1661  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin failed as a currency on: May 14, 2018, 11:43:14 AM
It's interesting to know why the volatility of the crypto currency will decrease if capitalization and the market increase significantly Huh
I believe that, despite the unstable price of crypto currency, we will still use crypto-currencies more often, as a means of payment.
If there are many investors around the globe and and the price of bitcoin increases, the level of manipulation in price would be really low because you cannot purchase and hoard or manipulate huge number of coins when the price is high, still the whales who are holding the coins could sell off their coins and manipulate the market as we see now with the Mt Gox liquidation, they are selling off their coins in huge numbers that are affecting the market.
1662  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 12, 2018, 07:30:42 PM
the match looks like fixed without a doubt, they were cruising really well when chasing and suddenly loosing wickets and ends up chocking rather than getting the win
When RCB loosing the matches  -  Match Fixed
When MI winning the matches  - Match Fixed

Grow up mate, you are raising questions on ABD & Virat Kohli, who got 1.76 Million USD and 2.72 Million USD respectively for this season, they already have enough money.
Do you really think that if a match is fixed each and every person in the team will have the knowledge about it, be realistic and do not say fixed matches are impossible, we have seen a lot of fixed matches throughout history and there were matches where i lost money because it was purely fixed and then the investigation years down the line is revealed and we wont get that money back.
1663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is a new phenomenal innovation on: May 12, 2018, 07:04:23 PM
Could you consider bitcoin as the new innovations for fiat money? The answer will be used in my research term paper for the adaptation of unified digital currency that could be used by the people around the world.
Bitcoin is not competing against fiat currency and as a bitcoiner i do not have any dreams that it would be the sole currency traded world wide, both these form of transaction will exist in the future and that is what we have to see moving forward, people will have the option which currency to use and it will help users with hyper inflated economy.
1664  Economy / Gambling / Re: NitroDice.com - Welcome to the new era of DICE GAMING! on: May 08, 2018, 12:23:00 AM
This is what I know, any site will not reveal their current bankroll to everyone so there is no way they will sign any address just for their own security here. Big site or small site will no difference, as long as they keep their promise on the payment and withdrawals then I think you do not need to worry about their bankroll because it is privacy that they bet on
Since this is a new website, they should provide evidence that they have the necessary bank roll to withdraw if someone wins and they must be able to provide that proof and if they can do that they are advertising their site, no one is asking to publicly display their entire balance, but they need to prove that they could repay at least 10 bitcoin, the site looks good and if they have the funds its a good thing and it is indeed a way to promote the new site.
1665  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: May 07, 2018, 11:50:49 PM
Kohli as a captain and a player is really humbled by the entire teams performance of this IPL, even with big names they could not even win a match, this is ridiculous, the match looks like fixed without a doubt, they were cruising really well when chasing and suddenly loosing wickets and ends up chocking rather than getting the win and now they can join their families soon. 1666  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hacker demands Bitcoin ransom on hacked website on: May 07, 2018, 11:33:21 PM
As an anonymous and highly valued product, BTC is a good way to change money by investing in BTC.
Bitcoin is not anonymous, it has value and i clearly did not understand what you mean by these, this is a really funny conversation and it shows clearly that the hacker was a noob, he clearly did not understand the market really well and he was just playing around and the owner of the site really did not care about getting the site back, either way it was some fun conversation. 1667  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bill Gates and Warren Buffet are the newest critics of Bitcoin. (From CNBC News) on: May 07, 2018, 06:17:05 PM
What do you think is/are the reasons why the two of the world's most richest men doesn't support and is against Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency?
This is not the first time the old man is talking about a technology he could not understand under the natural circumstance of his age and still he wants to make opinions when he was an individual who promoted scam as he directly controlled all the rating agencies and that in turn started the meltdown having a closed eye on certain shady things and he was an insider trading and so i do not mind what he says
1668  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There is no doubt that bitcioin will be replaced by another cryptocurrency on: May 06, 2018, 11:28:37 PM
Yes, ETH should be able to replace bitcoins soon, may be next 5 years. If you see the current trends, buyers prefer using it over bitcoins.
Give me a good example of your so called trend, how do you evaluate the trend you discovered, there is no trend, there are a shit load of tokens coming out, some are good and some are really bad and you think that those tokens that is being created will push ETH above bitcoin, may be it will have a total market capital because of the sheer number of projects created by it, but that does not mean that ETH could be able to touch bitcoin's price valuations not in a million years.
There are tokens which are useless and there are many scams in the market because of these wild ICO hunt and it wont last long, the governments around the world will come up with regulations to counter this because of the amount of scams that happened with it and only legit projects should have the opportunity to collect funds and they must be monitored on their progress and if not big penalties must be imposed and that will cut short this mad ICO craze.
1669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: May 06, 2018, 10:40:44 PM
I'm expecting RCB to win tomorrow's match with a good partnership of Virat Kohli and Brendon McCullum. Smiley
I would like to see some performance from Brendon McCullum, he was one of my favorite players in T20s and i always liked his battled against Tait and how he hit over the keeper for six, it was the best version and the inaugural IPL performance was great, but then i did not find him perform that much and even now with his retirement from international cricket, if he could not regain his form, he wont be selected next year.
1670  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Your Tactic For The Upcoming Btc Crash on: May 06, 2018, 09:44:48 PM
btc has been on a decline for the past few months, except for the end of last year run.
it does look like btc is losing it's place slowly but steadily.

