That seems to be the consensus.
1662  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A serious proposal for a replacement non-profitable elected Bitcoin Foundation on: February 21, 2014, 06:34:56 AM

The communities response to my other thread referencing the current foundation has been more than a surprise. It seems that the foundation has been self appointed, appears to be self serving and is doing so whilst accepting dubious donations.

I propose therefore, that the community dissolve ties with this ponzi scheme and set up a new Bitcoin Foundation.

Wow, you joined the forum 8 days ago and already trying to stage a coup.
1663  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5.2 Released, please update! on: February 20, 2014, 10:17:46 PM
you can stop mining from now)
coin2x.com will double your dogecoins after 48 hours. try it)

Such scam. Much ponzi. Little wow.
Go invest 100DOGE (which is minimum) and see for yourself..

This doesn't prove its not a ponzi scheme lol. Even if it doubles 1,000,000 DOGE it can still be a ponzi scheme. In a ponzi scheme the guy that runs it pays the previous investor with the money of the next. So it can look real for a while. If you actually read the wikipedia entry you will understand. The actual story of Charles Ponzi is extremely hilarious, I suggest reading that aswell. You are gonna be LOL THIS GUY at the end.

So for them to be able to pay me out (for example 100 000) someone else needs to invest that amount of money after me ?

Edit: Yea short of. They can pay you from the investments of many instead of one too.
Edit2: I have no clue if coin2x is a ponzi scheme. Don't care either.
Well it could be true, why not. I mean about them being Ponzi scheme. But if I get to double up my coins I just wouldn't care after that lol  Grin

Bullshit!

Yep, it is a proven scam.
1664  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin startups on: February 19, 2014, 06:08:37 AM
Here is a startup idea any of you may steal, I've been thinking about it for months; have no clue where to begin to implement. My background is in insurance sales.

Start a Final Expense Life Insurance company that accepts premium in Bitcoin.
Make it simple. Only sell SPWL policies. Market to obvious target market. Younger generation is grossly underinsured with Life coverage. So, market $20K face policies. Only sell Single Pay policies. Only sell Final Expense (burial) policies. Few more details, but the general point is to keep it very simple.

Start off in 2-3 states and expand as growth allows.

Will MCX now consider adding RIECOIN (RIC)

No
1670  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] mcxNOW.com : Deposit. Earn Interest. Trade. on: February 14, 2014, 11:17:34 PM
I just recently new about MCX shares (mcxFEE) and I think it's a really good idea. Earning dividends from fees and trading the shares at the site itself easily is a win-win for both shareholders and admin. Thumbs up for this very fast and responsive C++ exchange.
I made the calculation. ROI is 2 years, 6 months if you sell back your mcxFEE.

Start thinking.

That sounds about right for making back the investment at current rates.
But keep in mind that as more and more people join mcxNOW that the fees will start paying out more and more. As the fees payout more and more, their resale value will go up more and more.

(Obviously, only will work out this way if Realsolid doesn't shut down the site and keep everything.)

1673  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] WorldCoin WDC | Coin of the Future | Instant Transactions | Launched on: February 09, 2014, 09:22:38 PM
Seems to be a very weak community. Rats are dumping and going for shit coins like doge, moon etc...

Anyway, i'll keep holding my bag to see where WDC is end of the year.

WDC value right now is 100% higher than it was 3 months ago.
There is nothing wrong with slow growth.

1679  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][DOGE] Dogecoin - very currency many coin - v1.5 Released! on: February 08, 2014, 09:43:59 PM
Let's say if the price were to go up after the reward halving, will the price raise begin right before the actual halving? I think so because people want to buy in cheap.
the only question is - when exactly?  Grin
because multipools are dumping hard and there is no reason to go high too early

I agree...don't think it'll happen until a couple days after reward halves and supply goes down a little bit.
1680  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: February 08, 2014, 09:04:24 AM

Prices are a bit more reasonable now.
