1681  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 12, 2017, 08:31:56 AM
Do not trust XRP, sell your xrp as soon as possible

xrp down 6000 sats

First, I think that's a temporal thing and second it's a good thing for those who believe that Ripple will be at least $1 by the end of this year. I personally believe that XRP will be $2 and that its recent falling is caused by massive selling by people who bought it very cheap in the past.

Ripple is pumped too much for so much coins released

It will dump to 4000 5000satoshis

If you are talking about the Circulating Supply, which is 38,326,381,283 XRP right now, then why do you think others do not notice that? Why Ripple is over 9k satoshis still when anyone can see how many coins were released? That's because the pace of adoption is greater than the pace of supply, and exactly for that reason XRP will rise in the future.

I do not have much experience with faucets in many major bitcoin sites but definitely it's tiring because you would just keep clicking on and on and the reward isn't that great anyway. There are a lot of ways that you could try instead of fauceting like freelancing or something alike. That would increase your earnings by a lot.

I agree. I also tried to earn from faucets but after some time I realized that it is very time consuming and the reward is too small. From my experience you can earn $0.3 per hour max, and for that you have to visit dozens of existing faucets without a break.
I agree with you mate, Faucets it's a waste of time, In general it's for newbie who are new in bitcoin community, to claim their first satoshis. By the way, nowadays faucets pay too low than old days. So by wasting your time, you don't expect that you can earn a lot with them, It's too hard.

Yes, I remember when bitcoin was around $250 many faucets were giving from 700 to 1000 satoshis and although it was the same amount in USD as they are giving now, for those who knew bitcoin will rise it was a great opportunity to collect some. But on the other hand, what if bitcoin will be $25k a year or two from now? Then the faucets are still good.
1683  Economy / Economics / Re: Do You Think Bitcoin Will Replace Dollar Soon? on: June 12, 2017, 08:03:03 AM
Even the price of bitcoin is very high I dont think bitcoin replace dollar. Because we dont know when the bitcoin die or how many years bitcoin will live in bitcoin world. Dollars live hundreds  years for sure so dollars cannot replace . Bitcoin will live decades I think base on my observation and prediction. But i hope bitcoin will live long . Bitcoin and dollars is both good investment.

Compared to most national curencies, especially in undeveloped countries, USD is a good investment indeed, but it is so only if you for some reasons can't invest in bitcoin. Looking at btc/usd charts we can't deny that bitcoin is much better investment and in terms of investment bitcoin is replacing dollar already.
1684  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Favorite type of gambling? on: June 11, 2017, 11:58:32 AM
almost all gambling games I liked but I like dice games because it is very easy and straightforward without use of the mind by playing a man happy just pitted luck there, In addition, moreover, I also like sports betting, because football is my passion and I love the moments of tension when watching football. I'm sure my favorite team as my support for them

I like dice games too. I'm not into sports, especially when it comes to watching it on TV screen so I never do sports betting. I tried slots couple of times but wasn't lucky with them so I quit. And poker is too hard for me to comprehend yet. So yeah, dice is the best.  Smiley

70 cents tomorrow. You heard it here first.

That's funny that you were almost right with your prediction. LBRY was $0.68 the next day. But after that it went down to $0.59 the same day and is staying more or less on that level since.
1686  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you save bitcoin for fun or for future purpose? on: June 11, 2017, 11:00:46 AM
I save Bitcoin as a means of investment as it shows growth at a very fast rate so that i can have have very good returns. Bitcoin is also showing an increase in acceptance which also increasing it's value. I only save it for future purposes.

