer the wallet.dat Smiley
1660  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Signatum - New Algorithm - Fair Launch - No Premine on: September 19, 2017, 12:24:06 AM
I have question about PoS staking. What happens if you open more than 2 wallets on several PCs with same wallet.dat file?
Does it obstruct the PoS system and get no reward or does it work just fine? I'm thinking of running backup-wallet in case of unpredictable shutdown.

Thanks in advance!

not recommended brother, use dif wallets and just spread your coins to dif addresses within the wallet, or use reserve balance and advanced coin controls within the wallet, as if you just use the same wallet.dat file between dif computers your going to confuse your wallet big time.  orphan yourself and shit :/
its not hard to create new wallets or use advanced coin controls, worth learing for every miner imo
its works for normal sending/receiving of coins, but dont do it while staking