but are you talking about a market crash as a whole or btc dying alone?
Are you telling that bitcoin will die alone or you are assuming and asking that to the OP. Bitcoin wont loose its place and it is the primary coin everyone is targeting to get hold of, even with other alt coin projects majority of them assume to get hold of bitcoin when those investment end up in a profit, so it wont loose its place. There is literally no strategy to know before hand whether the market would crash, but if you come to know then i would sell off and buy back at the bottom.
1671  Economy / Gambling / Re: Primedice.com | Creators of Dicing 🎲 | 20 Billion Bets | 112+ BTC Jackpot! on: May 05, 2018, 06:25:08 PM
I do not think that every big whale is really need that faucet thing and I believe they do not even claimed it too. It is just a reward for them to hit the achievement. They always use big money to gamble and why do they need faucet to gamble? I do not find any good reason for them to gamble using those. You can see most of the big site that have huge whale will bet min 0.01 btc, I never saw they bet ower than that
The faucet is simply for new users to check out the site and the rest of the users actually do not need a faucet, i rarely used the faucet in the past few years and i use only when i bust everything, some have the knack to make use of the faucet facility by multiplying it and i have seen many people trying out their luck with success, with the price of bitcoin rising i do not think that they will continue with faucets for long.
1672  Economy / Economics / Re: Why people are still buying BTC? on: May 05, 2018, 02:34:54 PM
In my opinion, as a user and investor. I bought bitcoin because in addition to utility and blockchain technology, it changed the nature of personal financial freedom / assurance of information and safety. Use it easily according to purpose and needs. In addition, it is pure speculation is perfect to hope for a better life for the family and themselves.
As an end user do we really care about the technology, sure it does change the personal financial freedom irrespective of the inflation and the financial crashes, the safety is good as long as you know how to secure your coins and the major concern for me is that bitcoin has become a speculative coin than a currency, which i think is not that great looking forward.
I understand this thread is created way back in 2013 but the doubts OP had is the same doubts every new user has about bitcoin. Majority of the investment are because of the future profits they could make rather than using this as a currency and so is the reason people are investing in it.
1673  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The "All In" Challenge! Don't believe me? Just Watch. on: May 04, 2018, 08:45:23 PM
Taking a break after the loss will start again next month  Grin
Putting all in wont end up well all the time, i have my experience, where i was addicted just to gamble in sports, even if i am travelling and not able to watch the match live and so is the case with going full in, now i try to play safe and even then i end up with unexpected loss whenever there is an upset every now and then, use twenty percent in risky games and eighty percent in sure shot wins.
1674  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: IPL( Indian Premier League) Prediction Thread, 2018. on: May 04, 2018, 07:59:11 PM
I lost 2.5mBTC yesterday on CSK lel, and I think most of the gamsters shared the same fate.Even with wickets in hand they weren't able to score much in the final overs, SCREW JADEJA! That guys is the sole reason for KKRs win.