I wish I was like you. Unfortunately I spent 90% of what I had in BTC earlier this year. Now I'm planning to not spend it because I can see how much more fiat I'd have if I sold them now for example. Now I'm saying to myself: "I'm not selling at anything below $10k!", but we'll see whether I can stick to it.
1687  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 11, 2017, 10:47:45 AM
Yes i think, they will keep on finding new ways to earn money and they will keep going into each opportunities  in life to earn money and i will bet that they already have some infos about bitcoins and they know on how they willearn here

I think you are exaggerating their abilities. I theory they should be like you said but in practice they are just people like you and me, and we all make mistakes. Yes it's a mistake to not invest in BTC being on their place, but some of them make it, I'm sure.

Bitcoin will be continuing to grow higher and higher as more Countries are into plans of generating their own digital currency. Hope the digital currency network will make a big change in the entire financial system, but this won't make the path for replacement of dollar. It won't go mainstream, will serve as an alternate for our fiat.

I think one day, in the far future, cryptos will replace fiat comletely, but probably we won't see it during our life time. People are slow to realize what is better for them and they usually stick to what they know for a long time, like fiat for example.
For me i think crypto will not replace fiat because coin the price is not stable you do not know if the coin live long or they die now. Even the price of bitcoin is very high I think it is not the reason to replace dollars. Because the dollars will live more century for sure unlike bitcoin anytime thay have possible they die. So bitcoin replace dollars is very impossible to happen real life.

This is exactly the kind of thinking I was talking about. Even though fiat is losing its value all the time and in some countries thier national currencies become worthless due to high inflation, we'll be ignoring those facts because fiat is known for a long time as something precious.

I see you plan as a normal thing and what anyone should imbibe as a culture and not only in gambling because any activities one is engaging even in business, there is need to sit down and compute the cost and benefit been derived and with that, you know whether this path is the right one or its leading me to early destruction. As a policy too, I am actually intensifying effort to be more prudent in this rule.
well that's right knowing limitation will be applied not only with gambling  nut also with other way around, as we needed to compute our benefits and loses to make sure that we are moving forward or if we needed to change our plans its an effective ways of doing good business and its should be a must for everyone who loves to have self control.

Self control is a good thing but people lose it while gambling that's the problem. It's easy to say the words but in reality sometimes we just can't stop betting until we lose it all. That's why it's important to never deposit on a gambling site more than you can afford to lose.
We should learn from all whether it's the experience itself or that we read from other people's stories because if we won't to learn to control ourselves then gambling will only make you crumble.

Yes, gambling can be a pleasant experience if you will not be abusing it. And we can learn from other gamblers what the abusing means regarding to gambling. In short you are abusing gambling when you play with amount which is too big for your budget and another thing is when you gamble all the time, when you losing all the time you have to gambling.
1691  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [XRP] Ripple Speculation on: June 10, 2017, 02:43:45 PM
It's interesting to see so much bullish charts, but yet market(price) don't think so... Huh

Market price is not as people want because its low comparing with the proportion of bitcoin price increase

But Ripple was 0.00003 BTC two months ago and now it's 0.0001 BTC. As we can see XRP has risen 3 times in BTC which means that actually Ripple price increase is higher than that of bitcoin's. Even thogh XRP has dropped from that 0.00024 peak it is still showing better rising than of BTC in the last two months.

I know but people haven't invested when ripple was very cheap before, but now it's in top5 or top3 of cryptocurrencies and it's on top of most traded crypto coin in the popular exchanges.

This increases the price (mostly pumps) but as we have seen the price has been dropped too much but the value in fiat not that much.

I think that banks have affected the price of ripple too much that the traders have moved their funds to digibyte and some other altcoins which weren't known too much as they are now.

But how can anyone pump a coin with $130+ million in trading volume? For that they'd have to risk dozens of millions USD. I think pumping is possible only for coins with much smaller trading volume.
1692  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Send Someone a Tip? on: June 10, 2017, 02:32:58 PM
I use DOGE for all my transactions, because the transaction is fast and the fee is super cheap, and today everyone has a DOGE address

I myself don't have DOGE   Tongue

Since that person is actually into crypto stuff and you want low fees, then try altcoins like DOGE or REDD. Their fees are extremely low.

