I found the token a few weeks back in my ethereum wallet and was not surprised. There are hundreds of shitcoin airdrops happening in the forum and shitposters go around the altcoin section spamming for them with bent knees and open palms to receive these shittokens (Thats a whole lot of shit).
Anyway this idea was conceived by a bunch of people here when merit was first introduced. Not going to lie - be cautious before buying/selling this token on any exchange. Lets not have any newbies fall prey of PnD schemes.
This token will never get listed on any exchange as it was founded by a nobody (no offense) and has no purpose or team behind it. And anyone can get this token for free though just send that 0 eth transaction to the contract address. But not sure why anyone would want this coin in the first place since its not even affiliated with the forum. |

So roughly 4 hours ago Binance announced they would list HOLO Token.
This makes Holo Token (HOT) really hot right now.
PS: This is not the same as Hydro Protocol (HOT)
But what about the long term implications? How deeply will the eventual conversion to Holo fuel affect the speculative and real time market value of the token itself?
Out of the last few listings on Binance. Holo really holds an utilitarian aspect as it is one of the most ambitious projects. I would say they are just as good as Selfkey (Key) and Mainframe (MFT) - however I am kinda doubtful of the long-term usefulness of MFT.
One of the most interesting feature about the whole Holo project is that once the Holo network launches the "infrastructure provider" will be in debt. Making the price of Holo credits directly proportional to the amount of processing power they can get.
How according to you guys, would this increasing purchase power of Holo credits would actually affect the price of the erc token? Another question which confuses me - because it was a lot to read and I skipped - would it be a case of swapping Holo tokens (HOT) into Holo Fuel ? (HOF?) would that be erc20 compliant?
I have no doubt that Holo will be here for a long time to come, just like Golem who are also into the same segment although a lot different from what Holo team are doing but what do you guys think?

I too believe that legendster is right. Most crypto users in India are those that use technologies like mobiles or computers which are predominantly in English only. I too am comfortable in reading such threads in English itself because in hindi technical terms like "स्मार्ट अनुबंध" for "Smart Contract", "टेलीग्राम समूह" for "Telegram Group" , "सामग्री निर्माण" for "Content Creation" ,etc... I think as most information we get online is in English, especially for crypto, so when I encounter Hindi threads I have to translate most of those big hindi words in my mind to understand them. I truly support your idea about "Infinity snap", but I think it would be better if mods can looking into the members profile and their post history before take any actions. I have looking in to that Reddit subsection and some of the members missed the snapping date(9th july 2018) due to unavoidable personal reasons ( but they all are not the shitposters) and they got banned. So if we going for this kind of system of banning (I believed we should) better to implement a system only filtered the real shitposters but not members who really cares about the forum. Some times they can be inactive some period of time due to personal reasons which didn't mean that they are spammers or shitposters.
One good member actually worth more than hundred of shitposters or spammers.
You really think someone would go through so much diligence if such a "snap" were to occur? Did thanos look into the good deeds that Spiderman did before snapping him out of existence? Or any other superhero in the Universe that got "Shift-Deleted" because of the snap? No. So yeah, if this were to happen. It'd make the forum a cleaner place. But also a sadder one. |