I have placed 5mBTC on punjab in a hope for recovery :v Indore is a batting ground, good batting pitch and small ground. With Chris Gayle and killer Miller in the team, Punjab has very high chances of winning.GO PUNJAB!
If you keep on trying to recover your losses you will end up with a deep loss, you lost today too, what is your next bet 10mBTC to recover all that loss. Cheesy
I did not see Miller play and if he is available Punjab is doing the worst selection process as he is the top T20 players and their batting lacks power hitters and so is the reason they lost today's match too.
1675  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth to pay $8200 for 1 BTC if you are a newbie? on: April 30, 2018, 09:45:05 PM
This  question should be asked if bitcoin's ATH price is $8,200 dollars but it's not the case and bitcoin's ATH is almost $20,000 dollars. So it's worth for a newbie to pay $8,200 for one bitcoin.
There is no confirmation that the price would again touch the ATH price, it all depends upon how much the price would go and it is just an estimate, there was a massive sell off from Mtgox team, consider another huge sell off from some other whales, the price could go down and might not even recover if there is more investment in it, what i am trying to tell is that, you cannot guarantee anyone when it comes to investment. Wink
1676  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-04-27] Alleged Crypto Pump and Dump Group Exposed by an Apparent Insider on: April 30, 2018, 08:46:20 PM
Do you reckon Litecoin founder Charlie Lee is one of them? He often hypes and sometimes does fud on some cryptocoins that he likes and dislikes. Sometimes I reckon that he is leveraging his fame to influence the newbies.

He is also trying to do it with his own coin, litecoin, which his latest tweets are trying to say that he has bought back again.
This market has turned out to be a speculative market, Charlie Lee is the best example, he just wanted to ride the market and that is the case with John McAfee who is willing to advertise any coin if he is given his share and we have seen Mayweather and other sports stars advertising ICOs, the only thing you have to be careful is to fall for these traps.
1677  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do you involved in Cryptocurrency on: April 30, 2018, 08:12:03 PM
the one and the most important thing, to get more money   Grin
I am certain that majority of the replies will be about making a load of money, i started using bitcoin because of the ease at which you can transfer money swiftly and easily without a third party trust and that is the only reason i started out in this market, making money is not my intention, but to transfer funds and gamble was my interest but that does not mean that i have not made any investment, i have made some but it wont make you millions, but over all i am happy with it.
1678  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can a cryptocoin survive if a dev remains anonymous? on: April 30, 2018, 06:38:05 PM
Can a cryptocoin survive if a dev remains anonymous?
I do not think so. What's your opinion?
What do you think about bitcoin, the initial developer is anonymous and still is revolutionized and created a new market, unless the project is aimed to get money from investors then the situation changes, if the developer is coming up with great ideas and if he really wants privacy, then he can remain anonymous and there is nothing wrong with it, we must not mix these with ICO and a developed coin.
1679  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Domain Ownership: bitcoin.com on: April 30, 2018, 04:22:05 PM
I stand by the points made by franky1, no one owns bitcoin and there is no trademark conflict here, we are here talking about decentralization but what everyone here is having a different opinion, if there is bitcoin attached you need to move that to the core, core is a team that helps in developing bitcoin and it is not a centralized authority and they do not own bitcoin. If Roger Ver is misleading new investors, the investors need to learn about the market before investing rather than trusting anyone blindly and there is no way you could forcefully own a domain unless it is used for illegal purposes.
1680  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 224: Nunes vs Pennington Info and Prediction Thread on: April 30, 2018, 02:38:54 AM
Bellator 198 Fedor Emelianenko vs Frank Mir is scheduled for later today.
The fight was really short, they were swinging for the fences, Fedor got clipped but got up and started swinging and won in just 48 seconds and he will be facing Chael Sonnen, i was impressed with his performance against Quinton Jackson but then Jackson is just a reflection of what he was as he lacks discipline and his cardio sucked. Expecting more theatrics from Chael leading up to this fight. Grin

This will be Dillon Danis' pro MMA debut. He has been talking a lot leading up to this.
Is he the person hanging with team Conor, no wonder he is trying to get fights with the help of talking, the problem is that he has a great ground game but his standing game sucks.

Quote
Would anyone be in favor of the UFC scheduling things so that Amanda Nunes and Racquel Pennington fought. And Tecia Torres versus Nina Ansaroff was on the same card?

They could have made this match up, but the problem with this is that, they wont actually accept the fight in the same card, because it strains their preparation and both wont be having time to look after each other, over all the fight game is half mental and half physical .