Actually dogecoin is omre common if we talk about tipping (low price+ low fees + fun Cheesy )

DOGE is probably best, but as I said in one of my posts above, I was looking for something that gives freedom to sender & receiver on the currency they want to use. The exchange happens on-the-fly (like shapeshift.io)

I don't think something like that exists.

If that site is legit that's really great. I wasn't aware of its existence and now the more I look at the site the more I think they are definitely not a scam. 44,000 followers on FB means something.

But why can't you use this site for implementation of your idea? Do you think the fee they charge is too high? For example to exchange ETH for BTC you have to pay a "Miner Fee" which is 0.003 BTC.

The site is definitely legit. To build a tip service on top of it will take some software development knowledge and I'm not a developer myself. I just want to use such service if it's available. But looks like there's nothing out there.

This might be a good opportunity for someone to create such a service if they see some value in it.

Yes, I also think they are legit and if you think it's a good site to use for your idea you can hire a developer.

But what do you think about that "Miner Fee", 0.003 BTC, they charge for exchanging ETH for BTC? Isn't it too big? The optimal fee for a fast transaction of the median size of 226 bytes is 88,140 satoshis according to https://bitcoinfees.21.co/. Don't you think 300k sats is a lot?

1694  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What about rumors that bitcoin is going to die? on: June 10, 2017, 01:37:59 PM
Probably not a natural death unless caused by insecure or Jealous souls. Bitcoin is an excellent currency with promising future. It is the solution to loads of unsolved problem. I don't see why it should die now or in the future.
Bitcoin has a strength that can last for a long time. Everyone believes that the digital currency can replace the cash currency. There is no reason to mention that bitcoin will die and disappear in the world.

Although in theory anything can happen, I agree that chances for bitcoin to disappear are small. Bitcoin is comparatively a new thing and it's healthy so it will live, and rather older things will die.

Sure, there's the need for consistency when it comes to gambling bankroll but the failure to control our emotions whether happy or sad gets us to do the absurd and we end up losing everything. If I had my own way i will strictly force everyone to see a psychologist before you begin professional gambling.

Not only for professional gambling but, I think, for gambling in general. The thing is many gamblers see themselves as "professional gamblers", they overestimate their abilities big time and what they really need is an advice from a good psychologist.
1697  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you think billionaires invest in BTC? on: June 09, 2017, 11:53:04 AM
I just always wonder if those billionaires still invest in btc. Do they even know btc exist?

Good question. I know it looks like it's impossible for someone still to not know about bitcoin, but I personally talk to people at least once in two weeks about bitcoin. And when I start I think this person should definitely know something because it's either a student of Economy or a person who I think aware of all modern trends. But to my surprise it is often happens that they know nothing about BTC.

1700  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: From faucet to thousands on: June 09, 2017, 09:53:39 AM
Do you know a good strategy to increase faucet satoshis (300-500) to couple thousand?

I'll tell you about the strategy which worked for me several times. Claim the faucet, say it's 200 satoshis, and bet 5 times, 40 sats/bet with 1% win chance. If you hit it, you'll have around 4,000 satoshis in profit. Usually it takes several claims before you hit it, but it happens eventually. I'm not saying you can make money with this strategy because you'll lose those 4,000 satoshis after playing with them for some time, but it's fun.

It'll be good if we combined it with 0.1% and 0.01%. After hitting 1%, try our luck at 0.1%. Then try with 0.01% after we hit that 0.1%. But for sure it needs time and luck!

Yes, sometimes I'm doing just that. For examle after I won 4,000, I make 80 bets, 50 sats each, with 0.1% win chance and if it's my lucky time I hit what I need and get 50,000 sats. Then I have enough to make 2,000 bets, 25 sats each, with 0.01% chance. ... Well, evetually I lose it all, but what a feeling to roll that 99.99 or 0.00 and get 250,000! I had it twice so far.
